Fatty Han

Fatty Han, whose real name is Han Guang and whose principal in-game name is Slim and Handsome, is Zhang Yang's childhood friend, a founding member of Lone Desert Smoke, a Hunter, and a recurring guild and real-world confidant. His late-game strength combines the B-class Vampire Inheritance with a Blazing Fire Phoenix pet. (Chapters 3, 522, and 620–621)

Biography

Lone Desert Smoke and Soaring Swords

Han Guang and Zhang Yang grow up together from junior high school onward, bonding through street fights and becoming what Zhang calls soul brothers. In Zhang's previous life, Han dies in a street brawl about a year after the story's opening; after rebirth, Zhang resolves to keep him from that fate. Han arrives after losing his job for beating a manager who was molesting a female employee, then persuades Zhang to play God's Miracle as a way for them to earn money. He initially wants to make an Elf Thief, but accepts Zhang's recommendation that a Hunter's pet, ranged attacks, and Fake Death will better suit him. (Chapter 3)

Using the deliberately ironic name Slim and Handsome, Han reaches Level 10 after settling for the Average version of his class trial and receives Precise Shot. His large Elf avatar and black-wolf pet join Zhang's Bangar Crypt party, where his banter and aggressive flirting immediately become part of the group's comic rhythm. The humor does not erase his physical courage: like Zhang, he has extensive experience in real fights, and the dangerous air he displays while confronting Flame Emperor shows that his joviality can turn intimidating when a friend is threatened. (Chapters 11, 19–20, and 28)

Fatty Han becomes one of the guild's foundational damage dealers, repeatedly leading dungeon groups and helping the early core dominate level rankings and first clears. He readily gives Hundred Shots better Hunter equipment because he understands Zhang's recruitment plans, and later yields the PvP-oriented Breaking Shot book for the same reason. His raid output is strong, but arena training exposes a persistent weakness: he attacks like a stationary turret, fails to exploit Concussion Shot's slow to preserve range, and cannot then qualify for Zhang's serious PvP lineup on skill alone. (Chapters 44, 60, 82, 86, and 147)

The game's success changes Han's real life as well as his role in the guild. He protects Zhang's identity at a class reunion even while boasting about the scale of their shared success, showing discretion beneath the performance. When Lone Desert Smoke reaches its membership cap and forms sub-guilds, Han volunteers to move, asks to be Guildmaster, and is assigned with Endless Starlight to support dungeon progress. He consequently enters the Soaring Swords period as both a sponsored Pride and Honor competitor and an administrator responsible for a large body of members. (Chapters 200, 205, 255, 266, 320, and 329)

Regional War and World Competition

Fatty Han remains the nominal leader of Lone Desert Smoke's first sub-guild during large guild conflicts, but battlefield planning is not solely his achievement: Mountain Mover is transferred into the sub-guild specifically to direct its forces while Han provides authority, continuity, and frontline participation. As the regional game opens, Han continues leading expedition groups and becomes one of the guild's reliable voices during territorial battles. This division between formal leadership and tactical command lets the guild use his loyalty and visibility without pretending that his PvP judgment has become equal to its best strategists. (Chapters 357, 365, 479, and 518)

On entering the Chaos Realm, Han candidly judges that a B-class Inheritance is sufficient for his skill level and asks Zhang for the Vampire fragment rather than holding out for a rarer class. Zhang helps him assemble the remaining five fragments and defeat Vampire Count Ferra; after the linking quests, Han obtains a permanent damage increase, a defensive recovery skill, Vampire Transformation, and Bat Form. He immediately wastes his first three-day transformation cooldown showing off in the arena, but the same kit then supplies the missing damage and survivability that pushes Lone Desert Smoke's Dragon Throat expedition beyond its thirteenth Hard Mode boss. By this point he has a wife at home, reports his outings to her, and says that accompanying her and trying to start a family limit the time he can devote to grinding. (Chapters 515–522 and 603)

The Vampire kit also makes Han essential to acquiring his other defining advantage. During a lethal fire-cave run with Zhang, he uses Bat Form to cross burning terrain and finds two Blazing Fire Phoenix eggs, eliminating the choice between taking the sole pet and yielding it to his friend. As a Beastmaster, Han can apply class bonuses to the Phoenix while still using a separate flying mount; its independent transformation and area attacks make it a major source of sustained and mass-combat damage. He continues giving suitable Hunter gear to Hundred Shots even after the Phoenix raises his own damage above Hundred's. (Chapters 620–621, 651, 654, and 681)

In regional wars and endgame raids, Han alternates his two-hour Vampire Transformation with the Phoenix's transformation, allowing more than three hours of transformation-grade output when the party needs endurance. The combination excels against dense groups, and the Phoenix can keep him fighting or moving through large battles, but it never fixes his leather-armored defense or uneven PvP control; against Hell Rage, for example, he can survive only about five minutes and cannot solo the boss. After Silky Soft wins its fourth world championship, Han is among the household members moved to Luxembourg for safety. Years later, the Dubai household plans to contact “Uncle Fatty” and notify him that they are returning to Zhou Su City; the scene does not place him in Dubai or describe him as being called home himself. (Chapters 689, 718, 729, 849, and 854–856)

