Sun Xin Yu

Sun Xin Yu, known in God's Miracle as Frost Night, is an elite Assassin, a police officer, and one of Lone Desert Smoke's principal combatants. Her exceptional patience, precision, and composure make her a leading player even before she acquires the S-class Shadow Dancer Inheritance; beyond the game, the same resolve makes her a crucial protector and partner to Zhang Yang.

Biography

Lone Desert Smoke and Soaring Swords

Frost Night first appears on the China-region rankings as a high-level Elf Assassin, but her ability becomes clear in the White Jade City arena. Fighting with worse equipment than Ghostly Leaf, she waits through a prolonged stealth contest, detects him first, and controls the duel with Ambush, Kidney Shot, and Vanish until he falls without landing an attack. Although she is accustomed to operating alone, Zhang Yang recognizes her value and invites her to raid Marzerway's Lair; her powerful damage and disciplined execution soon earn her a place in his developing team. (Chapters 12 and 80–83)

Her preference for independent training initially suits the solitary temperament behind Frost Night, yet joining Zhang Yang's group gradually gives that independence a stable team context. She accepts demanding melee assignments, uses stealth to scout routes, coordinates interrupts rather than chasing damage blindly, and keeps pace despite having less time online than several companions. The result is not merely a sequence of dungeon clears: she becomes one of the players Zhang Yang trusts to generate extreme damage without losing control of a fight, while learning to work inside a party whose members are far more talkative and impulsive than she is. The party's in-game familiarity is complicated when Zhang Yang discovers that Frost Night is Sun Xin Yu, a Zhou Su City police officer. Their first real-world encounters are confrontational: she objects when he treats real life as though game prowess places him above the law, and their martial-arts sparring turns their rivalry into a personal challenge. Her authority is not empty status—when officials try to pressure her, she refuses to yield, and the later disclosure that she comes from a politically powerful family explains why senior figures cannot easily intimidate her. Even so, she takes pride in doing police work properly and continues keeping daytime hours rather than casually using family influence to avoid duty. (Chapters 162–165, 204, 222, and 273)

Sun Xin Yu's dual responsibilities shape her part in the first Soaring Swords competition. She arrives only after arranging leave from work, helps the team respond when Liu Wei's scheme gets Zhang Yang detained, and uses her police contacts to start securing his release before their match. After the tournament, her bond with the group extends into increasingly ambitious operations: she infiltrates the hostile Japan–Korea region under stealth so Zhang Yang can teleport to her, fights beside him during their raid there, and returns only when work requires it. Their actions make Lone Desert Smoke a national symbol in the game, while her quieter conduct inside the group—including readily surrendering valuable loot to Wei Yan Er—shows that the former lone wolf has begun treating the core party as family. Regional War and World Competition

As the scale of God's Miracle expands, Sun Xin Yu remains a burst-damage specialist but takes on broader responsibilities in Lone Desert Smoke's elite force. She chooses Ankh the Assassin as a battle companion whose rapid offense complements her own, coordinates with the melee team during engagements, and joins its counterattacks without waiting for every order to be spoken. She also becomes more deeply integrated into Zhang Yang's household and personal life. Her earlier competitive tension with Han Ying Xue over Zhang Yang develops into an acknowledged shared partnership, but it does not soften her competitive standards: even after they become intimate partners, Sun Xin Yu still fights Zhang Yang seriously whenever the arena places them against each other. Her greatest in-game transition begins when she claims the S-class Shadow Dancer Inheritance Fragment dropped by the Queen of Blades. Lost Dream, already committed to another inheritance, yields it to her, but possession of the fragment is only the beginning: the final inheritance boss remains beyond the party for a long period, forcing Sun Xin Yu to wait until the group's transformations are available and strong enough. After the boss finally falls, the completed inheritance changes both her weapons and her tactical ceiling. She can wield one-handed swords while retaining dagger-restricted skills, fight armored opponents head-on, and transform into a winged Shadow Dancer capable of sustaining the threat and punishment of high-tier bosses. That power makes her one of China's decisive players in regional war and international competition. She helps assault defended cities, survives battles that eliminate most participants, contests loot in the air through her inheritance's flight, and voluntarily takes on other S-class holders such as Heart of Destruction. Her success is not presented as raw statistics alone: she repeatedly turns patience and timing into victories, including defeating a Guardian with a class advantage through only two Ambush activations and earning substantial support in the championship MVP vote. Across these campaigns, she remains one of the small number of combatants who can threaten Zhang Yang directly rather than merely support his plans. (Chapters 638, 650, 679–696, 720, 737, and 766)

