Chun Yeowun

Chun Yeowun is the seventh prince of the Demonic Cult, whose struggle to survive the succession contest becomes a rise to lordship and power beyond the traditional limits of martial arts.

Biography

An isolated prince and the hidden machine

Born to Lord Chun Yujong and Hwa Yun, a woman outside the six main clans, Yeowun grows up without the political protection enjoyed by the other princes. His mother's death leaves him isolated, and repeated assassination attempts teach him to distrust apparent safety. Shortly before the Demonic Academy opens, an unknown man claiming descent from him arrives from the future and implants the Nano Machine. The system repairs Yeowun's severe wounds and gives him a private analytical assistant, but he immediately recognizes that revealing it would create a new reason for powerful people to seize or kill him. Nano accelerates his access to information, not his social position. Yeowun still enters the academy as the seventh prince with little formal training and almost no faction. He uses scans, muscle-memory transfer, and simulated practice to close that gap, enduring the pain and risk of processes he barely understands. Because a copied motion does not provide internal energy or tactical judgment, his early success depends on persistent training and on learning where the machine's analysis ends and his own decisions begin. Building a faction at the academy

Yeowun's first follower is Hu Bong, a comparatively weak cadet who volunteers before the prince's survival is assured. Yeowun gradually gathers other cadets whom the major heirs overlook and turns the group into a force capable of passing the academy's tests. He shares resources, adjusts instruction to individual aptitudes, and refuses to treat injured or weaker members as disposable. Those choices win loyalty that the six-clan heirs cannot reproduce through status alone. (Chapters 24–65)

During the library trials, Yeowun discovers that five damaged stone pedestals preserve separate traces of a larger sword system. Nano reconstructs their original arrangement and movements, allowing him to recognize weaknesses in the inherited Sword Art of the Sky Demon rather than accepting the institutional version as complete. He uses what he learns to defeat stronger rivals and also turns analysis outward, selecting manuals and training methods suited to his followers. By the later trials, the isolated prince has become the center of a disciplined faction and the cadets around him are developing into the Six Swords. (Chapters 39–113)

Demon Seal Cave and Chun Ma's inheritance

Yeowun enters Demon Seal Cave, a trial from which survival is itself exceptional. He finds the genuine Sky Demon Sword, encounters the remnant will of founder Chun Ma, and confronts the Imoogi bound to the cave. Nano extends his subjective training experience so that instruction which passes in an instant outside can be studied as a long internal interval. The inheritance completes his understanding of the founder's sword force and gives him a claim rooted in Chun Ma's recognition rather than only Chun Yujong's bloodline. (Chapters 114–131)

That inheritance does not end the academy contest automatically. Yeowun must return, demonstrate what he has gained, and defeat the remaining opposition. He combines the true sword art with the faction and reputation built through earlier trials, emerging as the strongest prince and a successor whom the great clans can no longer dismiss. The academy therefore changes both sides of his power: he leaves with exceptional martial knowledge and with followers whose loyalty is personal rather than inherited from their clans. Return to a hostile cult

Back at the Demonic Cult, Yeowun has to convert academy victory into political authority. He seeks the approvals required for succession while investigating elders tied to the six clans. Defeating First Elder Mu Jinwon proves that his claim is supported by force, and winning independent elders to his side gives him support outside the families that engineered the old contest. At the same time, attacks linked to the Blade God Six Martial Clan reveal a threat capable of infiltrating the cult's internal disputes. (Chapters 150–209)

Yeowun initially hopes his father will support the lawful crown prince, but uncovers Chun Yujong's attempts to balance rival factions, delay succession, and control evidence. The conflict forces Yeowun to distinguish preservation of the cult from obedience to its current Lord. His subordinates choose to follow him even if that makes them enemies of Yujong, while Marakim's testimony and the failed poison parasite expose how far the Lord has gone to control the outcome. The true sword and lordship

