Wu Yuehan

Wu Yuehan, better known as Little Witch, is the daughter of Wu Yunyue, the Holy Girl of the Heavenly Demon Sect, and one of Zhou Weiqing's eventual wives. She first approaches him because his first-generation Demonic Attribute could secure her endangered sect's future, but tournament cooperation, a coercive intervention in his bloodline crisis, long separation, and a vulnerable reunion turn that institutional proposal into a complicated personal bond. Her later reflections explicitly distinguish the political marriage once expected of her from the love she eventually recognizes as her own.

Biography

From feared opponent to strategic partner

Little Witch first appears as an apparently harmless black-clad girl who has nearly destroyed the exhausted Fei Li Battle Team by herself. She turns into black mist to evade physical attacks, infects Lin Tianao and the others with corrosive Evil energy, and nearly kills Shangguan Bing'er before departing when Tian'er intervenes. When she later approaches Zhou, the pressure behind her charm becomes clear: the Heavenly Demon Sect is the weakest and most persecuted of the Great Saint Lands, lacks reliable access to God Tier Consolidating Equipment, and has gone more than a century without a fresh first-generation Demonic bloodline. As Holy Girl, Yuehan is expected to remain chaste and marry the man who will inherit leadership; her offer to marry Zhou if he joins therefore combines sect policy, bloodline survival, and personal duty rather than beginning as a declaration of love. (Chapters 69–79)

Zhou rejects incorporation into the sect, but Yuehan changes tactics instead of treating refusal as final hostility. She lends him the Demonic Manual, explains the importance of his controllable Demonic Change, and arranges for the Kalise team to surrender so she can join Fei Li's tournament roster and reach Heavenly Jewel Island. The compromise serves both sides: her sect gains access to scrolls and materials, while Zhou receives knowledge that helps him understand the Demonic Attribute and Devour. Yuehan's choices show political flexibility under scarcity; she is willing to relinquish Kalise's tournament claim and cooperate with former enemies when that offers her sect a safer route to its goals. (Chapters 87–96)

Inside the Lustre Spatial Realm, partnership begins to complicate calculation. Yuehan and Zhou coordinate against Shangguan Fei'er, using his control Skills and her Shadow Chase, Demonic Change, and charged attacks to pressure a better-equipped opponent. Her internal assessment still acknowledges that she originally flirted with him only for the Heavenly Demon Sect, yet his talent and conduct increasingly attract her. The decisive moral challenge comes when Zhou refuses to profit from a wounded mother dragon. Yuehan initially sees the dragon and egg as irreplaceable resources, but his disdain forces her to choose; she follows him into the open and uses Life energy to stabilize the dragon. That action places compassion and trust above the opportunism she first defended, leaving her later longing grounded in a choice she made beside him rather than in the sect's marriage plan alone. (Chapters 100–103)

A forced sacrifice and the burden of its aftermath

After Heavenly Jewel Island, Yuehan leaves once the sect's purchasing mission is complete. Zhou does not pursue her, and even his later denial that he accepts every interested woman illustrates the uncertainty of her place in his life. She nevertheless cannot forget the way he protected the mother dragon. While traveling toward the Ten Thousand Beast Heavens to Store Skills, she is seized by Long Shiya, who seals her Heavenly Energy and takes her to the unconscious Zhou as the female "sacrifice" required for his Dragon-Tiger bloodline fusion. Yuehan is physically unable to resist or give meaningful consent to Long Shiya's arrangement; the fact that she already regards Zhou as uniquely worthy does not remove that coercion. (Chapters 109, 115, 130, 169)

When the sect's elders recover her, Yuehan says that she helped voluntarily and identifies Zhou as the man her father wanted her to marry. Her private reaction is more conflicted: she does not regret that the man was Zhou, but she regrets the dubious circumstances in which her virginity was taken. This distinction matters to her development. The event saves Zhou's life and completes his bloodline transformation, yet it gives Yuehan neither control over the immediate act nor assurance about what follows. Long Shiya instructs Zhou to take responsibility, turning a rescue effected through Yuehan's body into an obligation the absent pair must later define for themselves. (Chapters 169–170)

