Qin Yu

Qin Yu is Qin De's third son, the sworn elder brother of Hou Fei and Hei Yu, and the creator of the Stellar Transformations path. Born unable to cultivate internal energy, he turns external training into the foundation of a journey through the mortal, Immortal, Demon, Dark Star, and Divine realms. His love for Jiang Li, loyalty to his family, and refusal to accept inherited limits ultimately lead him to form an independent cosmos.

Biography

A prince without internal energy

Qin Yu grows up at Misty Villa apart from the court, convinced that his inability to cultivate internal energy makes him unable to help his father, Qin De. That distance is emotionally sharper than material privilege: he wants to be useful to his family and believes strength is the only contribution his father truly needs. When Zhao Yunxing offers a path through external practice, Qin Yu accepts training whose pain and repetition would deter most students because it gives his filial devotion a concrete direction. (Chapters 1–8)

Zhao Yunxing's program remakes Qin Yu through weighted running, flexibility work, strength conditioning, and close-combat drills rather than through internal energy. Qin Yu does not treat suffering as proof of greatness; he studies what each exercise changes, develops ways to use speed and leverage against stronger bodies, and keeps returning after exhaustion. His progress turns the villa's protected third prince into an athletic fighter who can make decisions under pain, while also teaching him that disciplined method can overcome a limitation others regard as final. (Chapters 4–16)

His desire for recognition does not erase his compassion. Qin Yu forms sincere bonds with Lian Yan, Fengyuzi, the villa attendants, and the black eagle he calls Xiao Hei, and he continues to value ordinary lives even as his training makes lethal action possible. Seeing his father and brothers carry political burdens he cannot yet share strengthens rather than resolves his insecurity. By leaving the villa to test himself, he chooses a dangerous form of independence: he will become useful through results, without asking the Qin clan to protect or publicly validate him first. Meteoric Tear, Liu Xing, and an inherited path

The Meteoric Tear changes the physical terms of Qin Yu's training after it enters his body and supplies restorative energy. It repairs damage, accelerates recovery, and nourishes a body already forged through external practice, but Qin Yu still has to impose the workload and learn how to fight; the treasure does not provide technique or judgment for him. He uses that recovery to press beyond ordinary external limits, while concealing the source of his unusual resilience because exposure would place both himself and his family at risk. (Chapters 23–46)

Under the name Liu Xing, Qin Yu converts training into clandestine work as an assassin. The identity lets him gather combat experience and act beyond his princely position, using appearance alteration, close-range attacks, throwing weapons, and careful preparation rather than announcing his lineage. Lian Yan's death makes that separation personal. Qin Yu pursues the killers and accepts the moral weight of vengeance, discovering that effective ruthlessness can protect those he loves while also leaving him privately troubled by the lives he takes. During Qin De's heavenly tribulation, Qin Yu abandons secrecy when his father's survival is at stake. He intervenes despite enemies beyond the level his external practice should allow him to challenge, and his body is catastrophically damaged in the conflict. That apparent endpoint leads him to Lei Wei's inheritance and the Lei Mountain House. The Stellar Transformations method gives his stellar energy an ordered progression through Nebula, Meteor, and Core stages, turning the deficiency that excluded him from conventional cultivation into the reason he must walk a distinct path. Underwater exile and the founding of Stellar Tower

Qin Yu and Xiao Hei leave the Qian Long Continent after his new cultivation path and the aftermath of the tribulation make their old life untenable. Pursuit beneath the ocean forces Qin Yu to adapt to a world ruled by aquatic experts whose ranks and institutions are unfamiliar. He survives through speed, misdirection, weapon refinement, and mutual reliance with Xiao Hei, treating the eagle as a brother rather than a subordinate. Their flight establishes the pattern that will define Qin Yu's later households: chosen loyalty matters more to him than species, origin, or official hierarchy. (Chapters 81–109)

