Han Xiao

Han Xiao, best known as Black Star, is a former Galaxy player who awakens inside the game's world before its public launch. Beginning as Germinal's amnesiac test subject Zero, he turns his retained interface and knowledge of the former timeline into a means of survival, then progressively assumes responsibility for Planet Aquamarine, the Black Star Army, the Beyond Grade A community, and ultimately the continued existence of his universe.

Biography

Escape from Germinal and the Aquamarine War

Han Xiao awakens on a Germinal laboratory table in the body of test subject Zero, with only fragments of the body's memories and his own recollection of Galaxy. The interface identifies him as an NPC and gives him a countdown to the players' arrival, but he treats death as permanent rather than assuming that he can respawn. When Germinal prepares to brainwash him, he refuses to wait passively: he studies machinery under observation, unlocks the Mechanic class, and uses the organization's belief that he is a valuable experiment to buy time. Survival is his immediate goal, yet his escape already establishes his characteristic method—turn partial information, an enemy's expectations, and whatever tools are available into an asymmetric advantage. (Chapters 1–11)

Outside the base, he initially wants distance from Germinal, but the murder of the wanderers who shelter him makes the conflict personal. He modifies their rifle, ambushes the pursuing test-subject squad, and chooses revenge even though fleeing would be safer. In Stardragon he conceals his identity, builds a livelihood through Old Man Lu's workshop, and eventually trades his knowledge and technical value for a place in Division 13. As the covert operative Black Phantom, he helps attack Germinal facilities while preserving the separate identity of Zero; his caution is not passivity, but a way to operate against an organization that has more soldiers, intelligence, and political reach than he does. The arrival of the players gives Han Xiao a constituency that existing powers barely understand. He sells equipment and class instruction, issues missions, cultivates followers such as Frenzied Sword, and uses their growth both to accelerate his own and to extend his influence beyond any single state. At the same time, he works with Bennett and the Dark Net, infiltrates Germinal, extracts the intelligence that changes the war, and rescues Aurora from the organization. Revealing that Zero and Black Phantom are the same person destroys Germinal's preferred account of its enemy and turns his private rebellion into a public symbol of its defeat. His reunion with Hila is correspondingly uneasy: she began as his captor and fought for Germinal under coercion, while he has now saved the sister whose captivity controlled her. (Chapters 89–282)

Germinal's fall does not leave Han Xiao content with planetary fame. Kerlodd's arrival confirms that Aquamarine is exposed to a much larger galactic order, while Han Xiao knows that later disasters will exceed what the planet can resist alone. He spends the stable period converting his reputation into resources, training players, and making arrangements for those he is leaving behind. Rather than wait for the next crisis, he secures passage through Kerlodd and chooses to enter galactic society, accepting the risk of beginning again as an unknown because growth there is the best protection he can provide for himself and Aquamarine. The Black Star Mercenary Group

Han Xiao reaches the galaxy with little money or standing, but with a clear plan to turn the players following him into the basis of a mobile force. He registers the Black Star Mercenary Group, takes work that can build both credibility and contacts, and seeks opportunities where his prior knowledge can compensate for the group's limited scale. On Sunil, the civilization's recurring catastrophe and Herlous's responsibility toward his people give Han Xiao more than a job: by offering Herlous a way to earn resources and pursue a long-term solution, he gains a powerful officer whose loyalty is tied to the group's usefulness rather than empty promises. (Chapters 311–370)

The group's encounter with Floating Dragon changes Han Xiao's place in galactic society. He navigates the island's factions, acquires the materials needed for stronger machinery, and comes to the attention of Ames, whose strength could protect the still-fragile mercenary group. Becoming part of Floating Dragon gives him a political shelter, but he does not dissolve his own ambitions into Ames's organization. He continues building an independent reputation as Black Star, withstands battles that repeatedly destroy or exhaust his machinery, and treats every loss as evidence for the next design rather than proof that a Mechanic should avoid direct danger. (Chapters 371–430)

