Iris
Iris Von Kaizer is a prodigious Beast Tamer, the Princess of Barbatos Academy, and Lux's childhood companion, first fiancée, and eventual wife. Her importance rests on more than romance: she raises a coordinated group of Mythical Beasts, helps shape the household that grows around Lux, and repeatedly chooses loyalty without surrendering judgment. In the Abyss, those qualities converge when she restrains her fear, tends her injured companions, and returns to rescue the people who saved her. (Chapters 84–89, 879–881, 1232–1233)
Appearance and personality
Iris is introduced as a beautiful young woman with long light-blue hair and blue eyes. At sixteen, she carries herself with the confidence expected of Alexander's daughter and is publicly treated as the princess of Barbatos Academy; formal dress, a silver tiara, and her practiced grace reinforce that image. Her battle appearance changes during Mythical Beast fusion: colored runes cover her body, while Zoe's power can manifest as red phoenix wings for flight. (Chapters 127, 219, 654, 879–880, 1127)
Affectionate, forthright, and occasionally possessive, Iris never hides that she wants a future with Lux. That devotion is not passive dependence. She rejects Nero and every marriage candidate imposed by the Lionheart Tournament, warns Lux that any future partner must be honest with her, and later welcomes women whose feelings she judges sincere. Under pressure she can set anger aside to think clearly: after waking injured in the Abyss, she treats her beasts, gives them time to recover, and prepares a rescue rather than charging blindly. (Chapters 88, 128, 219, 879, 1028)
Biography
Awakening and Leaf Village
Iris grows up between the protection of Barbatos Academy and the quieter family life she shares with Lux and Vera. Although Vera encourages the match, Iris's attachment is her own: she values the sickly boy who played with her and stayed beside her when Alexander was absent, not the strength or resources other Solaians consider essential in a husband. When Lux finally enters Elysium, she respects the purpose driving him while asking for an honest chance to become his wife rather than demanding an immediate answer. (Chapters 84, 88–89)
Her professional identity is already established when Lux brings her an Alpha Monster egg. Iris is a Beast Tamer who specializes in breeding and has personally raised a Blue Dragon, White Tiger, Red Phoenix, Black Turtle, and Unicorn from eggs. She channels magic and some life force through runic inscriptions to support the hatching, then names the apparently ordinary blue slime Eiko. By adding her blood imprint after Lux's, Iris makes herself Eiko's recognized parent and turns the hatching into the beginning of a family rather than a simple acquisition. (Chapters 84–86)
That parental claim comes with standards. Iris tells Lux that monsters may be pets, friends, or tools to different tamers, but she will take Eiko away if he treats the slime merely as equipment. She also refuses to accept Nero's plan to win her through a tournament, even contemplating elopement rather than submitting to a marriage she does not want. Lux's promise to defend her choice changes their childhood closeness into a mutual commitment, while Iris's care for Eiko and confidence in Lux establish the family unit she will protect for the rest of the story. (Chapters 88, 128, 130, 180)
The Lionheart Tournament and the Hidden Domain
The Lionheart Tournament places Iris in the humiliating position of being offered as its champion's fiancée by Alexander. She openly tells Vera that she already has Lux and needs no substitute, stays physically close to him when Einar and Nero dedicate victories to her, and asks him to do his best without pretending the danger is trivial. Her resistance is therefore both public and personal: she cannot cancel her father's decree herself, but she makes every suitor understand that winning her legal hand would not win her consent or affection. (Chapters 219, 230, 245)
Lux's victory ends that immediate threat, but Iris spends the aftermath caring for him while he lies unconscious from exhaustion and Abyssal corruption. When he wakes on her birthday, she tells him the result instead of prolonging his anxiety, accepts their new status as fiancés, and begins addressing him more often by name rather than only as her older brother. Cai's gift of paired rings and the celebration that follows turn a contest designed to control Iris into the formal recognition of the partner she had already chosen. (Chapters 264–268)
The Hidden Domain then tests the family produced by that victory. Iris advances with the injured members of Serenity while her beasts and Eiko cover the formation, but Prince Lowell's forces trap the Solarian youths. Iris joins the vanguard rather than hiding behind her status; when an Initiate knocks her unconscious, Eiko shields her and is killed by Esmond's spear. Iris awakens to grief for both Eiko and the mortally wounded Vera, helps Lux begin Eiko's regeneration from preserved remains, and asks careful questions before accepting the dangerous plan to save Vera. Love has become responsibility under conditions where protection can fail. (Chapters 298–305)
