About the novel

Breakers follows Joo In-gong after he awakens as Shutra Ignus, the weakest prince in the world of the game Knight Saga. He remembers a future in which Zephyr destroys the royal family and initially seeks only enough strength to avoid being killed. The protagonist-like interface attached to Shutra and In-gong's knowledge of hidden events let him intervene early, but the allies he saves quickly become reasons to prevent the catastrophe altogether.

Beginning with the orc retainer Carack, In-gong gathers siblings, aides, and King's Knights who would have stood on opposing sides of the original scenario. His identity as the Conquest Knight places him against the Four Riders of the Apocalypse and forces him to reconsider what conquest should mean. The campaign to preserve the Demon World becomes a test of whether inherited roles can be transformed through chosen relationships.

World and powers

The Demon World contains multiple species, royal factions, territories, temples, elder dragons, and powers associated with the Demon King. Aura, magic, divine authority, racial traits, equipment, and training coexist with the status interface visible to In-gong. His accelerated growth helps him catch up from an abnormally weak starting body but still depends on acquiring skills and surviving battles appropriate to each advancement.

Conquest grants authority over companions and supports the appointment of King's Knights and Apostles, yet its strongest expression relies on willing bonds rather than domination. Beast Authority, Divine Sura power, dragon inheritance, and exceptional equipment broaden In-gong's combat options. The Riders embody opposing apocalyptic forces, making the balance among inherited powers central to the world's continued existence.