Han Xiao also begins turning former adversaries and vulnerable people into durable members of his organization. He helps Feidin resolve the struggle over his body, brings Aroshia into the group while acknowledging that her origin remains unknown, and takes Sylvia—the daughter of an enemy who tried to kill him—as a student rather than punishing her indefinitely for that loyalty. During a hostage rescue, he uses Sylvia as a deliberately placed locator while Herlous supplies the force needed to board the pirates, demonstrating how his command increasingly depends on understanding the distinct capabilities of his officers. These relationships give the mercenary group continuity beyond hired players and make Han Xiao responsible for people whose futures he has personally redirected. (Chapters 431–490)

The DarkStar conflict tests whether that growing organization can survive consequences larger than a single contract. Han Xiao cooperates with Godora and DarkStar defectors, protects his people through ambushes and exchanges, and gains the Blacklight Stealth, a ship that greatly improves the group's ability to infiltrate, deploy, and escape. By the time he establishes a permanent base on Planet Golden Gate, the Black Star name represents an institution rather than only an individual fighter. The transformation brings new obligations: contracts, logistics, officer development, and the safety of subordinates now matter alongside his own advancement, setting the foundation for the Black Star Army. (Chapters 491–506)

Mutation Disaster and the Secret War

The Mutation Disaster forces Han Xiao to act on a warning he has carried since before leaving Aquamarine. His foreknowledge identifies DarkStar's mutation source as a civilizational threat earlier than local authorities could, so he sends intelligence to Godora, returns with galactic resources, and coordinates relief rather than merely profiting from the chaos. He mobilizes players as rescue and combat manpower, works with Bennett's government, and pursues the source behind the disease. The intervention changes the disaster from the ruin he remembers: Aquamarine survives with far less devastation, and Black Star becomes not just its famous emigrant but the protector who returned when the planet could not save itself. (Chapters 507–560)

Destroying the mutation source and defeating DarkStar bring prestige, recruits, and political capital, but Han Xiao consistently reinvests those gains in his force. He expands his officer corps, strengthens the army's technical and transport capacity, and keeps Aquamarine within a wider network of protection. His treatment of Hila and Aurora illustrates the change in his responsibilities: he no longer sees them only through their tragic former-timeline outcomes, but gives them room to train and choose their own paths while keeping the army available as a home. At the same time, the battles expose the unusual durability produced by his evolving body and energy-recovery talents, allowing him to accept risks that would normally make a Mechanic's unarmored body the decisive weakness. When the Secret War begins between Purple Crystal and Klent, Han Xiao chooses Purple Crystal's side because the conflict offers the Black Star Army a defensible place in the Colton Star Cluster and a route to greater strength. That decision puts him against Bloodshed Land and Heber, whose established power dwarfs the army's at the start. Han Xiao responds by integrating players into the war, contesting strategic locations, and using his own growth and reputation to make attacks on Black Star increasingly expensive. His goal is not battlefield glory alone: victory secures territory, contracts, and the organizational legitimacy needed for the army to stop depending on Floating Dragon's protection. The war also demonstrates the limits of Han Xiao's prior knowledge. Psyker's intervention and other deviations were not part of the history he remembers, and enemy plans increasingly react to Black Star rather than following the old storyline. He prepares contingencies instead of trusting a fixed script, uses his officers and intelligence network to reverse traps, and returns to battle after periods of concentrated advancement. By the war's later campaigns, even players who remember his early Aquamarine days recognize that he has become overwhelmingly stronger. The army emerges as Purple Crystal's principal field force, while Han Xiao approaches the threshold at which the galactic powers must treat him as a potential Beyond Grade A rather than a talented subordinate. The Evolution Cube and Crimson Dynasty

The contest over the Evolution Cube draws Han Xiao into conflicts among Psyker, EsGod, and the universal civilizations. He wants the Cube both for its transformative value and because leaving it in hostile hands preserves threats that he knows will become worse. He uses the disorder around the confrontation to obtain it, survives opponents beyond his nominal grade, and then pushes through his level and racial promotions until Psyker recognizes that he is no longer merely a Beyond Grade A seed. Reaching Beyond Grade A makes the Black Star Army a hegemonic organization and gives Han Xiao the personal deterrence he had spent years building toward. (Chapters 725–776)

Han Xiao then allies with the Crimson Dynasty, accepting obligations in exchange for advanced knowledge, political support, and territory in the coming Flickering World development. The choice gives the army access to the central stage of galactic politics without transferring control of the army or Cube to the dynasty. He uses the Cube on Aquamarine's population and later develops Evolutionary Totems, making it simultaneously a public benefit, a strategic technology, and the basis of an enormous business. His partnership with the dynasty is therefore practical rather than submissive: he contributes military power but keeps ownership of assets essential to his organization's independence. (Chapters 777–826)

