Refined Misteltein Bullets
The Refined Misteltein Bullets are partial-divine ammunition made from a leaf shed by Misteltein and used for two of Kim Hajin's most consequential shots.
History
Refinement and first use
Misteltein sheds a leaf during its first awakening. Hajin keeps the byproduct and entrusts it to Yoo Yeonha, who refines its material into .44 Macon platinum bullets for his Desert Eagle. Hajin preserves the ammunition for targets connected to devils, then uses one round to pierce Chae Jinyoon's forehead and destroy the Devil's Seed inside him. (Chapters 86, 118, and 126)
Shot against Baal
Hajin continues to conserve at least one god-slaying round through later campaigns. During the fight with Baal, he waits for an opening because the bullet can critically damage a devil approaching divinity but lacks the raw force to penetrate Baal's outer defense by itself. Hajin pours Stigma and Overclocking into the shot. The discharge destroys the Desert Eagle's muzzle, but the bullet pierces Baal and helps bring about his end. (Chapters 231, 324, 337, and 361–364)
Abilities and properties
- Made from highly pure magic power and compressed Misteltein in platinum handgun rounds; appraised as partial divine-grade with part of Misteltein's god-slaying power. (Chapter 118)
- Particularly effective against Devil's Seeds and divine or devil-related targets. (Chapters 126, 231, and 364)
- God-slaying power does not supply unlimited physical penetration; Baal's outer skin remains a separate obstacle. (Chapter 364)
