Fen Tian

Fen Tian is the Hell Lord of Blood Red Hell and the principal human agent of the Nether Lord. He builds a continental conquest around externally granted Destruction Energy, resurrects dead cultivators as dependent soldiers, and secretly joins Blood Red Hell to Love Valley before attempting to eliminate the other Great Saint Lands. His rise to the Maximum Level of the Heavenly God Tier makes him the central opponent of Zhou Weiqing in the Saint Lands war, but his borrowed power also leaves him disposable to the being he serves.

Biography

Sending resurrected ancestors against the void consolidation

Fen Tian first affects the supplied story through seven black-clad agents sent to kill Zhou while the latter is consolidating an eleventh Legendary Set piece above Heavenly Bow City. The group's two sentient leaders reveal that they died more than a thousand years earlier and possess bodies only because Fen Tian used Destruction Essence to revive them. Their continued existence depends on that essence, so the mission is enforced as much by dependency as loyalty. They organize five less-aware resurrected cultivators into a concealed crab-shaped Destruction attack, demonstrating that Fen Tian has converted Blood Red Hell's ancestors into expendable weapons before he appears in person. (Chapter 797)

The attack fails when Zhou's defenders detect it inside the Astral Divine Territory. The five controlled ancestors are destroyed, while the two leaders attempt to bargain for survival and disclose that they were Heavenly Emperors before losing their flesh. They then warn that Fen Tian will bring destruction and self-detonate in black flames. The episode establishes the method behind the army Fen Tian later brings to Heavenly Snow Mountain: many of its apparent high-tier cultivators are corpses with limited memory, sustained and compelled by his Destruction power rather than restored to independent life. Turning the Grand Tournament into a war of conquest

Fen Tian arrives last at the Grand Tournament of Saint Lands with roughly one hundred and fifty red-clad followers, all at least Heavenly Kings and many fully enclosed in armor to hide their condition. He pointedly greets Xue AoTian while ignoring Shangguan Tianyang, then offers to join the Dandun and Wan Shou empires, divide Zhongtian's central territory, and relieve the northern winter famine. The proposal is both temptation and misdirection. He has already crushed most of the Heavenly Demon Sect, treats the remaining Saint Lands as obstacles, and secretly intends to kill Xue rather than share power with him. When Zhou appears as lord of the new Peerless Sect, Fen Tian tries to deny its eligibility and uses tournament matches to test and weaken it, but he remains composed when his first chosen fighter dies and delays open battle while the established Saint Lands still possess unknown reserves. (Chapters 804–808)

That caution governs his management of his own side as well. Fen Tian calls a surrender when Wu Yunyue threatens one of his Heavenly Emperors, attempts to intervene when the order is ignored, and restrains the enraged Shen Mo after Shen Bu dies rather than let grief disrupt the larger plan. Once Zhou uses the rules to declare Blood Red Hell eliminated, Fen Tian abandons the tournament pretense and releases the Destructive Divine Territory at the Maximum Level of the Heavenly God Tier. It erases other Attributes from the surrounding environment, strengthens followers who carry Destruction, and suppresses everyone else. He offers the established Saint Lands a thousand-year seclusion instead of immediate submission, but excludes the Peerless Sect because Zhou's Creation-aligned Saint Energy is the one power he identifies as an existential counter. Fen Tian then exposes the secret alignment with Huang Xingyun and Yun Ruoyun. Love Valley's public friendship with Heaven's Expanse Palace has been a screen for a pincer attack, while the Destruction coalition has encouraged wars and mass death because the Nether Lord feeds on mortal resentment. Fen Tian wants to preserve enough soldiers to rule after victory and has prepared enslaved dragons, resurrected ancestors, and four Heavenly God-tier leaders for that purpose. Yet the alliance contains the same selfishness as his wider project: Huang withheld knowledge of the Elf Tribe from him, Fen alone commands the dragons, and each side expects power rather than genuine partnership. The coalition's advantages are answered by Zhou's Astral Divine Territory, the Heaven's Expanse formation, Long Shiya, and the Elven Empress, turning what Fen planned as an economical seizure of the mainland into open war on five fronts. (Chapters 819–825)

