Kim Hajin

Kim Hajin is the author of the unfinished novel that became his new reality. He awakens as an unnamed extra, synchronizes with the identity that the world had assigned to Kim Chundong, and regains his own name and face. Although he begins by treating the setting as a story that he must clear in order to return home, his interventions create relationships and responsibilities that make that goal steadily less simple. He becomes a Cube cadet, the Jeronimo mercenary Fenrir, the notorious archer Black Lotus, the Tower of Wish player Extra7, and ultimately one of the people most responsible for defeating Baal. Kim Hajin and the original Kim Chundong—also called Kim Spring or Kindspring in Akatrina—remain distinct people even when later synchronization gives Hajin access to parts of Chundong's emotions and history. (Chapters 4–5, 147, 167, 302, 365)

Biography

Cube and the changing story

Hajin first understands his predicament when his laptop shows his own reflection and announces that Kim Chundong has synchronized with Kim Hajin. The accompanying Authority, Setting Intervention, lets him spend Story Points to alter himself or non-living targets. His first priority is to return to his original world, but he concludes that doing so requires enough authority to reach the story's ending. He therefore creates an evolving version of Master Sharpshooter rather than a stronger static Gift, accepting immediate weakness in exchange for future growth, and decides that he cannot remain a spectator if his actions are the source of Story Points. (Chapters 4–5)

At Cube, Hajin turns authorial knowledge into preparation. He invests in companies whose future he knows, pursues the formless weapon Aether in the Gari Mountain dungeon, and studies characters whom he once knew only through his own notes. His knowledge is incomplete: he recognizes that the co-author has changed events and that every intervention can distort the plot further. The Evandel incident makes that tension concrete. Hajin secures both Aether and Evandel's Seed, kills the hostile spirit body that had formed around the seed with light-attributed Stigma, and later assumes responsibility when the child Evandel hatches after Rachel's blood nurtures her. (Chapters 10, 30, 64–66)

Hajin also begins changing the central cast rather than merely following them. He pushes Chae Nayun away from archery and toward the sword that better fits her talent, supports Rachel during Cube's final examination, and uses his knowledge of the Butterfly Seedling to guide Rachel toward an enlightenment without openly claiming credit. He recognizes the disguised Chameleon Troupe leader through Jain's transformation and prevents other cadets from provoking her. These choices preserve lives and create trust, but they also bind him to people he originally expected to leave behind; by the time he becomes Evandel's guardian, his supposedly temporary life has already acquired a family. (Chapters 39–40, 59, 64–66)

Guild ties and the recorded past

During Cube's guild experience, Hajin joins Essence of the Strait while anticipating Park Sangho's betrayal. He quietly supplies information, equipment, and warnings to Yoo Yeonha, while his unexplained competence leads Yoo Jinhyuk to connect him to the Kwang-Oh Incident. Hajin himself does not possess the missing survivor's memories, but the false yet plausible past attached to his identity begins influencing how others understand him. At the same time, he keeps emotional distance from Chae Nayun: he refuses her offer of friendship because he knows he may leave the world and because he already expects that he will one day kill the person she loves most. (Chapters 67–68, 76)

Hajin uses the Book of Truth and his information network to redirect people who were enemies in his draft. He identifies Tomer as Jamer, learns about the coercion surrounding her father, and tries to give her a reason to choose a different side. His work also brings him closer to the Chameleon Troupe. On an overseas Jeronimo operation he cooperates with Boss, gaining first-hand knowledge of the group he intends to turn into an ally against future Devils and Djinns. His methods are calculating—he trades information, money, and carefully chosen help—but the help is real, and Tomer's later decisions no longer follow the villainous route he remembers. (Chapters 77, 96, 99)

