Silky Snow

Silky Snow is an Elf Priest of Lost Paradise whose Holy Shield, Regeneration, and healing support help Zhang Yang's formative party secure the Hardcore first clear of Bangar Crypt. (Chapters 19–30)

Biography

Rebirth and White Jade City

Silky Snow joins the early Bangar Crypt party as Lost Paradise's Level 10 Priest. During the Difficult-mode run, Zhang assigns her to cast Holy Shield on every member below 300 HP before Venom Spit, and she follows the timing while sharing recovery duties with Ocean Despair. When Defiant Monk survives a 300-damage hit with only 40 HP, their combined heals restore the party's momentum; when there is room to attack, Silky Snow also casts Holy Ray. Her presence gives the mixed group both a second healer and a rare protective skill that Lost Paradise had obtained from a monster-dropped book. (Chapters 19–22)

The Hardcore run asks more of her timing and resources. Silky Snow reserves Holy Shield until Zhang calls for it, instantly absorbing 80 damage from Dadarerda's Flamethrower and leaving him alive at 69 HP. She reports when her MP falls to half and continues healing through the dungeon's sustained pressure. Against the controlled Defiant Monk, her Regeneration is so important that the party's health drops sharply after she dies and Ocean Despair must spam Holy Light with an already limited MP pool. These scenes establish her as reliable within instructions while showing that the party cannot treat healing mana or healer survival as unlimited. (Chapters 23, 26, and 29)

Silky Snow also acts for the guild outside direct healing. Crimson Fire encourages her to help persuade Zhang to join Lost Paradise, and she engages him without abandoning her guild allegiance. When Resurrection drops, she offers Ocean Despair 100 gold to let Lost Paradise have the skill, then rolls when he refuses; her 86 loses to his 91, and he consumes the book before she can reopen negotiations. She continues in Lost Paradise's elite dungeon formation during later paid runs. By Chapter 42, Zhang considers her a good healer but rules her out for his new party precisely because she is committed to Lost Paradise and would not leave it for him. (Chapters 20, 25, 30, 32–35, and 42)

Appearance and personality

Silky Snow's avatar is a female Elf with a slender figure, a slim waist, long legs, an almond-shaped face, and a mature appearance. She wears a milky-white long dress and a golden floral headpiece; the narration also notes her small hands when she casts Holy Shield. She is cooperative and quick to follow combat calls, but not passive: she diverts Fatty Han's attempted embrace toward Phantom Day and firmly bargains for Resurrection on her guild's behalf. Her defining loyalty is explicit when Zhang concludes that even though she is good enough for consideration, she would not leave Lost Paradise. (Chapters 20, 23, 26, 30, and 42)

Abilities and gameplay

Silky Snow is a Priest built for early dungeon protection and recovery. Her demonstrated kit contains an absorb shield, direct or unspecified healing, a heal-over-time effect, and one offensive light spell. She has no documented inheritance, advanced class progression, or later statistics in the supplied corpus, so her established ceiling is the formative White Jade City dungeon tier. (Chapters 20–30 and 42)

Holy Shield

Holy Shield is a Priest-exclusive skill learned from a monster-dropped book rather than automatically from the trainer. At its demonstrated level it casts instantly, lasts up to thirty seconds, and absorbs 80 damage behind a translucent barrier. Zhang uses it as a precise threshold tool: Silky Snow pre-shields party members whose HP is below Venom Spit's 300 damage, and later waits for the Flamethrower cast so the shield's absorb combines with Zhang's 20% passive reduction. That sequence reduces 500 base damage to 320 and keeps him alive. (Chapters 20 and 26)

The shield's fixed absorb is useful but limited. It prevents small remaining HP gaps from becoming deaths and can be applied without cast delay, yet it does not make the target invulnerable or replace ordinary healing. Its timing matters because casting it too early risks wasting the thirty-second duration, while repeated heavy damage exceeds the 80-point absorb. (Chapters 20 and 26)

Healing, regeneration, and offense

Silky Snow shares direct healing duty with Ocean Despair and can rapidly help restore a critically injured tank. Regeneration provides continuing recovery; when she dies during the Defiant Monk encounter, its absence causes the whole party's HP to decline and forces Ocean Despair to spend MP rapidly on Holy Light. Her own mana is also finite: she reports being at half MP during Hardcore progression, and the group plans potion timing around both healers' reserves. (Chapters 21, 23, 26, and 29)

Holy Ray lets her deal light damage during safe intervals, but offense remains secondary to shields and healing. She attempts to acquire Resurrection, which would revive dead party members inside the dungeon and reduce recovery time, but loses the roll; Ocean Despair learns it instead. The episode shows Silky Snow pursuing broader utility without falsely establishing the skill as part of her own kit. (Chapters 22 and 30)

Relationships

  • Crimson Fire: Her guild master and first-party leader. Silky Snow follows his recruitment and loot-negotiation requests while supplying the healing that makes Lost Paradise's first-clear advertisement possible. (Chapters 20, 25–26, and 30)
  • Ocean Despair: Her co-healer in Bangar Crypt. Their combined heals rescue critically injured players, but they compete for Resurrection and Ocean wins the roll before learning it immediately. (Chapters 21, 29–30)
  • Zhang Yang: Her dungeon leader and an attempted Lost Paradise recruit. She executes his shield timing accurately; he later judges her a good healer but recognizes that her guild loyalty makes her unavailable for his own permanent party. (Chapters 20, 26, and 42)
  • Fatty Han: A flirtatious teammate whose attempted embrace she evades by pushing Phantom Day into his arms instead. The exchange shows that her cooperation in the party does not imply accepting his advances. (Chapters 20 and 23)
  • Phantom Day: A Lost Paradise teammate used as the target of several party jokes and flirtatious exchanges. Both continue in the guild's early elite dungeon group. (Chapters 20, 23, 26, and 35)
  • Defiant Monk: A tank whom she helps save at 40 HP and later fights while he is under enemy control; her death in that encounter sharply reduces the party's healing stability. (Chapters 21 and 29)

Items

  • Holy Shield skill book: The source from which Silky Snow learned her rare Priest protection skill before meeting Zhang. The book itself is already consumed, and its name or acquisition scene is not provided. (Chapter 20)
  • Resurrection skill book: A Priest-or-Sacred-Knight drop that Silky Snow tries to buy from Ocean Despair and then rolls for. She loses 86 to 91, so the book enters Ocean's inventory and is consumed by him rather than becoming her item or skill. (Chapter 30)
  • Personal equipment: Apart from her milky-white dress and golden floral headpiece as avatar clothing, the corpus does not name any weapon, armor piece, accessory, or mount personally owned by Silky Snow. (Chapter 20)