Heaven’s Gate and the continental wars
When Lux reveals that he founded Heaven's Gate, Iris receives the secret as a trusted partner rather than a subordinate. She had already suspected the worldwide announcement concerned him, listens to the full account, and responds with confidence instead of fear over his new political burden. Her position does not erase the protectiveness surrounding her: Lux and Alexander exclude her from the Sacred Dungeon expedition because they consider it too dangerous. Iris remains at Barbatos Academy with Eiko, tending the recovering slime and continuing her responsibilities in Serenity while the new guild enters continental struggles without her. (Chapters 362, 365–366)
Distance also makes Iris an emotional link among alliances that would otherwise be purely strategic. Cai describes Iris as her first best friend and risks death protecting Lux because his loss would devastate her. Later, when Maximilian proposes that Cai become Lux's second fiancée, Iris gives prior approval instead of allowing the men to decide for her. She welcomes Cai into her residence, encourages her to become comfortable with Lux at her own pace, and treats the new bond as an extension of an existing friendship rather than a demotion of her own place. (Chapters 486, 642–645)
At the public celebration joining Barbatos Academy, the Rowan Tribe, and their allies, Iris stands beside Lux while Alexander finally endorses their future marriage. In private, she helps the shy Cai cross the distance between political engagement and chosen intimacy, making clear that all three relationships matter to her. Yet the phase ends with another separation: Iris tells Lux, Cai, and Eiko to prioritize safety before the Domain of the Fallen expedition and chooses not to watch their departure after saying goodbye. She has learned to support dangerous duties without pretending that repeated partings no longer hurt. (Chapters 654–657)
The Dragon kingdoms and the Abyss
While Lux becomes entangled with dragon kingdoms and Gaap's teachings, Iris often experiences those developments through absence and partial information. Alexander even orders Lux to conceal his new necromancer profession from her for security. A world-law change accompanying Lux's breakthrough later raises Iris to the peak of Initiate rank, showing that their connection can affect her power across distance, but it does not give her knowledge of what he endured. Her role remains anchored in academy and guild duties until the Gate of the Apocalypse abruptly transports Serenity's expedition into the Abyss. (Chapters 685, 767, 871)
In the Dark Forest, Iris, Cai, Alicia, Henrietta, and their allies face Satyrs far above their ranks. Iris orders Astra to aid Cai when her best friend is struck away and directs her other beasts against the attackers, but Ampelos overwhelms their initial forms and knocks her unconscious. Cai burns away her own advancement to create an escape and commands Astra to place Iris's life first. On waking, Iris neither accepts that sacrifice as an excuse to flee nor lets anger dictate the plan: she heals every injured guardian, rests them, and resolves to recover Cai and Serenity's missing members. (Chapters 871–879)
Iris's return to the Satyrs' lair is both a rescue attempt and the first full demonstration of her awakened Mythical Beast Tamer abilities. She scouts rather than attacking indiscriminately, lets Astra draw enemies away, and retreats when Zoe confirms her friends are absent. Trapped by Ampelos, she merges with four guardians and uses their defense, speed, flight, regeneration, and attacks to resist an Empyrean-ranked opponent while only an E-Ranker. She cannot break his barrier or defeat him alone, but Ruinous Prayer wounds him and her resistance lasts until Eiko, Lux, and Gaap arrive. The failure to rescue Cai unaided still proves that Iris can convert protective feeling into disciplined action. (Chapters 879–882)
The Divine Army reckoning
After the Abyss rescue, Iris returns to a life divided between Serenity's expeditions and the crises surrounding Lux. Queen Rhiannon channels power through Lux with the stated aim of strengthening both Iris and Cai, while Iris continues advancing through dungeon work rather than abandoning her own path. This growth occurs alongside a change in family scale: Eiko prepares for an independent journey, and Iris must accept that the child she once guarded as a newborn now needs room to make decisions without either parent constantly intervening. (Chapters 909, 947–950)