At the bamboo house, Qin Yu meets Jiang Li and Jiang Lan, then encounters Hou Fei. Li'er's healing and calm attention create a refuge from constant pursuit, while Hou Fei's aggressive confidence gives Qin Yu and Xiao Hei a companion capable of meeting danger with equal intensity. Qin Yu does not merely recruit useful fighters. He earns trust by sharing risk, listening to unfamiliar powers, and refusing to measure affection by rank, which lets companionship develop into the sworn bond among the three brothers. When Cha Hong's Blood-red Cave and the Nine Demons Hall struggle over authority and treasure, Qin Yu works inside systems stronger than his own faction instead of confronting every enemy head-on. He studies rival motives, exploits uncertainty surrounding Cha Hong's death, and combines his brothers' force with deception and timing. These choices win control but also demand harsher decisions than the compassionate prince once imagined making. By founding Stellar Tower, he changes from a fugitive into a ruler responsible for subordinates, territory, and the consequences of every threat his rise creates. (Chapters 126–194)

Mortal return, Ni Yang's mansion, and separation

Returning to the Qian Long Continent lets Qin Yu rejoin his father and brothers, but it does not restore the simplicity of his childhood. Zhao Yunxing's death and the mutilation inflicted on Qin clan members by the Chaoyang school turn homecoming into judgment. Qin Yu destroys the responsible school, acting from loyalty and deterrence while recognizing that necessity does not make killing emotionally weightless. His response shows how rulership has changed him: mercy toward future attackers can become cruelty toward dependents, yet vengeance still exacts a private cost. (Chapters 164–194)

The Nine Swords Immortal Mansion then places Qin Yu among loose immortals, loose devils, and other experts competing for Ni Yang's legacy. He enters to survive, protect Li'er, and secure means of advancing, not because he trusts the expedition's alliances. His knowledge of the mansion's true control core and his caution in the Hallucinatory Magic Land and Road of Death allow him to outmaneuver opponents with greater nominal power. Claiming the Lord of Black Flame's Ring makes him the holder of Ni Yang's most consequential mortal-realm bequests and therefore the focus of a larger treasure struggle. (Chapters 195–215)

The quiet journey with Li'er after the mansion gives Qin Yu a glimpse of a life organized by affection rather than pursuit. Zhou Xian's arrival destroys that possibility by revealing a higher-realm family conflict whose power Qin Yu cannot yet challenge. Qin Yu refuses to renounce Li'er, but he also understands that defiance without strength would make her position more dangerous. When she leaves and Uncle Lan sets a path toward reunion, Qin Yu makes reaching her the organizing purpose of his cultivation; ambition that once centered on paternal approval expands beyond the mortal realm. Tribulation, Ni Yang's Realm, and ascension

Before he can ascend, Qin Yu must survive the 9-in-9 heavenly tribulation and the mortal realm's attempts to seize his treasures. Reuniting with Hou Fei and Hei Yu restores the three-brother alliance, but also raises the stakes because each brother becomes a point through which enemies can pressure the others. Qin Yu trains through the danger, deploys the Sword Immortal Puppet under the separate Lan Feng persona, and withholds information when disclosure would expose his limited supply of top-grade elemental spirit stones. Strategy compensates for the gap between the puppet's apparent force and the finite energy Qin Yu can actually provide. (Chapters 237–285)

Within Ni Yang's Realm, Qin Yu cooperates selectively with Man Qian, Fang Tian, and Zong Jue while resisting Hua Yan and the competing upper-realm emissaries. He treats every alliance as a decision about survival rather than proof of permanent friendship. Navigating Ni Yang's tests brings him the Ten Thousand Beasts Atlas and, most importantly, Jiang Lan's Realm. The portable realm's sealed layers turn Uncle Lan's test into something measurable: opening them will require growth in soul, cultivation, and control, not mere possession of a powerful artifact. Qin Yu creates the seventh stage of Stellar Transformations because Lei Wei's inherited method cannot carry him indefinitely. This act changes him from successor into author: he must observe the behavior of stellar energy and accept that an error in an untested stage may destroy him. Ascending independently separates him from his brothers and places him in the Immortal Realm without the conventional nascent soul by which others interpret power. He arrives vulnerable in institutional terms but with a cultivation system increasingly impossible to measure by inherited ranks. (Chapters 302–310)

