Zhou Qianlin

Zhou Qianlin is a National Eastern University student whose restorative Discipline, emotional bond with Lan Jue, and affinity with the Banishing Blade Demortus make her central to humanity's survival. Introduced under a carefully constructed public identity, she grows from a secretive hospital volunteer and support Adept into the Paragon Guanyin, Queen of Heaven, whose Salvation Domain can restore bodies and protogenia, shelter the strongest Paragons from universal suppression, and turn faith into protection for others.

Qianlin is not Zhou Jinyu, the woman Lan Jue knew as Hera. The corpus eventually establishes them as sisters raised by the Clairvoyant. Qianlin temporarily encourages the Hera identification as part of her mission to approach Lan Jue, but her recordings and later choices distinguish her identity and love from her sister's. (Chapters 18, 204, and 528–530)

Biography

The staged wedding and an unwanted debt

Zhou Qianlin first appears publicly as the daughter of Eastern statesman Zhou Xueguan and the bride in a politically consequential marriage to Richard Austin. Her worry before the ceremony is real, but the apparent life surrounding it is later revealed to have been arranged. The Clairvoyant raised Qianlin and her elder sister, Zhou Jinyu, and established Qianlin's identity as the Chairman's daughter. After Jinyu's death, Qianlin agrees to continue her sister's mission of approaching and influencing Lan Jue. She engineers the wedding situation with Pearl and uses a drug because she fears betraying the deception. Richard believes the relationship and wedding are genuine; Qianlin does not reciprocate his desire to marry her. (Chapters 13–18 and 528–530)

Lan Jue abducts Qianlin from the ceremony because her face, voice, scent, and manner resemble Jinyu so closely that he believes Hera has survived. While Qianlin is impaired by the drug, he has sex with her under that mistaken belief. Qianlin immediately challenges his claim that he had no alternative, tells him a hospital could have treated her, and makes clear that she is Zhou Qianlin rather than Zhou Jinyu. The encounter is not a romantic reunion for her: it is a violation caused by his certainty that she is someone else. She refuses to let his grief erase the harm done to her. (Chapters 17–19)

Qianlin nevertheless does not expose Zeus or demand a public reckoning. She requires Lan Jue to repay the debt by serving as her bodyguard for three years and to appear when called. The arrangement serves her hidden mission by keeping him close, but it also gives her control over what follows. At first she is cold and exacting, especially when he slips into calling her Hera. She makes him confront the distinction: resemblance does not make her a replacement, and his devotion to her sister does not entitle him to define who she is. (Chapters 20–37 and 62–68)

Away from the wedding's politics, Qianlin's established habits reveal a quieter purpose. She studies at the NEU, lives simply despite her public family, and volunteers at Grace Hospital and its retirement home. She washes clothes, tends elderly residents, and performs ordinary care without seeking recognition. This service is not a disguise invented for Lan Jue; it expresses the compassion that later becomes the foundation of her Discipline. Her friendship with Tang Mi and affection for the patients also give her relationships that are hers alone, outside both her sister's mission and Lan Jue's grief. (Chapters 37–56 and 118–122)

Taihua and the cost of healing

As Lan Jue returns to teaching, Qianlin watches him attempt to build a new life. Their bodyguard routine places her on the back of his bicycle and in his etiquette classroom, but she does not simply submit to his protection. She challenges his assumptions, cooks for him, keeps her own academic work, and decides when to use the paired Soulcaller Gems. When Richard continues to pursue her, she refuses to acknowledge the marriage he wants and turns to Lan Jue only when she chooses. Her private admission that she misses him marks affection developing beneath a mission she still has not confessed. (Chapters 104–130 and 156–204)

The attack on Planet Taihua exposes what Qianlin values most. On learning that Lan Jue is trapped among the violet creatures, she abandons caution and searches for a way through the blockade. She reaches him after his use of the Fantascia Genetica Decoction and prolonged Ascension leaves his body and Core beyond ordinary medicine. Before the Wine Master and Doctor, Qianlin opens her own Core and places her life at their mercy to prove that she intends to heal rather than harm him. (Chapters 141–148)

