Book of Revelation
Description
The Book of Revelation is a Legendary Unique inventory item assembled from ten numbered chapters. Individual or combined sections grant a party-wide damage aura and same-place resurrection; the complete book raises those effects, adds three configurable skill-enhancement slots, and gains a large area Chaos-damage activation. It is indestructible but not bound, and a holder killed again during the resurrection cooldown drops it. (Chapters 685, 721, 761, 780, and 800)
History and custody
Broken chapters
Zhang Yang's party first finds Chapter 3 and cannot identify its origin through prior knowledge or the official site. The single chapter remains in its holder's inventory, grants nearby party members 5% more damage, and offers one same-place revival with 10% HP and MP every ten hours. Its combination text reveals that adjacent numbered chapters can merge, turning collection into a global hunt rather than a normal guided quest. (Chapters 685 and 690)
Custody spreads across the party as more chapters appear. Sun Xin Yu carries Chapter 8 because her Thief survival makes her a safer holder and because duplicate chapter effects do not stack. Zhang kills Captain America for Chapter 4 and God's Left Hand for another section, demonstrating the transfer rule: a holder who resurrects and dies again during cooldown drops the chapter. Combining Chapters 3 and 4 takes ten seconds and improves the aura to 10%, the revival to 20%, and the cooldown to nine hours. (Chapters 702, 718–723, and 735)
Assembly and completion
Boss drops and tournament prizes fill the gaps. Angus drops Chapter 2, Han Ying Xue wins Chapter 6 as a championship reward, and a later boss yields Chapter 7 while Sun still safeguards Chapter 8. With the first eight chapters combined, the book supplies 40% party damage, revives with 80% HP, reduces the cooldown to three hours, and can enhance two skills. Zhang remains one chapter short until Chapter 9 drops in Chapter 800; combining it with the already held sequence produces the complete ten-chapter book. (Chapters 755, 766, 780, 786, and 800)
Because the complete book is unbound, Zhang lends it among Silky Soft competitors: Wei Yan Er, Sun Xin Yu, and Han Ying Xue take turns carrying its 50% damage boost until tournament rules are changed to bind items inside the preparation room. Zhang also entrusts it to Han before entering a lethal trap, explicitly avoiding the risk that an immediate second death would make him drop it. These are temporary transfers and safekeeping, not changes in primary ownership. (Chapters 802 and 809)
The book remains central to Zhang's endgame configurations. He reassigns its enhancement slots among Block, Shield Wall, Rock Solid, Gates of Hell, Shadow Clone, and Radiance of God of War according to encounter needs. Its value also makes it a loot target because, unlike learned auras, it can drop. The latest demonstrated configuration improves survival against Hulkinsh by enhancing Radiance of God of War, Shield Wall, and Rock Solid. (Chapters 814, 828, 837, 840, 844, and 849)
Abilities and mechanics
The complete book increases damage by 50% for party members within 100 meters of the holder. If the holder dies, they may revive immediately at the same location with 100% HP and MP; that revival has a one-hour cooldown. A second PvP death during cooldown forces the book to drop, making safekeeping and holder survival essential. Similar effects do not stack, the book must remain in inventory, and it cannot be destroyed. (Chapters 685, 702, 721, and 800)
Three enhancement slots can strengthen selected skills. The finished book initially shows Block and Gates of Hell plus one selectable slot; later Zhang uses all three flexibly. Reassigning an enhancement has a twenty-four-hour cooldown, so he cannot freely swap the same slot in the middle of an encounter. Demonstrated results include a 50% stronger Rock Solid, a Shadow Clone cooldown reduced to ninety minutes, and Radiance of God of War usable every twenty-five minutes. (Chapters 800, 814, 828, 840, and 849)
Its active Light of Revelation deals 2,000,000 Chaos damage to surrounding enemies at the displayed level, with damage scaling by level and a seventy-two-hour cooldown. Chaos damage bypasses ordinary defensive statistics, but the fixed displayed amount is not decisive against the highest-tier players, and the three-day cooldown makes the active effect a rare resource rather than a normal rotation skill. (Chapter 800)
The unfinished book progresses predictably but not linearly: each merged sequence improves damage, resurrection HP/MP, and cooldown, while the eight-chapter form also unlocks two enhancement slots. Chapters provide no proximity notification like inheritance fragments, so collection depends on boss drops, prizes, battlefield observation, and defeating holders. (Chapters 690, 718–723, 755–780, and 800)
Relationships
- Zhang Yang: The primary collector and holder who assembles the complete book, configures its enhancement slots, and assumes the drop risk attached to carrying it. (Chapters 685–800 and 814–849)
- Sun Xin Yu: A trusted early custodian of Chapter 8 and later temporary carrier of the completed book in professional competition. (Chapters 702, 780, and 802)
- Han Ying Xue: The winner of Chapter 6, a temporary tournament user, and Zhang's chosen safekeeper before a dangerous solo passage. (Chapters 766, 802, and 809)
- Wei Yan Er: She finds Chapter 7 and later carries the completed book for its 50% attack bonus in the first championship match under the old item-trading rules. (Chapters 780 and 802)
- Captain America and God's Left Hand: Rival holders whose repeated deaths cause broken chapters to drop, advancing Zhang's collection. (Chapters 721–723)