The Recorded Past forces Hajin to live with the human weight of those calculations. Trapped for roughly ninety subjective days, he fights Asura's forces, protects the cursed Yoo Yeonha, and helps his companions endure a history in which injuries and deaths are not harmless reconstructions. He gives Chae Nayun a time capsule and sends her home before returning himself, shaken by the realization that the people he killed in that world remain dead. Only hours have passed outside, but he has missed Evandel and experienced the past as lived time rather than disposable plot. Soon afterward, Boss gives him a Jeronimo identity and the codename Fenrir, and Hajin resolves to get closer to her before Chae Jinyoon awakens as a Devil. (Chapters 104–108)

Hidden truths and the Chameleon Troupe

Hajin's growing reputation conceals rather than simplifies his identity. The Chameleon Troupe reviews footage of him killing twenty opponents in seconds and mistakenly theorizes that his strength comes from a weapon Gift and an anti-magic body. Yoo Yeonha's investigation meanwhile interprets the fabricated Kwang-Oh history as Hajin's personal tragedy. Hajin does not correct these conclusions, partly because he lacks a truthful explanation that would not expose the world as his novel. He continues to prepare: he asks Yoo Yeonha to refine specialized ammunition, develops additional streaks of Stigma, and uses the Book of Truth to solve situations that foreknowledge alone no longer covers. (Chapters 108, 112, 117, 121)

The crisis around Chae Jinyoon becomes Hajin's defining moral wound. He learns that the Devil's Seed inside Jinyoon is not an illness but a parasite that will take over his body. Hajin initially hesitates because killing Jinyoon will devastate Chae Nayun, but the seed begins materializing before him. Jinyoon briefly suppresses the Devil, destroys his own shoulder to hold back his transformed arm, and accepts what must happen. Hajin apologizes and fires a god-slaying bullet that destroys the seed along with its host. The killing prevents the Devil's emergence, yet Hajin chooses to carry the blame without telling Nayun the reason, believing that she cannot yet survive the truth. (Chapters 125–126)

That choice destroys his place at Cube. Jain leaves evidence that lets Chae Nayun associate the killer with Hajin, and Yoo Yeonha confronts him with her own suspicions. During Cube's subsequent disaster Hajin still protects Nayun, but he no longer believes he can become a Hero or continue living beside her as if nothing happened. He withdraws from Cube, asks Kim Suho not to explain the truth to Nayun, and joins the Chameleon Troupe. He admits that he is a murderer too, yet his purpose is not surrender: he wants to make the troupe a decisive ally in the coming conflicts and uses Stigma to turn its hideout into a genuine home. (Chapters 137, 140, 143)

Three years later and the Tower of Wish

Over the next three years Hajin grows into the mercenary Fenrir and the feared terrorist-hunter Black Lotus. He works with the Chameleon Troupe, attacks criminal organizations in Pandemonium, trains his evolving Gifts, raises Evandel, and improves the troupe's sanctuary. The period also deepens his bond with Boss, who works beside him rather than remaining a future antagonist in his outline. His aliases serve different purposes: Fenrir is Jeronimo's codename, while Black Lotus is the masked long-range combatant whose destructive attacks make hostile groups fear the Chameleon Troupe. Neither should be confused with the separate wolf familiar also named Fenrir. (Chapters 147, 154–155)

When the Tower of Wish appears, Hajin seeks a black entrance ticket because it grants an extra skill and because the Tower contains powers capable of changing the world's balance. He enters as Extra7, chooses the highest-difficulty tutorial, accepts severe restrictions on his outside abilities, and takes Random Dice as his bonus skill. He uses his knowledge of the Tower's design, but the system repeatedly reminds him that knowledge does not grant immunity: forbidden uses of Stigma draw warnings, equipment cannot simply be smuggled inside, and death during the tutorial is final. Even so, he finishes the tutorial at the top of its ranking and uses his gains to help the people he meets rather than treating its residents as expendable NPCs. (Chapters 155–162)