Her hidden Discipline manifests as the Silkworm's Mystic Raiment, also called Regination. Qianlin transfers her own power into a cocoon that repairs Lan Jue's marrow, tendons, spirit, and damaged Core, cleansing and strengthening him rather than merely closing wounds. The act costs her the cultivation she has accumulated and forces her to begin again; the Doctor states that a bearer can use this fate-changing restoration only three times in a lifetime. Qianlin accepts that cost without asking whether Lan Jue will return her feelings. Saving him is her decision, and it is the first time her altruism changes the course of the larger conflict. (Chapters 147–152)

Afterward her active Talent appears to awaken late, and Lan Jue helps her begin cultivating openly. She does not initially know its name or full mechanics. Its white energy is gentle and adaptive rather than offensive, consistent with the compassion she demonstrates at Grace Hospital. Qianlin's uncertainty about her own power remains important: later titles and ancient associations do not mean she understood them from the beginning, and the corpus does not establish how much of her earlier hidden training survived the Mystic Raiment beyond the effects explicitly shown. (Chapters 157–168)

The ARC class and a forced union of Cores

Qianlin chooses to enter Lan Jue's ARC program even though she is not a combat specialist. She accepts the same punishing physical and mecha training as the other students, never using the Soulcaller to ask him for relief. Her endurance, balance, and adaptability stand out even among combat students; when instructors question whether she belongs, Lan Jue answers that participation is her choice and that she has earned her place. Qianlin's persistence transforms her from someone protected under a private contract into a teammate capable of bearing collective pressure. (Chapters 268–305)

During the exercises she discovers that her white Discipline can merge with another Adept's Talent and amplify it. At fifth level she raises Lan Jue's effective power by roughly half a rank, and her support gives Tang Mi's squad a decisive improvement. The effect does not replace a target's Discipline; it adapts to and strengthens what is already there. Qianlin is pleased that the ability can help others, but she still lacks a full account of its origin or limits. Its value lies in cooperation, matching the way she survives the ARC class by strengthening a group rather than competing for the most visible victory. (Chapters 305–313)

The Barrows crisis brings Granny Bess—revealed as Bize—into the open. Bize uses blood touched by Qianlin's power to complete the Arrow of Compassion and fulfills a promise to the Clairvoyant by fusing Qianlin's Discipline with Lan Jue's. A silver net constrains each Core when they are apart. Physical intimacy can cause Qianlin to dissolve into Lan Jue, after which both Cores coexist in one body and their combined Talent rises dramatically. Qianlin does not design this bond and initially knows no more about its mechanics than Lan Jue does. (Chapters 329–340 and 367–368)

The union gives them extraordinary strength but also removes privacy and creates mutual risk. When separated, Lan Jue falls to a fraction of his former power; when merged, Qianlin initially has no control over the shared body. Their Disciplines circulate through each other, cultivation benefits both, and damage to one can endanger the other. Qianlin's feelings deepen in this involuntary closeness, yet she continues to insist that emotional consent cannot be assumed from mystical compatibility. The bond can create the conditions for intimacy, but it does not settle the deception she still needs to confess. (Chapters 336–350 and 419–436)

Infiltration, rejection, and the truth left unsaid

Qianlin accompanies Lan Jue into Western territory when Su Xiaosu is taken. She is not present merely as a reserve of power: she questions his plans, maintains contact through the Soulcaller, helps capture Raphael, and follows the covert operation into the Pontiff's and Dark Citadel's sphere. Her compassion does not make her naïve. She accepts kidnapping an Archangel as leverage because Xiaosu's captors will not yield to a polite request, and she works with Lan Jue to exploit divisions among stronger enemies rather than confront them head-on. (Chapters 367–388)

