Michael Fang
Michael Fang is the Lord who awakens Extraction, establishes a territory in the Untamed Jungle, and turns the effort to protect and restore his brother into a war against the Supreme Human Alliance and the Primals. His ability to take powers apart and recombine them makes him exceptional, but his defining choices concern what he will do with that advantage: build strength for the people bound to him, resist control by his Curses and enemies, and ultimately accept responsibility for the Origin Expanse itself.
Biography
War Rune Awakening and the First Territory
Michael enters his graduation examination as a disregarded student with little family support beyond Daniel. He wants the independence and status that awakening can provide, but his ambitions are also relational: he intends to repay the brother who raised, trained, and equipped him. His War Rune and two-star Extraction give him a path no instructor fully understands, while the inherited tattered account of Cleave Fenrir makes his apparent good fortune feel dangerous from the start. (Chapters 2–7)
The Origin Expanse gives Michael a rainforest territory, Tiara as his first resident, and a Heroic Summon called Fenrir. Michael tries to treat rulership as a duty to provide safe living conditions rather than a license to command. The ancestor's memories nevertheless convince him that Fenrir is a future threat. He kills the exhausted Summon by deception, is physically sickened by his first real killing, and accepts Tiara's support without pretending the act was emotionally easy. (Chapters 8–18)
Extracting Fenrir's corpse reveals the scale of Michael's Soultrait: he obtains SoulStar Fragments, memories, and the Eagle Eyes Soultrait, proving that Extraction can transfer more than material loot. With Tiara, he rebuilds from the loss of his only fighter, exploits the conflict between the Gogis and a powerful lizard, and defeats the Gogi Lord. Contact with Forest Elves and a growing Summoning Gate then changes the isolated clearing into an emerging domain whose survival depends on Michael learning both warfare and negotiated trust. (Chapters 19–67)
Saphirelake Admission and EmeraldLeaf Contact
Outside the Expanse, Michael's first academy contacts expose the divide between his obscure background and High Society. He meets Kaleb Zenovia, recognizes the family resemblance to Alice, and discovers that other young Lords measure worth through affiliation as much as combat. Rather than withdraw, he uses assessments and training to test his rapidly multiplying powers. Reaching Tier 1 validates his foundation, but it also attracts attention that makes anonymity increasingly impossible. (Chapters 68–93)
The Lionhearts' assault on his territory forces Michael to act as commander rather than opportunistic hunter. He studies their approach, coordinates his subjects, and uses the protection of the jungle and his information advantage to survive a stronger invading force. Victory supplies Artifacts, resources, and SoulStar Fragments, while the later Tier 1 breakthrough and academy evaluations show him that disciplined refinement matters alongside Extraction. The conflict confirms that every gain in visibility can bring a better-equipped enemy to his people. (Chapters 94–120)
Michael's relationship with the Forest Elves develops through trade, shared danger, and guarded disclosure. He offers refugees a place in his territory without assuming their loyalty is permanent, while Lilica and the elders weigh his unusual abilities against the risks of dependence on a human Lord. When their trust becomes concrete, Michael shows them the Temple of the Forgotten. That choice could expose his greatest mystery, yet he treats reciprocal confidence as more valuable than maintaining control through secrecy alone. (Chapters 121–172)
The Lord Rift and Daniel’s Loss
The Lord Rift offers advancement under controlled rules, and Michael enters it with allies whose survival now matters as much as his own reward. He uses Extraction to read opportunities other Lords cannot see, strengthens his team, and reaches Tier 2 after accumulating and cleansing energy. The expedition also places him against High Nobles and monsters whose formal advantages exceed his own, forcing him to combine perception, Enhancement, equipment, and leadership instead of relying on any single Soultrait. (Chapters 173–255)
News from the Sacred Desert turns exploration into a personal crisis. Daniel's Lord Card fails, reports connect his disappearance to the Primedival Pyramid, and Michael's search leads through undead forces, betrayal, and the rise of the Undead Pharaoh. Michael cannot save his brother in time. His grief becomes a durable motive rather than a brief reaction: he begins tracing the people who abandoned Daniel, studying the curse behind the desert, and preserving every fragment that might explain or reverse the loss. (Chapters 256–284)
