Felice

Felice is Zhang Yang's first Battle Companion and the character whose hatching introduces Battle Companions to God's Miracle. Although a contract connects her to Zhang, she is a sentient, autonomous person rather than an item: she can speak, choose her actions, leave the companion interface without being summoned, disobey orders, and theoretically end the contract. Four seals initially suppress her power; breaking them develops her from a tiny spear-bearing girl into a multi-form combatant whose final Goddess of War Scion Form fights beside Zhang and the Phoenix Pet at world-championship level. Her missing memory and the headaches caused by trying to recover it remain unexplained rather than being established effects of those seals. (Chapters 462–464, 499–500, 661–670, 749–750, 837, and 850–856)

Biography

Inheritances and Territorial War

Zhang obtains a bound Mysterious Egg from a Mysterious Box and incubates it for roughly seventy-two hours. Hatching requires a blood sacrifice so severe that Han Ying Xue exhausts her mana twice while keeping Zhang alive. The shell finally reveals a thumb-sized, long-haired girl equipped with a spear and shield, carrying four visible seals but only fifty health and no usable skills at Level 0. She cannot speak, yet the loneliness and longing in her expression move Zhang to offer a finger for her to hold; her acceptance completes their bond and triggers the world announcement and patch that introduce the Battle Companion system. (Chapters 461–462)

Felice grows rapidly with experience. At Level 30 she has the proportions of a young teenager, calls Zhang “Big Brother,” and reveals both a humanoid spear style and a flying Dragonhawk form. She cannot remember who she is; attempts to search that missing past cause intense pain, so Zhang stops pressing her. In battle, however, she learns quickly. She switches between the humanoid form's greater defense and the Dragonhawk's ranged Fire damage, uses flight to escape ground-bound enemies, and becomes strong enough to outdamage established attackers. Her developing speech and tactical judgment make clear that leveling is maturing a person, not merely upgrading equipment. (Chapters 463–467 and 471)

The first serious fracture between contract and obedience occurs around the Black Dragon Anubask. Felice reacts emotionally to a projection of Lachesis and then recognizes Anubask with unexplained hatred. She refuses Zhang's command to return to the companion interface, attacks with story-level power, and uses Absolute Defense while devastating the dragon. A final cosmic roar defeats Anubask but leaves her unconscious and unavailable for seventy-two hours. Ares says the Goddess of War Lachesis had no daughter, although she did have a sister, the Goddess of Hope; consequently, the incident establishes a connection to divine history without resolving Felice's exact identity or making the frequently suggested daughter theory factual. (Chapters 498–500)

After recovering, Felice resumes life as Zhang's constant combat partner. Her specialized Primordial Dragon Lance and companion armor scale with her level and sealed potential, and she uses Dragonhawk area fire to clear summoned enemies, scout dangerous routes from the air, and pressure bosses alongside the core party. The arrangement has practical limits: Zhang's Sacrifice cannot target a Battle Companion, death costs Felice a level, consumables require her to leave combat, and elemental resistance can sharply reduce her Fire offense. Her ability to choose a different form partly answers those restrictions, while her emotional loyalty repeatedly makes her protect Zhang even when retreat would be mechanically safer. (Chapters 503, 507, 511, 520, 561, 573, and 584–595)

Demonic Invasions and the Final Championship

Felice's first seal breaks through an encounter she initiates herself. During the campaign around the Goddess of War statue, she emerges from the companion interface and enters the monument without waiting for a summon, reassuring Zhang that it will make her stronger. Zhang later activates the statue with his blood, and Felice emerges at Ethereal tier with a Spectral Tiger form. She immediately uses its berserk transformation to protect him from Liu Wei. The new Nature-damage form is tougher than Dragonhawk and covers enemies resistant to Fire, while its transformation shares a cooldown with Dragonhawk Berserk, forcing a deliberate choice between magical offense and sturdier melee pressure. (Chapters 661 and 669–670)

The second seal likewise answers a call that only Felice can sense. Near the Elven Tree of Life, she leaves the interface on her own, tells Zhang that something is calling her, and leads him toward the sacred site. She ultimately enters its Spring of Life and emerges at Holy tier with twelve-star growth and a Tree of Life form. This is a decisive expansion of her identity in combat: rather than only changing damage types or defenses, she can now supply group healing, emergency single-target recovery, and an Ancient Tree transformation. During the subsequent invasion battles, the form lets her replace or reinforce a dedicated healer before she returns to Tiger or Dragonhawk for offense. (Chapters 749–750, 753, and 756–757)

