Elevora

Elevora is an elite Earth Mixedblood, MBO officer, and wielder of the third-eye bloodline later identified as the Seeking Eye. Initially defined by her isolation and position as the strongest first-year cadet, she becomes a trusted member of Gustav Oslov's field team, a principal investigator of the Gustavo Alliance, and the eventual partner and wife of E.E. Her bloodline combines exceptional perception, flight, physical reinforcement, destructive beams, and later size-altering energy control. (Chapters 360–1687)

Biography

The solitary first-year standard

Elevora enters MBO camp with a reputation that precedes her: other cadets identify her as the strongest special-class candidate and say she is approaching Gilberk rank. She keeps to herself even around her cousin Aildris, meets pain-conditioning exercises with the same composure as Gustav, and treats the academy hierarchy as something to test rather than accept. When she challenges Officer Cole's assumption that first-years cannot surpass the fourth attack target, she unveils the hidden eye beneath her purple headtie and destroys all seven available targets in one continuous beam. The demonstration forces the instructor to revise the exercise around exceptional cadets. (Chapters 360, 376, 396–399)

Her rivalry with Gustav grows from mutual recognition. Both endure four hours of Syrrhavo accumulation before an officer stops them to prevent bodily damage, and both worry that a full duel could cause lasting injury. Elevora reaches peak Gilberk and retains the top ranking until Gustav's later feats displace her. Rather than resent the loss, she uses him as the only nearby standard demanding her full effort; their simultaneous performance against falling constructs becomes a contest in which she spends nearly all her energy and is finally overwhelmed by mountain-sized targets. Elevora's strength is not confined to the eye. Against Ria she declines to reveal it, relying instead on flexibility, reinforced physical power, and judgment. She breaks out of closing stone walls, catches and lifts a building-sized heated boulder, and defeats him with a palm strike. The match establishes why her restraint matters: opponents who assume that covering the eye neutralizes her are still confronting one of the cohort's strongest close-combat fighters. It also exposes her limits, since increasing weight and terrain binding can slow her even when they do not defeat her. (Chapters 412–414)

From rival to chosen teammate

Field missions move Elevora from lonely competitor to responsible teammate. When Gustav is declared wanted, she does not claim a closeness she has not earned; instead, she reasons that the official story is incomplete and proposes that the group find him before hostile officers do so they can hear him directly. Her response reflects the hard sense of justice Gustav had noticed earlier: loyalty should follow evidence and conduct, not institutional pressure or sentiment alone. She then accepts aerial scouting duty, exposing the eye and using the effortful flight form because locating Gustav before the MBO does is strategically necessary. (Chapters 763–770)

By her return to camp, Elevora has reached peak Falcon and immediately asks to measure her progress against Gustav. She later chooses to remain with the group even though her one-person-army aptitude could support a solitary advancement path. Joint training at Echo rank confirms that choice: she defeats Aildris only after a long contest in which his colorless field slows her, and she adapts by physically covering his eyes and forcing close combat. Winning no longer proves she needs no one; it gives the team a better understanding of how their specialties counter and support one another. (Chapters 822, 1016–1025, 1058)

Her relationship with E.E begins to change through field reliance. During a beast escape, Elevora stays until E.E can leave and tells him she would take the same risk again if saving him required it. On the Genxodus course, her long-range sensing repeatedly gives E.E the warning he needs to place vortexes under rising flame pillars. His dimensional technique supplies the evacuation and redirection she cannot perform, while her eye supplies information his portals require. This operational fit precedes romance: they learn that each can commit to the other's safety before either openly names attraction. (Chapters 1041, 1096)

The oasis and the IYSOP team

At the oasis, E.E's teasing draws an uncharacteristic laugh and blush from Elevora. More consequentially, accidental contact between them while channeling produces the first clear connection to their bloodline predecessors. They repeat the contact to verify it and then bring the discovery to the group, leading everyone to form a chain at the fourth level. Elevora enters a purple realm inhabited by one-eyed predecessors and learns that her bloodline is the Seeking Eye and that she has the capacity to awaken its full potential. The encounter unlocks hidden potential, but the statement is prospective; it does not establish that full awakening occurs at once. (Chapters 1137–1144)

