Huangfu Yu, the Utmost East Sage Emperor, rules Mount Dazzling Gold and its sixty-four cities. He is both an early patron of Qin Yu's rise as an artifact craftsman and, later, one of the Sage Emperors whose family and political obligations place him in conflict with Qin Yu's household.

Biography

After Huangfu Jing recruits Qin Yu, Huangfu Yu receives him personally and treats the formation grandmaster as a prospective asset rather than a subordinate to be confined. He gives Qin Yu a mansion and more than a thousand artifact-crafting scrolls, allows him broad freedom, and supports his candidacy for the Misty Mystic Palace. Huangfu Yu later watches Qin Yu craft and accepts Ou Yezi's favorable judgment, helping turn an outsider into the publicly recognized new Craftsman God while strengthening Mount Dazzling Gold. Patronage under political strain

Huangfu Yu's generosity does not erase his duties as a Sage Emperor. He remains cordial after Qin Yu rejects a possible marriage into the Huangfu family, and Qin Yu promises continued help to Mount Dazzling Gold. Much later, however, Huangfu Yu joins four other Sage Emperors in attacking Jiang Lan after Jiang Lan kills Huangfu Yu's younger sister. When Qin Yu intervenes, Huangfu Yu invokes their earlier favor and proposes a compromise over the Living World Seal portions, showing that he tries negotiation only after clan loyalty has already brought the former patron and protégé onto opposing sides. Appearance and personality

Huangfu Yu appears as a gentle-looking middle-aged man in a soft golden gown. He is welcoming, materially generous, and willing to recognize talent, but his warmth operates inside the obligations of a ruling family; grief and Sage Emperor solidarity can override his personal regard for Qin Yu. Abilities and cultivation

Sage Emperor origin energy

As the Utmost East Sage Emperor, Huangfu Yu can contribute his family's origin energy to a coordinated Sage Emperor attack. When five emperors combine their differently colored blade rays, the strike gravely wounds Jiang Lan. The feat is explicitly collective rather than Huangfu Yu's alone: against Qin Yu's New Cosmos spatial restraint, the emperors require the resonance of all eight clan-protection spiritual pearls to break free, and they still cannot overpower Qin Yu on his own terms.
