Jiang Li

Jiang Li, usually called Li'er, is a daughter of Floating Snow City's ruling Jiang family and the lifelong partner of Qin Yu. She first lives incognito in an undersea ravine with Jiang Lan, where her healing arts and music make her a quiet refuge from the violence of the cultivation world. Her choice of Qin Yu over her family's political plans eventually makes her a founder of the independent household at Purple Mystic Mansion.

Biography

The healer in the hidden ravine

Li'er finds the critically injured Qin Yu and carries him to the protected bamboo house where she lives with Jiang Lan. Although the Meteoric Tear has already begun restoring him, she neither tries to take his secret nor treats his caution as an insult. Her composed welcome, healing work among the ravine's creatures, and music give a hunted stranger a place where he can recover without having to fight for every moment of safety. (Chapters 112–114)

During Qin Yu's three-year stay, Li'er repeatedly demonstrates care as a daily practice rather than a single rescue: she mends severe wounds with green light, protects the ravine's residents from Hou Fei's roughness, and plays music that steadies Qin Yu's mind. Their reserve slowly gives way to familiarity. When he finally leaves, she respects his need to face danger and accepts his revelation of his real name, while the quiet bond formed there becomes difficult for either of them to dismiss. Friendship deepens into a shared promise

When Qin Yu returns to the ravine, Li'er openly drops the formal distance between them and asks him to call her simply Li'er. Over another half year, their conversations and games of chess turn mutual interest into sustained companionship: she teases him, teaches him, and looks forward to his return even when duty takes him back to the Blood-red Cave. Her disappointment at his departure shows that the attachment has become reciprocal before either of them declares it. (Chapters 138–140)

Li'er later travels with Qin Yu, Hou Fei, and Hei Yu, encouraging Qin Yu to visit his homeland and entering his family life without demanding a formal place in it. Qin Yu brings her to Xiao Lu because he trusts her healing to restore a severed arm; she also evaluates Hei Yu's dangerous mutated tribulation and warns Qin Yu that his own tribulation will be unusually severe, even though revealing that clan calculation breaks her family's rules. These choices make her both an affectionate companion and a practical protector. (Chapters 160–185)

Inside the immortal mansion, Li'er uses her music to counter the hallucinatory flute, keeps Qin Yu within the protected range, and later uses the threat of an Ice-devouring Lightning Talisman to secure their faction's share without a needless fight. After the expedition, she and Qin Yu travel together in ordinary mortal cities until Zhou Xian arrives with her father's written order. To keep Qin Yu from being killed, she publicly minimizes their relationship while privately promising that she will wait and resist any other marriage. (Chapters 195–221)

The groom search and an open choice

After a long separation, Jiang Lan brings Qin Yu to Floating Snow City, where Li'er and Qin Yu immediately recognize one another through the responding Soul Tears within them. Their reunion confirms that neither has abandoned the relationship. When Jiang Lan presents elopement or an open groom search as the available paths, Li'er is willing to leave, but Qin Yu understands that doing so would cost her contact with her mother, sister, and home. She therefore supports his attempt to win openly while asking him not to endanger himself recklessly. (Chapters 556–559)

Li'er does not treat the groom search as a contest in which she has no voice. While Qin Yu completes the trials and prepares a betrothal gift, she quietly supports his work and then accompanies Jiang Lan to confront Jiang Fan. She tells her father that Qin Yu's ascent and accomplishments were undertaken to reach her, rejects Zhou Xian regardless of political advantage, and states without qualification that she will marry no one but Qin Yu. Her appeal fails to overcome Jiang Fan's desire for an Exalted Celestial opportunity, but it makes her own decision unmistakable. (Chapters 583–603)

When Jiang Fan nevertheless names Zhou Xian, Li'er accepts Qin Yu's invitation to leave even while surrounded by Godkings. Her consent allows him to carry her into his New Cosmos despite her father's spatial confinement, ending the groom search on her terms rather than Jiang Fan's. She leaves the security and household of Floating Snow City, joins Qin Yu's household, and marries him at Purple Mystic Mansion with Jiang Lan and Qin De standing as their guardians. The choice transforms her from a constrained princess into an active partner in an independent family. (Chapters 604–608)

Inheriting the life legacy

During their wedding night, Qin Yu transfers his Soul Tear of Life to Li'er, joining it with the tear she already carries. The two tears later begin a prolonged fusion with her Nascent Soul, forcing her into deep seclusion while Qin Yu waits without knowing the outcome. Li'er emerges with Zuo Qiumei's life memories, energy, and preserved understanding of the Divine Realm's spatial laws. By completing that inheritance rather than merely borrowing its effects, she becomes the new Godking of Life and gains the standing to face her family's enemies as Qin Yu's equal. (Chapters 608–617)

Li'er then participates in shaping the couple's response to the Eight Great Divine Families. She travels with Qin Yu to seek Yi Feng, draws on Zuo Qiumei's memories to recognize his history and treasure, and helps appeal to his loyalty. When six Sage Emperors surround the couple, she refuses Jiang Fan's demand that she return and destroy her unborn child. She blocks his first attack with Water Splitter and survives his accelerated follow-up through the Purple Rain Dress, affirming that her new family will not be surrendered to restore her old position. Purple Mystic Mansion and motherhood