At Planet Lighthouse, the Arcane Church and EsGod attempt to seize the Cube. Han Xiao fights under extreme pressure, uses the Spacetime Amber to seal enemy Beyond Grade As, and preserves the Cube until dynasty reinforcements arrive. The result magnifies his reputation across the universe and changes how other peak fighters assess him: Black Star now possesses both the strength and equipment to permanently remove opponents from a battle. The cost is lasting hostility from the Arcane Church, but Han Xiao judges that deterrence and time to prepare for later dangers are worth that price. (Chapters 827–861)

He follows that victory by organizing a multinational operation against EsGod. Han Xiao's motive is larger than settling a rivalry: EsGod's research risks bringing the World Tree into contact with the explored universe earlier than in the history Han Xiao remembers. Working with fighters who do not necessarily trust him, he helps defeat EsGod and seals him in Spacetime Amber. Capturing rather than merely driving him away removes the Fallen Ark's leader, delays the discovery pathway Han Xiao fears, and establishes Black Star as a figure able to coordinate peers against a universal threat. (Chapters 862–895)

The Flickering World

The opening of the Flickering World lets Han Xiao convert his dynasty alliance into a territorial future for the army. He claims strategically valuable systems whose transport and commercial importance he remembers, accepts displaced populations such as the Kunde Race into his domain, and draws investment into infrastructure rather than treating exploration as simple plunder. This expansion makes the army a polity as well as a military organization. Han Xiao's decisions create refuge and opportunity, but they also make millions of people dependent on his judgment and turn every conflict with Black Star into a conflict over an entire region. (Chapters 896–927)

His public duel with Heber settles an old imbalance. Han Xiao had once needed to avoid direct confrontation with the Tyrant, but his mechanical forces, durability, and accumulated combat talents now let him grow stronger through a prolonged fight and defeat Heber before a vast audience. The victory gives him the title of strongest in the Shattered Star Ring and makes the Machinery Faith acknowledge a new Mechanical Deity. He uses the resulting attention to stabilize the army's position, although the fame also intensifies political scrutiny and economic competition. (Chapters 928–955)

Han Xiao's relationship with Hila becomes a test of his instinct to control dangerous outcomes. He knows the catastrophic path she followed in the former timeline and wants to keep her within his protection, but Hila insists on developing through her own risks. He ultimately supports rather than imprisons that independence, offering aid without making her freedom conditional. His concern later proves justified when hostile forces use her as leverage against him, yet the episode also shows that the army's senior officers are no longer pieces he can position solely according to foreknowledge. As player activity reshapes the new territories, Han Xiao guides army members toward goals that strengthen his faction while letting their apparently independent choices carry much of the political burden. He also contests Sorokin's financial expansion and uses the army's businesses, reputation, and player loyalty to resist a rival who cannot be defeated by firepower alone. By the end of the Flickering World expansion, Han Xiao has moved from reacting to the known future to actively designing institutions that can survive unknown versions of it. (Chapters 1006–1044)

Intelligent Plague and the Association

The Intelligent Plague confronts Han Xiao with a weapon tailored to a Mechanic's sphere: a self-propagating virtual virus capable of seizing machinery. He cooperates uneasily with Manison, the Mechanic Emperor and his greatest professional rival, because containing the plague matters more than their competition. Both possess the Virtual Paramount capability needed to confront the virus core, and each recognizes the temptation to keep the technology. Han Xiao ultimately helps destroy it rather than preserve a power that neither individual nor civilization could safely monopolize, sacrificing a unique research opportunity to prevent another universal catastrophe. (Chapters 1045–1111)

The crisis reinforces his belief that Beyond Grade As need a collective institution instead of remaining clients of civilizations. As president of the Beyond Grade A Association, he tries to align mutually suspicious individuals around shared rules, development, and security. This places him between Manison, whose control and secrecy Han Xiao distrusts, and the three Universal Civilizations, which fear an organized superhuman class. Their rivalry is therefore ideological as well as personal: Han Xiao contests Manison's methods and leadership, but he also refuses the civilizations' assumption that the association must remain politically harmless. (Chapters 1112–1160)

