Earth Quaker

Earth Quaker is a steel gauntlet enchanted by the elder dragon Enkidu and aligned with his power of destruction. It recognizes In-gong after he conquers the Thunder Light Anvil and becomes the principal focus for his strongest close-range destructive attacks.

History

Enkidu's Relic and a New Owner

Earth Quaker waits in a secret chamber behind the Thunder Light Anvil. The dwarves had been unable to remove it because they lacked Enkidu's permission, but the gauntlet accepts In-gong after his conquest of the anvil and explicitly changes its registered user to Shutra. It disassembles and reforms around his right arm at a perfect fit. The relic soon reacts to other traces of the elder dragons and reveals that it is not operating at a fixed strength: it restrains itself to match In-gong, then transforms to a higher state when his dragon-humanoid body develops. This makes his later growth part of the artifact's usable output rather than a transfer to a different weapon. (Chapters 35, 45, 52, and 58)

Amita's Tuning and Gigantic

In-gong retains ownership while placing Earth Quaker in Amita's temporary workshop custody for tuning. The adjusted gauntlet glows through black scales and accepts In-gong's aura faster and more efficiently, making the elder-dragon equipment feel rebuilt for him rather than merely fitted around him. Its Gigantic output temporarily calls additional parts around the gauntlet to form a giant fist. That transformation requires In-gong to pour a large amount of aura into Earth Quaker, so it is a high-output combat configuration rather than a permanent increase in physical size. The gauntlet continues to respond to Dragon Blood and to In-gong's destructive techniques throughout the coalition campaigns. (Chapters 100, 107–110, 115, 120, and 134)

Fairy Core and the War against Destruction

After the first fairy king's specter is defeated, Sylvia gives In-gong the fragment of the fairy that has become tinged with his magic power. Amita embeds the fragment in Earth Quaker as a green jewel. It functions as a controllable magic-power generator, although In-gong notes that a single fragment produces less than the complete fairy; Amita describes the result as a rise from SS to SSS rank, which is their assessment rather than an independently defined scale. Earth Quaker later helps break Shutenberg's sword through True Destruction, appears beside In-gong during his resurrection ceremony, and remains active against the red dragon. In the final battle, Great Enkidu supplies power through the gauntlet and its True Destruction tears a large wound into the dragon's spiritual body without destroying it outright. Abilities and properties

• Earth Quaker contains Great Enkidu's destructive power and can channel In-gong's aura, magic power, divinity, Dragon Blood, and related techniques through a right-handed strike. The gauntlet empowers these attacks but does not make every technique it carries an innate function of the item. (Chapters 45, 57, 134, 191, and 215)
• The relic recognizes an authorized owner and can disassemble, reform, and resize itself around that user. Its early power is self-limited to match In-gong, while stronger transformations become available as he develops. (Chapters 35, 52, and 58)
• Gigantic briefly manifests extra components as a giant fist through instantaneous output. It requires a substantial aura investment and is used as a concentrated impact form rather than continuously maintained armor. (Chapter 120)
• True Destruction, identified later as Earth Quaker's super special move, concentrates destructive force through In-gong's fist. It can shatter Shutenberg's magically reinforced sword and wound the red dragon's spiritual body, but it can be opposed by comparable destructive magic and does not guarantee a killing blow. (Chapters 190, 215, and 227)
• The embedded fairy fragment generates magic power compatible with In-gong and is easier for him to control because it is stained with his power or because it is housed in Earth Quaker. The source leaves the exact reason unresolved and explicitly notes that the fragment's output is below that of the whole fairy. (Chapters 194 and 196)