Zhou accepts that he cannot abandon her, but his first resolution is framed through responsibility, honor, and his master's involvement rather than a mutual conversation with Yuehan. She receives no immediate reunion or clear place among his partners. The consequence is a long emotional gap: Yuehan has paid the intimate cost of saving him, while Zhou knows he owes her but remains occupied elsewhere. Their later marriage cannot be understood simply as the automatic fulfillment of an old Heavenly Demon Sect arrangement; it must bridge both this coercive beginning and the years in which responsibility exists without shared life. (Chapters 170–171)

An absent partner in Zhou's widening commitments

As Zhou prepares for the Heavenly Snow Mountain confrontation, Long Shiya explicitly counts Yuehan among the women for whom he must accept responsibility. Zhou agrees that he cannot dismiss her after the sacrifice, yet the conversation again happens without her. Mentions of Yuehan during the Heavenly Snow Mountain crisis place her within his prospective family while also revealing her absence from the relationships already being negotiated face to face among Zhou, Tian'er, and the Shangguan sisters. Her status is acknowledged in principle but not yet secured through attention or companionship. (Chapters 186–187)

The same unresolved bond begins to affect politics during the Heavenly Bow restoration. Zhou treats his connection with Yuehan, the Demonic Manual he received, and earlier aid from her sect as grounds for goodwill toward the Heavenly Demon Sect. He discloses his campaign plans to Ming Yu and seeks the sect's support, while later admitting his connection with Yuehan to his other partners. Yuehan herself remains offstage, so these chapters document a consequential imbalance: her personal sacrifice has created both family and institutional ties, but Zhou is still converting those ties into strategy before returning to address what she wants from him. (Chapters 191–194)

Catastrophe, reunion, and a new sect compact

During the XuanTian expedition Yuehan remains an acknowledged but distant partner; Bing'er names her among the women waiting at home, and Zhou confirms her identity when Long Shiya asks who served as the bloodline sacrifice. Distance ends when the Blood Red Hell destroys the Heavenly Demon Sect's headquarters. Zhou's first fear is for Yuehan, and she arrives visibly thinned, pale, and injured among the fewer than one-third of sect members who escaped. Their reunion exposes the personal cost of his delay: his apology makes her break down, and her tears are not only grief for the sect but the release of years spent waiting for him to seek her out. (Chapters 249, 256, 262, 267)

Wu Yunyue offers Zhou leadership of the surviving Heavenly Demon Sect because Zhou has a first-generation Demonic Attribute, growing power, and a bond with his daughter. Yuehan remains quiet during the negotiation, but the hope in her face shows that the political transfer is inseparable from her chance to share a future with Zhou. Zhou refuses to preserve the old structure unchanged; he proposes a renamed Great Saint Land and promises that his and Yuehan's child can become its future heir. The proposal protects the survivors while placing their lineage inside a broader project, transforming the marriage expectation from a demand that Zhou enter her father's sect into an arrangement under a new institution they can build together. (Chapters 267–268)

Yuehan's personal reunion follows the political one. Her father leaves her as liaison and asks Zhou to treat her well; Zhou admits that he has failed her, embraces her, and uses Saint Energy to repair the severe injuries still disrupting her meridians. Yuehan answers that she has missed him rather than accusing him, but her weakened condition and startlement at a Blood Red Hell message show that neither sect destruction nor relational insecurity vanishes with one embrace. The encounter establishes reciprocal intimacy and a promise of care, while leaving later life together to prove whether responsibility can mature into affection. (Chapter 268)

Joining the household and choosing intimacy

By the time Zhou returns from later cultivation, Yuehan is living with his other partners and is publicly treated as one of his five wives. That inclusion requires negotiation. Fei'er and Shangguan Xue'er demand a truthful account of the sacrifice and the Heavenly Demon Sect; afterward, the women include Yuehan in their private decisions rather than isolating her as a sect claimant. The group urges her to spend the night with Zhou, and unlike the earlier forced intervention, Yuehan approaches this encounter knowingly. She is nervous but receptive, later calls him her husband, and does not display aversion. The contrast does not erase what happened at the volcano; it shows that a later consensual choice finally gives her agency within the relationship. (Chapters 766–769)