Michael returns to Saphirelake carrying trauma, new power, and little patience for aristocratic intimidation. When the Zan twins and their associates provoke him, he severs the twins' arms and accepts that the academy will punish the public violence even though they engineered the confrontation. Alice advises him to lie low, but the rumors alter his standing. The episode shows how Daniel's death has sharpened Michael's hostility toward coercion and how readily he will now answer threats with irreversible force. (Chapters 285–292)
Battle Exchange and Interdimensional Flag War
The academy converts Michael's punishment into compulsory service: qualify through the Battle Exchange, enter the Interdimensional Flag War, and kill a Tekur. He recognizes the danger but also the opportunity to acquire Soultraits capable of protecting Tiara and his other allies. Michael therefore accepts the imposed mission on his own terms, treating the months before deployment as a deadline for technical study, territory expansion, and a combat style flexible enough to face a race built around customized Soul Techniques. (Chapters 293–367)
In the Flag War, Michael commands a mixed force through ambushes, spatial displacement, and battles against superior Tekur. He orders withdrawals when the mission demands survival, relies on Zeroa and his bonded beasts for mobility, and uses Extraction to turn fallen enemies into Soultraits, SoulStar Fragments, techniques, and intelligence. The campaign rewards his habit of learning from every corpse, but it also exposes the physical toll of stacking Enhancement and multiple powers merely to keep pace with Tekur soldiers. (Chapters 368–451)
Michael learns to extract the living and develops Insert, the complementary ability to place extracted properties, Soultraits, and power into a new target. Aethyr's shifting weapon forms let him adapt faster than fixed equipment, while borrowed fragments such as Archangel's Grace supply conditional healing rather than permanent ownership. By studying Tekur memories, he understands that their Soul Techniques overclock Soultraits by spending recoverable Soul Power. The war ends with Michael not only stronger, but capable of manufacturing tailored growth for others. (Chapters 452–476)
Savannah Alliances and Regional War
After the Flag War, Michael refuses to treat victory as recovery. He upgrades Spirit Gaze, expands the Untamed territory, and is pulled into the conflicts around the Savannah, Xylon, and the Nest. The people attracted to his resources include allies, refugees, and possible infiltrators, so he balances hospitality with verification. His assistance to displaced Valyr is both compassionate and strategic: he will not leave them to die, yet he openly needs their strength and negotiates from that reality. (Chapters 477–562)
The recovery of Daniel's Living Soul transforms Michael's grief into a difficult rescue project. The soul can communicate through Michael and the Soul Grimoire, but it lacks an independent vessel and carries damage linked to a Cursed Seal. Michael studies exorcism, Soul Tears, and reconstruction while continuing the regional conflict. Their renewed banter restores part of his former emotional life, yet it also intensifies his refusal to accept solutions that would leave Daniel permanently dependent or incomplete. (Chapters 543–595)
Michael commits the Untamed Awakened to the Regional War after Xylon's forces and the Savannah's rival Lords threaten his allies. He divides strike groups according to their actual strengths, uses space users for rapid raids, and targets Lords and reinforcement routes instead of wasting his forces on spectacle. His victory over the regional power structure makes him a decisive ruler beyond the jungle, but his acceptance of Valyr survivors leaves him questioning whether necessity and mercy can remain aligned as his territory grows. (Chapters 596–650)
Arx, the Sacred Desert, and Bloodline Revelations
Michael incorporates Arx and the Valyr only after using Mind Reader under a Soul Contract that limits what he may disclose or exploit. The condition reflects his leadership at this stage: suspicion has not disappeared, but he recognizes that scrutiny without restraint would destroy the trust he needs. He deploys Zeroa, Hiraku, and the Untamed Awakened in separate strike forces, topples the remaining Savannah Lords, and converts military success into territorial and political leverage rather than indiscriminate conquest. (Chapters 651–684)
Jormungandr's presence becomes explicit as the World Serpent joins Michael's internal struggle, while Daniel's Living Soul grows more stable. At the same time, Michael's relationship with Alice becomes openly romantic. Their dates and awkward admissions offer a life beyond campaigning, but Daniel and the Curses ensure that intimacy is never isolated from the conflicts inside Michael's own body. Bloodline revelations further separate the Fangs from ordinary humans and connect Michael's family history to Curse Users and the Supreme Human Alliance's larger schemes. (Chapters 685–729)