Threats against Ames and Aesop force Han Xiao to choose between institutional restraint and personal loyalty. Because Ames is determined to intervene, he accompanies her rather than allowing the former timeline's tragedy to repeat without him. He uncovers the Soul Swapper plot, defeats the Modo Civilization's attempt, and uses the conflict to pursue his own pressure campaign against Modo. His willingness to manipulate appearances and strike covertly protects people close to him, but it also deepens the civilizations' suspicion that Black Star operates by rules he alone understands. (Chapters 1161–1188)

Clues from the Holy Accord and the Underworld reveal that death among Beyond Grade As is not as final as galactic history assumes. Han Xiao supports Hila and Aurora's restoration of the Underworld, investigates the Sanctums, and recognizes revival as the foundation of genuine security for the superhuman class. He does not immediately disclose everything he learns. Instead, he treats knowledge of revival as a strategic safeguard, convinced that revealing it without control could provoke the civilizations into attacking before the association is ready. (Chapters 1189–1211)

Sanctum Revival and the Super Crisis

Han Xiao enters the Third Sanctum to verify revival for himself. The journey gives him evidence that the Sanctums preserve information from past universal Iterations and that revival can restore dead Beyond Grade As, though the process, authority requirements, and effect on an individual's information integrity are more complicated than a simple resurrection. He revives historical experts and conceals the fact that Sanctum Revival is not limited to one use, intending that apparent limitation to discourage reckless deaths and keep the civilizations from understanding the association's full resilience. (Chapters 1212–1254)

The discovery sharpens his conflict with the three Universal Civilizations. Han Xiao wants to prevent the Beyond Grade A class from being eliminated or forced into the same doomed path he knows from another civilization's history, while the rulers see his association and hidden revival channel as a challenge to their monopoly on force. He gathers allies, recruits isolated experts, and prepares the association to survive a cleansing. Even when he considers allowing a limited war to demonstrate that killing Beyond Grade As cannot solve the political problem, he distinguishes between revivable association members and ordinary soldiers who would be permanently lost; that cost keeps the choice from being a casual one. (Chapters 1255–1295)

He also advances from personal fighter to custodian of a lineage. By training potential successors, strengthening the association, and arranging the positions of the army's senior members, Han Xiao prepares for dangers that cannot be solved by one battle. His private goal remains twofold: preserve the Beyond Grade A class and prepare for the World Tree, with the latter taking priority because no internal settlement matters if the explored universe is consumed. The result is a tense balance rather than reconciliation; the civilizations have not learned to trust him, but his power and the association's unity make unilateral suppression increasingly costly. (Chapters 1296–1315)

The World Tree War

Destiny's Child's prophecy confirms that the World Tree threat is approaching. Han Xiao shares enough intelligence to mobilize allies, organizes a secret expedition, and attempts to exploit the explored universe's informational advantage before the enemy can locate it. The operation becomes a pursuit when the World Tree notices the intruders, but Han Xiao uses guerrilla attacks and his knowledge of its revival system to impose losses without surrendering coordinates. Once concealment fails, he supports public mobilization rather than preserving his private credibility at the expense of defense. (Chapters 1316–1341)

During the war, Han Xiao becomes both frontline weapon and strategic guarantor. He captures Tree Kings with Spacetime Amber, coordinates with Hila and Aurora's Underworld to preserve fallen experts, and uses Sanctum Revival to return those whom ordinary medicine cannot save. These systems do not make sacrifice meaningless: allies still experience death, delay, and fear, and Han Xiao bears the expectation that he can bring them back. His ability to do so nevertheless changes morale and lets the explored universe contest an enemy whose own fighters can repeatedly revive through the World Tree. (Chapters 1342–1363)

Han Xiao pursues Transcendent Grade because the war has exposed the ceiling of existing individual strength. The promotion requires a dangerous racial apotheosis and a Beyonder's Vestige, along with outside stabilization; failure may put him beyond even Sanctum Revival. He chooses the risk, obtains help from peak Beyond Grade As, and succeeds, naming the new level Transcendent Grade. The advancement makes his body, machinery, and virtual existence parts of one energy foundation and gives him the Supreme Heavenly Venerate form, but it does not make him omniscient: several information-form effects are new even to him, and he tests their limits rather than pretending certainty. (Chapters 1364–1389)