On the lower floors Hajin develops an economy and a craft-based fighting style. He protects and employs Henry and Kiri, builds equipment in his waiting room, and finds dwarven records with the Book of Truth. Their enlightenment transforms his Dexterity into Young Dwarf's Dexterity, giving him recipes and craftsmanship that become as important as marksmanship. By the time he meets Medea, Black Lotus has become the Tower's dominant mystery, credited with destroying control towers from range. Hajin chooses the evolving Orb of Regeneration and Mystic Key over immediate skills, preferring tools whose utility and growth will matter in later crises. (Chapters 163–168, 183)

The Tower's ascent and collapse

Hajin's progress through the Tower is defined by using indirect solutions where raw combat would fail. When Boss loses control against Bell, Hajin combines anti-magic Stigma, Bullet Time, and precise gunfire to force Bell into material form without hitting her, then uses the Orb of Regeneration to stabilize her after the fight. He uses the Mystic Key to bypass restraints and quest procedures, shares information and equipment with allies, and teaches techniques through Stigma. His Black Lotus reputation grows because observers see impossible arrows and destroyed strongholds, while few realize that the same person is also Extra7, the trader and craftsman guiding acquaintances through messages. (Chapters 186, 194–203)

The Tower also makes Hajin confront identities that predate his arrival. He encounters traces of Kim Chundong and learns that the life he replaced is not an empty placeholder. At the same time, he continues building Crevon and its people into a force capable of surviving beyond their assigned floor. His investment in NPC allies is strategic—he expects future Devils—but it is also an acknowledgment that they are people. When the Tower's later ordeals turn Players against one another, he saves opponents whom the scenario expects him to kill and prepares routes that let trapped Heroes escape rather than accepting the rules of the Demon Colosseum. (Chapters 218–223, 241–248)

Outside the Tower, Kurukuru attacks Boss during the Chameleon Troupe's Pandemonium campaign. Hajin reverses three minutes to undo her death, warns her to transform, and is killed in her place when Kurukuru changes targets. His Clockhand of Fate restores his body to its condition before death, but the resurrection has limited lifetime uses and does not erase the experience from Boss's memory. By the Tower's end, Hajin leaves the final conquest to Kim Suho and prepares to meet his allies openly as Kim Hajin rather than Black Lotus. Chae Nayun separately learns from Chae Jinyoon's corpse that her brother resisted the Devil and that his killer hesitated, beginning the long process by which Hajin's concealed choice can finally be understood. (Chapters 235–237, 248–249)

Orden and the war for humanity

With Orden's humanoid monsters becoming the next global threat, Hajin uses his money, networks, and Black Lotus persona to prepare humanity. He and Boss assassinate a politician who accepted Orden's bribes, and he coordinates information with Yoo Yeonha rather than depending only on the Book of Truth. Chae Nayun learns both the reason for Jinyoon's death and the Kwang-Oh account attached to Hajin; she is told, incorrectly, that he is a Returner because that explanation fits his foreknowledge. Hajin meanwhile remains unable to explain the more disruptive truth: he is an author who replaced Kim Chundong, and the supposed past of “Kim Hajin” belongs to that displaced identity. (Chapters 250, 266)

Jin Sahyuk pulls Hajin and several Heroes into Akatrina's Recorded Past. There he helps the surviving Plerion state recover, supports the young Prihi as she accepts refugees and learns to rule, and pushes Jin Sahyuk to see a version of kingship different from her own. The journey reveals information about Kim Chundong's former life and intensifies Hajin's synchronization with him without merging the two into one person. In the battle against the materialized Devil Morax, Hajin combines his rifle, Aether, Algorithm, medicinal enhancements, partial Devilization, Stigma, and Overclocking. The shot inflicts almost all of the Devil's damage, but overclocking beyond his stored streaks costs three years of his lifespan and leaves him vomiting blood. (Chapters 258–267)