Imperial pursuit, chosen allies, and the brothers' reunion

On Amber Moon Star, Qin Yu keeps a low profile while adapting to the Immortal Realm's gravity, energy, and social order. He reforms his meridians, refines his soul, and joins the Jade Sword School long enough to understand local conditions. Teaching Han Shu gives him responsibility for a student rather than only himself. When Han Shu is killed, Qin Yu's caution becomes punitive retaliation: he avenges the disciple and accepts the resulting attention, demonstrating again that protection of a personal bond overrides the safer course of remaining unknown. (Chapters 311–332)

Emperor Yu answers Qin Yu's survival with increasingly powerful hunters, sword immortals, and formations. Qin Yu avoids treating escape as humiliation; he uses the Lan Feng puppet, the Qingyu Immortal Mansion, and incomplete information about his real level to keep enemies guessing. On Hidden Emperor Star he forms genuine friendships with Ao Wuming and Jun Luoyu, relationships notable because they are offered outside treasure claims or command. Opening the first layer of Jiang Lan's Realm gives him time and refuge, but each unopened layer remains evidence that he has not yet reached Li'er. (Chapters 329–364)

The Ten Thousand Beasts Atlas initially gives Qin Yu access to residents whose cooperation is conditional rather than automatic. By meeting those conditions and demonstrating Jiang Lan's Realm, he gains the alliance of Wu Lan, Ye Qu, and Ao Wuxu. He treats these experts as people with histories and choices, not expendable stored weapons. Their presence turns the portable realm into a protected community and force multiplier, while their advice helps Qin Yu survive imperial encirclement without confusing borrowed high-level strength with his own cultivation. Reaching the Demon Realm allows Qin Yu to reunite first with Hou Fei and then with Hei Yu, whose family has lived under pressure from Zong Yan. The brothers train within Jiang Lan's Realm and join the effort to recover Bai Xin from Black Crow Star. Qin Yu survives the Sealing Element Refining Flame Array, but the escape matters beyond endurance: meditation on a meteorite and cosmic motion pushes him toward a ninth stellar stage that generates a distinct space. Family rescue and cultivation cease to be separate goals, because the space he creates may become the safest home he can offer them. (Chapters 381–427)

The Gold Punishment Lord and Chehou Yuan's inheritance

Still hunted alongside his brothers, Qin Yu enters the Dark Star Realm under the Liu Xing identity. The realm's trials and extreme gravity let him temper a body that conventional Immortal Realm observers repeatedly underestimate. He does not seek the Gold Punishment Lord's position for prestige alone; its authority and the Gold Punishment Spiritual Pearl provide a way to resist Zong Yan and Emperor Yu while moving toward the Bewitching God Temple. Passing the relevant challenges makes him a sovereign whose legitimacy rests on demonstrated bodily power rather than his hidden origin. (Chapters 428–461)

As Gold Punishment Lord, Qin Yu has to balance concealment with public responsibility. He uses Jiang Lan's Realm, Wu Lan's support, and the brothers' shared strength without revealing every advantage to the Dark Star Realm. Training with Nine Steps Force and under crushing gravity deepens the close-combat foundation he began at Misty Villa, while the Black Hole and later stellar developments give that body a radically different source of power. The title therefore marks continuity as much as advancement: the prince once rejected by internal cultivation becomes ruler of a society that judges the body directly. (Chapters 431–474)

Opening the Bewitching God Temple gives Qin Yu access to Chehou Yuan's crafting legacy and brings Uncle Fu into his service. The inheritance is not an instant transfer of mastery. It imposes study, artifact control, and stewardship over treasures whose full use belongs to later stages. By the end of the pursuit, Emperor Yu is dead and the immediate imperial hunt collapses. Qin Yu returns to his mortal-realm family with greater power, but his most durable gain is a new obligation: to understand and carry forward the absent craftsman's work. (Chapters 475–491)

Formation grandmaster and Craftsman God

Ascension to the Divine Realm makes Qin Yu a vulnerable newcomer again. Its gravity and entrenched city powers reduce achievements from lower realms to limited protection, so he studies before challenging the hierarchy. Chehou Yuan's Array Path Nine Hundred Scrolls give him a disciplined body of formation knowledge, but progress depends on repeated deduction rather than inheritance alone. Establishing Mount Bewitch You provides a base where he can test arrays, protect followers, and turn solitary insight into an organization capable of surviving hostile Heavenly Deities. (Chapters 492–527)

