Franca Roland

Franca Roland is a transmigrator who becomes a Demoness, the Curly-Haired Baboons Research Society member Hidden Blade, and the Tarot Club's Two of Cups. Mentioned in Chapter 1594 and directly introduced as the Savoie Mob leader “Red Boots” Franca in Chapter 1606, she becomes one of Lumian Lee's closest companions and Jenna's lover. Her pursuit of a route home gradually gives way to protecting the family she has made in the present world, while her advancement through Pleasure, Affliction, Despair, Unaging, and Catastrophe turns her from an occult underworld operative into an angel and, after the apocalypse, the Tarot Club's Empress. Biography

Hidden Blade in Trier

By the time Lumian reaches Trier, Franca is already living through several overlapping identities. In the market district she is “Red Boots,” a senior Savoie Mob figure who controls Rue des Blouses Blanches, manages dancers and criminal business, and is publicly known as Gardner Martin's mistress. In the mysticism world she is a Sequence 7 Witch and the Tarot Club's Two of Cups; among fellow transmigrators she is Hidden Blade of the Curly-Haired Baboons Research Society. Her involvement with Gardner is therefore not simple loyalty or romance. She uses his trust and the mob's network to acquire resources, observe the Iron and Blood Cross Order, and investigate why suspicious pathway-related cargo is being smuggled through Underground Trier. (Chapters 1587–1599 and 1624)

Franca first approaches Lumian because he saved Jenna and because she fears he may pursue her. Her flirtation and threat to force-feed him a Witch potion initially present her as a jealous, dangerous underworld superior, but the encounter changes when he identifies Aurore's Research Society code name, Muggle. Franca learns that her warm and witty acquaintance is dead, weeps openly, and agrees to conceal both Lumian's identity and his investigation into Cordu. Aurore's death gives her a reason to treat Lumian as more than a useful mob colleague: he is the younger brother of someone she valued, and helping him may expose the traitors who destroyed a member of her displaced community. That personal connection becomes an operational partnership in Underground Trier. Franca supplies occult knowledge and divination while Lumian contributes instinct, deception, and combat improvisation. When a smuggling route carries them into a special mirror world, they encounter reversed or former versions of themselves, use substitutes and divination to find an exit, and return with reason to suspect that Gardner's cargo and the mirror anomalies form part of a larger design. Their different temperaments become complementary: Franca is more experienced and cautious about unknown mysticism, yet she accepts Lumian's colder gambles when they offer the best chance to protect the team or preserve their cover. Franca also becomes a bridge between Lumian and the two secret organizations that can help him. She shares limited Research Society information, consults Hela, and follows Madam Judgment's direction to remain in contact with the Demoness Sect rather than flee it. At the same time, she joins Lumian, Jenna, and Anthony Reid in operations against Guillaume Bénet, the Bliss Society, and the April Fool's members implicated in Aurore's collapse. She advances to Demoness of Pleasure with Lumian and Jenna guarding the ritual, gaining stronger webs, curses, and mirror powers. The upgrade does not make her abandon the others for a solitary path to power; instead, it gives the emerging team a stronger infiltrator and battlefield controller, while the hunt for Loki and I Know Someone ties her hopes of returning home to responsibility for fellow transmigrators already harmed in this world. Chosen Family and Dangerous Truths