Hajin returns to Orden's war with new allies and a clearer sense of his limits. He creates Buster Call to summon loyal Tower forces, supports the operation against Orden, and reaches the throne room with Chae Nayun and Jin Sahyuk. Nayun identifies him as Extra7 and therefore as the person who repeatedly saved her in the Tower; Hajin does not run from the confrontation, but postpones it until the battle is over. When Orden prepares a devastating explosion, Hajin uses foresight and a high-rank card to move key fighters into a time-accelerated bunker and sends others to Genkelope's Vessel. His contribution is preservation and coordination as much as damage, enabling the surviving Heroes to continue the operation that ends Orden's reign. (Chapters 275–299)

Aftermath and Akatrina's remembered past

After Orden's defeat, Jin Sahyuk warns Hajin that Yi Yeonjun—the former Chameleon Troupe leader believed dead—has returned and intends to kill him. Hajin asks whether she still considers him Kindspring; she no longer does, but recognizes a real connection, while synchronization alerts warn Hajin not to lose himself in Chundong's remaining emotions. He accepts her protection without abandoning his own responsibility for Boss, sending Spartan to monitor Yi Yeonjun and keep her safe. His anti-magic body and Black Lotus Uniform also let him enter Evandel's magic-saturated forest, where most people could not safely go, reconnecting him with the family he has repeatedly risked leaving. (Chapter 302)

The Demon Realm Gate then inserts Hajin into the world where Baal first descended. Dimensional rejection suppresses his Gifts and removes his equipment, leaving him an F-rank common soldier with a crossbow. Rather than assuming the scenario will protect him, he writes down four practical goals: regain his strength, find the other Heroes, locate Bell, recover the Desert Eagle, Aether, and the Misteltein bullet, and annihilate Baal. He climbs from that deliberately weak role through training, information gathering, crafting, and alliances, eventually reuniting with Boss. Their dependence becomes personal as well as tactical, while Hajin learns that Prince Krisbell is Bell and Baal's incarnation body. (Chapters 317–321)

Shimurin's dimensional research becomes the key to restoring Hajin's real arsenal. Completing high-level quests returns Aether, the Desert Eagle, the full Black Lotus Uniform, and his ammunition, ending the period in which he had to rebuild from an F-rank identity. His recovered gunplay is immediately decisive against massed monsters: even while his Gift remains partially restricted, he turns the Desert Eagle into a machine gun, calculates paths through thousands of targets, and uses Dimensional Entropy in an enhanced grenade. The episode demonstrates the distinction between his tools and his Gift—the equipment magnifies him, but his perception, trajectory control, and willingness to prepare are what let one shot strike many enemies. (Chapters 324–325)

The peace conference and Baal's descent

Hajin returns to Earth as preparations for the Transnational Peace Conference begin, carrying information that Yi Yeonjun wants to succeed Bell as Baal's incarnation. He conceals his Kim Hajin identity behind Black Lotus when necessary, tracks Yi Yeonjun with a spirit-power Observer, and tries to keep him away from Boss. In the recreated first world a failed synthesis destroys the Mystic Key, so he spends Time Reversal to restore it despite the severe depletion of Stigma. He then completes a successful fusion that consumes the Key and creates Athena's Mystic Arrow. The arrow's castle attack disrupts Baal's intended descent, but the resulting weapon is destroyed afterward and gone by the later Earth battle. (Chapters 325, 342–344, 347)

Hajin responds by turning every earlier relationship into a coalition. He proposes using Dimensional Entropy to power a passage from the Tower of Wish, stabilizes and amplifies the machinery with Stigma and Random Consolidation, and enables Crevon's army to descend. He fights as Black Lotus against summoned Devils, recovers enough Stigma to operate from hiding, and helps expose the truth that the world originated as a novel. Yi Yeonjun corners him over his identity as author, but Hajin refuses the premise that he is a god or that the living world remains only a text. Chae Nayun answers Hajin's call for help, and Boss ultimately kills Yi Yeonjun, ending the mission around which the Chameleon Troupe had been rebuilt. (Chapters 347–360)