Her third seal is released by a black crystal dropped by Kenzack and handed to her by Wei Yan Er. Felice encloses herself in an egg for three days, then returns as an Ascended-tier, thirteen-star companion. The seal strengthens her humanoid spear attacks and Absolute Defense and adds a divine humanoid transformation. The interface calls it “Goddess of Life Scion Form” in one listing even while its description and surrounding narration call it the primordial form of the Goddess of War; the supplied text does not reconcile that naming inconsistency. Mechanically, the change makes her humanoid form her strongest overall combination of damage, health, and defense rather than merely the guarded alternative to Dragonhawk. (Chapter 837)

A crimson rock found during the late demonic campaign becomes the catalyst for the fourth and final seal. Felice again enters a golden egg, remains inaccessible while the seal breaks, and reappears at Celestial tier with fifteen-star growth. Her completed Goddess of War Scion Form multiplies damage and defense by five, health by forty, converts attacks to Chaos damage, and makes her immune to status restrictions. Because every ultimate form enters cooldown together, she still cannot combine its offense with Ancient Tree healing or either beast berserk in the same window. The final seal therefore perfects one branch of her versatility rather than removing the need to choose a role. (Chapters 849–850 and 854)

Before the final championship, Felice's new role tradeoff is demonstrated against Hulkinsh. She enters Goddess of War Scion Form and contributes more than nine hundred thousand damage per second, enough to overcome part of the boss's constant healing. Scion Form cannot heal, however, so Zhang must return her to the companion slot after she takes sustained damage instead of switching to Tree of Life while the shared transformation window is active. This is a boss encounter, not the championship itself, and it shows that maximum offense does not replace her healing branch. (Chapter 849)

Felice's final documented combat is the decisive world-championship team battle. She remains in the completed Scion Form as a status-immune offensive partner; Chapters 854–856 do not show her changing to Tree of Life or healing. Her spear attacks help eliminate God's Left Hand, continued pressure helps defeat Captain America, and the surviving enemy calculates that Zhang, the Phoenix, and Felice together will exhaust her remaining health. This ending preserves Felice's central relationship and autonomy: she is alive, active, and fighting as Zhang's partner at the championship's conclusion, but the later real-world epilogue does not state what becomes of her when the game approaches shutdown. (Chapters 854–856)

Appearance and personality

Felice first appears as a thumb-sized girl with long black hair, a delicate face, a maturely proportioned miniature body, and a spear and shield. Leveling enlarges her until she resembles a young teenager in a silver-white battle gown and reaches roughly Zhang's shoulder. Her Dragonhawk form is a five-meter-long flying creature with an eight-meter wingspan and vividly colored feathers; the Spectral Tiger is normally seven to eight meters long but becomes enormous under Berserk, while Tree of Life turns her into a healing tree. Her later humanoid presentations retain the floating black hair, long lance, and valiant bearing associated with the divine statues and Scion form. (Chapters 462–464, 669, 750, and 837)

She is affectionate, curious, protective, and increasingly self-directed. “Big Brother” expresses genuine attachment to Zhang rather than automatic obedience: Felice normally follows his tactics, but refuses dismissal when Anubask awakens her buried hatred and independently approaches every site that can release a seal. She can be playful or defensive toward the party, reacts angrily when Zhang is insulted or endangered, and willingly scouts or heals when those roles help the group. Her lost memories remain painful and her divine origin unresolved, giving her development an interior motive beyond combat progression. (Chapters 463–464, 498–500, 511, 661, 669, and 749–750)

Abilities and gameplay

Felice is a unique multi-role Battle Companion whose available statistics and skills change with form. She gains experience and can equip companion gear, but only one Battle Companion can be contracted by a player; companions may disobey or terminate a contract, lose a level on death, and can be summoned or dismissed instantly when conscious. Potions, bandages, and food work on her only outside combat, Zhang cannot redirect damage from her with Sacrifice, and periods spent inside a seal's egg or unconscious after the Anubask outburst make her entirely unavailable. (Chapters 463, 499–500, and 507)