Shortly before the Great Adept Tournament, Bize openly identifies Qianlin as a protégé and names the Queen of Heaven as a transformative Discipline rooted in empathy and altruistic blood. During the tournament, Qianlin supports Lan Jue while he re-cultivates through the ranks and works to understand her own bond with him. Her power lets him fight at his true level when they join, but she does not treat his tournament success as hers to claim. She watches his growth, cares for Jun'er, and lets the contest test whether their emotional connection can become something chosen rather than arranged. (Chapters 367–481)

The appearance of the Banishing Blades raises the stakes. Demortus is identified as the weapon suited to Qianlin, and the Harmonious Swords require an emotional union without barriers. Qianlin cannot offer that honesty yet. She rejects or delays Lan Jue's advance not because she feels nothing, but because she knows that the public family, wedding, and circumstances that brought them together were engineered. Her own recordings later show that she believes accepting his love before telling him the truth would continue the manipulation. (Chapters 461–496 and 529–530)

Qianlin finally comes to Skyfire Avenue carrying the black box that contains the evidence, exhausted after preparing to confess. Lan Jue has already left, and when he returns she sees Xiuxiu crying in his arms. Interpreting the embrace as proof that she has lost her chance, Qianlin removes the Soulcaller pendant and Pelagic Pearl and cuts her cooperation with the summoning bond. Her withdrawal is a painful decision rather than indifference: she wants Lan Jue to know her as herself, yet fears that every route to him has been compromised by Hera's resemblance and the Clairvoyant's plan. (Chapters 497–510)

The Astral Phantom's poison and the long dream

Before Qianlin can explain, the Astral Phantom ambushes Lan Jue. She feels the danger through their remaining Core connection and repeatedly tries to summon him despite the Paragon Domain blocking her. When the link finally opens, Qianlin pulls Lan Jue out of the killing zone and deliberately puts herself between him and the assassin's dagger. The blade misses a vital structure but delivers poison that attacks at the cellular level. She chooses the exchange knowingly, satisfied that he is alive even as her own life fades. (Chapters 522–523)

Luo Xianni, the Doctor, and the Avenue remove the poison and save both of them, but they are too late to prevent damage to Qianlin's brain. She enters a persistent vegetative state: her body responds to stimuli, while no outward consciousness remains. The Clairvoyant tells Lan Jue that Qianlin and Jinyu were the girls he raised. The recordings he preserved show that Jinyu's love became genuine after an assigned approach, and that Qianlin later chose to follow her sister's request, created the staged wedding, watched Lan Jue from afar, and fell in love while becoming increasingly unable to bear the lie. These records settle the identity question: Qianlin is Jinyu's younger sister, not Hera returned. (Chapters 524–530)

Qianlin cannot participate in that disclosure outwardly. She remains linked to Lan Jue, who carries and tends her while declaring that he loves her separately from Hera. Later she explains that she experienced these months like a dream: she could see and feel his care but could not wake or communicate. Her stillness therefore should not be read as consent to every choice made around her. The story explicitly limits her agency during this period even while preserving her inner awareness. (Chapters 530–594 and 793–800)

Demortus joins with Qianlin while she is in this state. Xuanyuan Shishi reports that her Discipline accepts the blade without resistance and describes her as uniquely resilient, but he also controls her body during early sword training and imprints Ten Thousand Swords as One upon her. Qianlin's body can wield Demortus and practice with Lan Jue; Qianlin herself is not yet awake to direct those scenes. The joining increases her cultivation and links her weapon to Captus, but recovery of consciousness remains unresolved until her Paragon breakthrough. (Chapters 546–557 and 594–599)