As Purple Mystic Mansion becomes the center of an emerging power, Li'er remains involved in its purposes without being reduced to a combatant. She and Qin Yu plan around the safety of their unborn child, observe developments in the Divine Realm together, and share concern for separated friends such as Jiang Yan and Hou Fei. Her gentleness does not erase her firmness: the confrontation with Jiang Fan makes the protection of her child an explicit boundary, while her Godking status gives the household both a healer's inheritance and an independent source of strength. Li'er carries Qin Si for thirty-six thousand accelerated years and chooses his name with Qin Yu as a remembrance of their long separation. After his birth, she takes an attentive role in his early life while Purple Mystic Mansion passes through the Exalted Celestial conflict. By the conclusion she is mother to Qin Si and Qin Shuang, stands with the household when the Thunder Punishment Exalted Celestial threatens it, and then joins Qin Yu, Hei Yu, Hou Fei, and their wives in beginning life and civilization within the completed Qin Meng Cosmos. Appearance and personality

Li'er is introduced with long black hair, serene eyes, jade-bright skin, and an understated elegance rather than an overwhelming beauty. She favors simple blue or white clothing in the mortal realm and later appears in refined and ceremonial dress appropriate to a princess. After the Soul Tears of Life fuse with her, jade-green light moves through her hair and her eyes acquire a faint green cast, visibly recalling Zuo Qiumei's life inheritance. Her public manner is calm, compassionate, and perceptive, but intimacy reveals a playful streak: she enjoys defeating Qin Yu at chess, teases him about his pride, and becomes openly affectionate after their reunion. She remains gentle under pressure without becoming passive. Her refusal of the marriage chosen by Jiang Fan, defense of her unborn child, and warning to the Thunder Punishment Exalted Celestial show a loyalty that becomes most forceful when her family is threatened. Abilities and cultivation

Li'er begins with a deceptively low visible cultivation level, but her clan arts, protective treasures, and relationship to Zuo Qiumei's life energy make ordinary rankings unreliable. Her abilities develop from specialized healing and mental support into complete comprehension of the Divine Realm's spatial laws and the status of Godking of Life.

Healing light and life energy

In the mortal realm, Li'er releases green light through her body and hands to repair severe physical injuries, including a broken arm and wounds that leave creatures near death. The corpus demonstrates rapid restoration but does not explain an activation cost, range beyond direct proximity, or whether the early technique is innate, learned, or already powered by her Soul Tear. Her later fusion with both Soul Tears makes life energy a fundamental part of her Nascent Soul and causes nearby plants to grow under its overflow. (Chapters 113–114, 616)

The complete Soul Tears of Life preserve Zuo Qiumei's energy, soul knowledge, memories, and comprehension of the Divine Realm's spatial laws. Their fusion requires extended seclusion and cannot simply be treated as an instant combat transformation. Once absorbed, the inheritance enables Li'er to comprehend the spatial laws and attain Godking status; it also gives her direct knowledge of Zuo Qiumei's life. The story establishes this transfer clearly, while leaving the full limits of Li'er's inherited healing and life manipulation unexplored. (Chapters 608, 615–617)

Zither music and mental protection

Li'er's zither playing can calm agitation, support spiritual recovery, and shape a protected auditory space. In the immortal mansion's Hallucinatory Magic Land, green ripples from her playing cancel the hostile flute's red ripples, initially protecting a radius of roughly ten meters and then a five-meter moving area as she guides Qin Yu forward. Her relatively low power at the time limits the protective range, but within it the music directly counters an effect that overwhelms much stronger cultivators. (Chapters 112–115, 198)

Clan arts and spatial mastery

Before becoming a Godking, Li'er displays movement that seems to shorten distance, a clan calculation method that assesses the danger of a heavenly tribulation, effortless restraint of weaker beings, and the ability to open a spatial passage when returning home. Their common mechanism is not fully explained, and her warning about clan rules shows that some knowledge cannot be freely disclosed. These arts should therefore be treated as demonstrated effects rather than as proof that she already possessed complete spatial-law mastery in the mortal realm. (Chapters 140, 173, 185, 221)

After the Soul Tears fuse, Li'er completely comprehends the Divine Realm's spatial laws and becomes a Godking. This comprehension is the stated basis of her advancement, but those laws do not operate inside Qin Yu's New Cosmos. Her new status also does not give her Qin Yu's independent spatial energy or his later temporal control; her power remains rooted in Zuo Qiumei's preserved inheritance and the laws of the original cosmos. Defensive and combat equipment

Li'er's early protective treasure prevents experts below immortal strength from harming her, although its form and activation remain unrevealed. In the immortal mansion she uses an Ice-devouring Lightning Talisman as credible deterrence rather than expending it, then gives it to Qin Yu. Later, Water Splitter lets her block Jiang Fan's attack, while the Purple Rain Dress absorbs his accelerated strike without injuring her; both later defenses are equipment-derived rather than innate durability. • Qin Yu — Li'er's confidant, husband, and partner in forming Purple Mystic Mansion. Their mutual loyalty survives forced separation, a political groom search, and war with the Sage Emperors.