Appearance and personality

Han Guang is a very large, heavyset man who sweats easily and can open a bottle with his teeth; his avatar is likewise a jumbo-sized Elf with a bucket-like waist, making the name Slim and Handsome an intentional joke. Vampire Transformation turns the avatar corpse-pale, lengthens his fangs, and produces dull, dark, spiky bat wings, although those wings do not grant sustained flight. He is loud, lewd, boastful, and prone to wasting resources for spectacle, but he is also loyal, physically brave, protective of vulnerable people, generous with teammates, and unusually honest about his own competitive ceiling. Those qualities distinguish him from the quieter, stern Hundred Shots despite their shared class and frequent partnership. (Chapters 3, 20, 28, 44, 147, 205, 515, 522, 620, and 654)

Abilities and gameplay

Fatty Han is a ranged Hunter with the Beastmaster specialization. His build develops in three layers: a normal Hunter kit centered on pet-supported damage, the B-class Vampire Inheritance, and an evolving Phoenix pet whose transformation can be scheduled separately from his own. He is an excellent raid and area-damage contributor, but his movement, spacing, and personal defense remain material limits. (Chapters 82, 522, 620–621, and 729)

Hunter and Beastmaster kit

Zhang steers Han toward Hunter because a pet can fight in front while he attacks from safety, and because Fake Death can clear monster aggression when an encounter turns against him. Han obtains Precise Shot from his Level 10 class trial and later uses ranged staples such as Concussion Shot; however, the latter's slow helps only if he moves away, which he initially fails to do in PvP training. In raids he performs far better, serving as a fixed source of ranged damage, handling marked targets, and using Fake Death to escape inheritance-quest enemies he cannot defeat alone. (Chapters 3, 11, 82, 86, and 516)

Fatty Han receives Companion Aura from the profession-specific reward for the main quest completed with the early core party. At its published baseline, it raises the attack of party members' pets by 3% within a thirty-meter radius, persists until the caster dies or the effect is removed, and occupies the user's single active-aura slot. Logging out switches it off, so it must be reactivated after login; because Hundred Shots receives the identical aura, their effects do not stack and only one contributes in a shared party. The supplied corpus does not document Fatty Han's later numerical aura progression. Beastmaster bonuses become especially important once he obtains the Phoenix, which he can use as a battle pet while retaining a different creature as his mount. (Chapters 158, 164, 621, and 651)

Vampire Inheritance

Fatty Han acquires the B-class Vampire Inheritance by assembling six fragments, completing a linking quest, and defeating the Level 150 Ethereal boss Vampire Count Ferra with his party's help. Bloodthirst permanently increases his damage dealt by 40%. Immortal Constitution adds 5% passive damage immunity and restores 1% HP every ten seconds for ten minutes, but has a sixty-minute cooldown. These skills raise his ordinary damage and endurance even when his transformation is unavailable. (Chapters 515–522)

Vampire Transformation multiplies initial maximum HP by twenty, initial Defense and Attack by three, and provides a 70% chance to ignore magic damage. It lasts two hours, has a seventy-two-hour cooldown, and generates one Vampire Energy Point every ten seconds for special skills. The transformation produces exceptional ranged damage and enough HP to serve as an emergency boss target, but tripling a Hunter's low leather-armor Defense does not make him a true tank; he lacks a blocking skill and remains dependent on healers when forced to absorb heavy physical attacks. (Chapters 522 and 585)

Bat Form separates him into ten weak flying bats that attach to targets, drain blood, and restore 1% HP per second before reintegration grants additional recovery. It requires three Vampire Energy Points to start, with each additional point extending it by one second; ten points are sufficient for a full recovery in the demonstrated calculation. The skill has a thirty-minute cooldown and can briefly supply flight, attachment-based movement, or environmental protection, but it ends when its energy expires or all bats are killed. Single-target bosses may need twenty seconds to swat all ten, allowing a full heal, whereas an area pulse can destroy every bat after two seconds and limit recovery to 20%. (Chapters 522, 585, 588, 620, and 706)

Han later uses Bloody Feast to attack and draw a large group of necromancers, demonstrating an area or mass-engagement application. The supplied corpus does not state its numerical effect or full activation rules, so its exact mechanism is uncertain. His reckless use of it also exposes the Vampire build's limit: even transformed HP is not a substitute for controlled pulls and proper tanking. (Chapter 647)

Blazing Fire Phoenix

Han binds one of the two Blazing Fire Phoenix eggs found in the fire cave. It begins at Level 0 as Black-Steel, gains a tier through Evolve at level thresholds, and reaches Mythical at Level 124 during the initial training sequence. At Level 200 it is explicitly identified as Ascended tier. The supplied corpus does not document Fatty Han's Phoenix reaching Celestial tier: the Level 230 Celestial upgrade in Chapter 849 belongs to Zhang Yang's separate Phoenix. The Phoenix gains abilities through evolution and cannot learn additional skills from skill books. (Chapters 620–621, 794, and 849)