The collapse of Gardner Martin's faction ends Franca's comparatively stable double life. She continues acting as a Demoness Sect recruit while using the Tarot Club's protection, and her former access to Gardner helps the group investigate the Iron and Blood Cross Order's smuggled object and the impending Trier catastrophe. When Gardner and the mirror counterparts of the team become direct enemies, Franca fights beside Lumian, Jenna, and Anthony rather than trying to preserve her standing in the Savoie Mob. Losing that criminal position is dangerous and financially disruptive, but it also clarifies where her loyalty lies: the mob and Demoness Sect are covers and sources of intelligence; the people who repeatedly enter mirror worlds and catastrophes with her are the community she chooses. The April Fool's investigation extends that choice beyond Trier. Franca helps organize the Research Society's response, invites Hela and Gandalf into the Port Santa operation, and uses the Tarot Club's hidden backing to counter enemies who believe the transmigrators are isolated. She withholds the most dangerous truths until disclosure can help rather than panic the Society, but she does not protect herself by leaving other members ignorant forever. Her aim is to identify the traitors, learn how Celestial Worthy-related influence reached the Society, and give the surviving transmigrators a secure basis for cooperation. This selective openness marks a shift from her early reliance on jokes and compartmentalization: secrecy remains a survival tool, but she increasingly accepts responsibility for deciding when others need the truth. Her bond with Jenna also moves from protective affection into an openly intimate relationship. Franca had helped Jenna enter the mysticism world, financed and taught her, and tried to keep her away from the Demoness Sect's worst attention; Jenna, in turn, chooses to help Franca digest the Pleasure potion and makes clear that the attachment is not merely repayment. The relationship exposes Franca's vulnerability beneath her provocative humor. She wants Jenna's freely chosen affection, worries that the pathway's Charm or acting demands might contaminate it, and becomes more—not less—careful about distinguishing intimacy from control as her powers over desire grow. Meanwhile, the team's investigations keep eroding the simple story that the Research Society crossed space into a new world. References to Penglai, the Celestial Master, the Western Continent, and cities resembling their lost era offer Franca hope, but every lead also connects the transmigrators to ancient powers and calamities rather than an accessible route home. She nevertheless continues into the School of Truth and Mirror People operation, helping capture Jebus and Moran Avigny and using the Mirror Cufflink to reach the Overseer's network. By choosing to pursue these secrets while preserving Jenna and Lumian's lives, she begins to measure success less by whether a clue promises return and more by whether the team comes through the investigation together. Demoness Advancement and Calamity

Franca's advancement to Demoness of Affliction makes the cost of her pathway explicit. The ritual requires her to be tied to a stake, consume the potion, and endure fifteen minutes of real burning without substitution or loss of control. Lumian seeks food that can improve her fire resistance, while Jenna and Anthony stand guard; their preparation lets her use pain to resist the potion's flood of remembered pleasure. She emerges with active Charm, controllable plague, weaponized hair, more precise webs, stronger curses, and improved mirror magic. The result confirms that her growth is no longer an individual escape project: each dangerous step is planned around what her companions can supply and what the resulting power can contribute to the group. The Affliction stage also forces Franca to confront emotional pain without turning it into indiscriminate cruelty. Learning that Jenna and Lumian have formed an intimate bond leaves her furious, embarrassed, and genuinely wounded; because suffering and inflicting suffering help digest her potion, the pathway gives those feelings a supernatural reward. She vents, investigates what happened, and acknowledges the changed relationship rather than destroying the team or using Charm to dictate an answer. By the time she speaks of Lumian and Jenna as her lovers, the arrangement remains messy and capable of hurting all three, but it is held together by consent, shared danger, and the conviction that none of them should be reduced to a tool for another's acting. As an Affliction, Franca becomes the team's principal mirror-world operator and a strategist against stronger opponents. She borrows Black Tear to communicate through mirrors, spread a higher-level plague, and keep the group moving through reflections during the underground conflict involving Inevitability's followers. In the battle against the looping Circle Inhabitant and the demigod Higdon, she uses Invisibility, disease, webs, black flames, and rapid mirror relocation to delay enemies she cannot defeat head-on. These operations show both her strengths and her limits: disease needs time and proximity, fire can destroy pathogens and webs, and even a well-equipped Sequence 5 must rely on teammates, artifacts, and escape routes against a Saint. Franca fully digests the Affliction potion while preparing for the mission inside The Fool's dream. There she works within a modern city whose technologies, social habits, films, and vocabulary resemble her original world, making her cultural memory strategically invaluable but emotionally dangerous. She can drive, navigate contemporary institutions, understand references opaque to her companions, and recognize when dream manifestations have been assembled from old-world experience. Yet she does not treat the city as a private homecoming. She remains with Lumian, Jenna, Anthony, and Ludwig, gathers a Demoness of Despair characteristic and materials from the reanimated Panatiya, and accepts that the mission's purpose is to awaken The Fool even if completing it destroys the most convincing imitation of home she has seen. Dream City and the Return of The Fool

Inside the dream city, Franca's familiarity helps the team interpret computers, corporations, hospitals, films, and the public image of Gehrman Sparrow, but it also creates a temptation to mistake resemblance for restoration. She works through that tension by using her knowledge as evidence rather than refuge: she and the others separate Zhou Mingrui's ordinary dream life from Celestial Worthy's arrangements, investigate mirrored Emperor Roselle, and help build an image of The World that points toward Klein's human identity. Her grief remains active—street scenes and night views can make her long for what was lost—but present obligations repeatedly determine her choices. (Chapters 2391–2431)

