Orb of Regeneration
The Orb of Regeneration is a Tower artifact that restores living beings and objects over time, becoming Kim Hajin's recurring means of recovery and repair.
History
Tower acquisition
Hajin selects the orb as a reward and acquires it on the Tower's fourth floor. He immediately uses it to offset strain from training and to revive a dried shamrock. As its level rises, the orb heals combat injuries and supports prolonged recovery from damage that costs Hajin years of lifespan. (Chapters 184–185, 200, and 267)
Shared recovery resource
Hajin lends the orb when allies or companions need it, including Yi Byul during the Tower and Spartan after excessive use of his Authority. It also recharges or repairs equipment and later supports Genkelope workers constructing the underground city. Even near the battle with Baal it accelerates Stigma's recovery, though Time Reversal's side effects remain slow to heal. (Chapters 188, 202, 238, 316, 337, 347, and 361)
Abilities and properties
- Emits regenerative power that can heal injuries, restore lost lifespan gradually, and revive damaged plants. (Chapters 184–185 and 267)
- Can restore charge or condition to some tools and equipment, including the portable crystal stele and Hajin's repaired weapons. (Chapters 202 and 337)
- Recovery is not instantaneous or unlimited: restoring three years of lifespan is projected to take three to four months, and Time Reversal remains resistant to quick healing. (Chapters 267 and 347)