A silent partner on the Northern front

Qianlin travels with Lan Jue through Star Division's early war campaigns while outwardly unresponsive. Their Core bond lets him summon, carry, and cultivate with her, and Demortus' sword spirit can bring her body into the Harmonious Swords. The resulting attacks injure the Violet Prince and other enemies that ordinary weapons cannot harm. Yet the victories coexist with a moral constraint: Lan Jue and the others are acting with a partner who cannot presently answer them, and the corpus later confirms that Qianlin perceives these events without being able to intervene. (Chapters 594–636 and 665–695)

Immortal qi transmitted through Lan Jue's thunder essence nourishes her Queen of Heaven Discipline during the long dream. Her Talent continues to refine itself, becoming unusually pure and advancing faster than Lan Jue's as they approach ninth rank. The bond also lets their combined cultivation support the Harmonious Swords, but they delay Paragon deliberately. Lan Jue believes the breakthrough may restore her mind; rushing it could instead damage both their foundations and humanity's best chance against the aliens. (Chapters 636–665 and 698–736)

On the Northern front, Qianlin's body joins the Avenue's Paragons in scouting and fleet actions and bears Demortus against the Violet Prince. Her power is principally supportive, while the blade supplies direct lethality. This distinction matters: Demortus is an item with its own spirit and inherited techniques, not proof that Qianlin's native Discipline has become an offensive Talent. The unhealing wounds inflicted by the three Banishing Blades demonstrate their danger, while her own Queen of Heaven power continues to develop toward preservation. (Chapters 672–716)

At the Human Survival Conference and its aftermath, the Harmonious Swords help demonstrate that Adepts can damage foes beyond conventional arms. Qianlin's body and sword remain integral to that proof, though her consciousness is still trapped. Lan Jue increasingly treats their shared future—not vengeance or rank—as the reason to endure. Their story at this stage is therefore not a conventional partnership: it is one person carrying responsibility for another while hoping a joint path chosen under compromised circumstances can eventually become mutual again. (Chapters 702–732)

Awakening as Guanyin

The counteroffensive gives Qianlin and Lan Jue the opening for which they have waited. They continue cultivating through reconnaissance and planetary rescues, suppressing the urge to break through until their foundations are ready. When a Monarch doppelganger threatens the Paragon team, they use the Harmonious Swords and then ascend together. Universal protogenia manifests like tribulation lightning, their Banishing Blades blaze with golden runes, and both emerge directly as Reflections of Heaven and Earth rather than at the first Paragon degree. (Chapters 733–789)

The breakthrough finally lets Qianlin wake. She initially maintains the same blank expression long enough to tease Lan Jue, then speaks, embraces him, and chooses their relationship with full awareness. She tells him she experienced the vegetative months as a dream and remembers his care. Their reconciliation does not make the old deception disappear; it resolves it because Lan Jue now knows the recordings and Qianlin can answer as herself. She agrees that they will marry after the war. (Chapters 792–795)

Qianlin's Paragon Domain reveals the mature form of her native Discipline. Its aura stabilizes and restores protogenia, strengthens allied Domains, and shields beings at the Infinite from the universe's suppressive force. Her presence allows Luo Xianni to complete her breakthrough and use her full power without losing vitality. Qianlin herself does not immediately understand why these effects occur and is reluctant to take the name of a goddess; the title Guanyin, Queen of Heaven is proposed after others witness the compassion and scale of what she does. (Chapters 793–799)

Her first vast act as a Paragon is not an attack. Qianlin asks for alien-infected survivors and discovers that their corruption recoils from her presence. She expands her Salvation Domain over millions, burns away the violet poison, restores their bodies and consciousness, and calms the rage and trauma left behind. Saving others replenishes and refines her own protogenia, so the Domain soon returns more energy than it consumes. The rescued Western population responds with faith in Guanyin, and that faith accelerates both Qianlin's growth and, through their bond, Lan Jue's. (Chapters 797–800)

