Zarveth

Zarveth is an Eternal Supreme Born from the Supreme World of Eternity whose immense power is expressed primarily through constructed relics. Sent to investigate the Chain Breakers, he chooses private possession of the Anomaly over obedience to the Infinities, only to be defeated, absorbed into Nux's universe, and remade into the subordinate he intended to create.

Biography

An enforcer whose curiosity became disobedience

Zarveth first appears as one of four Supreme Borns overseeing the investigation into destroyed Mercenary Worlds. He constructs thousands of interrogation chambers and organizing barriers with casual gestures, treating the gathered rulers as tools rather than people. His cold knowledge and control fit his role as Eternity's representative, but the investigation soon reveals the anomaly the Supreme Worlds have been seeking. (Chapters 2085–2091)

Once Zarveth realizes that the feared Anomaly is only a Primordial, official duty gives way to curiosity and greed. He seals the region, kills his own subordinates to prevent reports, and plans to capture Nux without informing the Infinities. When Neremoth arrives with the same intent, Zarveth reluctantly cooperates; both expect to betray or outmaneuver the other later, but neither wants their prize taken by their masters. (Chapters 2092–2095)

Nux escapes into his universe with Neremoth following, leaving Zarveth against Sharnoth. Zarveth wants her alive because he believes she can lead him to Nux. That belief is deliberately cultivated by Sharnoth, who does not actually know how to reach the inner universe but needs to keep him from reporting the encounter. His secrecy gives her exactly the isolation in which to fight without outside Supreme intervention. (Chapters 2094–2095)

Relics against the Body of Chaos

Zarveth begins the duel as if it were an experiment. He cycles through dozens of relics and treats each new manifestation of Sharnoth's Chaos as another question to solve. Her partial Domain breaks his barriers, damages him, and forces him through sixty-three ordinary relics, but it also confirms that she carries the legacy of Zylarith. His desire for answers persists even as the evidence overturns his assumption that a non-Supreme Eternal cannot threaten him. (Chapters 2102–2106)

Pressed beyond those tools, Zarveth deploys six Infinity Relics. Together they stabilize Time and Space, suppress other Primordial Laws, and let the Blade rewrite the Chaos energy in Sharnoth's body while the Cube removes sound, thought, and will. The combination incapacitates her and gives Zarveth control of the battle. It is his clearest victory, but it depends on borrowed Infinity-linked artifacts rather than his unaided strength. (Chapters 2107–2108)

Nux returns after trapping Neremoth inside his universe and deliberately touches the Blade embedded in Sharnoth. The contact helps trigger his completed Domain and new state, after which he destroys the Blade and Cube and overwhelms the remaining relics. Zarveth continues attacking through future prediction, temporal slashes, alternate-timeline clones, and reality collapse, but Nux's Domain weakens the relics' connection to the Main Universe and invalidates the futures in which they promise success. Absorption and involuntary loyalty

Nux defeats Zarveth while simultaneously restraining the unstable Sharnoth and then covers him in dark energy. Zarveth is devoured into Nux's universe, where his body reforms under Nux's control. The process leaves him alive but unconscious by Nux's will rather than dead, and Nux can read his memories directly. (Chapters 2111–2116 and 2121)

Those memories reveal that the Infinities erased Zarveth's recollections of their identities and even altered what he remembered from the war against Zylarith. Nux then repeats that violation for his own purposes, manipulating Zarveth's memories into loyalty. Through Absolute Inseparable Together, Zarveth becomes extremely difficult to kill while inside the new connection, but loses the Infinity Relics and much of the external support on which his style depended. His latest established state is a living, memory-altered subordinate who must create replacement relics tied to Nux's universe. (Chapter 2121)

Appearance and personality

Zarveth wears robes patterned with faintly glowing glyphs. Pale, later described as hollow, eyes convey ancient knowledge; a halo of shifting runes and arcane geometry turns behind him. At introduction he carries an open tome and an orb-ringed staff. His movements are measured like clockwork and his aura is cold, calculating, and secretive. (Chapters 2085 and 2092–2095)

