Yi Feng

Yi Feng is an independent Godking associated with Jiang Lan and Zuo Qiumei. Initially the secluded master of Bamboo Forest Island, he later risks his life for Jiang Li, entrusts himself to Qin Yu's cause, and becomes one of Purple Mystic Mansion's senior Godking allies.

Biography

Keeper of Bamboo Forest Island

Qin Yu first meets Yi Feng as the withdrawn master of Bamboo Forest Island, where the Mirage Spirit Mirror is used to test the Utmost North Sage Emperor's groom candidates. Yi Feng resents Jiang Fan and Zhou Huo because of old grievances surrounding Zuo Qiumei, yet he refuses to transfer that hatred to their children. His interest in Qin Yu begins with the younger man's exceptional formation knowledge, but he remains an independent observer until a later crisis forces a choice. (Chapters 586–589)

A life risked for Zuo Qiumei's legacy

When six Sage Emperors corner Qin Yu and the pregnant Jiang Li, Yi Feng intervenes with Vast Territory and holds the entire coalition for roughly ten breaths, suffering injury while ordering the couple to escape. He explains that Jiang Li carries Zuo Qiumei's legacy and was worth dying to protect. After Qin Yu brings him into the New Cosmos and demonstrates power capable of opposing the sacred lands, Yi Feng commits to helping avenge Zuo Qiumei and becomes a permanent elder of the emerging Purple Mystic power. (Chapters 620–623, 629)

Yi Feng later enters the Exalted Celestial Mountain contest alongside Jiang Lan and Zuo Qiulin, but his attachment to Qin Yu's family outweighs the competition: he leaves the mountain when Jiang Li is due to give birth. He remains part of the household through the final struggle, acting as a trusted uncle rather than merely a military recruit. (Chapters 637–639, 669–680)

Appearance and personality

Yi Feng is extremely thin and has a morbidly pale face. His dry humor and apparent detachment conceal fixed loyalties: he can put aside inherited factional hatred, refuse a priceless gift he does not need, and stake his life without hesitation when Zuo Qiumei's surviving legacy is threatened. (Chapters 586, 620, 623)

Abilities and cultivation

Godking spatial law

Yi Feng can teleport and shape space as a Godking, and Bamboo Forest Island itself is concealed within the domain of his spatial spiritual treasure. These abilities let him enter or leave distant confrontations and coordinate with other Godkings, but they do not give him Qin Yu's independence from the Divine Realm's laws or protection against the authority of an Exalted Celestial. (Chapters 586, 620–621, 680)

Vast Territory

Vast Territory is Yi Feng's first-rate Grandmist Spiritual Treasure. When deployed, it creates an immense bamboo-filled domain that ordinary Godkings cannot escape, allowing him to trap rather than directly injure opponents. Against six Sage Emperors acting together, it buys Qin Yu and Jiang Li about ten breaths before the coalition breaks through and Yi Feng is left bleeding. Yi Feng explicitly describes the treasure as non-offensive, making control its strength and a determined superior coalition its demonstrated limit. (Chapters 620, 623)