The decisive personal rupture comes beneath Mushu Hospital. Trapped with Jenna and Luo Shan while the dream's mirror world is sealed, Franca chooses a forced advancement to Demoness of Despair because the Primordial Demoness's attention may break the obstruction and let the others escape. The surrounding monster children provide the despair required by the potion, and Franca orders Jenna and Luo Shan through the opened mirror before the route collapses. Falling into the hospital's psychological abyss, she encounters the light gate, suspended cocoons, a vision of her former self, and an ancient Earth. She concludes that the transmigrators did not cross into another world but awoke thousands or tens of thousands of years after their own era, making return impossible. Lumian enters the abyss to save her and deliberately makes himself an emotional anchor, while Franca's renewed concern for him helps pull her out of complete despair. (Chapters 2432–2438)

Franca then turns that loss into action for the dream mission. As a Demoness of Despair she can enter the world behind mirrors directly and pass into a film, allowing her to bring out the popular cinematic image of Gehrman Sparrow. That image joins the version supported by believers and the personality woven by Audrey, producing a World aligned with Klein rather than Celestial Worthy. When Zhou Mingrui briefly awakens and the dream begins to collapse, Franca does not try to preserve the city for herself; she accepts its end as the condition for The Fool's return. Her Despair potion digests completely as the plan succeeds, binding one of the most painful acknowledgments of her life to a victory she helped make possible. (Chapters 2454–2465)

After the dream, Franca advances again by confronting the part of herself divided off in the mirror. Her Mirror Person bears her original male form and accuses her of abandoning the possibility of becoming a man again. Franca cannot persuade him through Instigation or deny that she has grown accustomed to her current body. Instead, she acknowledges him as the abandoned wishes, resentment, and lost future that are genuinely hers, while explaining that Lumian, Jenna, and the approaching apocalypse now matter more than recovering a prior life. Their reconciliation completes the Demoness of Unaging ritual, integrates the two selves, and digests the potion almost immediately because Franca truly is a consciousness carried intact across an immense span of time. The Church of The Fool then establishes her as a patron saint, giving her anchors and a way to turn the feared title “God of Disease” toward protection as well as plague. (Chapters 2475–2492)

Franca remains involved in the struggle against the Demoness Sect, the mirror world, and the apocalypse rather than stopping at sainthood. She survives attacks by multiple Demonesses of Unaging through her reconciled mirror self and resurrection abilities, fights with the Tarot Club, and advances to Sequence 2 after the Primordial Demoness falls. Her Catastrophe potion transforms natural, social, and structural collapse into angelic authority, and she uses that status to dismantle the remnants of the Demoness Sect rather than inherit its old coercive order. After the apocalypse, Aurore and Jenna have both returned in altered forms, Franca travels with them and the Tarot Club, assists younger Beyonders such as Melissa, and takes The Empress seat at the Divine Council. The woman who once pursued every ancient clue as a possible road back ends the corpus walking Trier without urgency, connected to both her lost era and a future she has helped preserve. Appearance and personality

Franca is tall and long-legged, with lake-blue eyes and flaxen hair that she commonly wears in a ponytail. Her early clothing often mixes masculine formal elements with fashionable Trier skirts, trousers, and her signature red boots. Each Demoness advancement refines her body further: Pleasure removes visible imperfections and gives her a striking, flamboyant beauty; Affliction makes her skin and figure still more compelling; Despair deepens her supernatural allure; and Unaging slightly darkens and thickens her hair while giving her the bearing of an experienced woman in her late twenties. As a Demoness of Catastrophe, her beauty can momentarily overwhelm even a prepared Beyonder's attention. (Chapters 1617–1618, 1640, 1754, 2222, 2432, 2476, and 2578)

She is expressive, irreverent, curious, and profane. Franca makes jokes when frightened or embarrassed, translates slang and cultural references from her original era, enjoys novelty, and often punctures occult solemnity with vulgar practical observations. That liveliness is not the same as carelessness. She regularly performs divination, prepares substitutes and escape routes, limits what she tells potentially compromised organizations, and can abandon a promising line of inquiry when it places companions at unacceptable risk. Franca initially uses irony to keep painful questions—her changed gender, displacement, loneliness, and uncertain route home—at a manageable distance. Her development does not resolve those questions by declaring them unimportant. She admits that becoming a woman changed her habits and emotions, that she once wanted to become a man again, and that learning the truth of the lost era nearly emptied life of meaning. What stabilizes her is the choice to regard her present relationships as no less real than the life she lost. By reconciling with her male Mirror Person instead of defeating or seducing him, she integrates rather than erases that past self. (Chapters 1607, 2438, and 2476)

