Einar

Einar Mordosk is the second son of Barbarian King Amastan and one of his generation’s Four Kings. Introduced as a competitive suitor and opponent, he becomes one of Lux’s most reliable expedition allies, translating his hunger for a rematch into steady cooperation inside the Sacred Dungeon. (Chapters 228, 229, 292, 711)

Biography

The Lionheart Tournament and the Hidden Domain

Einar enters the tournament protecting his younger half-brother Rol and assessing possible disguises used by Lux. His own defeat by Lux wounds his pride but does not trap him in resentment. In the Hidden Domain he takes vanguard responsibility, warns the expedition when monsters threaten to surround it, and fights beside his former opponent against the Death Tyrant. The shared danger turns rivalry into respect without extinguishing his desire for a full rematch. (Chapters 228, 281, 292)

After the victory, Einar receives Blazefury and joins Lux, Vall, and Xander in managing access to later expeditions. He accepts the geopolitical constraints on their factions and serves as a guide rather than trying to seize sole control. The resulting cooperation earns resources and recognition for all of them, showing that the barbarian who initially measured others by combat can also coordinate around collective survival and negotiated advantage. (Chapters 294, 311, 326)

The Dragon kingdoms and the Abyss

When Lux disappears before the Gate of Famine, Einar distrusts Prince Cyrus’s invitation because he fears being used as cannon fodder. He nevertheless accepts temporary leadership and remains with the coalition until Lux returns. During the defense he fights airborne monsters, receives Beast Cores on the basis of demonstrated performance, and disciplines his own quarrelling followers, balancing the recklessness expected of a barbarian with responsibility for those under him. (Chapters 663, 685, 690, 700)

By the expedition’s end, Einar openly calls himself one of Lux’s steadfast allies and plans to become a Ranker within a month. He also carries his father’s invitation for expanded cooperation and jokingly proposes his unmarried sister as a possible match. The exchange places their relationship beyond temporary dungeon convenience: their rivalry has matured into an alliance with political, personal, and future-facing consequences. (Chapter 711)

Appearance and personality

Einar is an exceptionally muscular young barbarian whose physical presence and bulging strength intimidate spectators; he is reputed to break boulders with one punch. Proud, blunt, and intensely competitive, he welcomes dangerous missions and uses goals to drive himself through painful training. He is not mindless: Lux notices him probing defenses intelligently, while his care for Rol and command of his followers reveal protective responsibility beneath the bravado. (Chapters 228, 230, 231, 290, 292)

Abilities and skills

Einar is a pure combat specialist proficient with swords and axes. His thrown axes can return to his hands, while Rage increases his fighting power without Berserk’s usual side effects. Therianthropy transforms him into a four-meter Winged White Tiger, granting flight and access to Hyper Blast, a powerful silver beam; the form is a trump card rather than an effortless default, and extended combat still exhausts and injures him. (Chapters 229, 231, 232, 233, 287)

He later wields the massive war axe Blazefury and applies it through heavy strikes and Guillotine Throw. The weapon and transformation amplify an already strong body, but neither removes tactical limits: disabling rays can paralyze him and petrify his weapon, stronger bosses require coordinated attacks, and his latest stated advancement remains an intention to become a Ranker rather than a confirmed breakthrough. (Chapters 292, 293, 294, 711)

  • Cai: A combative friend whose teasing Einar answers loudly, but beside whom he repeatedly fights. (Chapters 299, 700)
