Luo Xianni

Luo Xianni is a founder and former secret weapon of Skyfire Avenue whose control of space, dimensions, and spiritual reality earns her the working title Photographer. After decades in isolation, she returns while pursuing Jue Di and adopts his two foster sons as her own. Her abilities repeatedly turn otherwise fatal operations into survivable ones, culminating in an ascent to the Infinite and a final photograph that cripples the Violet Prince at the cost of her body. Her surviving spirit joins Jue Di in the Compliance Rod and is later restored in the Immortal Realm.

Biography

The founder who hunted Chi Bupang

Luo Xianni first tears into Jue Di's secluded home after searching for him for thirty-six years. Their history is already painful: he rejected a settled partnership because he wanted freedom and experience, while she treats that refusal as abandonment and continues seeking him across human space. Lan Jue initially sees an angry stranger able to frighten his otherwise invincible father. The Wine Master identifies her as one of Skyfire Avenue's founders, the Clairvoyant's former right hand, and the organization's old secret weapon. She left after a falling-out with the Clairvoyant, but the cause and her exact responsibility for the Clockmaker's departure are not explained. (Chapters 501–503)

Her arrival changes the family before it changes the war. Jue Di explicitly states that Lan Jue and Lan Qing are his foster children and disciples, with no blood relation to him. Luo Xianni then chooses to become their adoptive mother because they are the children he raised. Lan Jue accepts quickly and helps Lan Qing navigate the unexpected claim; Lan Qing eventually calls her mother, although he initially treats her chiefly as his father's partner and elder. Luo Xianni later calls both men her children and gives her life for them, but no later revelation makes her their biological mother. The adoptive bond is the explicit, lasting one. (Chapters 502–519)

Jue Di continues resisting a conventional relationship even after admitting affection, and Luo Xianni briefly appears to leave. Instead she returns to Skyfire Avenue, renews contact with the organization she helped found, and makes herself available to the sons' work. She criticizes Lan Jue's Taiji sword form, observes the brothers' training, and uses maternal teasing as both affection and a demand to be recognized as family. Her presence also draws Jue Di out of hiding: once the alien war threatens their children, neither of them can maintain a private isolation separate from the coming crisis. (Chapters 505–519 and 604–610)

Taking battles out of ships and planets

Luo Xianni joins the Starfields reconnaissance force as its emergency route home. Lan Jue remains mission commander, while she and the Wine Master are responsible for moving the team if an enemy is too strong to fight. That division becomes critical when a royal alien infiltrates the Northern bastion Tyrannosaurus. Luo Xianni waits until the creature is vulnerable, locks the surrounding space, and transfers it with the assembled Paragons out of the ship. Her decision prevents the Prince from destroying the bastion from within and gives the Adepts a battlefield where their power will not kill the crew they are trying to save. (Chapters 669–680)

She cannot make the danger disappear. Holding the Prince and a planet-scale environment exacts a severe cost, and breaking her control remains possible for an opponent of sufficient strength. Luo Xianni therefore combines her power with the Wine Master's more precise dimensional transport and orders the others to delay the enemy rather than seek a reckless kill. When escape becomes necessary, she provides the control that lets the group withdraw. These operations establish her characteristic contribution: she changes where a conflict occurs, who is trapped within it, and who can leave, while other fighters deliver the decisive damage. Her partnership with Jue Di also becomes operational. In the deeper Starfields, he confronts the Violet Prince while she helps transfer Zeus-1 and its intelligence out of the area. She is capable of joining the fight, but Jue Di stops her when he recognizes an opponent at his own level. Luo Xianni accepts the evacuation role despite fearing for him and later hears his private warning that a still greater entity intervened. The choice preserves the reconnaissance team, its crystals, and its evidence; it also confirms that even her Nirvana-level spatial control cannot guarantee escape if an alien home world directly seals the region. Fixing the enemy in place

During the human counteroffensive, Luo Xianni serves in the Paragon vanguard but follows Lan Jue's operational commands. On Monteux she joins him when infected humans and a progenitor threaten the ground mission. She reasons that the visible connective structure is too small to carry power between worlds and identifies the need for an intermediary. When the attack begins, she freezes the progenitor and maintains control just long enough for the Pharmacist to strike it down. The victory belongs to their coordination: Luo Xianni creates the opening and battlefield stability, while the Pharmacist supplies the killing attack and Lan Jue manages the team. (Chapters 733–749)