Her cheerfulness becomes a form of responsibility after repeated calamities. Franca can sink into grief, jealousy, or shame, but she also recognizes when Lumian needs someone nearby who is capable of hope. After becoming an angel, she tells Anthony that Lumian may be gloomy or mad while she must often remain optimistic, because otherwise the group would have no hope left. This is neither perfect emotional health nor a pathway effect; it is the humanity she deliberately carries into godhood. (Chapters 2573 and 2578)

Pathways and abilities

Franca follows the Demoness pathway from Assassin through Demoness of Catastrophe. The pathway combines assassination, social and emotional influence, black magic, frost and black flames, disease, mirror-world powers, resurrection, and eventually authority over catastrophes. Its advancement repeatedly changes the body and intensifies Charm, while its acting and rituals expose the user to the desires, pain, despair, identity division, and godhood embedded in the characteristics. Franca's mastery is distinguished by her careful mirror work, practical divination, and willingness to plan around counters rather than assume a higher Sequence makes her invulnerable. (Chapters 1607, 1754, 2221–2222, 2432, 2475–2476, and 2578)

Assassin, Instigator, and Witch foundations

The Assassin foundation gives Franca enhanced agility, balance, stealth, weak-point targeting, weapon skill, and a feather-fall technique that can slow a descent. Instigator adds a supernatural talent for provoking impulses and steering people through language, which complements her underworld cover but does not amount to unrestricted mind control. She combines these traits by entering Invisibility, approaching from a blind spot, and striking with a hidden blade rather than trading force directly. Unknown-area effects, restraints that prevent movement, and opponents able to detect or blanket an area can still deny this preferred method. (Chapters 1630, 1642, 1657–1659, and 2432)

The Witch potion transformed Franca's body into a woman and gave her the Demoness pathway's core black magic. Her demonstrated powers include Invisibility; black flames that burn spirituality and can be left inside a target before detonation; supernatural frost and ice weapons; curses performed through blood, hair, images, dolls, or mirrors; Magic Mirror Divination and spirit channeling; and Mirror Substitution, which transfers otherwise fatal harm to a prepared reflection. These abilities consume spirituality and often require a medium, a reflected target, or advance preparation. Mirrors are also dangerous channels in their own right: the special mirror world contains entities, reversed selves, unstable passages, and powers capable of corrupting or replacing a traveler. Demoness of Pleasure

At Sequence 6, Franca gains translucent spider-silk webs that can spread through an area, entangle targets, and transmit a sensation of intense pleasure through contact. The webs provide battlefield control rather than guaranteed victory: strong flame can reveal and burn them, and an enemy who escapes the prepared area can deny her accumulation of restraints. Pleasure also strengthens her Assassin and Instigator abilities, Black Fire, Frost, curses, and mirror magic. She can combine a reflected image with a black-flame curse and use Mirror or Staff Substitution both to avoid lethal harm and recover to a degree. (Chapters 1754, 1816, and 1920–1921)

The potion perfects her features and creates a powerful passive allure. Its acting principle exposes an important limitation: producing pleasure is not by itself healthy intimacy, and pleasure can lead a target toward dependency, corruption, or pain. Franca experiments and jokes about the effect, but her prolonged difficulty digesting the potion shows that indiscriminate seduction would not safely solve it. Her eventual progress depends on understanding the different consequences of pleasure and on relationships whose consent cannot be replaced by pathway influence. Demoness of Affliction

Affliction's core ability is Plague. Immediately after advancing, Franca can create several kinds of pathogens within roughly thirty meters; with mastery and digestion, the radius can expand toward fifty meters. The initial incubation takes about ten seconds, after which mild allergy, fever, cough, or sneezing can quickly become pneumonia, incapacitation, or death over several minutes. The ability is ideal for stealth and attrition: Franca can approach invisibly, weaken a group without revealing her exact position, and attack once illness disrupts concentration and physical performance. Constitution matters, ordinary disease does not initially affect undead, and Hunter flames can kill enough pathogens to delay infection substantially. (Chapter 2222)

