Ao Wuming

Ao Wuming is a prince of the Dragon Clan, the Dragon Emperor's younger son, and a level-seven Demon Emperor super divine beast. He enters the story by protecting Jun Luoyu, Jiang Yan, and Qin Yu in his own name rather than invoking clan policy. That independent loyalty becomes the basis of a candid friendship with Qin Yu and later lets him mediate within his divided family.

Biography

Protection and friendship

Ao Wuming confronts Zhi Bai and Xue Yileng when they corner Jun Luoyu, Jiang Yan, and Qin Yu on Blue Flame Star. The Dragon Clan is officially neutral in the surrounding power struggle, so he explicitly says he acts for himself and refuses to abandon his friends. He fights both level-seven Emperor opponents together, forces them to concede, and then treats the rescue as a trivial matter. Instead of demanding repayment, he invites Qin Yu and Jun Luoyu to drink with him for three days and three nights. (Chapters 343–344)

At Wuming Dragon Mansion, Ao Wuming accepts Qin Yu's real appearance as a sign of trust and speaks without the guarded formality expected of a prince. He travels with Qin Yu and Jun Luoyu, shares information about the upper realms, and continues to call Qin Yu his brother even after their paths separate. When Qin Yu later asks for help locating Zong Jue, Ao Wuming immediately places the Dragon Clan's information network at his disposal rather than calculating what political return the favor might bring. Brother and heir

Ao Wuming's loyalty is tested inside his own family when the Dragon Emperor asks for contact with his estranged elder son, Ao Wuxu. Wuming worries that revealing Ao Wuxu's location will betray his brother, yet also knows their father regrets the past and may soon ascend. He first meets Ao Wuxu alone, embraces him without reservation, listens to the grievances that drove him from the clan, and then tries to arrange a father-son meeting rather than dismissing either side's pain. (Chapters 393–397)

The reunion does not produce easy forgiveness: Ao Wuxu recounts years of contempt and ultimately returns to Jiang Lan's Realm. Even so, Ao Wuming's intervention lets father and son speak before the Dragon Emperor's ascent and preserves the one family bond Ao Wuxu still values. Wuming thereafter remains beside his father as the acknowledged future Dragon Emperor, but his position does not erase his personal alliances. At the Cyan Emperor's gathering, he openly maintains his friendship with Qin Yu and reacts with hostility when the Peng Demon Emperor's interests threaten that friend. (Chapters 397–425)

Appearance and personality

Ao Wuming has radiant golden hair, bright tiger-like eyes, and a forceful presence intensified by the golden spear carried on his back. He is sociable, forthright, fond of strong drink, and markedly less formal than his rank suggests. His confidence can become battle eagerness, yet he knows the political cost of killing opponents backed by major emperors. In private he is stubbornly affectionate: he defends his marriage to Lian Zhu, worries over Ao Wuxu, and offers help to Qin Yu before asking what it will cost. (Chapters 343–345, 393–397)

Abilities and cultivation

Super-divine-beast battle forms

At level-seven Demon Emperor, Ao Wuming can already withstand the combined assault of the level-seven Green Blood Sword Immortal Zhi Bai and White Haired Blood Devil Xue Yileng. His ordinary human form defeats their binding field and sword attacks with the Absolute Piercer Spear Technique's defensive “Attack Refusal,” then meets Zhi Bai's blade quickly enough to crack the surrounding space. The two opponents use roughly ninety percent of their strength without overcoming him. (Chapter 343)

Ao Wuming can reveal an enormous golden-dragon body and compress that power into a Battle Mode Human Form covered in golden scales. This form keeps the dragon body's energy while eliminating the burden of its thousand-li size, making him at least twice as strong as in ordinary human form. Zhi Bai and Xue Yileng surrender as soon as he assumes it. His superiority is not license for reckless pursuit: Ao Wuming lets them leave because killing agents of the Immortal and Devil realms could unite those powers against the Demon Realm. Absolute Piercer

Ao Wuming's golden spear is named Absolute Piercer. He combines it with inherited dragon strength and refined spear techniques rather than relying on the weapon's name as proof of limitless penetration. The spear's demonstrated effects include collapsing a domain of blood-infused hair and sword rays, intercepting a divine sword at extreme speed, and producing space distortions that lower-level observers cannot follow. The corpus does not show it overcoming every defense, and Ao Wuming does not use it against opponents far above his own level. (Chapter 343)

Relationships

• Qin Yu: Ao Wuming saves Qin Yu before knowing him well, then welcomes his trust and treats him as a brother. He later supplies information, invitations, and public friendship despite Qin Yu's conflicts with other imperial powers.
• Ao Wuxu: His estranged elder brother. Ao Wuming is the only member of the Dragon Clan whom Ao Wuxu remembers as a genuine companion, and he becomes the intermediary for the painful meeting with their father.
• Jun Luoyu: A friend whom Ao Wuming protects against two imperial pursuers, even when doing so requires separating his personal choice from Dragon Clan policy.
• Jiang Yan: A younger friend who trusts him as “big brother Wuming.” Her safety is one of the reasons he intervenes on Blue Flame Star, and she later stays with his wife in Wuming Dragon Mansion.
• Dragon Emperor: His father and sovereign. Ao Wuming challenges him over both Lian Zhu and Ao Wuxu, yet remains loyal to the clan and is prepared to inherit the imperial office.