Elevora enters IYSOP as both a combatant and the team's most reliable distant sensor. She can inspect routes, detect attacks before others, and warn companions through the comms; when a destructive meteor descends, her eye turns it purple and reduces it to a pebble. She also projects destructive haze, rescues a Handler, and continues scouting when the Amir Death Angels breach the disk. Being pierced and corroded during that crisis shows that perception does not guarantee evasion against enemies whose speed and touch effects exceed her. (Chapters 1180–1323)

Her bond with E.E becomes explicit during and after the tournament. Their awkward fist-bump at an early event exposes mutual attraction, and Elevora later asks him on a date rather than waiting for his usual confidence to overcome shyness. By the Outworldly-search period they are intimate partners. Their private conversations do not isolate them from the group: concern over Gustav's vilification and Ria's capture becomes a shared responsibility, and E.E's reassurance allows Elevora to admit that even a powerful officer cannot solve every friend's crisis alone. Infiltrating the Gustavo Alliance

Elevora responds to the fabricated Gustavo Alliance narrative by pursuing its real command structure. She first defeats robed attackers while preserving one survivor for questioning, demonstrating that her severity remains controlled by investigative purpose. She then assumes the name Vora and publicly performs allegiance to Gustav on Zorath, using her eye and authority to convince the organization that she belongs among its conquerors. Acceptance into Squadron Alpha gives her access to the hierarchy and assignments she needs, but also places her beyond easy MBO contact. E.E's failed calls during Gustav's trial reflect the operational cost of her cover rather than abandonment. (Chapters 1451–1453, 1511–1517)

The infiltration continues off-world as Elevora follows leads toward the Alliance's true head. Exhaustion and hostile pursuit eventually leave her close to collapse, and E.E comes through a vortex to extract her. Their reunion changes the mission from a solitary burden into a shared campaign. When a pursuer reaches their damaged ship, E.E redirects his attack while Elevora fires from the opposite side; their synchronization turns a superior threat's force back on him. Elevora explicitly contrasts this battle with her earlier isolation: she did not have E.E then, but now they can act together. (Chapters 1575, 1597–1602)

They carry that partnership into the larger anti-Alliance operation. Elevora manages stolen authority codes, reads dense life signatures inside hostile stations, shields the boarding group, disables weapons by shrinking them, and alters a commander's legs to prevent escape. She still cannot hold barriers indefinitely and can be thrown back when an opponent anticipates her beam. The successful intelligence work is therefore collective—E.E and Angy maintain lockdown while Elevora, Aildris, and Falco reach the commanders—fulfilling the lesson her character has accumulated since camp: exceptional individual power is most effective when embedded in trusted roles. Survival, grief, and marriage

During the deity war, Elevora remains part of the hidden-star resistance and helps recover endangered survivors despite the risk of discovery. Gustav's apparent death leaves her with the same months of fear and grief as the others, and Angy's plan offers a hope none of them can independently verify. She survives the final confrontation, witnesses Gustav restore the universe, and then learns that Angy and her unborn child were consumed by his resurrection. Elevora's instinctive reach for Gustav's hand becomes helpless grief when he sends the group home to mourn without him. (Chapters 1660–1683)

Years later, Elevora and E.E marry in a floating cathedral attended by their surviving and restored companions. Their wedding completes a relationship built through mutual rescue, investigation, and repeated decisions to replace solitary heroics with shared work. The celebration is shadowed by Gustav's absence and Angy's death, but it also demonstrates what the group fought to preserve: Elevora can move beyond permanent crisis without discarding the loyalties formed within it. Appearance and personality

Elevora is a striking woman with azure hair, later worn in pigtail-like waves, and azure eyes. A purple headtie usually covers a vertical, eyelashed opening in her forehead. When uncovered, it opens into a large pitch-black or purplish eye whose glow and oppressive aura intensify with use. At her wedding she wears a reflective gown that responds to her aura with gold-and-purple trails. (Chapters 360, 376, 1451, 1687)

