Sword Demon Skill Books
The Sword Demon Skill Books are the manuscripts hidden in the Demonic Academy's underground treasure vault for a successor capable of passing the sixth test. They preserve the Sword Demon's martial legacy as physical records rather than merely as clan tradition.
History
The Sixth-Test Inheritance
After Chun Yeowun passes the sixth test, Lee Hameng admits him to the hidden vault. Yeowun finds the Sword Demon's true martial records, including the True Demon Sword, the Twenty Four Demon Sword, and analysis of the Blade God's markings. Nano scans their contents, allowing Yeowun to retain the knowledge without removing the books. (Chapter 138)
A Contested Legacy
Yeowun later uses the existence of the manuscripts to explain how he can transmit the Sword Demon's authentic teachings to Yin Moha. The books therefore become evidence in the conflict among rival clans claiming the Sword Family's legacy. (Chapters 177–181)
Destruction in the Vault
Intruders enter the underground vault during the Blade God Six Martial plot. The books are not found in the stolen satchel; when the vault is inspected, the manuscripts have been burned. Their physical destruction does not erase the techniques already scanned by Nano. (Chapters 206–207)
Abilities and properties
- Preserve complete martial forms, principles, and the Sword Demon's attempts to counter the Blade God. (Chapter 138)
- Serve as a transmission medium; the books themselves do not grant mastery without training or, in Yeowun's case, Nano's analysis. (Chapters 138 and 178)
