Celestial Punishment Edge

The Celestial Punishment Edge is Han Xiao's enormous war halberd, built as a Universal Treasure-grade exclusive weapon for his Mechanical Deity.

History

Universal Treasure construction

Han Xiao acquires the design as a Federation of Light reward and constructs it through a set of gigantic assembly rings, using Perfect Mechanical Sense to adjust its energy flow throughout the process. The completed Edge is his third personally manufactured Universal Treasure and is stored in his Dimension Factory when not deployed. (Chapters 1088–1095)

Han Xiao first tests it by driving the weapon through the Kepel base and into the planet beneath it. The psionic discharge reduces the base to dust and triggers destructive reactions inside the planet, while the weapon curves back to the Mechanical Deity's hand after being thrown. (Chapter 1107)

Clashes with the Mechanic Emperor

Against Manison, the Edge collides repeatedly with the Emperor Mechanic's Sacred Trident. The trident's quality and Manison's stronger bonuses initially suppress it, but Han Xiao continues using the Edge as both a melee weapon and a carrier for concentrated psionic attacks. Later clashes crack its blade; the Black Star Alloy incorporated into it allows the damage to recover, and Han Xiao can accelerate the repair by running his hand over the weapon. (Chapters 1116–1168)

Later upgrades and the World Tree

The Edge remains Han Xiao's principal Mechanical Deity weapon through battles in secondary dimensions and against the three Universal Civilizations. He combines its swings with Getta Hadoken to launch enormous energy arcs and uses its physical scale to crush shields, fleets, and fortified targets. An upgraded form accompanies him into the World Tree conflict, where it cuts through battleships and contests the Subduing Tree King's defenses. (Chapters 1193–1337)

Abilities and properties

  • Functions as a mega-scale war halberd whose physical blows and psionic blade can damage bases, planets, fleets, and Beyond Grade A opponents. (Chapters 1107, 1116–1118, and 1322)
  • Can return to the Mechanical Deity's hand after being thrown or knocked away. (Chapters 1107 and 1118)
  • Uses hovering auxiliary devices to channel additional psionic energy into the blade. (Chapter 1166)
  • Incorporates Black Star Alloy, allowing cracks and durability damage to recover over time or through Han Xiao's accelerated repair. (Chapter 1167)
  • Works with Getta Hadoken to project repeated long-range psionic slashes rather than relying only on its physical reach. (Chapters 1194, 1215–1216, and 1337)