Gaap's disappearance exposes the limits of what Iris can do for Lux. She and Cai worry when he isolates himself, but they understand the depth of his bond with his master and give him the space he asks for rather than making his grief serve their need for reassurance. The subsequent destruction of the Divine Army's center cannot save Gaap, leaving Iris to support a partner whose victory has become bereavement. Her response is quiet rather than martial, showing the patience behind the more visible jealousy and bravado of their relationship. (Chapters 955, 973–987)
When Lux's campaign expands after Aina's rescue, Iris travels with Cai and the other women to reach him. She asks Aina to explain why Lux began his war, listens to the account of the Divine Army's attack, and helps convert a tense meeting among unfamiliar partners into a cooperative household. Iris affirms that she remains Lux's first fiancée in this life, but she does not treat Aina's past-life bond as an enemy; the two speak openly and become sisters while ensuring Lux finally rests. By the phase's end, Iris is also nearing the peak of C-Rank, a major rise from her early Apostle-grade standing. (Chapters 1026–1034)
Abyssal invasion and broken memories
The interval before the invasion gives Iris a glimpse of the home Lux has been trying to build. Through guild chat she helps Aurora answer Adeline's questions, regrets missing the first meeting with Lux's mother, and urges Aurora to bring her into Heaven's Gate so the entire family can welcome her. When Adeline arrives, Iris joins Cai and Aurora among the people who receive her. These choices show Iris exercising household leadership through inclusion: new bonds are negotiated, not merely announced to her after the fact. (Chapters 1057, 1086–1087)
Daniel's failed invasion produces a wound Iris cannot understand from inside it. The laws used to stop him seal Lux out of the memories of most people below the highest ranks, so when he returns a year later Iris sees only an unfamiliar Half-Elf. Even without recognition, she instinctively wipes away his tear, apologizes for causing pain, and invites him to Barbatos Academy after Vera does the same. Lux's name stirs no conscious past, but Iris's spontaneous compassion demonstrates that the memory seal removes knowledge rather than replacing her underlying character. (Chapters 1106, 1126–1127)
Lux chooses not to force the old memories through the headaches caused by the seal. Instead, he courts Iris again through new experiences, with Eiko and Aurora helping him judge how much strain she can bear. During a picnic, Iris responds to his care with growing attraction and initiates a passionate kiss, then struggles privately to understand why a supposed stranger feels so familiar. Her choice creates a fresh emotional anchor independent of the erased history. Broken memory therefore changes the terms of their relationship, but Iris still moves toward Lux through her own present judgment. (Chapters 1132–1135)
The rescue from the Abyss and the final war
Before leaving to recover Aurora from the Abyss, Lux summons the women who still remember him and the two fiancées whose memories remain sealed. Iris and Cai are confused when they see him kiss Aina, Aurelia, and Ari, and the sight produces the pain associated with the seal, yet they listen when he says he cannot explain everything before departure. Iris accepts his promise to return with Aurora and lets him leave. The moment asks for trust without full context, and she grants it because their newly rebuilt attachment has already become meaningful. (Chapter 1145)
After Lux returns, Cupid's arrows finally destroy the seal and restore the missing relationships. Iris answers the recovered year of loss with a decision about the future: she wants Lux's child and refuses another indefinite postponement, then stands with Cai, Aina, and Aurora on Edea as they join the final alliance. Her choice is not made under an illusion of safety. The women know the coming war may kill them, but Iris prefers to share the fate of the people she loves rather than remain behind in a world that will fall if the alliance loses. (Chapters 1190, 1200)
At World's End, Iris's contribution is primarily protective and emotional while Lux and the highest-ranked combatants face Daniel. She catches Aurelia when Keoza is apparently killed and holds the grieving princess rather than leaving her alone in the battle's collapse. After Daniel falls and the Pillars restore the dead, Iris asks Lux to return quickly from the divine gate because everyone is waiting to go home. He refuses godhood, resurrects the fallen as living people, and takes Iris's hand beside Aurora's. The reunion makes her long defense of a shared mortal future the final choice Lux carries home. (Chapters 1214, 1221)
Open Heaven’s Gate