Her usual demeanor is calm, self-contained, and difficult to intimidate. She can meet officers, rivals, and Miss Aimee without visible fear, and she prefers decisions she can justify over obedience for its own sake. The same hardness can become ruthlessness in interrogation and battle, but she repeatedly preserves targets when information matters and accepts commands that make strategic sense. E.E draws out a warmer side—laughter, embarrassment, physical affection, and willingness to admit uncertainty—without erasing the disciplined officer who first interested him. Bloodlines and abilities

The Seeking Eye

Elevora's bloodline manifests as a third eye hidden beneath her forehead covering. Her predecessor encounter supplies its canonical name, the Seeking Eye, but the corpus does not state a bloodline grade or family origin. The eye channels black or purple energy into beams of adjustable intensity. Its earliest full attack destroys seven ascending-strength targets in one line, while later projected-eye variants attack from a second angle and produce pillar-sized beams capable of checking mountain-scale objects. These attacks consume substantial bloodline energy, generate recoil, and can leave Elevora injured or unable to respond to the next threat. (Chapters 376, 483–485, 1140)

The eye also functions as a perception organ. It sees through dense fog for thousands of feet, distinguishes concealed bloodline ranks, locates life signatures, warns of attacks before visual contact, and supports aerial reconnaissance over cities and stations. Those senses let Elevora direct other specialists rather than merely attack: E.E can position vortexes from her timing, and ground teams can intercept targets she marks. Detection is not omniscience, however. Extremely fast or unfamiliar beings can still wound her, environmental suppression can reduce output, and seeing a danger does not supply the power needed to defeat it. After the predecessor awakening, the Seeking Eye demonstrates size manipulation. A struck meteor changes color and shrinks from skyscraper scale to a pebble; later beams reduce conjured spears and chains to dust-sized or harmless forms, shrink weapons and communicators, and halve an opponent's legs. A deflected beam can instead expand into an unstable sphere, showing that size alteration can amplify as well as reduce. The story does not explain whether the eye changes matter, energy, or spatial scale, so only the observed transformations are certain. Barriers can deflect it, powerful opponents can slap it aside, and sustained use causes the eye to flicker weakly. (Chapters 1315, 1451, 1617–1618)

The same energy supports direct destruction and defense. Darker beams atomize buildings, vehicles, and opponents; purple barriers block volleys; a haze can crumble terrain and send combatants into space. Output remains discriminating only to the extent Elevora controls her aim, which is why Gustav warns her when a beam tears through a spacecraft. Her latest combat record shows continued access to sensing, shrinking, destructive fire, and barriers, but no later source confirms full realization of every capability promised by the predecessors or a rank beyond Kilo. Physical enhancement, flight, and combat skill

Elevora's bloodline reinforces her body as well as her eye. Purple energy around her arms supports the strength to stop and lift Ria's building-sized boulder, and she can fly when she releases a fuller portion of her power. She is an accomplished close-combatant with the timing to evade repeated attacks, break restraints through force, and exploit an eye-based opponent by covering the relevant organ. Flight is effortful in early missions, and physical strength can be countered by escalating weight, energy drain, or powers that slow the environment around her. (Chapters 412–414, 770, 1024–1025)

Her style is deliberately hybrid: the eye scouts and alters targets, flight supplies angle and reach, and reinforced strength handles anyone who closes the distance. This makes her unusually self-sufficient, but later campaigns show the benefit of pairing her information and beams with portals, color control, darkness, or speed. By the endpoint she remains a veteran MBO combatant and coordinated operational leader; the wedding establishes survival, not retirement or a further formal advancement. • E.E: Elevora and E.E first establish trust through complementary field roles: she detects dangers and stays behind for him, while his vortexes redirect threats and provide escape. Their oasis contact helps discover the predecessor connection, after which flirtation becomes a date and intimate partnership. Elevora's dangerous Alliance infiltration tests that bond; E.E eventually extracts her, and they continue as synchronized operational partners before marrying years after the deity war. • Gustav Oslov: Gustav is Elevora's first meaningful cadet rival and later captain.
