Donna Longbern

Donna Longbern, known as the Calamity Witch, is an S-rank enchantress, veteran hero, and Lock Academy instructor. Her rare four-star art lets her influence minds through her eyes and voice, making her a battlefield controller as well as a teacher of exceptionally precise psyon use. Donna's story follows her growing investment in a class she first evaluates by recorded rank, her recognition of Ren Dover's concealed ability, and her transition from academy protector to an Alliance combatant in the wars against the Monolith and the demons.

Biography

First-year instruction and Hollberg

Donna introduces herself as the personal instructor of Lock's elite first-year class while releasing enough pressure to test the room. Although she immediately notices the highest-ranked students, Ren's deliberate performance convinces her that he is ordinary. Her early teaching combines strict standards with controlled risk: she assigns individual field objectives tailored to reported ability and warns the class that instructors will not rescue students who become careless. The severe presentation is designed to make talented teenagers treat danger as real, not to conceal indifference toward them. (Chapters 7–58)

That protectiveness becomes overt during the Hollberg attack. Donna and Connor Norvak break through the assassins obstructing the faculty and eliminate most of those threatening the students. When Union representative George dismisses her right to question his interest in Kevin, she answers that Kevin is her student and releases her S-rank pressure, only yielding when Monica Jeffrey suppresses both of them. During the Third Cataclysm, Donna fights beside Monica, Douglas, and Amanda against a demon prince. Donna and the other veteran instructors then respond immediately when Ren directs them toward unstable spatial distortions. Appearance and personality

Donna is introduced at twenty-eight with long black hair that falls down her back, striking violet or amethyst eyes, and an exceptionally alluring figure.