Peace requires Iris to absorb consequences that cannot be solved by battle. When Queen Rhiannon arrives with Lux's daughter Dia, Iris and the other women are initially wary of the Abyssal ruler. Iris's suspicion melts when she meets the child: she plays with Dia, treats her as part of their family, and replaces disappointment about not bearing Lux's first child with happiness that the household is growing. Her willingness to love the baby without punishing her for the circumstances of her birth turns a potential rivalry into kinship. (Chapter 1225)
Iris also continues to influence who may join that household. She recognizes that Henrietta has suppressed feelings for Lux and discusses the situation with Princess Anastasia; when Lux later consults Iris and Cai, both approve the possibility of those marriages. This is consistent with Iris's earliest condition that Lux not hide sincere partners from her. She remains protective of her place, but she does not define security by excluding everyone else. Her authority rests on candid negotiation and concern that the women close to her not waste a second chance at happiness. (Chapters 1227–1228)
At the wedding, Alexander escorts Iris to Lux, Eiko and Fei Fei carry the rings, and Iris speaks the final collective vow before placing Lux's ring on his finger. The ceremony fulfills the future she defended against Alexander's tournament decree without isolating her from the wider family she helped form. By the endpoint she is watching over the household's children with Valerie and quietly helping organize domestic life among Lux's wives. The outspoken girl who once promised Vera a great-grandchild has become a wife and maternal center in an interworld family built through repeated choices to remain together. (Chapters 1232–1233)
Mythical Beast Tamer abilities
Iris's combat system joins a formal practitioner rank with a tamer profession whose strength depends on living partners. She can summon, direct, and communicate with bonded beasts, and her later class abilities let several of them merge with her body. The arrangement gives her a broad tactical kit, but it also creates dependencies: injured guardians must be healed and rested, the number and rank she can merge are limited by her own advancement, and a much stronger enemy can incapacitate her before coordination compensates for the gap. (Chapters 84–86, 872, 879–881)
Beast taming and monster breeding
Before the Mythical Beast Tamer title is named, Iris is already a Beast Tamer and Monster Breeder with exceptional affinity for eggs. Her hatching rite uses runic engravings, magical power, and life force to support a safe birth and can help awaken unusual traits, though the exact source of her extraordinary luck is not explained. She recognizes an egg's will to live, senses when Eiko's reborn egg is ready, and provides both beast cores and practical care. These are professional support abilities rather than attacks, but they create the bonds on which her fighting style depends. (Chapters 84–86, 305, 366)
Iris treats the creatures she raises as family and tactical partners, not disposable summons. She carries beast-specific healing potions because her guardians regularly take the front line to prevent Serenity casualties, and she pauses a rescue long enough to restore them before asking for another battle. This care has a material result: Alexander initially supplies resources only until the four guardians reach C-Rating so she will not rely on inherited privilege, after which Iris develops them herself through A-Rating and eventually to Argonaut-ranked Alpha forms. The corpus shows sustained cultivation of companions, not instant strength from her father's status. (Chapters 177, 329, 879)
The five guardian beasts
Iris raises five principal companions from eggs. Myrtle, the Black Turtle, specializes in defense and can interpose a shell against otherwise unseen projectiles. Lapiz, the Blue Dragon, supplies powerful direct attacks. Hanz, the White Tiger, heightens strength, speed, agility, and dexterity and gives Iris familiarity with supersonic shockwaves. Zoe, the Red Phoenix, provides long-range offense, flight, regeneration, magical resistance, and resistance to status effects. Their roles remain distinct after fusion, which lets Iris layer protection, mobility, recovery, and damage rather than receiving an undifferentiated increase. (Chapters 84, 177, 879–881)
Astra, the White Unicorn, is the fifth and often closest guardian. He senses arrivals, carries Iris at extreme speed, heals allies, attacks with lightning, and can assume a stronger humanoid form for a limited period. His jealousy toward Eiko initially creates a family rivalry, but he repeatedly places Iris's survival above pride: he stands guard while she is unconscious, carries her from the Satyrs, and returns with her despite exhaustion. Astra's strength is not cost-free or always available; extended combat and his transformed state drain him, and at E-Rank Iris cannot include him in the four-beast fusion. (Chapters 86–89, 177–179, 872–880)
Four-beast fusion