The intimacy also changes her cultivation. Yuehan begins at seven Jewels in this phase; Zhou's Nebula Saint Energy mingles with her own Heavenly Energy, whose incomplete Demonic Attribute gives it a Saint-Attribute foundation. Her energy becomes reddish gold and unusually dense, and she rises rapidly into the Ninth Jewel Realm. Zhou deliberately stops short of forcing a Heavenly King breakthrough because the process has already injured his own qi. Yuehan therefore travels to the Elf Tribe as the only one of the five wives unable to fly independently and the only one without a Saint Nucleus Core, a concrete limit that the narrative preserves even while she can contribute energy to Zhou's Demon God Sword. (Chapters 769–775)

Within the household, her earlier competitive mask relaxes. Yuehan teases Zhou, laughs with the other women, openly kisses him, and imagines a peaceful realm where they might live together. When Zhou disappears with the Elven Queen, she rushes to him with the rest; afterward she jokes about his fidelity rather than returning to the hostile rivalry she once had with Tian'er. At the completion of Duan Tianlang's final scroll, Yuehan joins all four women in kneeling for Zhou's life to be protected. Her place is thus shown through shared fear, humor, cultivation, and collective action, not merely through the promised bloodline heir. (Chapters 774–799)

Public family, war, and the love she finally names

At the final Great Saint Lands Tournament, Yuehan stands openly behind Zhou with his other wives and the former Heavenly Demon Sect powerhouses. Wu Yunyue serves as deputy while Zhou leads the Peerless Sect, confirming that the ruined sect has been absorbed into the new Saint Land rather than simply restored under its former name. Yuehan's public thumbs-up after Zhou's opening maneuver and her fury when he is endangered show that she supports him as both sect leader and partner. Yet her cultivation remains less prominent than those of the other women; the corpus gives her no separate tournament duel or confirmed Heavenly King breakthrough. (Chapters 805–816)

When the Saint Lands conflict turns into the Netherworld crisis, Yuehan immediately volunteers to accompany Zhou toward the seal. He embraces and kisses her before secretly disabling the women so they cannot follow him into the abyss. On waking, Yuehan is forced to confront the grievance she has carried: she had entered his household unsure how much love she received, especially among several soulmates, and had sometimes understood the marriage as a duty owed to her sect's future. Believing he may die clarifies her own position. She realizes that she genuinely loves him and that this feeling is no longer a choice made for the Heavenly Demon Sect. (Chapters 824, 836, 845)

At the abyss, Yuehan waits with the other wives and shares their despair when Zhou is dragged into the Netherworld. The final family reconciliation explicitly includes her; the women are treated collectively as Zhou's wives, and Dongfang Hanyue is invited into that family rather than displaced from it. Zhou survives, while the surviving Heavenly Demon Sect's incorporation into the Peerless Sect remains intact. Yuehan's latest documented state is therefore alive, married, nine-Jeweled unless an unstated later breakthrough occurred, and emotionally certain of the love that the earlier political bargain and forced sacrifice could never establish on their own. (Chapter 848)

Appearance and personality

Yuehan is introduced in a black dress with long black hair, large clear eyes, and creamy white skin. Her delicate, innocent appearance resembles a harmless girl next door and contrasts sharply with the black mist, grey blade, and Evil energy through which she nearly destroys the Fei Li team. In Demonic Change her hair turns blue to the roots and lengthens, blue tattoos cover her skin, her limbs lengthen, and her body becomes taller and more streamlined rather than heavily muscled. (Chapters 69 and 101)

Her "Little Witch" persona mixes flirtation, mischief, and strategic performance. She can speak sweetly while pursuing a sect objective, hide lethal intent behind a smile, and needle Tian'er or Zhou with practiced ease. That playfulness is not simple falseness: it is also the personality that re-emerges once she feels secure in Zhou's household. Under pressure, however, Yuehan is disciplined enough to surrender her team's tournament opportunity, alter her judgment about the mother dragon, and serve as liaison after her sect's destruction. (Chapters 78–103, 268, and 774–791)

