Great Bird Core

The Great Bird Core is the wind-and-cold-aligned spirit core whose power is stored in the North Sea Ice Palace's Ice Cold Staff. Its concealed location makes the palace artifact one of the keys to the wider race for five spirit-beast cores.

History

Power inside the Ice Cold Staff

After the Ice Cold Staff accepts Chun Yeowun, Nano detects spiritual energy within it. Yeowun absorbs the Great Bird's power from the staff after taking the Dragon Turtle Core, leaving the golden artifact available to be returned to Dan Jucheon. (Chapter 433)

The Five-Core Plan

Chun Inji explains that the Blade God Six Martial Clan is seeking the remaining spirit-beast cores, while the Blade Lord is also associated with the Great Bird's power. Yeowun's acquisition keeps that power from completing the enemy plan. (Chapters 434 and 437)

Final Integration

By the confrontation with the future forces, the Great Bird Core is counted among the five cores incorporated into Yeowun's body and internal energy. (Chapters 461 and 482)