Affliction also changes Charm from a largely passive pressure into an active technique. A look, gesture, or sentence can make an enemy hesitate, surrender resistance, or develop attachment after repeated exposure, especially when combined with her appearance and aura. Her webs become precise extensions of her body and can repeatedly affect a trapped target; her hair can move as a weapon, pierce skin, inject black fire, and cause stiffness. Curses become more targeted, allowing a partial reflection to afflict the corresponding body part. These powers remain vulnerable to preparation, purification, fire, range, and superior status, and Franca's own experience with jealousy illustrates that the pathway's emotional incentives can distort its user as readily as its victim. Demoness of Despair

At Sequence 4, Franca gains godhood and a qualitative increase in disease, Charm, black magic, and mirror authority. She can create unique mystical pathogens, spread more severe effects, and directly enter the region behind mirrors without relying on an Ice Mirror Charm. The Despair potion also intensifies her connection to her Mirror Person and grants an incomplete Mythical Creature form in which her hair grows into dark, tentacle-like structures with eye-like tips. Looking upon or approaching such divinity is dangerous for lower-Sequence beings, but revealing a Mythical Creature form also increases exposure to the pathway's madness and is not a casual combat option. The advancement and acting conditions are severe. Franca succeeds because the monster children around her fall into profound despair, while she is simultaneously pulled into their emotions and her own psychological abyss. Before the potion is sufficiently digested, leaving the special conditions of The Fool's dream would cause immediate loss of control and transformation into a monster. She therefore has to remain in the dream despite learning that her original world is irretrievably past. Her rapid digestion is not evidence that Despair has no cost; it comes from undergoing and then acting through a genuine collapse of hope while helping complete the operation that awakens The Fool. Demoness of Unaging

Unaging makes the self outside the mirror and the self within it mutually continuous. After Franca reconciles with her original male Mirror Person, either side can survive through the other; she can create additional Mirror Persons, maintain dormant mirrors in hidden anti-divination locations, and resurrect so long as one suitable self remains. She can produce Mirror Projections whose power travels through positioned reflections, perceive reality and the mirror region together, and operate over a city-scale network of mirrors. This is extraordinarily difficult to kill, but not absolute immortality: an enemy who destroys the body, active mirror selves, and concealed dormant mirrors or attacks their shared mystical basis can prevent revival, and a delayed resurrection can remove her from a battle even when death is not final. (Chapters 2475–2476, 2486, and 2563–2565)

The Sequence further grants or strengthens petrification, mirror-mediated curses, city-scale plague, direct mirror traversal through the eyes, and the ability to pull targets or even structures into the mirror world. Franca fully digests the potion on advancement because her consciousness has remained unaged across thousands of years of suspension. That acceleration does not remove the next danger: advancement to angelhood requires faith anchors, and without them the godhood and predecessor's imprint would make loss of control more likely. Her patron-saint role under The Fool supplies those anchors while also obligating her to answer prayers and consider whether disease authority can be used to cure rather than merely harm. Demoness of Catastrophe

As a Sequence 2 Angel, Franca can create or guide natural calamities such as blizzards, tsunamis, earthquakes, floods, meteor strikes, volcanic eruptions, and mirror-world collapse. “Catastrophe” also covers accidents within social or mechanical systems—train crashes, structural failures, stampedes, or weapons discharging at the wrong moment. At the abstract level, she can identify an instability within a person, environment, or system and make it collapse from within, comparable to a Hunter exploiting an external weakness. A target already maintaining an unstable supernatural balance is therefore especially vulnerable. (Chapters 2572 and 2578)

Her catastrophes can be attached to destiny as curses: an object or spoken phrase may cause whoever touches or hears it to suffer successive calamities without direct contact with Franca. Her lower-Sequence abilities rise to angelic scale as well; mystical pathogens can erode complete Mythical Creatures, and she can create additional dormant mirrors even before full digestion. The breadth of the authority does not make every disaster consequence-free or perfectly controlled. Her own advancement occurs amid world-spanning calamities after the Primordial Demoness's fall, and the potion continues to digest through genuine disasters, requiring Franca to preserve judgment and anchors while wielding concepts that naturally spread beyond a single duel. Divination, mirrorcraft, and field operations