The succession crisis becomes irreversible when Yeowun reveals the true Sky Demon Sword. Yujong's inherited weapon is a counterfeit, while the genuine sword rejects and burns him when he tries to seize or destroy it. Yeowun defeats the attempt to invoke the Blood God's Reversion Art, interrupting the reversed energy flow before his father can complete the transformation. He is furious at Yujong's treatment of Hwa Yun and at being used as a political piece, even after learning that the Lord had covertly protected him from some of the six clans' attacks. Yeowun survives the Buju Sword conspiracy and the cult's coup, using Huan Yi's disguises and his own faction to penetrate the enemy plan. After taking the throne, he punishes conspirators but does not simply destroy every institution associated with the former regime. He reorganizes the elders around demonstrated ability, places dependable followers in operational roles, and keeps useful people whose service can be separated from their former faction. Lordship broadens his concern from winning succession to making the cult strong enough to withstand the external enemy already moving through Yulin. (Chapters 220–261)

Pursuit through Yulin

Yeowun leaves the cult to investigate the Blade God Six Martial Clan and find the Godly Doctor who may be able to treat Yujong. The journey puts his party among forces that regard the Demonic Cult as an enemy regardless of its current conduct. They cross hostile territory and pirate-controlled waters, protect wounded companions, and pursue evidence through Yulin's competing orthodox and unorthodox networks. Yeowun's direct punishments repeatedly offend martial convention, but he refuses to let reputation take precedence over his people or the mission. (Chapters 262–313)

The encounters expose him to the Blade God clan's hybrid system: reconstructed ancient techniques combined with altered bodies and methods outside ordinary cultivation. Yeowun studies those movements through Nano and works to combine their principles with the Sword Force of the Sky Demon rather than merely copying individual forms. He also learns that technology and medicine can analyze a threat without supplying the insight needed to overcome it, a recurring constraint that pushes him to create solutions of his own. Cold energy and the Imperial Palace

While treating Wang Yogun's dangerous cold-energy condition, Yeowun accepts extreme yin qi into his own body. Its conflict with his yang energy damages him even as Nano repairs his organs. He resolves the crisis by understanding the relationship between the opposing forces and bringing them into balance, causing a second Body Reconstruction and reaching the end stage of the supreme-master realm. The breakthrough is an act of cultivation under pressure, not a medical upgrade automatically delivered by Nano. (Chapters 314–330)

An imperial summons draws him and his followers into a court already infiltrated by the Blade God clan. Yeowun refuses to accept intimidation merely because it comes from the emperor, tracks conspirators through the palace, and descends into the hidden Guardian complex. There he encounters Ran-yeong, the Blood Master, and the Qilin flame preserved beneath the shrine. The enemy intends to leave Demonic Cult traces on corpses and make the cult bear responsibility for the violence, forcing Yeowun to fight both the infiltrators and the political narrative prepared around them. Yeowun's demonic energy responds greedily to the Qilin's core. He approaches through heat intense enough to destroy ordinary protection, using cold energy and Nano's healing while the flame enters his body. Rather than letting incompatible powers tear him apart, he establishes a trinity of demonic, cold, and flame energies and learns to express them separately through his weapons. His black Invisible Sword subsequently kills the perfect-supreme-master Guardian Escort in only a few exchanges, leading witnesses to recognize him as a Divine Master. (Chapters 367–380)

Treaty, coalition, and open war

Yeowun enters the three-faction treaty negotiations as the ruler of a power the Forces of Justice can no longer exclude. When enemies prepare an overwhelming formation against him, he combines Nano's multi-target computation with Air Swords and assigns attacks across the battlefield. The system makes the targeting possible, but Yeowun supplies the extraordinary internal energy that sustains the weapons. Even three supreme masters and a large elite force cannot exhaust him as planned, and the Invisible Sword reveals how completely the balance among the factions has changed. (Chapters 381–400)

