Uncle Fu is the sentient puppet-housekeeper created by Chehou Yuan to guard the Bewitching God Temple and guide its qualified successor. Once Qin Yu earns control of the temple, Uncle Fu becomes his administrator, technical adviser, and eventually the housekeeper of Purple Mystic Mansion.

Biography

Custodian of Chehou Yuan's inheritance

Uncle Fu first approaches Qin Yu in the form of a kindly old housekeeper after the younger man reaches the Bewitching God Temple's inner courtyard. He identifies Qin Yu as Chehou Yuan's sole successor because Qin Yu opened the recorded message, but carefully distinguishes succession from ownership. He explains the temple's Front, Transfer, Artifacts, and Refining Flames Palaces, the thresholds protecting them, and the purpose of the Divine Spear Waning Snow, allowing Qin Yu to claim only what Chehou Yuan's instructions presently authorize. (Chapters 458–459)

Qin Yu initially mistakes Uncle Fu's undetectable aura for overwhelming cultivation. Uncle Fu instead reveals that he has no soul: Chehou Yuan crafted him as a high-level puppet with humanlike intelligence and emotion. His body is as durable as a high-quality Heavenly Divine Artifact, yet he cannot cultivate, comprehend spatial law, teleport, or resist a mid-level Heavenly Deity's spatial control. This combination of near-human judgment and fixed metaphysical limits explains why he is an exceptional custodian without being a concealed peak combatant. (Chapter 460)

Transfer to Qin Yu's service

Before Qin Yu can take the temple, Uncle Fu remains an exacting guide rather than a servant who waives the rules. He directs Qin Yu through the Artifacts Palace and explains that artifact mastery depends on materials, flame control, carving, and especially formation arrays. He identifies the Array Path Nine Hundred Scrolls as the foundation of Chehou Yuan's inheritance and stresses that the successor's first comprehension must be deep rather than merely fast. Only after Qin Yu completely refines the temple's core wristband does Uncle Fu bow and recognize him as his new master. (Chapters 484–486)

The change of master does not erase Uncle Fu's dignity or Chehou Yuan's intentions. When he asks to be called the servant-name A'Fu, Qin Yu orders that “Uncle Fu” remain his form of address, moving the puppet enough to tears. Uncle Fu then uses a conveying array he built during his long vigil to lead Qin Yu safely out of the temple. He continues to execute the old master's delayed instructions, releasing advanced formation scrolls only after Qin Yu reaches the required level and evaluating Qin Yu's progress without flattering him. Adviser and housekeeper

Uncle Fu makes the inheritance usable in daily life. He installs offensive, defensive, and illusion barriers around the Qingyu Immortal Mansion to protect Qin Yu's family, organizes divine stones and training schedules inside Jiang Lan's Realm, and explains artifacts, materials, souls, and Divine Realm institutions from his long experience beside Chehou Yuan. When Qin Yu's elaborate Mount Bewitch You array collapses under real conditions, Uncle Fu identifies the lesson precisely: deduction describes an ideal system, whereas complicated formations must be tested because one disrupted layer can compromise the whole. As Qin Yu's standing rises, Uncle Fu becomes the stable administrative presence behind it. He accompanies him to Dazzling Gold City and Floating Snow City, receives visitors, supervises subordinates, and offers advice without pretending to political expertise he does not possess—for local marriage strategy, he explicitly directs Qin Yu to Jiang Lan. He later manages household occasions and the growing Purple Mystic establishment, translating Qin Yu's collection of treasures, servants, and specialists into an orderly residence rather than functioning as an independent commander. Chehou Yuan's eventual arrival at Purple Mystic Mansion completes rather than reverses this transfer of loyalty. Uncle Fu recognizes his “old master” immediately despite the craftsman's changed Godking aura and runs to Qin Yu with uncharacteristic excitement. He still asks Qin Yu's permission before admitting Chehou Yuan and then waits upon the reunion as the mansion's housekeeper. His reverence for his creator survives intact, but his present place is equally clear: he serves Qin Yu's household using the purpose and knowledge Chehou Yuan gave him. (Chapters 673–675)

Appearance and personality

Uncle Fu has the appearance of a kindly elderly housekeeper and ordinarily wears a respectful smile. He is patient with questions, meticulous about inherited conditions, and quietly proud of Chehou Yuan's craftsmanship. Because his emotions are genuine despite his artificial origin, Qin Yu's insistence on treating him as an elder rather than calling him A'Fu has lasting importance.

His loyalty is procedural without being mechanical. He does not surrender sealed property early, suppress unwelcome technical judgments, or claim knowledge he lacks. At the same time, he shows humor, curiosity, pride, embarrassment, and profound joy when Chehou Yuan returns. Those reactions make his service a chosen personal identity built upon his creator's commands, not just the output of a temple control system. (Chapters 458–460, 486, 507, 673–674)

Abilities and cultivation

Constructed body and fixed limits

Chehou Yuan fashioned Uncle Fu's body to the durability of a high-quality Heavenly Divine Artifact and supplied it with humanlike intelligence and emotion. The body is powered by Divine Spiritual Crystal Essence rather than cultivation. Without a soul, Uncle Fu cannot improve his realm, comprehend spatial laws, teleport, or counter a mid-level Heavenly Deity's spatial restraint; companions must sometimes extend a Spatial Domain to let him fly with them. His resilience therefore supports stewardship and technical work, not peer combat against the Divine Realm's leading experts. (Chapters 460, 486, 550, 570)

Temple authority and artifact knowledge

While Chehou Yuan is absent, Uncle Fu administers the Bewitching God Temple, can admit an authorized successor, and understands its palace mechanisms, transfer channels, barriers, material stores, and inheritance conditions. He identifies artifact qualities and functions, including the Divine Spear Waning Snow and God Sealing Pagoda, but he does not override Chehou Yuan's locks or grant ownership himself. His authority is custodial: control passes to Qin Yu only when Qin Yu refines the temple core and satisfies the designed tests. (Chapters 458–460, 484–486, 495)

Formation arrays and applied administration

Uncle Fu remembers the Array Path scrolls in detail, wrote more than ten thousand scrolls of his own commentary, and reaches the fifth level under Chehou Yuan's classification despite being unable to form the soul-comprehension that would let him cultivate normally. He creates conveying arrays and Divine Realm-grade offensive, defensive, and illusion barriers, critiques Qin Yu's experimental arrays, and catalogs resources with exceptional precision. His expertise remains empirical and inherited rather than limitless: he openly distinguishes theory from field results and redirects questions outside his political knowledge. Relationships

  • Chehou Yuan: Creator and “old master.” Uncle Fu preserves his inheritance exactly and retains deep affection and reverence for him after entering another household.
  • Qin Yu: Qualified successor and current master. Qin Yu treats him as a respected elder, while Uncle Fu turns the Bewitching God Temple's knowledge and systems into sustained practical support.
