Continental Fragment

The Continental Fragment is a blue dimensional crystal that transports Jin Sahyuk and nearby allies into Akatrina's Recorded Past, then structures their route home through six fragment pieces.

History

Return to the Recorded Past

A lich serving Orden presents the crystal to Jin Sahyuk as a means of returning to Akatrina in Continental Year 555. She appraises it, keeps it, and later activates it by infusing magic power. The crystal explodes and carries her, Hajin, and nearby companions into a strengthened Recorded Past rather than the ruined present-day continent. (Chapters 254 and 258)

Six pieces

Inside the Recorded Past, the party learns that six Continental Fragment Pieces maintain the space and must be gathered for their return. Individual pieces provide different auxiliary effects, but they also serve the common dimensional purpose. After collecting the last shard, Hajin brings all six together and adds Stigma; they converge into one light and return the group to Earth. The combined crystal is consumed in that transit. (Chapters 259–267)

Abilities and properties

  • The original fragment opens access to Akatrina's Recorded Past at a specified year. (Chapters 254 and 258)
  • The six pieces maintain the Recorded Past and may attract monsters, supply mana for growth, amplify an embedded weapon, or increase wisdom depending on the piece. (Chapters 260, 262, 266, and 267)
  • Recombining all six with Stigma produces the return transition. (Chapter 267)