His victory is political as well as martial. Recruits are drawn to new Demonic Academy branches by reports of his power, while enemies increasingly use the name Demon God. Yeowun forms temporary cooperation where it serves the fight against the Blade God clan but does not mistake a treaty for trust. He studies unfamiliar modern-style hand-to-hand movements used by altered opponents and adapts their mechanical principles to internal energy, continuing the pattern of absorbing knowledge without accepting the enemy's system whole. The Dragon Turtle and Chun Inji

The struggle then shifts toward spirit beasts and the factions seeking their cores. In the North Sea, Yeowun confronts the Dragon Turtle and future equipment whose defensive and destructive capacity differs from traditional martial weapons. He gains and learns to use the Gatelinium Nano Suit, which expands his mobility and protection without making him immune to sufficient force. The Dragon Turtle's death and contested core show that these creatures are being harvested as strategic sources of energy, not encountered as isolated monsters. (Chapters 413–429)

The campaign also recovers Chun Inji, Yeowun's missing grandfather and a former Lord whose disappearance shaped Yujong's reign. For Yeowun, the reunion is both personal and political: Inji can explain part of the older conflict, but he also sees the kind of ruler his grandson has become. Yeowun's concern for fallen followers exists beside ruthless treatment of enemies, leading Inji to recognize a combination of severity and compassion rather than a simple heroic temperament. Changbai Mountain and the Blade God

Yeowun advances on Changbai Mountain as orthodox forces, spirit-beast powers, and the Blade God clan converge. He breaks coordinated resistance and continues absorbing cores whose energies would ordinarily be incompatible. The White Tiger's power, the Great Bird's power, and the earlier Imoogi, Qilin, and Dragon Turtle energies expand the elemental forces within him, while Nano and the future suit help him survive the physical strain. Each absorption increases his reserves, but control still depends on the balance he learned through earlier breakthroughs. (Chapters 441–469)

His confrontation with the Blade Lord places two radically developed martial paths against each other. Yeowun uses reconstructed traditional inheritance, elemental energy, Nano-assisted analysis, and techniques he has created from opposing systems. He is willing to maim or kill those responsible for massacres, yet still recovers bodies and protects his own people rather than treating victory as the only cost that matters. The battle leaves the Blade Lord wounded but does not end the future-linked conspiracy. (Chapters 441–469)

Five cores and the Time Jet

Future special forces arrive with weapons, powered suits, and the Time Jet, confirming the origin of the technology implanted in Yeowun. Their equipment is capable of injuring powerful martial artists and disrupting nanomachines, but the soldiers underestimate how far Yeowun's cultivation has gone. He defeats their units while trying to understand why descendants from another era are intervening in his history. (Chapters 470–481)

After absorbing five spirit-beast cores, Yeowun's internal energy becomes immense enough for him to pull the airborne Time Jet toward the ground and freeze its engine while simultaneously defending himself with an Invisible Sword. The supplied translation calls this state the Heavenly Master level, after earlier witnesses had identified his post-Qilin state as Divine Master. The scene establishes a further culmination of his five-core power without explaining a complete formal hierarchy between those labels. The wounded Blade Lord then seizes the jet during the final struggle, leaving Yeowun's confrontation with the future unresolved at the end of the supplied corpus. (Chapters 482–483)

Appearance and personality

Yeowun is repeatedly described as pale, youthful, and composed, often keeping a calm expression while those around him are unsettled by his power. His controlled energy can make him appear less dangerous than he is, while released demonic force creates an oppressive presence associated with the title Demon God. Future armor can cover or visually conceal him, but it is equipment rather than his natural appearance.

Years of assassination attempts make Yeowun guarded and pragmatic. He tests motives, hides decisive advantages, and rarely grants an enemy a second opportunity to threaten his people. Betrayal, torture, and attacks on his faction can draw punishments that are deliberately brutal. This severity is not indiscriminate: followers win his protection because he refuses to abandon people who have entrusted their lives to him, and he repeatedly spends time, resources, or personal risk to save the injured.

