Ko Wanghur

Ko Wanghur is a massive Demon Fist Clan warrior who chooses Chun Yeowun when the heir's academy faction appears almost hopeless. He becomes an early pillar of the Six Swords, rises to Superior Master, and later survives corruption by White Tiger energy with Yeowun's help.

Biography

Choosing the Weakest Faction

Ko Wanghur enters the academy as the 857th cadet and already possesses top-class internal energy. His enormous frame and Demon Fist training would make him valuable to any prince, yet he remains when most cadets abandon Yeowun's apparently hopeless group. He understands that the choice may bring punishment from stronger factions and still accepts Yeowun as master. The decision gives the small group a stable front-line fighter before Yeowun has status, resources, or an expectation of victory. (Chapters 45–46)

His early loyalty is active rather than ceremonial. Wanghur weighs the danger facing the group, stands between weaker members and hostile cadets, and is prepared with Bakgi to interrupt a formal examination when they think Yeowun may die. First Sword of the Six Swords

Wanghur advances from master to established grandmaster and then Super Master as Yeowun's faction survives the academy. His Demon Fist background makes barehanded close combat his principal specialty. Later battles show him raising blue force qi around his fist and coordinating that release with the other Six Swords. His response relies on Demon Fist fundamentals reinforced by higher cultivation. At Changbai Mountain, Wanghur and Hou Sangwha help cut open the White Tiger's exceptionally hard carcass while searching for its core. Wanghur is exceptionally tall, broad, and muscular, making him the first person strangers often notice. Beneath that intimidating appearance he is cautious, respectful, and intensely loyal.