During the final battle, Hajin accepts his familiar role as distant support but no longer treats “extra” as a reason to avoid responsibility. He equips Chae Nayun for the front line, waits until the Heroes strip away Baal's outer defense, and hides in a crack in Baal's barrier. Then he loads the god-slaying Misteltein bullet, overclocks Stigma far beyond its stored capacity, and fires through Baal's exposed heart. The shot breaks the Desert Eagle and ruins Hajin's body, but it severs Baal's control of the collapsing barrier and gives Kim Suho and the assembled Heroes the opening to finish the fight. Hajin loses consciousness knowing that he may have spent his last resurrection, while the coalition he helped create continues the battle to Baal's annihilation. (Chapters 361–364)

The erased story and its aftermath

After the final arc, Hajin meets the co-author, a Dimensional Author who materialized his unfinished novel after interpreting Hajin's email reply as permission. Hajin is offered a return to his original Earth, but leaving would cause the lesser world to decay; staying will preserve it while stripping him of powers and relationships derived from his authority as author. Hajin chooses the world he now considers home. The resulting evanescence removes his records and most people's memories of him, while taking Master Sharpshooter, Setting Intervention, Stigma, and nearly everything he built through them. The choice is not a triumph without cost: he preserves everyone else by accepting isolation in a world that no longer knows his name. (Chapters 365–367)

The co-author leaves Hajin the diminished Aether, the repaired Desert Eagle, the Black Lotus Uniform, and a coupon for Medicinal Memory Physique. Hajin interprets the remaining Physique as an invitation to save rather than kill. Unable to enter Essential Pharmacy without formal credentials, he travels to gather medicinal effects and becomes a pharmacist in the Swiss Alps, where rumors spread that he can cure otherwise hopeless illnesses. The erasure is imperfect: Evandel and Spartan retain instinctive bonds, while people connected to Kim Chundong's Kwang-Oh history can gradually recover memories of Hajin. Yi Byul finds him first, and others follow rather than leaving him permanently outside their lives. (Chapters 367–375)

Hajin later lives with Yi Byul, Rachel, and Evandel, and reunites with Yoo Yeonha, Chae Nayun, and several former Chameleon Troupe members who remember him. His combat authority does not return; he is known instead as the Miracle Pharmacist, and Yoo Yeonha tries to build a public existence for him through his medicines. Chae Nayun thanks him for saving Jinyoon from becoming a Devil, setting her on the path of the sword, and helping restore her grandfather, but she cannot reduce their bond to friendship: she expects to continue both loving and hating him. Hajin accepts that unresolved future. By the end of the supplied corpus, he is alive, remembered by a limited circle, and committed to living in the world he once believed he only wanted to escape. (Chapters 375–378)

Appearance and personality

Synchronization restores Hajin's original face rather than leaving him in Kim Chundong's body, and the dark laptop screen is the first place he recognizes that fact. The corpus does not give a detailed fixed description of that face; his early presentation is deliberately ordinary beside conspicuously handsome Heroes such as Kim Suho. Years of training and Random Consolidation raise his physique and charm, and he sometimes grows a beard while working as a mercenary. His most distinctive bodily mark is the tattoo-like Stigma on his left upper arm, whose blue magic power travels visibly through his veins when activated. (Chapters 4–5, 21, 154–155)

His masked identities change how others see him. Fenrir is presented as a professional monster-killing mercenary, while Black Lotus wears specialized equipment and uses a bow or extreme-range gunfire, making him seem like an untouchable master archer. The Black Lotus Uniform later adapts itself to his body and provides the silhouette, concealment, and defense associated with the persona. After evanescence removes the author-derived improvements, Hajin becomes slightly shorter and physically weaker, though the uniform adjusts to him and his surviving equipment still lets him protect himself. (Chapters 147, 155, 183, 345, 367)