He is patient, analytical, arrogant, and consumed by knowledge. Even anger rarely prevents him from evaluating a threat, but curiosity makes him underestimate the moral and strategic consequences of secrecy. He treats people as test subjects and relics as solutions; once those solutions fail, humiliation and desperation erode the composure on which his identity rests. (Chapters 2085–2111)

Abilities and cultivation

Eternal cultivation and creation

Zarveth is an Eternal, an ancient Supreme Born whose natural energies are linked to the Supreme World of Eternity. He can seal Space against ordinary spatial Laws, alter Time, create large structures and thousands of copies with gestures, and manipulate combat across past, present, and possible futures. No personal Domain name or acquisition history is given, and later narration explicitly contrasts his relic-dependent style with Neremoth's stronger unaided combat. (Chapters 2085–2095 and 2120)

His sealing cannot stop Nux's inner-universe gate because that passage does not use the Law of Space. In Nux's completed Domain, his relics progressively lose their connection to the Main Universe, and his attacks cannot produce a future that overcomes the domain owner. After absorption, his Supreme bloodline is likewise weaker than its Main-Universe expression until Nux's universe grows enough to support it. (Chapters 2094–2095, 2110–2111, and 2121)

Infinity Relic array

Zarveth's final array combines six items:

• The Blade of Rewriting is a pen-like blade that rewrites what it touches. It erases Sharnoth's released Chaos energy and destabilizes her transformed body, but Nux destroys it after willingly making contact. (Chapters 2107–2110)
• The Cube of Silence erases sound, thought, and will, preventing Sharnoth from speaking or resisting. Nux pulls at it through his new authority and shatters it. Its radius, duration, and resistance threshold are not quantified. (Chapters 2107–2110)
• The Mirror of Future Victory reflects an ideal future and shows Zarveth a path to a successful counterattack. Its prediction fails when Nux invalidates that future, demonstrating that it identifies possibilities rather than enforcing an outcome. (Chapters 2107 and 2110–2111)
• The Lantern of Infinite Paths displays possibilities across billions or trillions of branches and highlights those in which Zarveth cannot lose. Inside Nux's Domain it eventually shows no path at all. (Chapters 2107 and 2110–2111)
• The Chronos Key unlocks the structure of Time and bends it for the wielder. Zarveth uses it to make attacks arrive from present and past and later to produce time loops and alternate-timeline effects; none overcome Nux's domain authority. (Chapters 2107 and 2111)
• The Crest of Eternity, also called the Crest of Chronos in its first description, is the central relic bound to the concept of Time and the mark of Eternity's Infinity. It coordinates the array and empowers Zarveth's final temporal assault, but its precise standalone activation and cost are not explained. (Chapters 2107 and 2110–2111)

The six-relic formation is item-derived and externally connected, not an innate Law. After Zarveth is absorbed, Nux states that the Infinity Relics are lost and that ordinary relics dependent on the Main Universe cannot function at full strength; Zarveth will need to build replacements for the new universe. No such replacement is shown. (Chapter 2121)

Relationships

• Nux: The Anomaly Zarveth tries to capture for knowledge. Nux destroys his decisive tools, absorbs him, reads his memories, and forcibly turns him into a loyal subordinate. (Chapters 2092–2121)
• Sharnoth: His principal opponent. She forces him to expend scores of relics and awaken his Infinity array, but is incapacitated until Nux returns; Zarveth's harm to her triggers his own defeat. (Chapters 2095–2112)
• Neremoth: A rival Eternal and temporary conspirator. Their mutual greed produces cooperation, but Neremoth abandons Zarveth to pursue Nux and ultimately shares his captivity. (Chapters 2094–2095 and 2120–2121)
• Zylarith: A legendary enemy whose Body of Chaos and war Zarveth remembers only through Infinity-altered memories. Recognizing Zylarith's legacy in Sharnoth changes the duel from curiosity into alarm. (Chapters 2105–2107 and 2121)

Zarveth wielded the Blade of Rewriting, Cube of Silence, Mirror of Future Victory, Lantern of Infinite Paths, Chronos Key, and Crest of Eternity. The Blade and Cube are destroyed during Nux's intervention; the remaining Infinity Relics are lost when Zarveth is absorbed. (Chapters 2107–2111 and 2121)