Real-world danger ultimately requires the same decisiveness. When conflict with Liu Wei and Zhong Xiu Hua threatens the household, Sun Xin Yu's family organization helps dismantle the Liu network, while she personally responds to Zhang Yang's abduction by contacting police, tracing his planted GPS device, and directing officers to the scene. After his rescue and Zhong Xiu Hua's death, she uses her connections to accelerate visas so the household can leave before retaliation arrives. She still completes her competitive obligations, defeating Heart of Destruction in a twenty-minute unrestricted inheritance duel before the team wins another world title; afterward, she temporarily relocates the family to Luxembourg, and they later settle in Dubai. Years later she and Zhang Yang have a child, she has grown closer to Han Ying Xue through motherhood, and—after stepping away from the competitive spotlight—she is willing to begin a new game with the old group while preparing to return with them to Zhou Su City. Appearance and personality

In God's Miracle, Frost Night is an Elf Assassin who habitually covers her face with black cloth and wears fitted leather armor; her visible features include large eyes, and her real-world appearance is striking enough to surprise teammates when they first meet her unmasked. The corpus describes her as tall, physically trained, and exceptionally beautiful, while her police uniform and fighting condition reflect an athletic rather than ornamental bearing. (Chapters 80, 162, 275, and 298)

Sun Xin Yu is habitually quiet, controlled, and severe, which produces the recurring "Ice Queen" nickname. Her silence is not passivity: she is proud of her work, reluctant to retreat after giving her word, and unusually calm under prolonged pressure. She also has a fierce competitive streak and can react aggressively when embarrassed or when someone she values is threatened. Beneath that reserve, she is generous toward Wei Yan Er, gentle with vulnerable people, and deeply protective of Zhang Yang and the wider household. Abilities and gameplay

Sun Xin Yu is an Assassin built around stealth, positional control, and concentrated physical damage. Her real-world patience and trained reactions carry into the game, but her effectiveness also depends on class resources, equipment, target geometry, and the timing of defensive counters.

Assassin fundamentals

Her early signature sequence is to locate an opponent from stealth, open with Ambush, build combo points, and extend control with Kidney Shot. Ambush requires stealth and consumes Stamina, while Kidney Shot's stun duration grows with the accumulated combo count. Vanish lets her force a return to stealth, reset her opening conditions, and attack again; against Ghostly Leaf, she combines these tools so completely that he never gets an offensive turn. In party fights she also uses poison, Shadow Step to cross directly to a target's rear, and Backstab/Rear Attack for strong positional damage. (Chapters 80, 149, 169, 265, and 267)

These mechanics impose real limitations. Her best rear attack cannot be used when a target has no meaningful back, and her rapid dagger strikes can be reduced almost to nothing by very high armor. Stealth can be exposed by detection, while Ambush and Kidney Shot can be answered by status-removal or invincibility effects; against prepared opponents, she therefore has to draw those defenses out before committing to a second control chain. Area attacks and hazards can also force her away from melee range, and her non-tank defenses cannot safely absorb the same sustained punishment as a Guardian's without transformation or timely disengagement. Shadow Dancer Inheritance

Sun Xin Yu receives the S-class Shadow Dancer Inheritance Fragment after the Queen of Blades falls, then completes its difficult quest only after the party can defeat its final boss. Its passive Weapon Mastery permits her to substitute one-handed swords for daggers while still activating dagger-restricted abilities. Because swords strike more slowly but carry much higher per-hit weapon damage, percentage-based attacks such as Backstab become markedly stronger; the inheritance also provides a general damage increase and lets her combine the agility of a Bandit-style fighter with the staying power attributed to the Assassin branch. This is the basis of her later shift from dual daggers to dual swords. (Chapters 579, 606–618, 627, and 685)