Hajin is analytical, cautious, and habitually self-deprecating. He prefers information, traps, money, aliases, long range, and escape routes to direct contests, and readily describes himself as a coward or an extra. That caution is not passivity. He repeatedly takes responsibility for dangers only he understands, and his best plans combine other people's strengths instead of insisting on personal glory. His treatment of Henry, Kiri, Crevon, and Akatrina shows his central change: people he first calls NPCs or characters become individuals whose lives cannot be reset without moral consequence. (Chapters 5, 104–106, 163–168, 267, 361)

He can also be manipulative and secretive. Hajin uses foreknowledge to steer Chae Nayun's weapon choice, recruit Tomer, influence the Chameleon Troupe, and conceal Chae Jinyoon's condition. He often decides alone what truths others can bear, causing lasting damage even when his conclusion is defensible. His guilt over Jinyoon, the people killed in the Recorded Past, and his own writing makes him withdraw rather than ask for forgiveness. Yet his protective attachments repeatedly overcome that instinct: he raises Evandel, dies after reversing Boss's death, trusts Yoo Yeonha as a partner, and ultimately accepts erasure rather than sacrifice the world to recover his old life. (Chapters 64–66, 76–77, 104–106, 126, 235–237, 365)

Gifts and abilities

Setting Intervention and authorial authority

Setting Intervention lets Hajin spend Story Points to add or modify settings on himself and on non-living targets. It is the mechanism by which he creates the evolving Master Sharpshooter Gift, improves objects, adds abilities, and later creates specialized Gifts such as Buster Call. Story Points are not free energy: Hajin earns them by affecting the story, and ambitious changes demand prohibitive costs or weaken the resulting setting. The Authority cannot simply rewrite living people, and its connection to his status as author means that he loses it when he chooses to remain in the world after the final arc. (Chapters 5, 20, 267, 365–367)

The associated laptop and system expose information about settings, synchronization, and story changes, but they do not give Hajin a complete script. The co-author alters events, Hajin's own actions create deviations, and many people or histories were never developed in his draft. Consequently, his “author knowledge” is most reliable as a map of premises and future threats, not as omniscience. His mistakes around strengthened enemies, Kim Chundong, the Tower's incomplete settings, and Baal repeatedly force him to investigate and adapt. (Chapters 10, 137, 185, 222–223, 235, 365)

Observation and Reading

Observation and Reading identifies people, objects, settings, and later more complex information through Hajin's sight and devices. Its Book of Truth extension answers written questions and can locate targets, confirm suspicions, or translate unknown writing. The answer depends on how specific the question is and on the Stigma Hajin can pay; broad questions may be unaffordable, and use inside spaces such as the Tower can produce intense backlash. It therefore supplements investigation rather than replacing it. Hajin frequently narrows a problem with ordinary intelligence work before asking the Book to confirm the final proposition. (Chapters 5, 20–21, 77, 168, 235)

Master Sharpshooter

Hajin deliberately makes Master Sharpshooter an evolving Spirit-attribute Gift. It begins with familiarity across long-range weapons, Thousand-Mile Eyes, and a short combat-only Bullet Time. Practice advances its grade and expands both perception and control. By the later arcs he can read terrain on entering a forest, see and target across extraordinary distances, predict movement, bend trajectories, and guide bullets through multiple enemies. The Gift applies to bows, pistols, rifles, and machine guns rather than to one weapon, which is why Black Lotus can plausibly be known as an archer even though Hajin's signature weapon is the Desert Eagle. (Chapters 5, 54, 154, 183, 302, 325)

Bullet Time accelerates Hajin's perception so that the world appears to slow, sometimes activating instinctively when a lethal attack approaches. It lets him select an angle through moving allies, react to extreme speed, and place shots that ordinary sight could not calculate. It is not literal invulnerability: the early version is limited to seconds and a daily activation, comparable sharpshooter Gifts can suppress its advantage, and Kurukuru moves fast enough to act within Hajin's slowed perception and kill him. Hajin's marksmanship is exceptional, but sufficiently fast, concealed, or conceptually protected targets can still defeat it. (Chapters 5, 186, 235–236, 305)