That method recurs against Monarch's doppelganger during Lan Jue and Qianlin's Paragon breakthrough. Luo Xianni repeatedly arrests the avatar with her camera command, even after it breaks the first dimensional prison, so the pair's Harmonious Swords can land. The universal reaction to their breakthrough eventually forces her and the other Paragons down, showing that her control remains subordinate to greater cosmic law. She then correctly reads Lan Jue's awakened dharma as inherited ancient knowledge and cautions that his exceptional finishing stroke cannot simply be repeated on demand. Her role is both protector and experienced interpreter, not the source of his breakthrough. (Chapters 785–788)

An entire planet inside the frame

Qianlin's newly awakened Salvation Domain reveals a path Luo Xianni had deliberately avoided. She has remained at the edge of the Infinite for years because Jue Di taught her that universal protogenia would begin consuming her life after the transition. Qianlin can stabilize Paragon protogenia and shield it from that universal response. Luo Xianni tests the effect, decides to advance, and asks Qianlin to remain close. Her rise is therefore her own long-prepared breakthrough, made survivable by Qianlin's support; it is not power transferred from her daughter-in-law. (Chapters 793–799)

The breakthrough unfolds while human forces recover Angel. Luo Xianni extends her consciousness through physical and spiritual dimensions, freezes mutated survivors across the world, temporarily removes the planet from normal space, and restores its rotation. She describes the Infinite as all-encompassing rather than merely present everywhere: space-time, parallel dimensions, and the spiritual realm become aspects she can perceive and affect. She gathers millions of victims so Qianlin can cleanse them, distinguishing their work clearly. Luo Xianni controls and transports the afflicted; Qianlin heals them; Lan Jue amplifies Qianlin's reach. (Chapters 796–801)

The advance also makes her more vulnerable whenever Qianlin is absent. Universal protogenia becomes an active pressure, so she cannot exercise planetary power continuously without consequence. With Salvation covering her, she can imprison the Violet Prince while another team kills a progenitor and can send a small party between planets in only a few dimensional shifts. On the Europa scouting mission she senses two Infinite pursuers, evacuates the team before they arrive, and returns its record to Middle Heaven. The mission establishes the alien evolution timetable, but Lan Qing—not Luo Xianni—makes the resulting fleet decisions. (Chapters 802–816)

The last photograph and the spirits in the rod

In the final battle Luo Xianni remains first a safeguard. Jue Di insists that she conserve power because only her interdimensional ability can extract Lan Jue, Qianlin, and the Pharmacist from the alien home worlds. She obeys even while watching Jue Di sacrifice himself, then freezes the Violet Prince and brings the returning infiltration team through the battle line. His death leaves her humanity's last Infinite-level Paragon and nearly overwhelms her control, but the family and the recovered Ultus still need protection. She carries the Compliance Rod holding the trace of Jue Di and continues fighting rather than following him immediately. (Chapters 845–857)

As the Banishing Strategy forms, the Violet Prince repeatedly attacks its defenders. Luo Xianni places herself between him and her children despite wounds that collapse her chest and destroy her camera. With the Compliance Rod in hand, she declares that she is going to join Chi Bupang, spends the remainder of her astrum and life, and takes one final photograph. The Prince becomes a two-dimensional image she tries to tear apart. He eventually escapes missing an arm and with internal dimensional fissures that continue weakening him, giving the remaining Paragons a chance to hold him away from the sword bearers. She does not kill him, but her sacrifice materially limits the opponent most likely to break the Strategy. (Chapters 894–898)

Death leaves a fragment of Luo Xianni's primordial spirit seeking Jue Di's rod. Lan Jue finds the trace after Monarch falls, and Qianlin carefully guides it into the Compliance Rod beside Jue Di's remnant. Other fallen Paragons are gathered there as well, so the vessel is refuge rather than proof of ownership over them. The spirits are taken to the Immortal Realm, where immortal qi can preserve and rebuild what universal protogenia would otherwise disperse. The restoration process is not shown step by step, but the epilogue depicts Luo Xianni physically present beside Jue Di three years later, teasing him, helping maintain the realm, and considering a child of their own. Appearance and personality

Luo Xianni first appears as an attractive middle-aged woman whose preserved Paragon body looks closer to twenty. She has long, shapely legs, a simple ponytail, and bright eyes whose anger seems to warp the reality around her. The Wine Master explains that she broke through at thirty-seven and retained that youthful appearance. After reaching the Infinite, she becomes younger again, looking roughly Qianlin's age. During her fatal final technique her body turns translucent pink and briefly resembles a girl of about fifteen before dissolving.