Her deepest vulnerability concerns choice. As Holy Girl, her marriage is initially defined by bloodline policy; at the volcano, her body is used in a rescue she cannot physically refuse; during separation, Zhou's acceptance of responsibility occurs without her. Her later development is therefore marked by increasingly personal decisions—embracing Zhou at reunion, choosing later intimacy, cooperating with his other wives, and finally naming her love as independent of the Heavenly Demon Sect's needs. (Chapters 78–79, 169–171, 268, 766–769, and 845)

Abilities and cultivation

Demonic bloodline and Heavenly Jewels

Yuehan possesses Demonic, Darkness, and Life Attributes, an unusually versatile combination expressed through an Alexandrite-type multi-Attribute Elemental Jewel. Her inherited Demonic bloodline is not first-generation, but its purity is described as close to second-generation. She has trained in the Demonic Manual arts since childhood and begins the tournament period as a six-Jeweled master. Much later she is explicitly seven-Jeweled before Zhou's Saint Energy advances her into the Ninth Jewel Realm; she has not reached Heavenly King when the group leaves for the Elf Tribe, and no later chapter states that she does. (Chapters 78–79, 101, 769–772)

The three Attributes interact rather than serving one narrow role. Darkness and Demonic power let her corrode foreign Heavenly Energy, spread cold Evil aura through weapons or defenses, and conceal herself in black mist. Life power sustains healing and recovery, while a Life-Demonic fusion attack channels opposed qualities through her blade. Her incomplete Demonic Attribute nevertheless counts as a Saint-Attribute foundation, which is why her body accepts Zhou's Nebula Saint Energy more readily than the Shangguan sisters do. That compatibility accelerates her cultivation but does not automatically provide a Saint Nucleus Core or Heavenly King flight. (Chapters 69, 101–103, 769–775)

Demonic Change and close combat

Yuehan's Demonic Change produces blue tattoos, elongated limbs, greater speed, physical refinement, and a blue hibiscus image behind her. Unlike Zhou's bulkier transformation, hers emphasizes sleek movement and a hybrid human-demonic beauty. It substantially increases the pressure and reach of her attacks, allowing her at six Jewels to contend with an exceptionally equipped peer. The state consumes considerable Heavenly Energy: after a full charged strike she can no longer maintain it, and superior Legendary Equipment still lets an equally cultivated opponent force her backward. (Chapters 101–102)

Her sole documented Consolidated Equipment in the early period is a short blade. This scarcity is deliberate and institutional: the Heavenly Demon Sect cannot readily obtain God Tier scrolls, and Yuehan refuses to fill Jewels with lesser equipment while waiting for suitable pieces. She uses the blade as a medium for rapid Evil-infused strikes, a Life-Demonic fusion blow, and a long-charged blue attack. The weapon and transformation make her a dangerous close-range combatant, but the charged technique can be interrupted and her limited equipment leaves her disadvantaged against complete or developing Legendary Sets. The supplied chapters do not establish a later replacement or expanded personal set. (Chapters 69, 95, 101)

Mist, Shadow Chase, and the Blue Rain Hibiscus

Yuehan can disperse into black mist, making ordinary physical attacks largely ineffective and allowing sudden movement or ambush. Spatially empowered attacks and sufficiently strong area effects can still threaten or displace the mist, so it is evasion rather than absolute intangibility. Shadow Chase gives a more structured form of pursuit: applied to an enemy, it keeps her positioned behind the target; applied to an ally such as Zhou, it lets her remain hidden directly behind that ally, follow every movement, receive a small attack boost, and launch surprise strikes through openings in the ally's defense. (Chapters 69, 100–102)

