The Gon household and a concealed alien inheritance

Vera first appears in Mister Gon's extended household, where she argues that Gustav should not be dismissed as ordinary and is identified as one of Gon's eldest grandchildren. Her family presents her as a mixedblood descendant, and Vera herself believes that explanation. Her interest in Gustav Oslov soon becomes invasive: she kisses him and secretly deposits a pseudo-parasitic strain through contact with his neck, expecting it to grow unnoticed inside him. Gustav's System recognizes what her family concealed. Vera is identified as a Xinophilbian, an alien whose species can seed living hosts with extremely difficult-to-detect organisms. Field service, devotion, and weaponized trust

As an MBO officer, Vera operates around Gustav's cohort without sharing all of its emotional priorities. Her language reflects an increasingly submissive fixation rather than ordinary team loyalty; nevertheless, she takes real risks for him and refuses to reveal his location after abductors extract an accidental confirmation that he is nearby. Xinophilbian parasitic control

Vera is a Xinophilbian rather than a conventional mixedblood. She can introduce a pseudo-parasitic strain through intimate or sustained physical contact: the first known attempt uses a kiss and contact with Gustav's neck, while the later Glade infection requires roughly twenty seconds through a handshake. Once inside, the strain is extremely difficult to detect. She first infects him without consent, removes the strain when confronted, and thereafter calls him master while using their residual link to find him and verify his survival. Gustav trusts and exploits her secret capabilities, ordering Glade's infection and concealing the ability that later captures G2. Vera protects him under torture and danger, but her Chapter 1419 confession establishes that devotion also produces jealousy toward Angy and a willingness to welcome another person's loss. Angy