Qin Yu's response to Tan Jiu and regional hostility combines capture, deterrence, and selective recruitment. The God Sealing Pagoda can imprison Heavenly Deities, while layered trapping, illusion, and killing formations let Qin Yu control ground that raw rank would not secure. He develops the Universe formation by joining his cultivation's spatial understanding to the Array Path, yet the work still requires materials, time, and correct deduction. Success changes his social position: forces that could dismiss a newly ascended cultivator must negotiate with a formation master who can redesign the conditions of battle. (Chapters 508–549)

At Mount Dazzling Gold, Huangfu Yu and Huangfu Jing give Qin Yu access to a court where craftsmanship can earn standing that ancestry denies him. He integrates formations into artifact refinement, completes the Divine Spear Waning Snow, and gains recognition as the new Craftsman God. The title is earned through completed works and solved technical problems, not simply through owning Chehou Yuan's temple. Meanwhile Stellar Transformations reaches the Universe stage, and the New Cosmos becomes an independent source of spatial energy that even Divine Realm experts cannot evaluate by ordinary law. Choosing Jiang Li and building Purple Mystic Mansion

Qin Yu enters Floating Snow City's groom search determined to reunite with Jiang Li, but the contest forces him to operate within Jiang Fan's political calculations. Zhou Xian and Duanmu Yu are not merely romantic rivals; their lineages and gifts represent alliances Jiang Fan can weigh against his daughter's wishes. Qin Yu accepts the trials because public success can remove excuses for rejecting him, yet he refuses to believe that craftsmanship, treasure, or status can legitimately turn Li'er into a prize awarded for another ruler's advantage. (Chapters 572–593)

His victories and grand gifts demonstrate that the former mortal prince now possesses the technical mastery and resources Floating Snow City demanded. Those accomplishments do not settle the choice, because Jiang Fan's final judgment remains political. Qin Yu responds by rejecting the ruling rather than bargaining away Li'er's agency. Jiang Li chooses to leave with him, and Jiang Lan supports them as protector and father figure. The decision transforms Qin Yu from a petitioner seeking acceptance into an autonomous lord willing to bear the military consequences of creating a family outside the city's authority. (Chapters 588–601)

Qin Yu builds Purple Mystic Mansion as both home and declaration. There he marries Jiang Li, gathers his brothers, elders, allies, and dependents, and provides a domain that does not condition belonging on the favor of a Sage Emperor. The marriage fulfills the goal that drove his ascension, but it does not end his responsibilities; protecting his wife and their growing family makes conflict with Jiang Fan and Zhou Huo more direct. Qin Yu's answer is institutional rather than merely personal: he creates a household strong enough to shelter the relationships for which he has repeatedly crossed realms. (Chapters 598–611)

Godking war and the nearly completed New Cosmos

The Sage Emperors' campaign against Purple Mystic Mansion tests whether Qin Yu's independent power can protect more than himself. He uses New Cosmos spatial energy for teleportation, binding, and destruction in the Divine Realm, while Waning Snow gives that control a focused offensive edge. He also draws on Jiang Lan, Yi Feng, Zuo Qiulin, and other allies rather than presenting creator-level growth as solitary invincibility. His forces kill, capture, or compel hostile Godkings, making the mansion a lasting power instead of a temporary refuge built around one exceptional cultivator. (Chapters 612–642)

Qin Yu's New Cosmos also changes the limitations governing him. Its spatial laws are his own, and its continuing development lets him project effects into the Divine Realm that ordinary Godkings cannot reproduce, including Time Stop and spatial destruction. Range and completion constrain the earlier uses; he cannot simply treat an unfinished cosmos as unlimited authority. As his soul and cultivation progress into Godking-level combat, however, the relationship reverses: the Divine Realm becomes an external environment into which he applies power sourced from a space no rival controls. (Chapters 623–665)