The Blue Rain Hibiscus Mutabilis is the recurring manifestation behind her control, attack, and healing techniques. It can cast a field of blue rays, slow or immobilize targets, gather power into her blade, and draw life force from nearby trees to heal a severely wounded dragon. These applications show that the flower is not a single fixed attack. Its control can be evaded by exceptional agility, its major offensive discharge needs charge time, and large-scale healing requires both substantial energy and available life force. The source does not define whether the hibiscus is one Stored Skill with variations or a family of related Skills, so its exact taxonomy remains uncertain. (Chapters 69, 101–103)

Saint Energy support and latest state

Zhou's Nebula Saint Energy transforms Yuehan's seven-Jeweled Heavenly Energy into a reddish-gold, denser form and rapidly raises her to nine Jewels. During the Elf Tribe crisis she can channel that energy with the four other wives to help Zhou sustain the projected Demon God Sword, demonstrating compatibility with a formation centered on his Saint Energy. She remains the weak link in mobility and core formation, however: Zhou must carry her in flight, and she alone has not solidified a Saint Nucleus Core. (Chapters 769–775)

The later Great Saint Lands war establishes her presence and emotional resolve but gives no independent combat demonstration sufficient to revise those limits. She is neither stated to regress nor confirmed to advance beyond the Ninth Jewel Realm. Her most defensible latest cultivation state is therefore nine Jewels, with Demonic, Darkness, and Life Attributes enhanced by exposure to Nebula Saint Energy, but without a source-confirmed Heavenly King breakthrough. (Chapters 805–848)

Relationships

  • Zhou Weiqing: Yuehan first courts Zhou to obtain his first-generation Demonic bloodline and future leadership for her sect. Mutual combat and his defense of the mother dragon awaken personal interest, but Long Shiya's coerced sacrifice creates an intimate bond without consent or immediate partnership. Years later, apology, reunion, chosen intimacy, shared family life, and the Netherworld crisis let her identify love distinct from institutional duty. (Chapters 78–103, 169–171, 267–268, 766–769, 824–848)
  • Wu Yunyue: Her father is Heavenly Demon Sect Master and the architect of the original plan to recruit Zhou as Yuehan's husband. After the sect's destruction, he leaves her as liaison, asks Zhou to care for her, and accepts a future in which their descendants and survivors continue through the Peerless Sect. (Chapters 78–79, 267–268, 805–848)
  • Long Shiya: Long Shiya saves Zhou by abducting and immobilizing Yuehan for the bloodline ritual. He later insists that Zhou take responsibility. His intervention preserves Zhou's life but violates Yuehan's agency and shapes years of uncertainty in her relationship. (Chapters 169–171, 186–187)
  • Tian'er: Yuehan and Tian'er begin as rival Holy Girls whose hostility predates Zhou. Their competition continues in the Lustre Spatial Realm, but later household life turns rivalry into teasing cooperation; Tian'er explains Yuehan's Saint Energy advancement and includes her among Zhou's wives. (Chapters 78–103, 769–775, 824–848)
  • Shangguan Bing'er, Shangguan Fei'er, and Shangguan Xue'er: The sisters initially know Yuehan as an opponent or unsettling claimant. They demand the truth about her entry into Zhou's life, then actively include her in the household. Their shared cultivation, Elf Tribe journey, petitions for Zhou's safety, and vigil at the abyss establish a collective family bond. (Chapters 69, 100–103, 766–799, 824–848)
  • Dongfang Hanyue: Hanyue's sudden arrival with Zhou's son initially provokes tension among the existing wives, including Yuehan. During the Netherworld crisis, shared fear breaks down that division, and the family accepts Hanyue rather than requiring one woman to displace another. (Chapters 824–848)

Items

  • Demonic Manual: A Heavenly Demon Sect cultivation text Yuehan lends to Zhou. It gives him a deeper framework for the Demonic Attribute and Devour and marks their first durable exchange of trust, though it remains sect property rather than her personal weapon. (Chapters 78–88)
  • Consolidated short blade: Yuehan's only explicitly documented early Consolidated Equipment. It conducts Evil energy and Life-Demonic fusion attacks but leaves her under-equipped against rivals with multiple God Tier pieces. (Chapters 69, 101–103)
