About the novel

Archean Eon Art follows Meng Chuan, a saber prodigy from Eastcalm Prefecture whose childhood is marked by his mother's apparent death during a demon attack. He trains to become a Godfiend capable of defending humanity, using painting to discipline his mind and preserve the people and moments that give his struggle meaning. His partnership with Liu Qiyue connects that public duty to a lifelong family bond.

Archean Mountain's war against invading demons expands from city defenses and underground campaigns to the wider River of Spacetime. Meng Chuan grows into a guardian whose responsibility extends beyond the people he can personally see, yet he refuses paths based on predation or disregard for ordinary lives. The story links artistic perception, self-created techniques, and family commitments to increasingly cosmic cultivation.

World and cultivation

Humanity survives behind defended cities while Godfiends patrol territory, respond to breaches, and contest demon access to the Archean Eon Realm. Sects such as Archean Mountain select and train candidates using resources, legacies, divine bodies, and battlefield experience. Specialized Godfiends serve as scouts, archers, defenders, and attackers, making cooperation essential during a war fought across many simultaneous fronts.

Cultivation develops body, true essence, Essence Soul, technique realms, and personal insight. Divine bodies and bloodlines provide powerful foundations, but they also have distinctive requirements and costs, as seen in Liu Qiyue's phoenix inheritance. Beyond the home realm, Tribulation Eminences and outer-realm organizations operate across the River of Spacetime, where original formulations and comprehension become more important than inherited instruction.