Returning to the Sacred Desert brings Michael face to face with the Undead Pharaoh and the source of Daniel's earlier catastrophe. He draws on Cleave Fenrir's memories to use the emotion-powered Wicked Spear Arts, even though its amplification destabilizes his feelings and strains his body. Rather than surrender control to the Wolf Curse or World Serpent, Michael forces both to support his chosen attack. The result lets a Tier 3 Lesser Lifeform wound an ancient cursed opponent, but only by approaching physical collapse. (Chapters 730–760)
The Nest and the Supreme Human Alliance
Michael, the Wolf Curse, and Jormungandr destroy the Undead Pharaoh through a combination of Wicked Spear Arts, Aethyr, purgatory flames, cursed Extraction, and the World Serpent's armor. The victory resolves the immediate desert threat and avenges part of Daniel's suffering, but it also proves how closely Michael's survival is tied to beings that once sought control over him. He treats their aid as cooperation, not ownership, and continues negotiating the boundaries of their access to his body. (Chapters 761–788)
At the Nest, Michael undergoes High Ascension with Origin Sap, takes control of which Cursed and Serpent Seals open, and reconstructs his body, mind, and soul as a Higher Lifeform. He also confronts Hesta and the parents who abandoned him and Daniel. Michael refuses to let family rank or belated concern erase the childhood consequences, even while allowing Daniel to pursue his own relationship with them. The reunion therefore expands his family without producing uncomplicated reconciliation. (Chapters 789–834)
The Phantasm Spring gives Daniel a new vessel, while Michael studies Curse Transformation and later applies Extraction as medicine against Supreme Human Alliance corruption. He cleanses captured allies and reconquers the Zentika region, making opposition to the Alliance both a personal campaign and a rescue effort. Killing Senator Keltos brings no satisfaction: by then, Michael values the recovered lives and the removal of systemic control more than the fear of an enemy who can no longer threaten them. (Chapters 835–900)
Trials, Divinities, and the Titan War
Michael's efforts to cure Zeke and Kaleb require cutting corrupted portions from their souls, filling the gaps with compatible Soultraits, and accepting that some memories cannot be recovered. He watches both men nearly die before stabilizing them and reaches Tier 5 only after they awaken. The sequence makes his power's limitation personal: Extraction can remove corruption and Insert can rebuild structure, but neither guarantees restoration without loss, time, resources, and informed risk. (Chapters 901–919)
The Temple of the Forgotten regresses Michael and subjects him to trials built around survival, memories, and the people he holds dear. He spends a year in the Primordial Untamed Jungle, rebuilds beyond his former strength, reaches Tier 6, and forms an Energy Vortex and Divine Shell. He refuses to let the trials define love as weakness; images of Alice, Lincoln, and his endangered territory instead clarify whom he is becoming powerful to protect. Hel then joins him as another God Curse. (Chapters 920–930)
Michael returns to a wider war in which Divine Lifeforms, Beast Gods, Titans, and the Supreme Human Alliance contest entire planets and galaxies. He rescues Alice from an artificial coma and continues confronting corruption rather than writing controlled friends off as enemies. After Divine Ascension he is confirmed as Tier 7, negotiates with the Cosmos Queen Beast, and pushes into the Alliance's space. Hel's destruction of a hostile planet then propels him to Tier 8, demonstrating both his increased capacity and the frightening scale his allies can unleash through him. (Chapters 931–1000)
God Wars and the Primal Conflict
Michael expands the anti-Alliance campaign through the Fae Union and ancient regions while developing Divinity Seeds, higher Soultraits, and powers capable of operating at planetary scale. He creates alternate bodies and coordinates old allies rather than reducing the war to a solitary duel. His objective is no longer revenge alone: Blood Incursion, the Alliance's racial control, and its gods threaten every community he has built, so he distributes countermeasures and prepares the Tritan forces to survive the order that follows victory. (Chapters 1002–1047)
He invades the core of the Supreme Human Alliance, kills its gods with allied support, and confronts the Primal forces behind the conflict. The campaign costs lives and exposes the difference between Michael's vast versatility and the Essence-level existence of his enemies. Faith and the primal root drive his War Rune to Peak Tier 9, but the advancement does not decide the war by itself. Michael must still combine the God Curses, extracted abilities, allies, and his connection to the Expanse against Primal Xerx and the other ancient powers. (Chapters 1048–1063)
The Will and the Origin Expanse's Pillar push Michael to Tier 10, after which he binds the Expanse and becomes the New Primal and Supreme Lord. The change grants authority beyond the ordinary War Rune ladder but also makes him structurally responsible for the realm on which countless people depend. Michael reconnects unstable Primals to the Expanse and weave instead of merely destroying every opponent, and he finally releases Jormungandr, Fenrir, and Hel from the Curse state that had bound their futures to his body. (Chapters 1064–1093)
