Imperial Lord Starquix

Imperial Lord Starquix is one of the three rulers who direct the Demon Realm's long invasion of Archean Eon Realm. Less physically powerful than Emperor Roc, he contributes specialized expertise in arrays, karma, and time, personally sends demon monarchs through early World Entrances, and later performs the Nine-Day Prayer against Meng Chuan. He shares responsibility for the leadership's collective strategy with Roc and Lady Blackmoon, but his own distinctive actions are the curse, array redesigns, temporal support, and intelligence judgments that make those larger campaigns possible. Biography

The widening demon war

Starquix first appears commanding prepared demon monarchs through a World Entrance, then organizes the larger assault with Blackmoon. He supplies Demon Sage Nine Abyss with Blood Fiend Armor, keeps the Wide Imperial Pass operation secret even from most demons, and orders the army across only after Nine Abyss kills the defender. In later Ice Palace councils, he proposes intermittent attacks that force ancient Godfiends to keep defending cities. He also refuses to let surviving demon monarchs return once Meng Chuan begins slaughtering them, because their testimony would make later armies resist mobilization. These are Starquix's own command decisions within a strategy jointly approved by all three Imperial Lords. (Chapters 229–298, 364–375)

When Nine Abyss and Demon Sage Thousand Cricket identify Meng Chuan, Starquix verifies their evidence before accepting the personal cost of a karmic curse. For nine days he writes blood incantations on a black disc and spends a century of lifespan strengthening the connection across the barrier between worlds. The resulting attack injures Meng Chuan's body and Essence Soul but fails against his unusual defenses. Starquix is visibly weakened afterward, and the failure forces the leadership to expose Nine Abyss and the Eye of the Dark Realm in a second assassination attempt rather than leaving their irreplaceable human-world commander concealed. War’s end and outer-realm expansion

Starquix returns to operational planning as the war shifts into the World Gap. He chooses specialists to counter particular human Godfiends, evaluates Essence Soul attack ranges, and modifies the Nine Dragon Realm-Sealing Array so that a large group of fifth Firmament demon monarchs can suppress the void without the original demon sage operators. He later accelerates Roc's travel when a new super-large entrance opens and helps prepare multiple connection-point operations. Although he participates in these plans, the individual deployments and treasures remain divided among the leadership: Roc supplies speed and several negotiated assets, Blackmoon contributes strategic judgments, and Starquix supplies array design, target analysis, and temporal support. Repeated defeat changes his confidence but not his allegiance to the invasion. Starquix supports the final five-pronged entry attempt and then watches Meng Chuan's avatars capture every force before they can disperse. Years later, he stands with the other Imperial Lords while a specially cultivated demon-sage team is destroyed at the demon-sage passageway. After Meng Chuan reaches the Fifth Tribulation realm, he captures Starquix's outer-realm body during a ruin expedition and uses it to send illusions and saber attacks through karma. Starquix begs for survival, but both his homeworld body and every remaining avatar are annihilated, ending his cultivation before any Tribulation-realm breakthrough. (Chapters 514–560, 623)

Appearance and personality

Starquix is a black-haired man with a single horn. He is usually seen in the Ice Palace with the other Imperial Lords or as an illusory figure projected into distant demon chambers and pools. His appearance changes little across the supplied chapters, although his aura becomes weak and unstable after the Nine-Day Prayer consumes his lifespan. The corpus gives no described true-species transformation, armor, or distinctive personal weapon beyond the ritual disc used for his curse. (Chapters 229, 364, 367, 397–406)

He is calculating, patient, and willing to spend subordinate lives far more readily than his own. Starquix demands complete certainty before cursing Meng Chuan, negotiates promises from Roc and Blackmoon before accepting the lifespan cost, and later chooses teams by matching defenses to known human techniques. His caution does not imply mercy: suppressing reports from retreating demon monarchs preserves the leadership's ability to send replacements into lethal conditions. At the end, that controlled demeanor collapses into fear and pleading when Meng Chuan's strength leaves no strategic escape. (Chapters 364–375, 397–398, 442–465, 560)

Abilities and cultivation

Imperial Lord cultivation and true bodies

Starquix is a long-established Demon Realm Imperial Lord at the Heaven Earth realm, but he never reaches the Tribulation realm. Like other Imperial Lords, he maintains a body protected in his homeworld and an outer-realm true body that can explore ruins and opportunities; he also manifests remote projections and Essence Soul avatars for communication and travel. His homeworld protection prevents ordinary direct invasion, yet it cannot fully isolate karma. Meng Chuan captures the outer body as a complete medium, then projects illusions and saber attacks along the connection to destroy every body and avatar. (Chapters 229, 367, 491, 560)