Franca is an experienced ritualist and occult investigator independent of raw Sequence rank. She performs Magic Mirror Divination, spirit channeling, anti-divination cleanup, and black-magic curses; evaluates Beyonder ingredients and artifacts; and translates modern or ancient concepts that her companions cannot recognize. Her divinations provide directions and risk assessments rather than certainty. She explicitly avoids treating a favorable result as proof that no ambush exists, and high-ranking interference, isolation, or a misleading question can make revelation incomplete. Her most consistent combat contribution is coordination. Franca prepares Mirror Substitutions for teammates, lays webs and plagues to shape terrain, transfers messages and people through mirrors, and uses Invisibility to gather information before committing the group. She can rapidly understand Lumian's plans and adjust when a direct kill is impossible, while Anthony's psychological reading and Jenna's own Demoness abilities cover gaps in her perception. This style remains central even at high Sequence: the powers become more spectacular, but her survival against multiple saints and angels still depends on planned mirrors, Tarot Club support, suitable items, and companions who know what she is trying to accomplish. • Lumian Lee: Franca first treats Lumian as Muggle's dangerous younger brother, then becomes his occult guide, teammate, lover, and emotional counterweight. Their trust is repeatedly tested by secrecy and his bond with Jenna, but both risk themselves to keep the other from despair or death.
• Jenna: Franca protects and mentors Jenna, helps fund her advancement, and becomes her lover. Their relationship grows beyond teacher and dependent, while the triangle involving Lumian forces them to distinguish freely chosen affection from the Demoness pathway's Charm and acting pressures.
• Aurore Lee: Franca knows Aurore as Muggle of the Research Society and mourns her death. Helping investigate the April Fool's conspiracy binds her to Lumian; after Aurore's restoration, the two become friends and traveling companions who share memories of the lost era.
• Anthony Reid: Anthony is Franca's long-term teammate and psychological support. She values his analysis and reconnaissance, while he recognizes that her deliberate optimism helps keep Lumian and Jenna functioning through catastrophe.
• Fors Wall: Fors is the Major Arcana sponsor of Lumian's team and coordinates the dream-city operation, mirror-world travel, and high-Sequence advancements in which Franca participates.
• Xio Derecha: As Madam Judgment, Xio is Franca's original Major Arcana superior. She protects Franca, directs her infiltration of the Demoness Sect, and gives her enough discretion to abandon actions that would require mass plague or unacceptable harm.
• Hela: Hela is Franca's Research Society vice president and one of the few leaders she trusts with the investigation into April Fool's, Celestial Worthy, and the truth of transmigration.
• Gardner Martin: Gardner is Franca's lover and Savoie Mob superior, but she also infiltrates his circle on behalf of the Tarot Club. His secret order and mirror counterpart make their relationship both a source of intelligence and a mortal conflict.
• Klein Moretti: Franca enters Klein's dream to help awaken him, uses the film image of Gehrman Sparrow in the decisive plan, and later joins the formal Tarot Club under his returned leadership as The Empress.
• Luo Shan: Franca protects Luo Shan in the dream city and forces her own Despair advancement to open an escape route from Mushu Hospital, allowing Jenna to take Luo Shan to safety.
• Ludwig: Ludwig is the youngest member of Franca's operational family. She includes him in the dream-city team, relies on his unusual knowledge and abilities, and continues living near him after the apocalypse.

• Traveler's Bag: Franca receives a spatial bag as a Tarot Club reward and uses it to carry clothing, ingredients, artifacts, sealed dangers, and the team's supplies. A bag exchanged with Lumian is destroyed in the conflict surrounding the Primordial Demoness, while Franca possesses another by the final chapter. (Chapters 1927–1930, 2028, 2318, 2573, and 2611)
• Sword of Courage: Lumian transfers the Red Priest broadsword and part of its thirty-sword seal to Franca and Jenna after outgrowing it. Franca is the latest specifically shown carrying it in her Traveler's Bag. (Chapter 2518)
• Pride Armor: Franca uses the captured sentient armor against Overseer Perle, exploiting its hostility toward a god-touched enemy. Perle exiles it, but an unexplained intervention returns it to Franca's bag before Jenna later sells it. (Chapters 2162–2167 and 2384)
• Black Tear: Black Tear belongs to Lumian, but Franca is its principal temporary wielder in several mirror operations. She uses it to transmit a letter through a mirror, enhance plague and mirror traversal, and delay stronger enemies before returning it to Lumian. (Chapters 2281, 2293, and 2300–2304)
• Mirror Cufflink: Franca takes the glass cufflink recovered from Jebus and names it. Its limited charges allow entry into and travel through the mirror world and can record mirror coordinates; she uses it during the Moran Avigny operation before Lumian exhausts its remaining uses.