With that strength, Han Xiao can overpower the World Tree's highest combat forms and guard the secondary-dimension front, but he still relies on allies, intelligence, and the Pivotal Snake to locate the enemy's core. He subdues Tree Kings, defeats the Tree God, and eventually takes control of the World Tree itself. The victory ends the invasion and also gives him a system capable of storing, reviving, and materializing vast amounts of information. Rather than preserve wartime command indefinitely, he helps establish the Supers Holy Land, hands operational positions to successors, and leaves the Beyond Grade As with a home that does not depend on his daily rule. (Chapters 1390–1447)

Information Form and the Final Relay

After the war, deeper Sanctum records reveal that Han Xiao's universe is a dark-side informational projection rather than the final material state. He brings this knowledge to the three Universal Civilizations and insists that skepticism cannot remain their permanent response to every warning he gives. Their independent Sanctum access verifies the history of Iterations and makes cooperation possible. Han Xiao then uses the World Tree against an outside Star Alliance, exploiting its centralized structure to subdue it quickly rather than allow another prolonged existential war. (Chapters 1448–1457)

The proposed conversion into the true universe puts a burden on Han Xiao that cannot be delegated. Activating information-form materialization will connect him to the universe's consciousness, disrupt the interface that has accompanied him since his rebirth, and may dissolve his own continuity if the informational impact overwhelms him. He therefore revisits Aquamarine, the mechanical civilization, the Black Star Army, the Supers Holy Land, old enemies, friends, and family, using memory and relationship as Information Form Anchors. These journeys clarify the development beneath his accumulation of power: people he once approached as useful future assets have become the history by which he understands himself. (Chapters 1458–1462)

Nine years later, Han Xiao stands at the center of the conversion array while the civilizations guard the process. He hesitates only long enough to recall the lives and conflicts that anchor him, then activates the World Tree's solidification function despite not knowing exactly what the transition will do to him. The dark-side universe enters the true state, and Han Xiao reappears in the Solar System over the Earth from which he originally came, accompanied by the materialized galactic presence. His final state resolves the question that troubled him in the first chapter—whether he was a person or data—not through a theoretical answer, but through the survival of his identity, memories, and connections across the boundary. Appearance and personality

Han Xiao begins in a roughly twenty-year-old human body that bears some resemblance to his former self. Years of fighting and physical evolution make him sturdier; by the Secret War he has short hair, an angular face, stubble, and a built frame usually covered by a black windbreaker and compressed-orb necklace. His later Transcendent promotion leaves his skin faintly luminous during the change, with golden particles around him, but he can suppress that visible aura afterward. (Chapters 1, 692, and 1388)

He is cautious, opportunistic, and intensely practical. Han Xiao prefers preparation, misdirection, and leverage to fair contests, but once suspicious he acts rather than waiting for certainty. His profit-seeking jokes and shameless public persona coexist with a willingness to spend resources on long-term protection, and he often disguises concern as calculation. Over time, responsibility enlarges the scale of that pragmatism: the captive who initially wants only to survive becomes a commander willing to risk an irreplaceable existence for people who may never know what he did. (Chapters 62, 467, 895, 1421, and 1458–1463)

Abilities and class

Han Xiao's power is founded on the interface-visible Mechanic class, which turns knowledge, materials, energy, and large-scale production into combat power. His path expands from hand-built weapons and powered armor to virtual intrusion, autonomous mechanical armies, Mechanical Deity forms, and information-form creation. He also develops extraordinary personal durability, so destroying his machines no longer exposes the conventional fragility expected of a Mechanic.

