Evolution Cube
The Evolution Cube is a Universal Treasure created by the lost Evolutionary Civilization whose capacity to improve living beings makes its custody a strategic issue among Beyond Grade As and universal civilizations.
History
Psyker's Universal Treasure
Psyker obtains the Cube in the Ancient Star Desert before becoming a Beyond Grade A and makes it central to the Star Pupil Holy Race's development. The device is valuable not merely as personal equipment but because its effects can be applied to large numbers of people, turning control of it into political and military leverage. EsGod's pursuit of the Cube brings Psyker, Han Xiao, Ames, and other powers into direct conflict over it. (Chapters 730–770)
Black Star's custody
Han Xiao secures the Evolution Cube and uses it on his officers before taking it into the Crimson Dynasty's sphere. His ownership supports the Black Star Army's growth and attracts applicants willing to exchange favors for access. It also generates pressure inside the dynasty from officials who believe such an important asset should be surrendered to the state, but Han Xiao continues deciding who may use it. (Chapters 771–1046)
Strategic legacy
The Cube remains important after its immediate acquisition conflict because its effect can be reproduced economically through Evolutionary Totems and because its abilities inspire attempts at simulation. Even much later, Gaud's attempt to imitate its power is treated as a plausible motive in political speculation surrounding his disappearance, showing how closely the treasure remains tied to Black Star's interests. (Chapters 800–1394)
