Spacetime Token

The Spacetime Token is an amber-colored rare treasure refined by Dragon Ancestor from a pocket universe. It gives Meng Chuan a powerful spacetime domain, near-instant travel across the River of Spacetime, and an exceptional platform for observing and studying spacetime.

History

A trial reward survives an immediate ambush

After Meng Chuan clears the Nine Trials Pagoda's second trial, the pagoda's guardian offers him a choice of three treasures. He selects the Spacetime Token because it directly covers his weakness in long-distance travel and can later guide his temporal-law studies. Infusing it with Power of Essence Soul exposes the pocket universe's miniature River of Spacetime and the 9,999 runic chains that control it. (Chapters 677–678)

Darkstar Guild attacks almost immediately after Meng leaves the pagoda. Meng uses the token's domain to annihilate the attacking team, seize their array treasure, and delay Guild Master Darkstar's crushing strike. He prepares to reveal the token's secret escape function, but Fiend Eye intervenes first. Meng then returns the token to Archean Eon Realm, keeping it safe from further attempts to seize it. A refined miniature River of Spacetime

Dragon Ancestor refined a lifeless pocket universe roughly the size of a river system into the token. Its incomplete miniature River of Spacetime is controlled by 9,999 chains of runes. Only a cultivator who has grasped the spatial law can operate it, and its amber body appears to contain a vast galaxy. (Chapter 678)

Domain, travel, and current use

The token can release a Spacetime Domain comparable to a Seventh Tribulation domain, stabilizing and suppressing an enormous region. It can also carry its wielder anywhere in the River of Spacetime in one step; blocking that escape requires the complete laws of time and space or an Eternal treasure. Some Eighth Tribulation spacetime barriers remain opaque even to its perception, and its domain cannot defeat a powerful Seventh Tribulation attack head-on. As Meng's realm grows, he also uses the token to monitor distant regions and transmit his strength across spacetime. It remains active with his homeworld true body in the latest chapters.