The inheritance's defining Dance and Slash state allows attacks without breaking invisibility and keeps stealth-only skills available. It costs 10 Shadow Dancer Energy Points for ten seconds, with each additional point extending the duration by one second, and has a thirty-second cooldown. Its value comes from bypassing the normal one-opening limit on Ambush, although Ambush still consumes enough Stamina to constrain repeated use. The result is not literal invulnerability: opponents may still use detection or area coverage, and Sun Xin Yu must preserve sufficient resources and positioning to exploit the stealth window. Transformation and survival

Shadow Dancer Transformation manifests as translucent black wings and supplies the enormous attribute increase associated with an S-class transformation. In its first detailed use, Sun Xin Yu's damage rises fivefold and her health grows from a little over 200,000 to roughly 8,000,000, while the wings grant flight and allow her to operate where mounts cannot. Transformation does not turn her into a true tank: her burst immediately risks taking aggro from Zhang Yang, her lower defense increases healer pressure, and she must eventually shed that aggro through Vanish. High-tier magic can still threaten her despite the S-class inheritance's substantial nullification chance. (Chapters 638, 650, 688, 737, and 814)

Her inheritance-linked Slaughtering Feast covers that defensive gap with offense. For ten seconds it deals damage from both equipped weapons every second and restores ten percent of her health per tick, allowing her to recover from near depletion while continuing to attack. Because the healing arrives over time rather than instantly, concentrated damage can still kill her between ticks; Sun Xin Yu therefore waits until her health is critically low, uses the feast to refill, and later Vanishes when she again approaches danger. The sequence demonstrates her risk tolerance as well as the skill's limit. (Chapter 650)

Armor penetration, execution, and support

Sun Xin Yu obtains Eagle Eye from a rare skill book after winning the party's roll. At its first level the passive ignores half of a target's defense and can combine with allies' defense-reduction effects, directly correcting the armor problem that once reduced her dagger attacks to negligible damage. Her later sword-and-offhand damage rises sharply under the passive, and by the world league she can eliminate an inheritance-bearing Guardian with two Ambush openings. (Chapters 431, 667, 679, 684–695, and 766)

She also wins and learns Soul Cleansing, which marks a player or non-boss monster to die after three minutes provided Sun Xin Yu remains alive; it cannot affect bosses and has a ten-minute cooldown. The delay makes it poor for ordinary monsters but highly compatible with her PvP toolkit, since she can apply it and use stealth, evasion, and movement to survive until the execution resolves. Her battle companion Ankh reinforces the same burst-and-control plan: while Sun Xin Yu forces an opponent to spend status escapes and defensive cooldowns, Ankh adds damage or a second stun, allowing the pair to remove healers and pressure otherwise durable targets. • Zhang Yang: He recruits Frost Night after recognizing her talent, becomes her principal teammate and rival, and later shares a household and family with her. Sun Xin Yu repeatedly protects him through both combat and police action, but never stops treating him as an opponent worth defeating. (Chapters 80–81, 164, 298–301, 638, 698, and 852–856)
• Han Ying Xue: Their early rivalry centers on Zhang Yang and produces open jealousy, but the two ultimately accept a shared partnership with him. After both become mothers, their relationship is explicitly described as closer than before. (Chapters 447, 509, 744, and 856)
• Wei Yan Er: Wei Yan Er calls her Sister Sun, trains against her, and fights beside her throughout the core party's campaigns. Sun Xin Yu indulges and protects her, even yielding valuable equipment without hesitation. (Chapters 109, 252, 460, and 711)
• Lost Dream: Lost Dream is her fellow melee Thief in Lone Desert Smoke. He yields the Shadow Dancer fragment because he is already pursuing another inheritance, while their later roles distinguish Sun Xin Yu's sword-based S-class specialization from his dagger-based path.