Humanoid form

At Level 30, Blazing Dragon's Spear deals 100% physical attack as Fire damage for 50 Power on a one-second cooldown. Dragon's Spear Barrage deals 150% physical damage for 50 Power, has a one-minute cooldown, and carries a 10% chance to stun, with a reduced but nonzero chance against bosses. The third seal upgrades these to 200% Fire melee damage and 300% physical damage respectively, while raising Barrage's stun chance to 30% for five seconds. (Chapters 464 and 837)

Felice acquires Absolute Defense upon reaching Level 101. It reduces all incoming damage by 99% for two minutes, initially has a twelve-hour cooldown, and works only in humanoid form; changing form ends the effect. She uses it during the story-driven attack on Anubask, where it reduces the dragon's ordinary sixty-to-seventy-thousand damage to hundreds. After the third seal breaks, the skill retains its two-minute duration and form restriction but its cooldown falls to four hours. (Chapters 470, 499–500, and 837)

The third seal also unlocks the humanoid divine transformation, listed inconsistently as Goddess of Life Scion Form while described as the Goddess of War's primordial form. Its first version adds 300% attack, gives attacks the Chaos attribute, adds 300% defense and 2,000% maximum health, lasts two hours, and has a seventy-two-hour cooldown. The final seal upgrades Goddess of War Scion Form to 500% added damage, 500% added defense, forty times maximum health, Chaos attacks, and immunity to all status restrictions. It retains humanoid skills, lasts two hours, and shares its cooldown with every other ultimate form. (Chapters 837 and 854)

Dragonhawk form

Dragonhawk is Felice's flying, magic-offense form. Fire Missile deals 200% Magic Attack as Fire damage after a two-second cast and costs 20 Focus. Pulverizing Flame is an aimed, ten-second area channel on a thirty-second cooldown; after the first seal it strikes a thirty-by-thirty area for 50% Magic Attack as Fire damage each second and costs 100 Focus. Flight supplies scouting and access against airborne or ground-bound targets, but Felice cannot serve as a normal flying mount and Fire-resistant enemies can suppress most of the form's offense. (Chapters 464, 467, 511, 520, and 669–670)

Dragonhawk Berserk multiplies maximum health by twenty and raises attack, defense, and Magic Resistance by 300% for two hours. It generates one Berserk Energy Point every ten seconds and has a seventy-two-hour cooldown shared with Spectral Tiger Berserk and, after later seals, all other ultimate transformations. Berserk Recovery requires at least 10 points, restores 50% health plus another 5% per additional point, and has a thirty-minute cooldown. The long energy ramp and shared cooldown prevent Felice from immediately combining maximum offense with a different form's survival or healing transformation. (Chapters 669–670 and 750)

Spectral Tiger form

The first seal grants Spectral Tiger, a Nature-damage melee form with more health and resilience than Dragonhawk. Claw Attack deals 150% melee attack as Nature damage for 50 Focus. Frenzy Talon Strike consumes three Berserk Energy Points to deal 100% melee Nature damage to every target within fifty meters, making the form useful for both tanking pressure and large-group clearing. Nature damage also supplies an answer when a target's Fire resistance undermines Dragonhawk. (Chapters 669–670)

Spectral Tiger Berserk uses the same two-hour duration, seventy-two-hour shared cooldown, twentyfold health, 300% attack, defense, and Magic Resistance boosts, and one-point-per-ten-seconds energy generation as Dragonhawk Berserk. It can also use Berserk Recovery. Because the tiger trades some attack for higher ordinary durability, Zhang commonly selects it when Felice must stay in melee or survive sustained pressure; its area strike, however, depends on accumulated energy and cannot be spammed from the beginning of the transformation. (Chapters 669–670 and 756–757)

Tree of Life form

The second seal grants a dedicated healing form. Bloom of Life instantly applies healing equal to 100% Magic Attack over fifteen seconds to one ally and the nine allies nearest that target. Praise of Life instantly heals one target for 300% Magic Attack and then another 100% over ten seconds, with a one-minute cooldown. Song of Life heals one target for 150% Magic Attack after a two-second channel and has a ten-second cooldown. Together they let Felice sustain groups, answer a sudden health loss, or provide repeatable single-target support, but she gives up humanoid and beast-form attacks while transformed. (Chapter 750)