Stigma and spirit power

Stigma is a Creator's authority manifested as marks on Hajin's upper arm. Each streak stores flexible spirit-like magic power that follows his intent, can take physical shapes, carry attributes such as light or anti-magic, reinforce weapons, manipulate projectiles, form barriers, store objects, and transmit techniques. Depleted Stigma regenerates over time, originally across roughly twenty-four hours, and additional streaks appear as Hajin's accumulated Story Points and fame pass thresholds. This versatility makes Stigma the connective power in many of his techniques rather than a limitless substitute for them. (Chapters 20–21, 30, 54, 121, 137)

The finite number of streaks is an important limitation. The Book of Truth consumes portions of them, powerful attacks can use several at once, and Time Reversal can suppress their recovery. Overclocking converts vitality into temporary Stigma, with death explicitly possible if Hajin spends too much. His shot against Morax costs three years of lifespan, and the final shot at Baal overclocks his available power many times over and leaves his body collapsing. Stigma's flexibility is greatest when Hajin has time to prepare; exhaustion or anti-author restrictions can leave him without it. (Chapters 154, 168, 266–267, 343, 347, 364)

Within the Tower, Hajin acquires Complete Understanding of Spirit Power, whose Limit Break and Ultimate Peak temporarily raise his skills and spirit-power efficiency. The related Extraction and Permanent Materialization can absorb attacks or turn extracted things into usable material, while Algorithm amplifies the force and calculation behind his projectiles. These peaks last only minutes and have cooldowns; they do not erase the dependence on Aether, ammunition, or bodily endurance. Later, authorial spirit power can form limited “miracles,” such as the Observer used to track Yi Yeonjun, but those constructs also consume a defined portion of his reserve. (Chapters 194, 235, 331)

Physiques, crafting, and support abilities

Magic Dysfunction Physique prevents Hajin from using ordinary internal magic power normally, but turns that deficit into resistance and physical growth. It helps him pass through magic-saturated spaces and endure effects that disable ordinary Heroes. It does not make him immune to every supernatural attack: conceptually physical weapons, overwhelming force, and powers operating outside ordinary magic can still injure or kill him. The Tower temporarily removes or suppresses the Physique, proving that it is a specific setting rather than an absolute law. (Chapters 21, 154–157, 186, 302)

Random Consolidation System applies a limited random improvement to a target and becomes one of Hajin's main enhancement tools. He repeatedly consolidates Aether, vehicles, weapons, machinery, and crafted goods, while later combining it with Constraints and Amplifications to stabilize the Dimensional Entropy apparatus. The improvement has a capped range and ordinarily requires repeated use; it cannot guarantee the exact result he wants. Hajin's high luck makes it unusually effective, especially alongside Tower skills such as Random Dice. (Chapters 149, 154, 156, 194, 331, 349)

His Dexterity evolves into Young Dwarf's Dexterity after reading a dwarven enlightenment, granting advanced craftsmanship and inherited recipes. It supports rapid construction, equipment repair, Synthesis, armor making, potions, and the creation of artifacts for allies. Medicinal Memory Physique records the effects of medicines Hajin consumes, allowing him to reproduce or combine them later, although he must first obtain and ingest the substance and may not know the required dose. After evanescence removes his combat Gifts, this is the one Physique returned to him; he develops it into the healing work behind the Miracle Pharmacist. (Chapters 154, 156, 168, 181, 296, 367, 371)

