Grotto-Heaven Magic Bead

The Grotto-Heaven Magic Bead is a portable small grotto-heaven entrusted to Meng Chuan by Archean Mountain. Its enclosed world gives him storage space on a strategic scale, while its Grotto-Heaven Origins energy twice becomes a direct resource for his physical cultivation.

History

A sect treasure becomes a mobile base

Archean Mountain grants the bead to Meng Chuan when his underground reconnaissance makes ordinary transport increasingly impractical. The world inside spans roughly 250 kilometers, allowing him to store demon corpses, spoils, supplies, demon servants, and living companions. In return for such an exceptional inheritance, the sect treats his future Patroller contributions as already compensated for a set period. (Chapters 256 and 262–264)

Meng Chuan soon uses the bead as more than a warehouse. It carries rescued Godfiends and supports large movements of people, although moving an entire prefecture's population through its entrance would still take considerable time. Its independent interior also lets him bring companions into situations where their slower travel would otherwise be a liability. (Chapters 268–271)

Origins energy fuels two transformations

The bead's Origins energy naturally nourishes Meng Chuan's particle-based body, accelerating cultivation beyond what his Darkstar Quintessential Essence alone can provide. Much later, the suction produced by his forming Chaos Hole body becomes so extreme that he draws roughly half of the bead's Origins energy in seconds. The treasure is not destroyed: after the breakthrough it returns to the edge of his transformed dantian, and he later continues using it to carry Supremacy Qing Gu through the River of Spacetime. Abilities and properties

The bead contains a stable pocket world approximately 250 kilometers across. Its capacity supports bulk storage far beyond a normal spatial item and can accommodate living beings, corpses, treasures, and large quantities of supplies. Entry and exit are not instantaneous at population scale, so it is useful for evacuation without making logistical constraints disappear. (Chapters 262–271)

Grotto-Heaven Origins energy is the foundation of the enclosed world and can also be absorbed as cultivation fuel. Meng Chuan's body initially takes it in gradually, but his Chaos Hole breakthrough consumes about half the reserve with extraordinary speed. That expenditure reduces the stored energy rather than collapsing the bead, and its later use as living transport confirms that the interior remains functional. (Chapters 258 and 486–502)

The bead is primarily a support treasure. It does not itself provide an attack, and carrying allies inside does not let them act until released. Its main interactions are with Meng Chuan's mobility and body cultivation: he can move a base's worth of people and materiel at his own speed, while his unusual physique can draw directly on the world's energy. Its latest explicit state is intact and in his possession, with Qing Gu housed inside during outer-realm travel. (Chapters 271 and 486–502)