The corpus does not present a named body formulation or a decisive head-on battle for Starquix. His combat standing is that of an ordinary Imperial Lord, below Roc's Third Tribulation strength and unable to resist Meng Chuan at the Fifth Tribulation realm. His latest confirmed state before death remains Imperial Lord level: he has not perfected a Tribulation formulation, and Roc must physically shield him and Blackmoon from Meng Chuan's strike through the demon-sage passageway. Tactical specialization expands his usefulness but never substitutes for higher raw cultivation. (Chapters 456, 535, 555–560)

Nine-Day Prayer and karmic perception

The Nine-Day Prayer targets a named person through karma. Starquix inscribes the target's world, title, and name in blood on a black disc, then writes a new blood incantation every two hours for nine days. The repeated ritual sharpens an initially weak image until the final spoken curse crosses world boundaries and attacks body and Essence Soul from within. With no blood or hair medium, he spends a century of lifespan to supply enough power; Roc and Blackmoon promise compensation before he accepts that cost. (Chapters 364, 397–398)

World suppression, distance, the absence of a physical medium, and the target's own defenses all weaken the result. Starquix's curse seriously wounds Meng Chuan but cannot disintegrate his stable Essence Soul or regenerative Blood Droplet body, and doubling the lifespan payment would increase the attack by only a limited fraction rather than transform it qualitatively. Starquix can also read karmic connections well enough to confirm that Meng Chuan has another true body, but cannot calculate the exact location after an exile treasure sends that body far away. His karmic skill is powerful, expensive, and bounded rather than omniscient. (Chapters 398–399, 491)

Array expertise

Starquix is the trio's leading array specialist. He studies enemy ranges and counters before selecting formations, and he redesigns the Nine Dragon Realm-Sealing Array from a formation normally operated by nine demon sages into one that ninety-nine fifth Firmament demon monarchs can establish. Its purpose is to seal the surrounding void so Meng Chuan cannot hide in deeper layers while the army maps connection points. He also helps assess the Black River Array, the Three Terminal Formation, and fixed defenses, though the corpus does not credit him as the sole creator or owner of all of them. The adaptations depend on prepared personnel, formation components, and coordinated positioning. They cannot follow every change in a mobile battle without their operators, and Meng Chuan eventually kills array teams by entering a deeper void or attacking with strength beyond the plan's assumptions. Starquix's designs reduce specific risks—void infiltration and short-range Magic Awl attacks—but they do not guarantee success against unknown progression. His latest campaigns fail because their intelligence describes an earlier Meng Chuan, not because the arrays cease to function as designed. (Chapters 442–465, 514–535)

Time control and strategic support

Starquix can alter local time flow. While Roc carries him, Blackmoon, and Poison Dragon across the Demon Realm, Starquix makes time pass eight times faster within the moving region, allowing the group to appear to outsiders as if it travels at more than fifty thousand kilometers per second. Affecting three Imperial Lords limits how strongly he can accelerate the area, establishing both mechanism and cost: the field acts on a bounded group, and powerful occupants make larger changes difficult. The corpus does not show him freezing an equal opponent in direct combat. (Chapter 476)

His broader support ability is analytical. Starquix compares human techniques, chooses demon bodies resistant to Essence Soul attacks, identifies King Thousand Wood as a Magic Awl threat, and recognizes that demon sages cannot be coerced indefinitely without fleeing the Demon Realm. This is informed command rather than supernatural prediction. Plans fail when intelligence is incomplete, subordinates die, or Meng Chuan grows faster than projected. At death, Starquix retains these specialties but has made no demonstrated advance beyond his established Imperial Lord cultivation. (Chapters 442–465, 491, 514–560)

Relationships

• Emperor Roc: Starquix's fellow ruler and the trio's strongest combatant. Roc supplies speed and protection while Starquix contributes time acceleration, curses, and array design. Their shared goal is conquest, but Roc becomes the dominant figure as he reaches the Tribulation realm.
• Lady Blackmoon: Starquix's fellow Imperial Lord and frequent planning partner. She guards him during the Nine-Day Prayer, helps negotiate its cost, and is captured and executed alongside him.
• Meng Chuan: The human reconnaissance Godfiend whom Starquix curses and repeatedly targets through invasion plans. Meng Chuan survives, outgrows the Demon Realm leadership, captures Starquix's outer body, and kills all of his manifestations through karma.
• Demon Sage Nine Abyss: Starquix's principal human-world commander and recipient of the Blood Fiend Armor. Starquix relies on Nine Abyss's intelligence and field strength, then condemns him as useless after the assassination fails.
• Demon Sage Thousand Cricket: The specialist whose karmic blood network identifies Meng Chuan. Starquix projects his will into Thousand Cricket's cave abode and demands complete confidence before paying for the curse.
• Holy Lady Strings: A leading fifth Firmament subordinate whose defenses and perception Starquix uses when planning counters to human Godfiends. He later entrusts her with forces in the World Gap.

No distinct qualifying personal inventory is assigned to Imperial Lord Starquix in the item manifest. The curse disc and Ice Palace arrays are ritual or command apparatus, while the Blood Fiend Armor is transferred to Nine Abyss rather than retained as Starquix's personal equipment.