After becoming an E-Ranker, Iris awakens the clearest signature ability of her Mythical Beast Tamer class. She applies a blue preparation to draw Myrtle's symbol on her forehead, Hanz's on her left arm, Lapiz's on her right arm, and Zoe's on her chest, then meditates until she is physically, mentally, and spiritually ready. The four beasts become colored light and enter those marks, sharing the power of four Argonaut-ranked Alpha Monsters. The preparation is deliberate rather than instantaneous, and her personal rank fixes the number and quality she can safely contain. (Chapter 879)
At that stage, four Argonaut guardians are her limit and Astra must remain outside the merge. The class description states that D-Rank permits five Argonaut-ranked monsters, C-Rank permits five Dreadnaught-ranked monsters, and Saint rank would permit Calamity-ranked monsters. Those are capacity thresholds, not proof that every companion automatically reaches the corresponding monster rank or that Iris later becomes a Saint. The latest explicit personal state is near the peak of C-Rank, while the corpus does not provide a later full fusion demonstration establishing the current ranks of all five beasts. (Chapters 879, 1034)
Against Ampelos, fusion demonstrates both its versatility and its ceiling. Myrtle stops a poisoned needle, Hanz helps Iris read and cancel sound attacks, Zoe keeps her airborne and supports regeneration and resistance, and Lapiz empowers her direct offense. These combined traits let an E-Ranker contest an Empyrean-ranked Alpha Monster who is restraining lethal force, but they do not make her his equal: his Dark Slash overpowers Blue Dragon's Descent, his barrier traps her, and surviving blades still require Eiko's intervention. Fusion narrows a rank gap; it does not erase one. (Chapters 880–881)
Kaizer War Art and combined techniques
As Alexander's daughter, Iris can use the bloodline-restricted Kaizer War Art, whose sword forms she practiced beside Lux from childhood. During her battle with Ampelos she channels it through a manifested blue sword and releases Blue Dragon's Descent, a dragon-shaped energy attack strong enough to make the Satyr answer seriously. The technique interacts with her tamer powers rather than replacing them: Lapiz supplies the dragon aspect, while her own martial training gives the borrowed power a focused form. The attack can be opposed and split by a stronger technique, so its effectiveness still depends on the rank and control behind it. (Chapters 156, 252, 880–881)
Her other named applications likewise combine guardian specialties. Tiger's Roar releases a shockwave that nullifies Ampelos's wide-area sound attack, while Ruinous Prayer gathers all four fused powers into a concentrated four-colored beam. The latter shatters incoming crescent blades and wounds Ampelos when he dodges, making it Iris's strongest demonstrated composite strike. Concentrating everything into one attack leaves surviving projectiles dangerous, however, and Eiko must block them. Iris's latest shown combat mastery is therefore sophisticated coordination under severe pressure, not unrestricted use of the beasts' combined reserves. (Chapter 881)
Serenity support and field command
Iris is one of Serenity's three vice guildmasters and commands a personal force called White Rose. Her normal expedition role is support: she helps treat the wounded, keeps her guardians around vulnerable members, and shares the front line when an organized defense is required. That command experience shapes her Abyss response. She inventories missing people, restores her beasts, scouts the Satyr lair, and withdraws when Zoe confirms the captives are elsewhere instead of sacrificing the team for an empty objective. Her leadership remains strongest at party and guild scale rather than the continental armies Lux commands. (Chapters 273, 298–302, 871–881)
Power progression
| Stage / Realm / Ability | Chapter(s) | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Middle Grade-A Apostle | 362 | Alexander identifies her current Apostle-grade attainment. |
| Peak Initiate | 767 | World-law recognition during Lux’s class breakthrough raises her to Peak Initiate. |
| E-Ranker | 879 | Her advancement awakens additional Mythical Beast Tamer abilities. |
| Near peak C-Ranker | 1034 | The narration establishes that she is nearing C-Rank’s peak. |
Iris's early advancement is measured against Lux's unusual acceleration: Alexander identifies her as a middle Grade-A Apostle despite years in Elysium, illustrating that ordinary cultivation remains gradual even for a Saint's daughter. By the Abyss crisis she is explicitly an E-Ranker, and that threshold matters because it unlocks the four-beast fusion rather than merely improving statistics. Her power is therefore best understood through the new relationship between personal rank and the monsters she can contain. (Chapters 362, 879)