Qianlin then joins the rescue of Heaven's Light. Her Domain purifies what Lan Jue's lightning destroys, and Demortus' innumerable sword paths guide the Five Lightnings against Monarch's avatar. When Boundless Starlight severs the avatar from its home worlds, Qianlin and Lan Jue align their dharmas, Domains, hearts, and blades in the Harmonious Swords. The combined attack destroys the Nirvana-level enemy and cleanses its vital crystal. Qianlin's support is not secondary to the victory: it stabilizes their shared power and supplies the restorative principle that the purely destructive Domain lacks. (Chapters 803–810)

Faith, sacrifice, and the Immortal Realm

Faith from the rescued worlds pushes Qianlin and Lan Jue toward Nirvana dangerously quickly. Qianlin's rise is the less stable because much of her earlier growth occurred through their bond and because faith continues arriving faster than she can master it. Jue Di orders them to consolidate rather than chase rank. Qianlin agrees, uses her inherently steady power to help Lan Jue bear the pressure, and later supports Lan Qing and the Pharmacist through their own breakthroughs. Her ability to stabilize others becomes a strategic resource that must still be managed with discipline. (Chapters 810–822 and 881–882)

During the final campaigns Qianlin helps preserve Angel, supports Jue Di and Luo Xianni against universal protogenia, and fights beside Lan Jue with Demortus. She is captured with him inside the alien home worlds and survives through their joined Domains and trust. The escape recovers Ultus and reunites the four Banishing Blades, but it is paid for by deaths among their family and allies. Qianlin gives Lan Jue space to grieve Xiuxiu rather than treating the other woman's love as a rivalry, and she later faces Hua Li and Mo Xiao's sacrifice with anger transformed by what they gave to protect him. (Chapters 822–880 and 902)

Li Ke's Banishing Strategy requires Qianlin, Lan Jue, Lan Qing, and the Pharmacist to offer their full power through Demortus, Captus, Ultus, and Occisus. Qianlin accepts that the formation may kill her. Her restorative Domain is least suited to the Strategy's destruction, and her spirit begins to fail first under Demortus' demands. She is prepared to die with Lan Jue until the prayers of Angel and then all humanity reach her. Because the liberated Westerners already believe in Guanyin, Qianlin becomes the first focus of this faith; at her breakthrough she shares it across all four bearers rather than keeping its protection for herself. (Chapters 864–899)

Faith carries Qianlin to the Infinite and completes her dharma with a veil, lotus, willow branch, and vessel of pure water. The shared power stabilizes the Banishing Strategy, allowing it to erase Monarch and the Violet Prince. After victory, Qianlin uses the Light of the Goddess of Mercy to preserve the fragile spirit remnants that Lan Jue's destructive Domain cannot safely recover. She enters the new immortal realm with the other sword bearers, but does not remain there as a ruler. Her Domain can shelter their Infinite cultivation so long as they do not deliberately pursue further growth, making a human life outside Europa possible. (Chapters 899–903)

Three years after the war, Qianlin is married to Lan Jue and they have a son, Lan Zhou. They live on Skyfire Avenue and share responsibility for Jun'er and Hua Yun. Her ending is not absorption into Hera's unfinished life: it is the ordinary future Qianlin chose after her own truth was known, built with the man who learned to distinguish love for two sisters without treating either as interchangeable. (Chapter 903)

Appearance and personality

Qianlin has long black hair, striking blue eyes, pale skin, and an appearance repeatedly described as angelic. She favors simple white dresses, including one associated with her own taste rather than ornament chosen for the staged wedding. Her physical resemblance to Zhou Jinyu is so exact that people close to Jinyu can mistake them at first sight. The text nevertheless distinguishes their expressions: Jinyu's recorded gaze is warmer, while Qianlin's is described as livelier. Resemblance is an inherited feature, not evidence of one identity. (Chapters 13–19, 119, and 529–530)