Yeowun is also intensely curious and adaptable. He does not treat Nano's answers as mystical commands; he asks questions, trains against simulations, and combines information from rival traditions into methods that fit his own body. As a ruler, the same trait makes him willing to reorganize inherited offices and cooperate temporarily with old enemies. His weakness is the inverse of his loyalty: threats to companions or family can provoke immediate, personal violence before diplomacy has a chance to work.

Martial arts and abilities

Cultivation and realm progression

Yeowun begins the academy with little developed martial training but uses the Black Dragon Ball, breathing methods, repeated combat, and reconstructed inheritance to build an unusually strong foundation. His growth is accelerated by Nano's ability to monitor his body and provide efficient practice, yet each major realm still requires energy, comprehension, and physical adaptation. The system cannot manufacture internal energy or simply declare him a master. (Chapters 5–38, 46–69, and 108–149)

While treating Wang Yogun, Yeowun learns to balance extreme yin and yang within himself. The resolution triggers Body Reconstruction and brings him to the end stage of the supreme-master realm, where energy returns toward its origin and can be controlled with far greater efficiency. Absorbing and harmonizing the Qilin flame later lets him create the Invisible Sword associated by witnesses with Divine Master cultivation. By Chapter 482, after taking in five spirit-beast cores, the translation describes him as a Heavenly Master with reserves great enough to contest the Time Jet's thrust through remote force. Nano-assisted learning and its limits

Nano can scan a technique, transfer a recorded movement into muscle memory, create training simulations, enhance Yeowun's senses, calculate trajectories, and repair physical damage. These functions shorten observation and repetition dramatically. They do not provide the internal energy behind a technique, replace the tactical choices of live combat, or solve every cultivation conflict. When yin and yang tear at his organs, for example, Nano repairs damage continuously while Yeowun himself discovers how to balance the energies. (Chapters 6, 33, 40, 318, and 329–330)

Yeowun's strongest applications combine both partners' distinct contributions. Nano's panel system can lock onto many opponents, but Yeowun forms and powers the Air Swords. The future Gatelinium Nano Suit gives armor, flight, environmental protection, energy absorption, and concealment, yet it can crack under extreme martial force and its nanomachines can be disrupted by powerful electromagnetic energy. His technology is therefore a versatile force multiplier rather than an explanation for every achievement or an absolute defense. (Chapters 363, 396, 423–429, 444, and 462–475)

Sword Art and Sword Force of the Sky Demon

The institutional Sword Art of the Sky Demon has been passed down in an incomplete form. Yeowun uses Nano to reconstruct the positions and movement traces preserved across five library pedestals, exposing gaps and vulnerabilities in the version known to the cult. Within Demon Seal Cave, Chun Ma's remnant instruction and the true Sky Demon Sword deepen that reconstruction into the founder's genuine inheritance. The resulting art combines precise sword formations with black demonic force qi and becomes both a combat system and proof that Yeowun's claim exceeds ordinary succession law. Yeowun does not remain bound to one physical sword. He can project sword qi, wield Air Swords remotely, coat weapons in elemental energy, and eventually form an Invisible Sword without a material medium. The Invisible Sword aggregates intangible energy into a weapon capable of piercing a perfect supreme master's layered defense. At large scale, he combines many Air Swords with Nano's targeting to pursue different enemies independently, though the computation and the destructive energy come from different sources. (Chapters 332, 378, and 395–397)

Blade arts and hybrid formations

Yeowun also learns blade systems, including Submeng's Butterfly Dance Blade, and studies records such as the Sword Demon Skill Books. His decisive innovation comes from analyzing the Blade God Six Martial Clan's altered movements and comparing them with the Sword Force of the Sky Demon and the bodily principles exposed by the Blood Reversion Art. Nano can model the component motions, but forming a coherent new sequence is difficult because the systems distribute force differently. (Chapters 83–113 and 279–287)

