Mister Gon

Mister Gon is the wealthy head of the Arin family and CEO of a major clothing brand. He uses his birthday invitation, media reach, and business authority to support Gustav at a time when public opinion is hostile.

Biography

The seventieth-birthday invitation

Gon sends Gustav Oslov a personal invitation and promises any favor if he attends. At the celebration, Gon defends Gustav against elite guests who repeat the public story about his parents, then arranges a spar with his grandson Grimme as entertainment. The social pressure is deliberate but not a trap: Gon is creating a stage on which Gustav can be seen as a capable young man rather than the caricature circulating through the city. Media intervention and business sponsorship

Gon launches his media station with footage documenting Gustav's childhood abuse, overturning the crowd's judgment and broadcasting the evidence across the city. He credits Aimee for much of the material, honors his promised favor, rebukes Damien for insulting his guest, and accepts Gustav's request for a stake in G Clothing. He later gives Gustav additional secret footage that exposes surveillance, making his support both reputational and materially useful. (Chapters 325–327 and 349)

Restraint within the family

Gon's later interactions with his granddaughter Vera show that he is not interested only in profitable powers. He warns her against using a dangerous non-bloodline control method, placing a moral limit on an ability that could easily be exploited. Appearance and personality

Despite approaching seventy, Gon looks about thirty. He has triangular blue hair, a long goatee, large black fashion glasses, and a deliberately stylish manner, wearing royal-blue robes and party glasses at his celebration. He is shrewd and theatrical, but keeps promises, defends guests under his protection, and can become sharply authoritative when family members cross a line. (Chapters 308 and 320–327)

Bloodlines and abilities

No personal bloodline or formal combat rank is established for Gon. His effective power is social and commercial: wealth, citywide media distribution, private security, access to elite families, and control of a major clothing company. Those resources can change public perception and create opportunities, but his reliance on Aimee for inaccessible footage shows that even his network has limits. (Chapters 318–327)