Interface, Mechanic class, and prior-timeline knowledge

Han Xiao retains an interface after awakening as an NPC. It lets him learn class knowledge, allocate attributes, complete missions and promotions, inspect certain targets, and gain experience. He unlocks Mechanic by studying basic machinery in captivity; the class initially grants assembly, maintenance, enhancement, and the technical comprehension needed to turn diagrams into working devices. Crafting still requires time, tools, materials, and sufficient knowledge, and early overloading of a machine drains his energy while increasing output at the cost of durability. (Chapters 1–2 and 17–27)

His memory of playing Galaxy supplies locations, characters, future crises, and an understanding of how players behave. He uses that information to find opportunities, accelerate disaster response, and design faction rewards that attract the players whose experience he can absorb. This is strategic knowledge, not infallible prophecy: he lacks information about hidden events the former players never encountered, and his own interventions cause people and wars to diverge from the remembered timeline. By the World Tree War, the changed campaign is different enough that he explicitly defers to professional commanders rather than pretending the old history contains every answer. Machinery creation and Mechanical Force

Mechanic knowledge allows Han Xiao to design, modify, repair, and mass-produce weapons, armor, vehicles, spacecraft, artificial intelligences, and autonomous soldiers. Machinery Affinity improves his crafting speed and the performance of what he creates, while Mechanical Force powers, strengthens, controls, and links his machines. His first signature devices are compact, purpose-built tools such as the Lightweight Mechanical Arm; later suits, including the Void Dragon Mechanical Suit and Berserk Ape, combine armor, mobility, virtual interfaces, transformations, and burst output. Equipment can be destroyed, disabled, depleted, countered by hostile abilities, or rendered unsuitable for a particular enemy, so Han Xiao repeatedly carries alternatives and rebuilds after fights. (Chapters 5–31, 389, 452–495, and 587–635)

At larger scales he deploys mechanical armies through compressed storage and secondary-dimensional systems, applies Mechanical Force bonuses across linked units, and creates intelligent Apostle Weapons and Mechanical Lives. Numbers let him distribute fire, surround targets, absorb losses, and fight through remote bodies, but production consumes knowledge, materials, energy, and factory time. Storing an army within his later internal Soldier Nest temporarily reduces his maximum health and energy until deployment; his recovery cycle mitigates that cost, rather than removing the underlying condition. Virtual intrusion extends the same control principle into networks, allowing him to seize or defend machinery, although peer Mechanics and specialized virtual defenses can contest him. Mechanical Deity and Supreme Heavenly Venerate

At Beyond Grade A, Han Xiao can assemble vast quantities of machinery into a Mechanical Deity whose structure serves as a gigantic combat body. Its form can be configured like a blueprint, combining army-scale material, weapons, defenses, and Mechanical Force into a single platform; the required machinery and energy make it an expression of accumulated infrastructure, not a costless transformation. It gives him the scale to fight other peak individuals and later the Tree God, while damage to its components and attacks that bypass or suppress machinery remain relevant battlefield problems. (Chapters 929–955, 1116, and 1358–1362)

Transcendent promotion grants Mechanical Deity—Supreme Heavenly Venerate, the ultimate Virtual-branch form available to him. Through Energy Base—God of All Machines, the mechanical shell can itself become his main body and energy foundation, letting him maintain the form without a separate fleshly core. This interaction also lets the Deity's body satisfy physical-contact requirements for tools such as Spacetime Amber. The form decisively overwhelms prior-grade opponents, but Han Xiao initially lacks complete familiarity with its information-level effects; after one strike appears able to affect an enemy's information projection, he records the possibility rather than claiming that he has fully mastered existential erasure. Durability, energy conversion, and evolved life

Han Xiao builds an unusual defense around high Endurance, resistance, cell proliferation, and a health–energy cycle. A portion of damage stopped by his resistances becomes energy, and he can spend energy to regenerate health; as these talents improve, ordinary attacks may replenish much of what stronger attacks remove. This makes attrition favorable and allows him to keep high-energy bonuses active, but it is not unconditional invulnerability. Earlier versions of the cycle absorb attacks that land on his body rather than armor or shields, psychic damage can bypass the physical absorption route, and sufficiently concentrated damage can still outpace recovery. (Chapters 563–584, 647–683, 917, and 1228)

Race evolutions progressively move him beyond an ordinary human body. Becoming Beyond Grade A creates the Black Star race and the Mechanical Genius racial talent, increasing Machinery Affinity and creation performance. At Transcendent Grade, racial apotheosis adds broad attribute, resistance, lifespan, and ability-strength growth; his Divine Cosmos Body is described as enduring to the universe's end. Virtual creation and information-form existence