Clockhand of Fate

The Tower skill Clockhand of Fate grants forms of temporal reversal. Hajin can reverse a short interval to undo an event, as when he restores Boss after Kurukuru kills her or restores the Mystic Key after a failed synthesis destroys it. Its Body Reversal automatically restores his physical body to its condition before death, allowing him to survive Kurukuru's counterattack. These are tightly limited powers: Body Reversal has a finite number of lifetime uses, Time Reversal exhausts Stigma and harms recovery, and Hajin cannot treat every death or loss as reversible. Yi Byul (Boss) begins as a dangerous future antagonist whom Hajin hopes to redirect, becomes his commander in the Chameleon Troupe, and develops into his closest romantic bond. Hajin helps her build a home and a purpose beyond Yi Yeonjun's revenge; she, in turn, protects him, witnesses his deaths and reversals, steadies him during the shot at Baal, and finds him after his erasure. They later live together, with Hajin addressing her by her real name rather than only as Boss. (Chapters 59, 96, 143, 186, 235–237, 321, 360–361, 374–376)

Chae Nayun is the relationship most damaged by Hajin's secrecy. He changes her path from bow to sword and repeatedly saves her, but kills Chae Jinyoon to destroy the Devil's Seed and refuses to explain why. Nayun eventually learns that her brother accepted death and that Hajin carried the truth alone. Their later reconciliation does not erase either love or resentment; she explicitly rejects a simple friendship and describes herself as likely to hate and love him for the rest of her life. (Chapters 13, 66, 76, 126, 249–250, 299, 357, 375–378)

Yoo Yeonha grows from a useful contact into Hajin's principal information and business partner. He gives her warnings and commercial opportunities; she refines his ammunition, builds networks capable of acting on his knowledge, uncovers the Kwang-Oh record, and helps assemble the coalition against later threats. After evanescence, she is among the people who recover their memories and spends enormous resources trying to restore his place in the world, eventually promoting his medicines and offering him a future in Essential Pharmacy. (Chapters 15–21, 67–68, 112, 137, 235, 266, 349, 371–376)

Kim Suho is the main character of Hajin's novel and becomes a trusted friend rather than a controllable protagonist. Hajin supports him with information and equipment and believes in his role against the Demon King and Baal. Kim Suho confides his origin as a transmigrator from Akatrina, while Hajin accepts the confession without ridicule. Baal later tells Suho that Hajin created his suffering, but Suho rejects the attempt to turn authorship into moral domination and remains central to the victory Hajin enables. The post-erasure loophole is weaker for Suho, so he cannot fully remember Hajin as readily as those tied to Kwang-Oh. (Chapters 11, 137, 249, 299, 324–325, 357–364, 375)

Evandel is Hajin's adopted daughter and clearest proof that his world has become home. He obtains her seed, takes responsibility for raising her, arranges her training, and worries about every long separation. Evandel's bond survives the erasure instinctively even before she can name whom she misses, helping pull Hajin back into the circle of people who remember him. Rachel, whose blood helped hatch Evandel, becomes her other parental figure and one of Hajin's trusted friends; Rachel and Yi Byul later share a home with Hajin and Evandel. (Chapters 30, 64–67, 155, 236, 302, 362, 367, 374–376)

Jin Sahyuk begins as an enemy whom Hajin repeatedly humiliates and later becomes an unstable ally. Her attachment to Kindspring draws her to Hajin, but both eventually recognize that Hajin is not Kim Chundong even though synchronization connects him to Chundong's memories and emotions. Hajin's experience with Prihi challenges Sahyuk's conception of kingship, while Sahyuk protects him, brings him through Akatrina, and later identifies the loopholes that allow erased relationships to return. Their hostile banter persists alongside genuine cooperation. (Chapters 237, 258–267, 302, 329, 358, 369, 375)

The Chameleon Troupe becomes Hajin's chosen faction after he leaves Cube. He joins because its help made the Jinyoon operation possible and because its strength can serve the world's survival, but he never ignores that its members are killers. He turns their hideout into a home, fights beside them as Fenrir and Black Lotus, and encourages Yi Byul to seek a future without killing. After Baal, the original troupe disbands and several members redirect their skills toward exposing crimes connected to Kwang-Oh; many of them also retain or recover memories of Hajin. (Chapters 108, 143, 147, 235–237, 360, 365–366, 375–376)