The later statement that Iris is nearing C-Rank's peak confirms major continued growth after the Abyss, although the exact chapters for each intervening threshold are not individually supplied. C-Rank raises the class's stated fusion capacity to five Dreadnaught-ranked monsters, but capacity and demonstrated access are different: no later scene confirms that every guardian has reached that rank or shows Iris using the full five-beast form. Her endpoint should consequently remain near peak C-Ranker with substantial, but partly undemonstrated, class potential. (Chapters 879, 1034)
Relationships
Lux and Eiko
Lux is Iris's childhood companion, stepbrother, first fiancé, and eventual husband. She loves him before he can enter Elysium and continues to choose him when Alexander offers her to a tournament champion, but she also requires honesty about the dangers and relationships entering his life. Eiko turns that partnership into parenthood long before their wedding. Iris hatches, names, feeds, disciplines, and protects the slime, while Eiko's deaths and rescues repeatedly show that the daughter is equally determined to protect her “Mama.” (Chapters 84–89, 128, 219–268, 302–305, 1190)
Cai and the wider household
Cai begins as Iris's first close friend outside her beasts and becomes a second partner within the same household. Cai enters the tournament to prevent Iris's forced marriage, nearly sacrifices her cultivation to save her in the Abyss, and later relies on Iris to help her navigate intimacy with Lux. Iris, in turn, approves Cai's engagement and makes space for her without concealing her own importance. She later uses the same principle with Aina, Aurora, Valerie, Aurelia, Ali, Ari, Queen Rhiannon, Henrietta, and Princess Anastasia: candor and sincere care matter more than exclusivity. (Chapters 267, 486, 642–656, 873, 1026–1028, 1225–1228)
Alexander and Vera
Alexander loves Iris and tries to secure her future through strength, but his tournament decree treats protection as authority over her choice. Iris resists him until he publicly accepts Lux and later depends on him during the memory crisis. Vera supports Iris's preferred marriage from childhood and helps create the family life both grandchildren desire. Their different approaches teach Iris that being protected is not the same as being allowed agency, a distinction she later honors when Eiko and Lux's other partners must make their own decisions. (Chapters 84, 128, 180, 219, 654, 947, 1127)
Guardians and Serenity
Iris's beasts are companions raised from infancy and entrusted with her life. Astra's jealousy, Hanz's steady loyalty, and the coordinated four-beast rescue make those bonds personal as well as functional. Within Serenity, Henrietta is Iris's guildmaster and friend, while Alicia acts as a senior protector tied to Alexander. Iris fights beside them in the Hidden Domain and enters the Abyss to recover them after their capture; later, she supports Henrietta's chance to acknowledge her feelings for Lux rather than letting duty dictate another unwanted engagement. (Chapters 177, 273, 298–305, 871–881, 1227–1228)
Notable encounters and deeds
- Hatches Eiko, establishes a parental bond with her, and insists that Lux raise the slime as family rather than as a tool. (Chapters 84–88)
- Rejects the suitors empowered by Alexander's Lionheart Tournament decree and chooses Lux as her fiancé after his victory. (Chapters 128, 219–268)
- Fights with Serenity's vanguard in the Hidden Domain, then helps preserve and revive Eiko after the slime dies protecting her. (Chapters 298–305)
- Gives informed approval for Cai to join her relationship with Lux and helps her closest friend enter the new family on mutually chosen terms. (Chapters 642–656)
- Returns to the Satyrs' lair to rescue Cai, Alicia, and Henrietta, unveiling four-beast fusion and wounding Ampelos with Ruinous Prayer. (Chapters 879–881)
- Helps reconcile Lux's expanding group of partners after the Divine Army conflict and becomes close to Aina without surrendering her own place. (Chapters 1026–1028)
- Rebuilds affection for Lux after the memory seal by creating new experiences rather than relying on a past she cannot access. (Chapters 1127–1135)
- Joins the final alliance after her memories return, supports Aurelia during Keoza's apparent death, and accompanies Lux home after Daniel's defeat. (Chapters 1200, 1214, 1221)
- Welcomes Dia, helps negotiate the postwar household, and speaks the collective vow at her wedding to Lux. (Chapters 1225–1233)
Items
- Paired Wedding Rings — Cai originally commissions the runescribed pair for Iris, then gives it to Lux after the tournament. One ring passes to Iris; while both wear the pair on the same plane, the rings permit communication and location sensing, protect against mind-affecting effects and miasma, and slow Abyssal corruption. Their promise, “Forever by your side,” anticipates the separate ceremonial rings exchanged when Iris and Lux finally marry. (Chapters 267, 277, 1232)
