Bewitching God Temple

The Bewitching God Temple is Chehou Yuan's crafted inheritance complex: a spatially expanded temple whose palaces preserve his weapons, materials, knowledge, transfer routes, and artifact-crafting legacy. It functions both as a location that can be entered and as an artifact that its master can shrink and carry.

History

Acquisition, use, and later custody

Qin Yu reaches the temple through the Dark Star Realm route and discovers Chehou Yuan's hidden message in the Front Palace. That discovery makes him Chehou Yuan's sole candidate-successor and qualifies him to claim Waning Snow, but it does not immediately give him the temple or its sealed inheritance. Uncle Fu remains the complex's housekeeper while Qin Yu meets the conditions for the Artifacts Palace and obtains access to its core. (Chapters 430–485)

The temple has four principal palaces: the Front Palace, Transfer Palace, Artifacts Palace, and Refining Flames Palace. The Transfer Palace contains stabilized routes to distant cosmic spaces. The Artifacts Palace holds materials, completed treasures, and the Refining Flame Wristband; the Refining Flames Palace preserves Chehou Yuan's forging mastery and tools. After Qin Yu fully refines the wristband—the core made from nine Purple Origin Flame Beads—he gains control of the entire temple, can shrink it into the wristband, and is acknowledged by Uncle Fu as its new master. He thereafter draws on its archive, facilities, and material stores during his rise as the new Craftsman God, and retains control through the end of the scoped corpus. (Chapters 458–675)

Abilities and properties

  • Its interior is spatially expanded far beyond its external dimensions and divided into specialized palaces, rooms, gardens, stores, and inheritance spaces. (Chapters 430–495)
  • The Transfer Palace maintains fixed channels to named cosmic spaces, while the Artifacts and Refining Flames palaces preserve Chehou Yuan's resources and craft tradition. These stores are finite holdings, not a self-renewing supply. (Chapters 458–521)
  • Successorship, access, and control are separate thresholds. Finding Chehou Yuan's message selects Qin Yu as the candidate and grants the spear, but the sealed palaces have additional strength, flame, and formation requirements; only complete refinement of the core wristband transfers control of the whole complex. (Chapters 457–486)
  • Owning the temple does not automatically confer Chehou Yuan's skill. Qin Yu must study the scrolls, experiment with arrays, and practice artifact crafting before he can claim the Craftsman God title.