The Unknown Domain and the New Era
The immediate aftermath disperses the Nest's old purpose. Freed Curses pursue lives of their own, the Human Protection Service protects populations formerly caught between humans and Hyumans, and Michael works to reverse Blood Incursion across the surviving cosmos. He does not force a sentimental reunion with his parents, but his broader settlement gives Hesta, Daniel, and the former Nest members space to choose their own families and duties. The new order is therefore defined by released obligations rather than Michael collecting every ally under permanent command. (Chapters 1094–1098)
When the Origin Universe connects to an unknown domain, Michael recognizes both the danger and the intellectual opportunity. He entrusts Daniel and Rebecca with the first expedition and supplies the resources needed to study Mana, Force, and Spirita beyond the weave. Michael's own Extraction cannot grasp those energies, an unusual failure that excites him rather than confirming mastery. As Supreme Lord, however, he accepts that exploring personally could endanger the Expanse and remains behind while others cross the boundary. (Chapters 1099–1118)
Decades later, Michael and Alice use a liquid mirror to follow the independent lives of friends, teachers, subjects, and rivals. He quietly supports institutions such as Silverian's academy, respects Tiara's choices, and regrets that helping Killian advance may have wounded a rival's pride. His immortality no longer isolates him: Alice, their daughter Lucia, and the people shaped by the Untamed Jungle remain part of his life. The revelation that Alice is carrying another child, already linked to Essence, ends the chronicle with Michael anticipating a future rather than merely guarding a completed victory. (Chapters 1119–1123)
Appearance and personality
Michael is introduced as a young man with black hair and dark eyes, physically trained through years of sparring with Daniel but socially marked by his lack of status. His eyes later glow gold when he uses evolved perception and Extraction-based powers, while High Ascension reconstructs his body into a Higher Lifeform vessel. The corpus emphasizes functional transformations—serpentine scale armor, cursed manifestations, a Divine Shell, and finally a New Primal state—more often than it supplies a fixed late-story outfit or exact measurements. (Chapters 2–8, 761–786, 930, 1074–1075)
Curiosity and restless experimentation are constants. Michael tests unfamiliar resources, studies the memories and techniques he extracts, and often treats an enemy's supposedly unique advantage as a mechanical question to solve. That confidence can become recklessness: he stacks powers until his body threatens to fail and pursues dangerous opportunities soon after trauma. Unlike a collector interested only in personal supremacy, however, he repeatedly adapts his discoveries into Soultraits, techniques, equipment, and infrastructure for subjects and friends. (Chapters 12–20, 404–476, 627–642, 919–930)
His protectiveness is inseparable from abandonment. Daniel's care teaches him loyalty, while his parents' absence leaves him unwilling to discard people once he accepts them as his own. Michael can be warm, teasing, and awkwardly romantic with trusted companions, but coercion or betrayal produces immediate, sometimes excessive violence. Maturity does not make him universally forgiving; it teaches him to distinguish restitution from access, letting others rebuild without pretending their past choices no longer matter. (Chapters 6–8, 285–293, 695–705, 819, 1094–1123)
Soultraits, Curses, and techniques
Extraction, Insert, and Permute
Extraction begins as a two-star Soultrait able to separate useful material cleanly from corpses and the environment. Killing Cleave Fenrir's summoned remnant establishes its defining exception: Michael can extract memories, SoulStar Fragments, Soultrait Symbols, and other nonmaterial properties, then bind some of them to himself. Greater mastery produces many simultaneous strands, True Extraction, and attacks that remove energy, air, matter, or curse power. Its use is not costless; early exertion exhausts him, living targets resist, and unfamiliar energies in the Unknown Domain disperse when he tries to grasp them. (Chapters 12, 18–20, 403–404, 743, 1123)
Insert develops as Extraction's constructive counterpart. Michael can place extracted properties, energy, Soultraits, and compatible components into people or techniques, letting him reinforce abilities or combine traits that were previously separate. The same principle turns combat loot into individualized growth and later supports the surgical repair of corrupted souls. Insert does not make every combination safe: affinity, structural damage, Soul Power, and the recipient's condition still matter, and saving Zeke and Kaleb requires repeated failures, removed memories, and replacement Soultraits rather than one effortless application. (Chapters 452–468, 595–629, 919)