Her old nickname, Little Pepper, reflects an explosive temper that survives centuries of cultivation. She is direct, theatrical, jealous, mischievous, and unwilling to let dignity hide affection. Those traits coexist with careful battlefield timing: the woman who provokes Jue Di for sport waits for the exact instant to move an enemy out of a ship or freeze an avatar. She gives maternal love as insistently as she pursued Jue Di, but accepts painful restraint when protecting the children requires it. Her last act transforms the possessiveness of her early pursuit into deliberate self-sacrifice for family and humanity.

Disciplines and abilities

Interdimensional protogenia

Luo Xianni controls dimensions rather than simple point-to-point teleportation. At Nirvana she can tear open reality, enter interdimensional space, transfer groups and ships, form parallel arenas, and seal areas away from their surroundings. She uses these effects to remove the Violet Prince from Tyrannosaurus and to conceal allies until they can attack. Range, carried mass, hostile resistance, and the universal response all matter. A stronger enemy can shatter her prison, a home world may block her escape, and transporting fleets or controlling planet-scale space consumes dangerous amounts of power.

The Photographer's camera

Her astrum takes the form of a small pink camera. Its shutter arrests a target within a framed piece of space-time and can reduce the captured subject to a two-dimensional photograph. Tearing that image damages the original, as shown when her final photograph removes the Violet Prince's arm and leaves fissures through his body. The technique is not absolute: Monarch's avatar breaks free of an earlier freeze, and the wounded Prince survives her life-ending attack. Its effectiveness depends on timing, the target's condition, and how much power Luo Xianni can commit.

Continuum Conduit and the Infinite

Before her last advancement, Luo Xianni's Paragon title is Continuum Conduit, reflecting her ability to make herself present through the spatial continuum. At the Infinite, her reach expands to physical, parallel, and spiritual dimensions. She can sense souls, affect an entire planet, arrest masses of infected people, alter rotation by removing and replacing a world, and travel interplanetary distances in a few shifts. Her consciousness is described as joined to the world she controls, but this does not make her literally omnipotent or omnipresent across the universe.

Universal protogenia is the central limit. Jue Di suppresses her approach to the Infinite for years because the universe will drain and eventually destroy a Paragon who changes its rules too strongly. Qianlin's Salvation Domain conceals and stabilizes her, allowing full expression while they remain together. Without that cover, Luo Xianni must restrain herself. Her final technique spends her remaining life and destroys the camera, making it an irreversible sacrifice rather than a reusable maximum attack.

Perception, instruction, and battlefield control

Luo Xianni reads dimensional changes and protogenic development with exceptional accuracy. She identifies Qianlin's protection against universal protogenia, recognizes inherited knowledge in Lan Jue's dharma, and notices the energetic structure supporting alien planets. She also instructs the Wine Master in spatial techniques and corrects Lan Jue's sword form. Her greatest tactical value is control rather than direct destruction: she selects the arena, fixes enemies for allied attacks, concentrates victims for healing, and preserves escape routes. The killing or healing consequences often belong to the ally whose action she enables.

• Jue Di: Luo Xianni spends thirty-six years searching for Chi Bupang after he rejects commitment. Their furious reunion develops into a partnership defined by banter, trust, and shared parenthood. She survives his sacrifice long enough to protect their children, then joins and is restored beside him in the Immortal Realm.
• Lan Jue: Lan Jue is her explicitly adopted son. He first encourages her place in Jue Di's family and later relies on her as a teacher, scout, and extraction specialist. Her final message addresses him and the other children while buying time for his Banishing Strategy.
• Lan Qing: Lan Qing initially accepts Luo Xianni as his father's elder companion and only reluctantly calls her mother. The relationship becomes genuine through the war. She steadies him during Jue Di's sacrifice and compels him to continue commanding instead of surrendering to grief.
• Zhou Qianlin: Luo Xianni recognizes Qianlin as a daughter-in-law and is the first to interpret Salvation's protection from universal protogenia. Qianlin enables her safe ascent to the Infinite and later guides her spirit to Jue Di's remnant.
• Wine Master: The Wine Master calls Luo Xianni aunt and learned spatial principles from her. They combine their related but distinct powers for major evacuations; his technique is more purely spatial, while hers governs denser dimensional and temporal structures.
• Clairvoyant: Luo Xianni was the Clairvoyant's right hand during Skyfire Avenue's founding before an unexplained falling-out drove her away. The corpus does not resolve the cause, so assigning blame to either founder would be speculative.
• Clockmaker: Luo Xianni's departure is said to be part of the reason the Clockmaker also left the Avenue, but the exact chain of events is unknown. They later fight on the same side during the alien crisis.
• Pharmacist: Luo Xianni repeatedly fixes enemies in place so the Pharmacist can deliver lethal sword attacks. Their coordination destroys a progenitor and helps recover worlds, while each retains responsibility for her own part of the operation.
