Phoenix Pet

The Phoenix Pet, formally a Blazing Fire Phoenix and nicknamed Little Fiery, is Zhang Yang's living flying battle companion. Hatched from a bound egg, it grows from a playful chick into an evolving high-tier mount whose shared health, fire absorption, rebirth, transformation, and area attacks make it one of his most important late-game partners. Biography

Regional War and World Competition

The Phoenix first enters Zhang Yang's plans as the reward tied to Fatty Han's Hunter hidden-class quest, which requires Level 120. When the quest party reaches the volcanic nesting site, it unexpectedly finds two Blazing Fire Phoenix eggs rather than one. Fatty Han claims and hatches one, while Zhang Yang binds the other with his own blood. The two birds are distinct individuals owned by different players; this article follows Zhang Yang's Phoenix, not every Blazing Fire Phoenix mentioned later in the corpus. (Chapters 529 and 620)

Zhang Yang's hatchling begins at Level 0 and Black-Steel quality with fifty health, an attack range of three to five per two seconds, and the Evolve skill. Its fluid deep-red feathers swirl like flame, part of the eggshell remains on its head, and it follows Zhang Yang while chirping and burning the grass because it has imprinted on him as its mother. Rapid evolution unlocks Green-Copper quality and Fire Build at Level 10, Gray-Silver quality and Reborn from Ashes at Level 20, and a Mythical form by Level 124. Felice recognizes tremendous latent power even while the bird is still small. (Chapter 620)

The mature Phoenix immediately changes Zhang Yang's mobility and battle scale. Its normal flame reaches multiple enemies, its wings support rapid long-distance flight, and Phoenix Transformation turns it into a vastly larger Royal Blood Phoenix. Zhang Yang names it Little Fiery while using that transformation against regional enemies; he can dismount to let Fire Build absorb Immolation, remount to share health, and trigger Forbidden Firefall to erase massed forces. Its abilities complement rather than duplicate his own inheritance transformation, because master and companion can transform separately according to the encounter. (Chapters 621 and 624–625)

Later progression preserves the Phoenix as an active partner while exposing situational limits. Enclosed areas and a stone bridge prevent normal flight or reduce it to a short glide, mounting replaces the bird's independent defenses with Zhang Yang's, and its fire attacks cannot defeat every boss's regeneration or immunity. Zhang Yang sometimes switches to Whitey to hide his identity or travel on the ground. Even so, the Phoenix evolves beyond its early Mythical stage, supplies strong area fire in raids and leveling, carries Zhang Yang at exceptional speed, and combines with Felice in repeated high-level battles. In the final championship, the Phoenix and Felice provide a body of firepower comparable to Zhang Yang's own contribution and help eliminate Captain America and God's Left Hand. Appearance and personality

The hatchling has large eyes, deep-red liquid-looking feathers, and a fragment of eggshell worn like a hat. As it levels, it grows into an enormous fiery bird with wings roughly ten meters across and a tail extending about thirty meters. Phoenix Transformation changes its crimson coloring toward violet and gold and magnifies it further; a later transformed description places the body around thirty meters tall and the complete silhouette near one hundred meters with the tail. Little Fiery behaves first as an imprinted young animal, following Zhang Yang, chirping for attention, and treating him as its mother. It later shows a more forceful temperament, responding angrily with flame when struck, but the corpus does not give it speech, an independent faction, or goals separate from its bonded companion role. Its eagerness and dramatic fire effects should not be confused with conscious control of Zhang Yang's strategy. (Chapters 620 and 650)

Abilities and gameplay

The Phoenix is an evolving battle companion whose stats, quality, and skill set expand through level thresholds rather than external pet skill books. It begins as a Hunter's Pet egg, but because Zhang Yang is not a Hunter, his individual initially resolves as a flying battle mount; its later battles still give it direct companion attacks and transformations. At Level 124 and Mythical quality, it has 267,720 health with Zhang Yang's aura, 5,200 defense, and 31,436–41,436 attack, while later evolutions increase its fire damage further. Evolution, flame attacks, and Shared Life

Evolve advances the Phoenix's quality at stated level thresholds and automatically reveals innate skills. It cannot learn additional pet skill books, so its progression is powerful but less customizable than a conventional trained pet. Even as a baby, its flamethrower can strike three targets and deals magic damage that ignores physical Defense; by Level 100 the normal flame reaches roughly ten meters in a line, and later forms expand their cone, range, and damage. Shared Life combines the Phoenix's health with Zhang Yang's while he rides it, giving the pair a much larger survival pool. (Chapters 620–621, 716, 718, 761, 807, and 829)

The attack remains subject to target mechanics. Fire or magic immunity can turn its hits into no damage, and some regenerating Holy bosses recover faster than the Phoenix and Felice can hurt them, creating an endless battle rather than a kill. Its normal area damage also makes it conspicuous enough to reveal Zhang Yang's identity in situations where he wants to travel anonymously. (Chapters 699, 770, and 804)

Fire Build and Reborn from Ashes

Fire Build makes the dismounted Phoenix immune to fire damage and converts incoming fire into healing for the same amount, but also causes it to receive fifty percent more frost damage. Mounted combat changes the calculation: attacks use Zhang Yang's defenses and special attributes, so the pair do not inherit the Phoenix's fire immunity merely because he is riding it. Zhang Yang demonstrates the interaction by dismounting to absorb Immolation and heal, then mounting again for Shared Life and movement. (Chapters 620 and 625)

Reborn from Ashes restores the Phoenix to full health and resets its skills when it dies, provided the rebirth has not triggered during the preceding twenty-four hours. This grants one powerful recovery window, not unlimited revival; the daily cooldown and the Phoenix's elemental weaknesses still matter in repeated or prolonged engagements. (Chapter 620)

Phoenix Transformation and Forbidden Firefall

Phoenix Transformation raises health by 2,000 percent and attack and defense by 300 percent for two hours, with a seventy-two-hour cooldown. At Level 124, the transformed Phoenix is recorded with 5,454,400 health, 15,600 defense, and 94,308–124,308 attack. Zhang Yang and the Phoenix can time their transformations independently, providing flexibility across multiple battles, but the long cooldown makes activation a strategic commitment rather than a routine travel stance. Forbidden Firefall is available only during Phoenix Transformation. For thirty seconds, it applies the Phoenix's current melee attack as fire damage every second across a one-hundred-by-one-hundred-meter area, then enters a thirty-minute cooldown. It destroys ordinary massed enemies in seconds and remains active after the first targets die, but it is still derived from the Phoenix's attack and can be constrained by immunity, terrain, or a surviving boss's defenses and recovery. It is an innate transformed skill, not a consumed Forbidden Scroll. (Chapters 620 and 625)

Flight and environmental limits

The adult Phoenix is an exceptionally fast flying mount suited to long-distance travel and aerial pursuit. Adaptability lets it shrink for smaller spaces, but does not guarantee flight everywhere: in a restricted interior and on a stone bridge it can only move or glide a few meters. Zhang Yang also chooses a ground mount when an entrance demands it. Flight is therefore a strong movement mode rather than immunity to dungeon geometry or access rules.