Permute is a higher development that changes extracted or swallowed power into another useful form, including the purified energy Michael and Jormungandr employ at Divine levels. Together, the three abilities form a cycle—take apart, transform, and reintegrate—that underlies Michael's combat, healing, crafting, and institutional influence. Even at the endpoint it is not universal: Essence and the foreign Mana, Force, and Spirita of the Unknown Domain demonstrate that some substances remain outside his established control. (Chapters 975–1005, 1064–1075, 1099–1123)
Soultrait network and Soul Power
Michael's first extracted Soultrait, Eagle Eyes, evolves through upgrades and combinations into Spirit Gaze and later Seer, giving him increasingly deep perception of energy, hidden structures, distant spaces, and combat processes. Enhancement layers raise the output of his body or other Soultraits, while Taming, Cosmic Stride and its Slipstream evolution, Death Call, Glacicle, and numerous temporary or combined traits broaden his applications. The variety is powerful because Michael studies interactions, not because every trait is equally effective against every opponent. (Chapters 19–20, 77–107, 390–476, 969–1000)
SoulStar Fragments raise a Soultrait's star rating and Soul Power supports advanced use, fusion, and overclocking. Michael learns from the Tekur that Soul Techniques can spend accumulated Soul Power like a rechargeable reserve to multiply an ability's performance, but the depleted trait weakens until that reserve recovers. He creates or adapts techniques for himself and others, uses Memory Orbs to understand execution, and builds an unusually large Soul Sphere. The network's main constraints remain cognitive load, energy, bodily strain, and the need for compatible mechanics. (Chapters 19, 101–108, 403–476, 623–642)
God Curses and sealed power
The Wolf Curse is rooted in Michael's Fang bloodline and initially threatens possession as Cursed Seals open. Jormungandr, the World Serpent, later joins him, followed by Hel during the Temple's trials. Their seals provide vast strength, specialized Divinity, armor, domains, and transformations, but they are independent ancient beings rather than passive batteries. Michael's central achievement is gaining enough control to bargain with them, fuse selected seals, and refuse releases that would overwhelm his agency or destroy his vessel. (Chapters 503–550, 685–743, 788–832, 930)
Curse Fusion and the Transformation Arts let Michael manifest or combine parts of the Curses without surrendering his whole body. The Wolf Curse empowers cursed Extraction, Jormungandr supplies serpentine protection, swallowing, and space-scale power, and Hel grants access to Death and undead forces. Each increase in Michael's Tier permits more Divinity to pass through him safely, but excessive output can still rupture body, mind, or soul. Their relationship ends not in absorption but release: after becoming Supreme Lord, Michael breaks the Curse state and restores their freedom. (Chapters 743–832, 925–975, 1011–1078)
Body, War Rune, and martial practice
Michael advances through War Rune Tiers by refining the Rune, strengthening his vessel, and later forming an Energy Vortex. Sacred Constitution integrates physical enhancements into a foundation capable of supporting his Soultraits and Curses. High Ascension with Origin Sap binds body, mind, soul, and sealed beings more closely while giving Michael authority over which seals open. The Temple's regression then rebuilds him with a Divine Shell, reducing the impurities and structural barriers that would normally make Divine Ascension a separate process. (Chapters 65–104, 197, 485–516, 779–786, 920–930)
His martial skill begins with Daniel's sparring and memory-derived spear experience, then grows through instructors, battles, and extracted memories. The Wicked Spear Arts is the most consequential inherited technique: it turns intense emotion into destructive spear power and can cut curse-infused domains, but it amplifies the very feelings fueling it and risks loss of emotional control. Michael pairs it with Aethyr, Qi, Enhancement, Soul Tears, and cursed support, making its peak output a coordinated state rather than an innate guarantee. (Chapters 6, 15, 173–190, 570–580, 743–762)
Leadership and applied knowledge
Michael's noncombat strength is the ability to translate extracted knowledge into systems. He reads memories for enemy tactics, tailors Soultraits and Soul Techniques, directs specialists according to their actual capabilities, and invests loot into summoning, training, trade, medicine, and territory infrastructure. Links of Loyalty and Taming bonds can carry commands or power, but the narrative repeatedly distinguishes willing cooperation from mere control. His best armies work because Tiara, the Untamed Awakened, Forest Elves, Valyr, beasts, and former rivals have reasons to stay beyond compulsion. (Chapters 35–67, 160–172, 368–435, 651–684, 930–1000)