Her gentleness is paired with strong boundaries and a stubborn will. Qianlin cares patiently for elderly strangers, withstands ARC training without complaint, and finds her greatest joy in saving the infected. The same character lets her confront Lan Jue over the wedding, refuse Richard, cut the Soulcaller connection when hurt, and risk death on her own terms. She can be playful and teasing with people she trusts, but much of her early reserve comes from knowing that her public identity and approach to Lan Jue are deceptive. (Chapters 18–20, 56, 291–313, 497–510, and 793–800)

Qianlin is compassionate rather than passive. Her decisive actions—continuing Jinyu's mission, binding Lan Jue to repayment, sacrificing her cultivation on Taihua, entering the ARC class, summoning him away from the Astral Phantom, and accepting the Banishing Strategy—carry consequences that she knowingly bears. Her flaw is that she sometimes tries to absorb those consequences alone. She delays confession, hides pain, and prepares to sacrifice herself rather than asking others to share the choice. Her mature Domain externalizes the best version of this instinct: instead of erasing herself for one person, she strengthens a community while remaining present within it. (Chapters 141–152, 329–368, 497–530, and 888–903)

Disciplines and abilities

Qianlin's native power develops from the Silkworm or Regination Discipline into the Queen of Heaven and, at Paragon, Salvation protogenia. It is primarily restorative, adaptive, and amplifying. Her offensive sword techniques come from Demortus and Xuanyuan Shishi rather than from an unexplained change in the nature of her innate Talent.

Regination and the Mystic Raiment

The Doctor identifies Qianlin's hidden inheritance as Regination, the Silkworm Discipline passed to one family member per generation. It grants unusual vitality, rapid cultivation, physical resilience, and a pure altruistic energy, but little innate combat force. Near ninth level, a bearer can connect with another person's power and transfer her own. The corpus establishes the effects and lineage description, but does not fully explain when Qianlin first awakened it, how Bize trained her before the public “late awakening,” or how much she deliberately concealed. (Chapters 147–150, 168, and 367–368)

Mystic Raiment is its supreme restorative expression. Qianlin opens her Core, manifests a silkworm-like being and cocoon, and gives her accumulated cultivation to rebuild Lan Jue from marrow and tendons through spirit and Core. The more severe the injury, the greater the potential benefit; the cocoon can cleanse impurities and improve the recipient's foundation, not just return it to its prior condition. Its cost is severe: the bearer loses her abilities and must re-cultivate from the beginning, and the Doctor says it can be used only three times in one life. Qianlin's latest state does not establish that this limit vanished after Paragon, so it remains a sourced restriction. (Chapters 147–152)

Adaptive amplification and the joined Cores

After rebuilding her Talent, Qianlin projects white energy that adapts to another Adept's Discipline and amplifies it. At fifth level it raises Lan Jue by approximately half a rank and substantially strengthens fellow trainees. It is most effective as cooperative support; the text does not give a fixed universal multiplier, range, or duration. Its mechanism anticipates her Paragon Domain, where interaction with another person's protogenia becomes even more important. (Chapters 305–313)

Bize's intervention forcibly links Qianlin's Core to Lan Jue's. When apart, silver or golden constraints limit their individual power. Contact and especially a kiss can cause Qianlin to dissolve into light and merge with him, placing both Cores in one body and raising their combined cultivation. Before Paragon, Lan Jue normally controls the shared body; afterward either can take control. The bond transfers nourishment and injury, permits mutual cultivation, and allows one partner's growth to support the other. Its exact metaphysical basis beyond Bize's blood ritual, the Arrow of Compassion, and the Clairvoyant's design is not fully explained. (Chapters 329–340, 367–368, 435–436, 594–599, and 798–811)

This link is powerful but conditional. Separation weakens Lan Jue during his re-cultivation, emotional refusal can block summoning, and poison or instability can threaten both. It does not itself create consent or emotional harmony. The Harmonious Swords reach their greatest strength only after Qianlin and Lan Jue knowingly reconcile, showing that a physical or energetic union cannot substitute for aligned intention. (Chapters 336–340, 497–523, 793–810, and 852–878)

