Mun Ku

Mun Ku is the granddaughter of the neutral Dragon Fist Clan's leader, a skilled academy cadet who lives under a male disguise, and one of Chun Yeowun's closest companions. Her story joins martial advancement with a sustained effort to protect her vulnerable clan and keep other factions from deciding her allegiance and marriage for her.

Biography

Protecting the Clan in Disguise

Mun Ku's father is killed before she and her twin brother are born, and her mother dies during the difficult birth. Her brother Mun Yu survives with a mental disability, leaving a clan that traditionally passes leadership through men vulnerable to enemies who might exploit its future successor. Mun Ku enters the academy in her brother's face so her performance can discourage the six clans from pressuring the family. She uses a different name as a final precaution, ensuring that exposure will not directly disgrace Mun Yu or the clan. (Chapter 85)

She enters already among the academy's strongest cadets but avoids its princely factions. Joining one claimant would commit the neutral Dragon Fist Clan before its leaders choose a side. That neutrality leaves her isolated: Chun Yuchan injures her and blocks her from the groups that make academy survival easier. Outside the academy, Mun Ku is pressured toward a marriage with Chun Mukeum. Palace Guard service formalizes Mun Ku's place in Yeowun's inner circle. She prepares to travel outside the cult, protects the Lord and his allies, and participates in fights where ranged force matters as much as fist contact. Against Yogun, she works alongside Hou Sangwha, protects her body with internal energy, releases an energy bullet, and gathers force qi around her hands. Future Lineage

Mun Ku recognizes future descendant Chun Mu-seong and honors Yeowun's request to remain silent, even when the revelation could answer questions about their own future. During the Time Jet crisis, Yeowun imagines Mun Ku with a child, linking their relationship to the bloodline that eventually sends Nano into the past. Appearance and personality

Mun Ku's true appearance is that of a beautiful young woman, but for much of her academy life she wears a shock-resistant pigskin mask that changes her apparent face and skin color. At established grandmaster level, Mun Ku can coat her bare hands in force qi and meet Chun Kungwun's sword formation directly. She cannot maintain that output beyond one formation at the time: the clash exhausts her energy, extinguishes the force qi, and leaves her arm exposed until Yeowun intervenes.