As Supreme Lord, this administrative capacity becomes cosmological responsibility. Binding the Origin Expanse gives Michael immense access and makes its stability dependent on his survival; it does not free him to ignore downstream consequences. He therefore reconnects Primals, supports protection and education, delegates unknown-domain exploration, and declines to leave the Origin Universe when the Guardians explain what his death might destroy. His latest state is powerful precisely because individual curiosity must now coexist with stewardship. (Chapters 1074–1093, 1099–1123)

Relationships
Daniel Fang
Daniel raises Michael after their parents leave and becomes his model for loyalty, training, and practical care. Daniel's apparent death turns Michael's accumulation of power into a rescue and reckoning. Recovering Daniel's Living Soul, carrying him within the Soul Grimoire, and securing a new vessel restores their teasing partnership without erasing Daniel's independent choices. Michael's later trust in Daniel as the first explorer of the Unknown Domain shows that protection has matured into respect rather than possession. (Chapters 6–7, 256–292, 543–595, 819–853, 1099–1103)
Alice Zenovia
Alice begins as the fierce examiner and instructor who sees Michael's potential before most of High Society. She guides his academy development, negotiates rewards, and repeatedly intervenes without demanding obedience. Their mutual concern becomes romance during the period when Daniel can comment from within Michael, and Michael later rescues Alice from Supreme Human Alliance control. They become long-lived partners and parents; their final conversation frames family and future children as continuations of Michael's life, not distractions from power. (Chapters 5, 68–116, 293–461, 695–705, 925–960, 1119–1123)
Tiara and the Untamed people
Tiara is Michael's first subject and the person who stays beside him after he kills Fenrir. Their Link of Loyalty develops through shared labor and battle, but Michael values her as a person rather than an obedient asset; decades later he respects her choice to prioritize the Silverfangs and refuses to force her relationship with Kaleb. The same principle shapes his wider bonds with Zeroa, Hiraku, and the Untamed Awakened. (Chapters 8–20, 35–67, 368–386, 651–684, 1109–1121)
The God Curses
Jormungandr, Fenrir, and Hel inhabit Michael as sealed powers with their own priorities. Early interactions are struggles over bodily control; later ones become arguments, bargains, instruction, and joint war against the Primals. They protect Michael because their futures are connected, yet he refuses to become a passive vessel. His decision to free them after victory completes the movement from coercive interdependence to chosen alliance. (Chapters 503–550, 685–832, 920–975, 1011–1078)
Family, mentors, friends, and rivals
Hesta shares Michael's Curse heritage, but he rejects her initial excuses for the family's abandonment before accepting training and information from her. Kraft Viton provides trade access, political shelter, and advice that Michael later repays with resources and enduring respect. Kaleb, Zeke, Frederik, Lincoln, and Killian each test a different form of friendship: recovery after corruption, grief after loss, ordinary companionship amid power, and rivalry damaged when Michael's help makes the difference too visible. (Chapters 55–61, 293–339, 478–529, 598–638, 819–919, 1119–1123)
Items
- Aethyr is Michael's adaptable signature Artifact. Its silver alloy can shift among numerous weapon forms, letting his extracted weapon memories and spear techniques answer changing opponents; it remains especially important when channeling Wicked Spear Arts. (Chapters 461–476, 760–762)
- Tigerfang is an early sword given by Daniel. Michael uses it to kill the treacherous Fenrir Summon, making it both practical protection and a marker of his first morally consequential decision as a Lord. (Chapters 6–7, 18)
- The Legendary Ring Artifact supplies dragon might and reinforces Michael's presence, while the Onyx Dragon Armor protects him during his early rise through the Tiers. Both are equipment-derived advantages rather than innate Soultraits. (Chapters 101–104, 173–218, 651)
- Seron Voulge is an early polearm Michael uses for training and combat before Aethyr replaces the need for a fixed primary weapon. Its use against Masked Saber reveals gaps in Michael's technique that superior attributes alone cannot solve. (Chapters 173–190)
- The Tattered Book preserves the account tied to Cleave Fenrir and helps Michael interpret the dream and memories preceding his awakening. It warns him about the ancestor behind his Heroic Summon and later informs his use of Wicked Spear Arts. (Chapters 2, 14–20, 759–760)
- The Keychain Casket becomes associated with preserving Daniel's Living Soul, while the Needle of the Lost Memories removes corrupted memories at the cost of collateral gaps. Together they represent the difference between keeping a person present and fully restoring what was damaged. (Chapters 543–553, 919)