During the Exalted Celestial Mountain struggle, Qin Yu intervenes in the contest over the Living World Seal to protect allies and prevent enemies from turning the opportunity against his family. Chehou Yuan's elevation confirms that inheritance and gratitude can culminate in a future separate from Qin Yu's own rise. By chapter 680, Qin Yu withdraws into a New Cosmos only months from completion. He remains husband, father, brother, craftsman, and protector, but his latest state also fulfills the logic of his first decision: unable to enter the path the world supplied, he has created a world and path of his own. Appearance and personality

Qin Yu begins as a black-haired, athletic youth whose build is produced by relentless external training rather than internal energy. Repeated tempering, the Meteoric Tear's restorative power, Dark Star Realm gravity, and later body methods make him exceptionally tough, fast, and physically controlled. In the upper realms he is commonly described in long robes, while aliases and appearance-changing methods allow him to conceal the identity behind an otherwise increasingly formidable presence. (Chapters 1–57, 311–491)

He is filial, protective, patient in study, and intensely loyal to relationships he chooses. Qin Yu can deceive enemies, operate under false identities, and impose lethal consequences without hesitation when family or dependents are threatened, but the corpus repeatedly separates tactical hardness from emotional indifference. He is troubled by killing and by the grief concealed beneath practiced calm; chapter 509's strain beneath his smile is consistent with the compassionate prince who learned to carry responsibility without becoming casual about its cost. Qin Yu's defining intellectual trait is refusal to treat an inherited limit as a final explanation. He analyzes exercise, combat, cultivation, formations, artifacts, and cosmic motion until he can build a workable method of his own. That independence does not make him dismissive of teachers: Zhao Yunxing, Lei Wei, Jiang Lan, Chehou Yuan, and Uncle Fu all shape his development. He honors them most fully by extending their instruction rather than merely preserving it, while offering followers and allies the same dignity of choice that he seeks for himself and Jiang Li. Abilities and cultivation

Qin Yu's power develops from external body training into Stellar Transformations, a self-extended cultivation system that eventually produces the New Cosmos. His signature advantage is not one inexhaustible technique but the interaction of a tempered body, stellar energy, soul growth, formations, crafted equipment, and an independent spatial domain. Several major effects also remain item-derived: the Meteoric Tear heals him, Jiang Lan's Realm provides a portable refuge, and Waning Snow focuses his later spear combat.

External practice and close combat

Zhao Yunxing's regimen is the origin of Qin Yu's physical foundation. Weighted endurance work, flexibility, strength training, practical striking, and repeated fighting drills develop speed, balance, pain tolerance, and the ability to attack vital points at close range. Qin Yu supplements them with throwing weapons, appearance and bone changing, and later forging. Early on, the method cannot produce internal energy and leaves recovery limited by an ordinary body's damage; the Meteoric Tear later removes much of that recovery bottleneck without replacing the technique Qin Yu acquired through practice. Dark Star Realm gravity and Nine Steps Force extend that foundation to upper-realm combat. The method builds overlapping force through controlled steps and body mechanics, while extreme pressure strengthens bones and muscles that ordinary rank descriptions underestimate. Qin Yu uses these abilities for close fighting and to qualify as Gold Punishment Lord, then later integrates them with spear practice. Their early limitation is scale: bodily skill lets him defeat or surprise stronger opponents, but it cannot by itself answer the highest Emperors or Godkings until Stellar Transformations and equipment supply comparable energy and spatial control. Stellar Transformations

Lei Wei's legacy gives Qin Yu the initial Stellar Transformations stages after conventional internal cultivation has failed him. The method gathers and transforms stellar energy through changing structures rather than maintaining the standard nascent soul expected by other cultivators. Qin Yu advances through Nebula, Meteor, Core, and later stellar and Black Hole developments, using the resulting energy for combat, speed, flight, flame, weapon refinement, and the Stellar Field. Stage transitions are dangerous because his path is incompletely mapped; after exhausting Lei Wei's guidance, advancement requires Qin Yu to design structures no previous manual guarantees will survive. (Chapters 58–79, 267–340)

The Black Hole and subsequent states deepen the mismatch between Qin Yu's apparent rank and actual capability. He can refine and circulate energy through a body and soul repeatedly transformed by cultivation, while observers who search for a conventional nascent soul misunderstand what they are measuring. That ambiguity supports ambush and escape, but it is not limitless concealment: experts with much greater soul power, formations that restrict movement, and enemies who attack faster than he can deploy a refuge still threaten him. Qin Yu compensates by combining his path with puppets, portable realms, allies, and careful preparation rather than relying on the cultivation label alone. (Chapters 302–415)