The completed hybrid lets Yeowun answer techniques designed to overcome traditional martial assumptions. It is not simple mimicry: he modifies muscle use, tests formations, and creates transitions that let sword-force principles coexist with the Blade God clan's methods. His later ability to interpret boxing, taekwondo, jiu-jitsu, and capoeira through internal-energy mechanics follows the same pattern of learning—reduce movement to principles, then rebuild it for a cultivator's body. Elemental trinity

Yeowun first gains extreme cold energy during the effort to save Wang Yogun. Instead of merely storing it, he learns to balance its yin nature against yang energy, making cold qi a stable part of his cultivation. He can channel it through the White Dragon Blade, freeze material and machinery, project it at range, and use it defensively against heat. Its first absorption nearly destroys his organs, demonstrating that possession without balance is dangerous. (Chapters 314–330, 367–368, and 482)

The Flame Qilin Core adds an opposing flame so hot that ordinary energy shielding fails. Yeowun's demonic energy absorbs the Qilin power, and he deliberately establishes equilibrium among demonic, cold, and flame qi. He can express black frost through one weapon and black flame through another at the same time, or use the combined state to amplify sword techniques. This trinity is the cultivation breakthrough immediately preceding his use of the Invisible Sword. (Chapters 367–378)

Spirit-beast cores

Yeowun's body ultimately contains power associated with the Imoogi Core, Flame Qilin Core, Dragon Turtle Core, Great Bird Core, and White Tiger Core. Each core carries a distinct spirit-beast energy rather than adding an interchangeable quantity of qi. Earlier experience balancing incompatible forces, together with Nano's monitoring and the suit's support, allows him to survive accumulations that would kill an ordinary martial artist. (Chapters 114–131, 367–368, and 413–482)

The cores provide immense reserves and elemental effects, but the story does not treat them as five separate techniques that activate without control. Their culminating demonstration is integrated: Yeowun remotely drags the Time Jet downward, blocks future ammunition with an Invisible Sword, and freezes the engine to counter its increased output. The scene depends on accumulated power, cultivated remote control, elemental application, and simultaneous attention rather than on one core alone. (Chapter 482)

Remote force, perception, and battlefield control

At higher realms, Yeowun can create force qi without a material medium, move weapons through the air, change direction while stepping in open space, and conceal his own energy so completely that experienced masters struggle to read him. Nano adds night vision, wide-field protection from blinding light, trajectory calculation, and multi-target panels. Together these abilities let him track infiltrators, fight in hostile environments, and control a battlefield far larger than the reach of a hand-held weapon. (Chapters 318, 331–332, 362–367, and 390–397)

Remote control still consumes attention and energy. Enemies at the treaty battle expect his mass Air Swords to exhaust him, a reasonable limit even though they radically underestimate his reserves. When he pulls the Time Jet, increased engine output makes the task harder and forces him to use cold energy against the craft rather than relying on telekinetic force alone. His scale of power is extraordinary, but the text continues to show resistance, countermeasures, and the need to combine abilities. (Chapters 396–397 and 482)

Leadership and instruction

Yeowun can analyze a follower's aptitude, select an appropriate manual, simplify breathing principles, and use reconstructed knowledge to improve group training. He does not make every subordinate identical; the Six Swords develop different specialties, and later officers such as Hu Bong carry responsibilities matching their loyalty and experience. This ability to distribute knowledge is one reason his personal faction becomes an institution capable of surviving beyond his immediate protection. (Chapters 39–65, 108, and 124–149)

As Lord, he applies the same adaptive reasoning to organization. He restructures the elder system around ability, uses Huan Yi's intelligence and disguise expertise, negotiates when cooperation strengthens the cult, and leads directly when followers are endangered. His command is supported by overwhelming force, but its durability comes from reciprocal loyalty: followers obey because he has repeatedly refused to discard them.