Transcendent class advancement lets Han Xiao transform himself or a successfully judged target into virtual data or a mechanical life form. Energy Base—God of All Machines means his power is no longer tied solely to biological cells, so he can continue to exist through mechanical or virtual forms. His Virtual Creation (Pseudo) can materialize virtual designs and skip ordinary manufacturing, but only for real, known, physically lawful objects; it requires equivalent resources and produces temporary creations that eventually disintegrate. Absorbing the World Tree later supplies a true information-form materialization system on a much larger scale. (Chapters 1388–1389 and 1434–1443)

His Transcendent information form also grants Conceptual Immortality within the current universe and its secondary dimensions: so long as information carriers preserve his deeds and beings remember his name, death can trigger an information disturbance that reconstructs him without the degradation associated with repeated Sanctum Revival. Han Xiao is unsure whether this protection extends through separate universal Iterations, and the Sanctum's position outside the ordinary information carrier makes that extrapolation doubtful. The final conversion introduces a different risk—loss of continuity under universe-scale information impact—which is why he establishes personal Information Form Anchors before materializing the dark-side universe into the true state. • Ames: Han Xiao initially accepts Floating Dragon's protection while preserving his own independent organization. Their trust survives political differences and matures into an intimate partnership; by the final chapter, they have a daughter, and Ames is one of the few people told about the universe-conversion plan. (Chapters 371–430, 551, 1160–1163, and 1463)
• Hila: Hila begins as the Germinal commander overseeing the laboratory that holds him. After Han Xiao rescues Aurora and Germinal falls, hostility becomes comradeship; he later struggles to balance his knowledge of Hila's disastrous alternate future with respect for her decision to pursue strength independently. (Chapters 1–2, 240–282, 925–1005, and 1145)
• Aurora: Han Xiao rescues Aurora from Germinal and later treats her survival and growth as a responsibility. Her healing, life force, and partnership with Hila become central to the Underworld and to limiting wartime deaths. (Chapters 199–240, 507, 1078, and 1342–1343)
• Manison: Manison is Han Xiao's greatest Mechanic rival and an institutional opponent within the Beyond Grade A community. They compete over technology, influence, and leadership but cooperate when the Intelligent Plague and later existential threats require both of them; Han Xiao ultimately remembers him as his most distinctive Beyond Grade A comrade. • Bennett: Bennett is Han Xiao's principal Aquamarine ally. Their cooperation against Germinal grows into a durable division of responsibility: Bennett governs and protects the planet while Han Xiao supplies forewarning, galactic connections, and intervention against threats beyond its reach. • Herlous: Han Xiao recruits Herlous by aligning mercenary work with Sunil's need for a future. Herlous becomes a trusted combat officer and commander who helps turn the small mercenary group into the Black Star Army. (Chapters 335–370, 467, 657, and 1459)
• Sylvia: Sylvia enters his custody as an enemy's daughter intent on revenge. Han Xiao chooses mentorship over execution, trains her as a Mechanic, and entrusts her with increasingly important operational and administrative work. (Chapters 431–479, 653, and 725)
• Frenzied Sword: Frenzied Sword is the first player Han Xiao deliberately cultivates as a close follower. Han Xiao gives him missions, instruction, and opportunities, while Frenzied Sword's loyalty helps establish Black Star's unusually strong bond with the player population. • Feidin: Han Xiao helps Feidin survive the struggle with Chen Xing and repeatedly values both his psychic potential and extraordinary luck. Feidin becomes an officer and trusted ally whose development eventually reaches Beyond Grade A. (Chapters 444–455, 731, and 1369–1380)
• EsGod: EsGod is first a looming threat whose research may expose the explored universe to the World Tree. Han Xiao helps capture him in Spacetime Amber, later kills his restored body during the war, and offers his surviving soul continued existence as an Underworld Hero Spirit in exchange for service. • Heber: Heber's Bloodshed Land is the Black Star Army's chief opponent in the Secret War. Han Xiao grows from a challenger unable to match the Tyrant's established Beyond Grade A power into the fighter who defeats him publicly and displaces him as the Shattered Star Ring's strongest. • Phillip: Phillip is Han Xiao's artificial-intelligence assistant and the operational intelligence core behind much of the army's logistics, monitoring, and virtual coordination. Han Xiao relies on Phillip's surveillance when his suspicions cannot yet be confirmed by direct evidence. (Chapters 506, 901–903, and 1421)