Stellar space and the New Cosmos

Meditation on cosmic motion during the Black Crow Star crisis leads Qin Yu toward a ninth stage that produces a distinct stellar space. This is not merely a larger storage technique. His soul becomes linked to a developing independent cosmos whose spatial energy can later be projected into the Divine Realm. The earliest state is incomplete and constrained by growth and effective reach, so Qin Yu must continue cultivation rather than assuming creation has made him omnipotent. The Universe stage nevertheless gives him an energy source and spatial framework outside the ordinary laws controlled by Divine Realm powers. (Chapters 410–427, 492–571)

As the New Cosmos matures, Qin Yu uses its spatial energy for teleportation, binding, storage, refuge, and destructive control of space. He later demonstrates Time Stop and combines domain control with Godking-level attacks, allowing him to limit an enemy's movement while striking with Waning Snow or allied force. These applications depend on his connection to the cosmos and on its progressive development; the corpus presents greater control as a consequence of new stages, not as retroactive unlimited mastery. By chapter 680, the cosmos is nearly complete and Qin Yu is in seclusion within it, giving him creator-level authority there while its final condition remains unfinished. (Chapters 538–680)

Array Path and artifact crafting

Chehou Yuan's nine hundred Array Path scrolls teach Qin Yu formations through ordered study and deduction. He learns to build trapping, illusion, and killing arrays, combine arrays into larger systems, and apply their principles to terrain, defense, imprisonment, and artifact refinement. The Universe formation links this discipline to the spatial understanding of his own cultivation. Formation work is powerful because it changes the conditions under which stronger opponents fight, but it requires knowledge, preparation, suitable materials, and correct construction; an array is not an unexplained instant effect available under every circumstance. (Chapters 485–567)

Crafting develops from Qin Yu's early forging into the discipline for which he becomes recognized as Craftsman God. Chehou Yuan's legacy and Uncle Fu's stewardship provide tools, records, and a technical starting point, while Qin Yu's own formations determine the effects he can embed in artifacts. Completing Waning Snow proves that he can produce and master a weapon worthy of upper-level conflict. The achievement is both professional and tactical: craftsmanship earns him standing in Divine Realm courts, while the resulting spear gives his spatial and overlapping-force attacks a durable focus in Godking combat. Soul growth, Stellar Field, and sensory control

The Meteoric Tear repeatedly nourishes Qin Yu's body and soul, while tribulations, meditation, and later cosmic linkage expand his awareness. The Stellar Field applies stellar energy around him for perception and control, supporting rapid movement and reactions when ordinary sight is insufficient. Soul refinements also help him operate formations, artifacts, and portable realms whose control thresholds exceed raw bodily strength. These senses are not infallible: opponents above his soul level can conceal themselves or exert superior pressure, and large formations or unfamiliar laws can restrict what he perceives and where he can move. Equipment-derived capabilities

The Meteoric Tear supplies healing and life energy that accelerate recovery and later contribute to profound bodily and soul changes; the healing is an artifact effect, not an innate property of external practice. Jiang Lan's Realm provides storage, refuge, time-dilated training, and layer-gated control, with each layer requiring Qin Yu to reach a new threshold. The Sword Immortal Puppet lets him project the Lan Feng persona and sword-immortal force, but its output consumes top-grade elemental spirit stones, making apparent rank dependent on a finite fuel supply. The Ten Thousand Beasts Atlas houses powerful residents, though their cooperation has conditions and Qin Yu does not treat them as mindless extensions of himself. The God Sealing Pagoda can capture and confine Heavenly Deities, giving his formations and organization a means to convert victory into controlled detention. The Divine Spear Waning Snow is his principal late weapon, combining his crafted design, spear skill, overlapping force, and New Cosmos spatial control; the corpus establishes the interaction through use rather than making the spear the source of his cosmic authority. • Jiang Li: Li'er heals and befriends Qin Yu beneath the ocean, becomes his beloved, and later chooses marriage with him against Floating Snow City's political judgment.