Demortus and Ten Thousand Swords as One

Demortus is the blue, ever-changing Banishing Blade joined to Qianlin. Xuanyuan Shishi, its sword spirit, imprints Ten Thousand Swords as One and initially guides her unresponsive body through training. The style creates countless images or paths of the blade, each carrying lethal sword intent, then can unite them toward a single purpose. Demortus' sharpness can pierce powerful defenses and leave alien wounds that resist healing. These are weapon-derived effects; Qianlin's own Discipline supplies adaptability, stability, and the bond that lets her bear them. (Chapters 494–495, 546–555, 594–599, and 679–695)

Joining is not complete mastery. Shishi states that Qianlin is exceptionally compatible, but her control and cultivation still determine how much of Demortus she can use. The blade's demands strain her spirit more severely than the other bearers during the Banishing Strategy, in part because her native Domain is not combative and her spirit has undergone less tempering. At the Infinite, faith and the completed dharma let her sustain a far greater share, but that final feat depends on billions of believers and the other three swords rather than on Demortus alone. (Chapters 888–900)

Harmonious Swords

Harmonious Swords is Qianlin and Lan Jue's paired style with Demortus and Captus. It requires union of heart and intention as well as synchronized sword methods and energy. Qianlin supplies Ten Thousand Swords' myriad incisive paths and the stabilizing, adaptive character of her Discipline; Lan Jue supplies focused flow, Taiji redirection, Five Lightnings, and Captus' concentrated destruction. Their rainbow attack can sever body and soul, overwhelm a Nirvana-level avatar, and guide the interaction of all four Banishing Blades. (Chapters 494–495, 594–599, 713–721, and 803–810)

The style is draining before Paragon and weakened by incomplete emotional alignment. After both partners awaken as Reflections, their Domains can join through the swords: Boundless Starlight isolates and suppresses the target, while Qianlin's power maintains the pair and purifies what remains. At Nirvana their connection becomes “two hearts beating as one,” allowing a more complete fusion and a Taiji sword form that redirects force too dangerous to meet directly. The technique remains collaborative; neither partner demonstrates the complete art alone. (Chapters 803–810 and 852–878)

Salvation Domain and Guanyin dharma

Qianlin ascends directly to Reflection of Heaven and Earth. Her pale Domain stabilizes allied protogenia, prevents allied Domains from being dispersed while her power lasts, and rapidly restores the energy spent on major techniques. It can affect Paragons whom ordinary healing Adepts cannot help. Its second property shelters beings from universal protogenia, allowing Infinite-level Paragons such as Luo Xianni and Jue Di to use full strength without their vitality being consumed. The protection depends on Qianlin's presence or active Domain and remains bounded by her available strength. (Chapters 785–799)

Her Salvation protogenia heals alien corruption on enormous scales. Initially her Domain covers roughly ten square kilometers unaided; merging with Lan Jue expands it severalfold. It expels violet poison, repairs the transformed body, unlocks suppressed consciousness, calms destructive emotion, and can preserve exposed spirit fragments. Healing also perfects and replenishes her own protogenia, eventually returning more power than she spends. This reciprocal growth arises when she actually saves others, not merely when she projects white light. (Chapters 797–800 and 901)

Her dharma appears first as an idealized image of herself and is recognized as Guanyin, Queen of Heaven. At the Infinite it gains a white veil, lotus, willow branch, and vessel of pure water. Faith can reach her across time and space, sustain her spirit, accelerate her cultivation, and be distributed through her Domain to allies. The final breakthrough is not solely innate: it depends on sincere mass prayer and the Banishing Strategy's primordial protection. Outside the Strategy she can shelter Infinite Paragons, but the corpus does not establish that faith makes her permanently immune to exhaustion or all forms of harm. (Chapters 797–822 and 888–903)