Ancient Tree of Life increases maximum health by 2,000%, healing by 300%, and defense and Magic Resistance by 300% for two hours. It has a three-day cooldown shared with all other ultimate forms. Only while Ancient Tree is active can Felice use Redemption, an instant full heal with a thirty-minute cooldown. This makes her capable of healing on the scale of a principal raid healer, yet choosing Ancient Tree removes her strongest damage transformation for the same cooldown cycle; late fights explicitly force Zhang to switch her between healing and offense as conditions change. (Chapters 750, 753, 808, and 849)

Progression and combat interactions

Breaking the four seals raises Felice through Ethereal, Holy, Ascended, and Celestial tiers and increases all-attribute growth from eleven stars after the first seal to twelve, thirteen, and finally fifteen. Her specialized equipment grows with these releases rather than becoming obsolete in the ordinary way. The forms are complementary rather than cumulative: humanoid supplies defense and eventually the strongest Chaos offense, Dragonhawk provides flight and Fire magic, Tiger supplies Nature melee and durability, and Tree supplies healing. Elemental resistance, focus or energy costs, cast times, form-exclusive skills, and the universal shared transformation cooldown ensure that the tactical choice remains meaningful. (Chapters 503, 669–670, 750, 837, and 850–854)

Felice coordinates particularly well with Zhang and the Phoenix. Zhang holds threat and supplies Vitality Aura while Felice selects the damage type or healing role the encounter requires; the Phoenix adds a second flying source of pressure. Conversely, Felice cannot receive Zhang's Sacrifice, and both companions disappear if Zhang is defeated in arena rules. Her final status immunity prevents opponents from solving the Scion form with crowd control, but they can still target Zhang himself, wait out a form, exploit the seventy-two-hour shared cooldown, or force Felice back into Tree form to address party damage. (Chapters 499, 610, 670, 808, 849, and 854–856)

Relationships

  • Zhang Yang: Her contracted partner and “Big Brother.” He supplies the blood that hatches her and later activates the first seal, respects the pain around her missing memory, and directs her in battle; Felice usually follows him but repeatedly proves that affection, not ownership, governs the bond. (Chapters 462–464, 499–500, 661–670, and 749)
  • Han Ying Xue: Han keeps Zhang alive through the blood sacrifice that enables Felice's birth and later serves as her principal healer. Once Tree of Life is unlocked, Felice can in turn share Han's group-healing workload or substitute for her in smaller parties. (Chapters 462, 507, 750, and 756–757)
  • Wei Yan Er: Their relationship begins roughly when Felice attacks Wei for mocking Zhang, but Wei becomes a regular comrade and eventually gives Felice the black crystal that breaks her third seal. Both then fight together through the endgame campaigns. (Chapters 463, 561, 837, and 849)
  • Phoenix Pet: The Phoenix is Felice's closest combat counterpart: another living companion who flies beside Zhang and joins her in concentrated boss and arena attacks. They do not merge abilities, and Felice's form choice gives her healing and damage-type options the Phoenix lacks. (Chapters 621, 670, 750, 837, and 854–856)
  • Sun Xin Yu: Sun is a recurring core-party attacker beside Felice. Felice's magic and transformation damage complement Sun's stealth melee pressure in raids and professional battles, while both depend on Zhang to control encounters around their offense. (Chapters 467, 561, 632, 808, and 849)

Items

  • Primordial Dragon Lance: Felice's specialized Mythical weapon. At Level 100 it supplies 5,116–6,116 Magic Attack, 6,614–7,614 melee attack on a 3.8-second interval, 20% increased damage, and 3% Critical rate; it grows with her level and seals instead of following ordinary replacement rules. (Chapter 503)
  • Companion armor: Felice receives a matching set of specialized Mythical equipment whose tier and attributes grow as her seals open. The set helps her humanoid form reach unusually high defense and health but remains equipment rather than the source of her sentience or identity. (Chapters 503 and 837)
  • Black and crimson seal catalysts: Wei gives Felice the black crystal that triggers the release of her third seal, while a later crimson rock triggers the fourth. Each interaction encloses Felice in an egg-like transformation structure, but the text does not explicitly state whether either catalyst is consumed or remains afterward; both should be distinguished from the original Mysterious Egg in which Felice was incubated. (Chapters 837 and 850–854)