Fire Build makes the Phoenix immune to Fire attacks and converts the amount of an incoming Fire attack into equal HP recovery, but causes it to receive 50% more Frost damage. Reborn from the Ashes revives it at full HP after death and resets all skills whose cooldown is shorter than twenty-four hours; Reborn itself has a twenty-four-hour cooldown. These passives make Fire encounters unusually favorable and provide one full recovery cycle, while Frost attacks and a second death inside the daily cooldown remain direct counters. (Chapter 620)

Shared Life combines the owner's and pet's HP into one pool. Phoenix Transformation raises the pet's HP by 2,000% and its Attack and Defense by 300%, lasts two hours, and has a seventy-two-hour cooldown. The Phoenix transformation is independent of Han's Vampire Transformation, so the two can be staggered for a prolonged sequence of enhanced output or activated together for a stronger but shorter peak. Shared Life also lets the transformed pet's health contribute directly to Han's combined survivability. (Chapters 620–621, 689, and 718)

Forbidden Firefall is available only during Phoenix Transformation. It deals the Phoenix's current melee Fire attack as damage every second for thirty seconds to all targets in a 100-by-100-meter area and has a thirty-minute cooldown. The large area and repeated ticks make it a mass-combat weapon comparable to a small Forbidden Scroll, while the transformation requirement and its own cooldown prevent normal-form or continuous use. The Phoenix's ordinary fire breath is also line-based area damage with a two-second attack interval and reaches about ten meters by Level 100. (Chapters 620–621 and 624)

The Phoenix's specialty is multi-target damage. It and Hundred Shots's Red Dragon can erase dense formations or accelerate grinding, but their advantage is less dramatic against isolated ordinary enemies. The pet's offense also does not protect Han himself from a focused opponent: enemies who bypass the Phoenix and reach the Hunter can exploit his low Defense and weaker movement, a problem shown both in his early arena training and his failed attempt to endure Hell Rage alone. (Chapters 82, 729, and 849)

Relationships

  • Zhang Yang: Han's childhood friend and soul brother. Han draws him into God's Miracle after rebirth, while Zhang chooses a safer class for him, prevents the foretold street-fight death, helps him obtain the Vampire Inheritance, and shares the Phoenix discovery with him. (Chapters 3, 515–522, and 620–621)
  • Hundred Shots: His fellow Beastmaster, recurring raid partner, and frequent counterpart. Han repeatedly yields Hunter equipment and PvP skill books to Hundred, while their overlapping Companion Auras and later legendary pets create complementary rather than identical builds. (Chapters 44, 147, 164, 522, 654, and 766)
  • Han Ying Xue: A core teammate and healer whose support becomes vital whenever Han's transformed HP is exposed to boss attacks that his low Defense cannot mitigate. She also participates in the banter that surrounds his transformation and Phoenix. (Chapters 585, 620–621, and 718)
  • Wei Yan Er: A founding teammate who calls him Pervy Fatty or Uncle Fatty and routinely punctures his boasting. Despite their quarrels, they fight together throughout the guild's raids, regional wars, and sponsored competitions. (Chapters 60, 255, 585, 697, and 856)
  • Endless Starlight: His fellow sub-guild officer and comic partner. They trade jokes, test transformations together, and form part of the same raid leadership structure, although Starlight is a true defensive specialist where Han is an emergency substitute at best. (Chapters 147, 320, 522, and 585)
  • Mountain Mover: The commander transferred to the first sub-guild while Han remains its Guildmaster. Their arrangement separates Han's formal leadership and morale role from Mountain Mover's stronger strategic direction. (Chapters 320 and 365)

Items

  • Blazing Fire Phoenix: A living Hunter pet hatched from one of two eggs found in a lethal fire cave. It evolves from Black-Steel through Mythical during its initial growth and is explicitly Ascended at Level 200; its fire conversion, rebirth, Shared Life, area damage, and independent transformation become the central source of Han's late-game power. (Chapters 620–621 and 794)
  • Giant moth flying mount: A large moth Han captures while searching for his fourth Vampire Inheritance fragment, giving him independent air travel through the Chaos Realm. (Chapters 515–516)
  • Vampire Inheritance fragments: Six B-class fragments assembled into the linking quest that ultimately grants Han the Vampire Inheritance; they are consumed in the acquisition process rather than retained as equipment. (Chapters 515–522)
  • Hunter equipment: Han receives bows, leather armor, and accessories throughout the guild's raids but often waives upgrades that would more strongly benefit Hundred Shots. That generosity is illustrated by the early Level 20 Hunter gear, Breaking Shot book, and later Giant Dragon's Strike bow that he declines. (Chapters 44, 147, and 654)