Training and battlefield support

Qianlin completes the ARC regimen as a mecha trainee and develops enough control to operate within squad formations. Her notable contribution is support rather than elite piloting: she amplifies Tang Mi's unit, endures physical stress, and learns to coordinate under pressure. The corpus does not rank her as a God-level pilot or give her a signature mecha, so later space combat should be attributed to Adept, Paragon, bond, and Banishing Blade abilities rather than inferred mechanical expertise. (Chapters 268–323)

As a Paragon she reads allied instability, heals exhausted fighters after major engagements, shields high-level allies, and supplies the restorative half of paired operations. Her cultivation is not inferior to the other sword bearers, but her noncombat Domain and less-tempered spirit make her the first to fail under the Banishing Strategy's destructive spiritual demand. Her representative victories therefore come through keeping stronger offensive powers functional, cleansing what those powers cannot, and converting rescue into strategic strength. • Zhou Jinyu / Hera: Qianlin's elder sister was also raised by the Clairvoyant. Jinyu's final request asks Qianlin to continue the mission around Lan Jue, but Qianlin's recordings insist that she must be loved as herself rather than as Hera's replacement.
• Lan Jue: Their relationship begins in harm, debt, and manipulation, then develops through service, conflict, shared cultivation, sacrifice, disclosure, and conscious reconciliation. They marry after the war and have a son, Lan Zhou.
• Clairvoyant: The Clairvoyant raises Qianlin and Jinyu and arranges their roles around Lan Jue. Qianlin follows his mission but suffers from the deception it requires; his final disclosure gives Lan Jue the truth she can no longer speak.
• Bize: Bize is Qianlin's hidden mentor in the Queen of Heaven lineage. She protects her fiercely, but also carries out the blood-and-Core fusion promised to the Clairvoyant without Qianlin having designed its consequences.
• Tang Mi: Tang Mi is Qianlin's closest university friend and ARC teammate. Their easy teasing and mutual concern give Qianlin a life at the NEU independent of the Clairvoyant's plans.
• Zhou Xueguan: Zhou Xueguan acts as Qianlin's public father within the identity established for her. She calls him father and participates in the family, though the exact construction of that arrangement is not fully explained after the Clairvoyant's revelation.
• Richard Austin: Richard believes Qianlin is his intended bride and continues pursuing her after the staged wedding collapses. Qianlin never accepts the marriage and rejects his assumption that persistence gives him a claim on her.
• Luo Xianni: Luo Xianni saves Qianlin from the Astral Phantom's poison and later accepts her as a daughter-in-law. Qianlin's Domain makes Luo Xianni's safe rise to the Infinite possible.
• Lan Qing: Qianlin becomes Lan Qing's strategic support and family. She shields his cultivation, shares faith across the sword bearers, and joins him in the final Banishing Strategy.
• Pharmacist: The Pharmacist fights beside Qianlin as a fellow Banishing Blade bearer. Qianlin stabilizes her Paragon breakthroughs and helps preserve Li Ke's return after the final battle.
• Xiuxiu: Qianlin initially sees Xiuxiu as a romantic rival, but comes to understand her loyalty and sacrifice. After Xiuxiu's death, Qianlin allows Lan Jue to grieve without centering her own jealousy.
• Jun'er: Qianlin helps care for Jun'er during the tournament and later shares a household in which the child is treated as family.

• Soulcaller Gems: The paired gems connect Qianlin and Lan Jue's thoughts and calls while on the same planet; Qianlin leaves her pendant for Lan Jue when she withdraws cooperation after the misunderstanding with Xiuxiu, and he is last shown holding it.
• Demortus: Qianlin's blue Banishing Blade and the source of her Ten Thousand Swords as One technique; its sword spirit, Xuanyuan Shishi, first trains her body while she remains unconscious.
• Occisus: The Pharmacist's Banishing Blade, which repeatedly fights beside Qianlin and Demortus and forms one quarter of the final Strategy; Qianlin is an ally, not its owner.