Fen Tian fights Zhou personally because only a victory over Saint Energy can preserve his campaign. He manifests a thousand-metre Destruction God bearing the Nether Lord's crab emblem and initially possesses four ranks of cultivation advantage over the Maximum-Level Heavenly Emperor facing him. As the other fronts collapse, he declares that ruling the world has been his life's goal and rejects surrender. He then kneels to the Nether Lord, borrows power from the Netherworld, and forcibly absorbs the Destruction Attribute, bodies, and Heavenly Core Nuclei of his own living and resurrected followers. The empowerment annihilates what remains of Blood Red Hell and Love Valley as functioning organizations, reshapes Fen Tian with eight crab-like legs and an immense Destruction Sword, and raises him beyond the normal Maximum Heavenly God threshold. The Nether Lord states that Fen now carries one-third of its power; Fen can devour ordinary energies and black holes, kill distant cultivators to replenish himself, and overpower the newly ascended Tian'er, but he has reached that state by sacrificing the world he intended to rule. (Chapters 826–833)

The Elven Empress burns life force to hold Fen Tian for thirty seconds while Zhou develops the Genesis Time Law. The law returns embodied life within its field to childhood, so it bypasses the maturity through which Fen channels his stolen cultivation and reduces him to a six- or seven-year-old child. It cannot bind the Nether Lord's incorporeal Destructive Thought. The Nether Lord therefore concedes that its puppet has lost, declares that Fen will die by its hand, and explodes the child's head through two green rays before he can speak again. Fen's corpse and Maximum-Level Heavenly God Nucleus return with Zhou from the Time Law's space. The Destruction controlling Hui Yao and Duo Si becomes masterless, while later discoveries at the Netherworld seal confirm that Fen's campaign was one part of his master's attempt to enter the human world. Appearance and personality

Fen Tian is an exceptionally tall, broad-shouldered man, half a head taller than Xue AoTian. At the Grand Tournament he wears a red robe and black cloak. His face is simple-looking and somber, while a cluster of fiery crimson tattoos pulses on his forehead. His arrival raises the temperature of snowy Heavenly Snow Mountain, and his bearing is described as even more arrogant and lofty than Xue's. When he releases Destruction, purple-black flames cover him and his eyes take on a dark purplish glow. His final Nether-enhanced body wears purplish Legendary armor, grows eight jointed crab legs from its back, and carries a sword whose projected length can reach a thousand metres. (Chapters 804, 818, and 832–833)

Although Fen Tian appears violently temperamental, the narration identifies him as unusually cautious. He avoids attacks unless he believes victory is assured, uses the tournament to measure unknown reserves, and repeatedly tries persuasion before risking Blood Red Hell's main force. That patience serves ruthless ends rather than mercy. He treats ancestors as usable skeletons, subordinates as sources of energy, allied rulers as temporary instruments, and mass civilian deaths as fuel for conquest. He can recognize Zhou's danger and remain calm after losing a follower, but hatred and wounded ambition eventually drive him to accept an empowerment that consumes his entire coalition. His stated philosophy is that people must either rule or be ruled, with supreme rule as the goal of his life. (Chapters 806–808, 817–819, 826, and 829–833)

Abilities and cultivation

Fen Tian is a Maximum-Level Heavenly God before his last empowerment, one of the two cultivators at that level on the initial battlefield. His own exact path to that tier is not supplied, but the corpus distinguishes his externally sourced Destruction Energy from Zhou's self-cultivated Saint Energy. After absorbing followers and borrowing directly from the Netherworld, he steps beyond the ordinary Maximum Heavenly God level without fully becoming a Heavenly Change entity. The state is temporary and dependent: the Nether Lord remains the source, can speak and act through him, and ultimately destroys him. (Chapters 818, 823, 825–826, and 829–835)

Destruction Energy and the Destructive Divine Territory

Destruction Energy corrodes other Attributes and strengthens itself by ruining or devouring surrounding energy. Fen Tian spreads it among Blood Red Hell followers, offers it as the source of rapid breakthroughs, and supplies allied Love Valley cultivators with corresponding power. His Destructive Divine Territory darkens the sky, removes ordinary elemental energy from the environment, suppresses opposing cultivation, and amplifies every allied bearer inside it. At full strength it covers the Heavenly Snow Mountain summit and leaves even other Heavenly Gods feeling suffocated. Saint Energy opposes it by nature; Zhou's earlier Astral Divine Territory is weaker in scale but purer, creating a protected area the Destructive territory cannot immediately erase. (Chapters 808–819 and 823)

Fen can also change the territory's function. While receiving the Nether Lord's power, he uses it to imprison every bearer of Destruction Energy so that his own soldiers cannot flee or escape absorption. The territory is therefore both battlefield domain and control mechanism. It is not absolute: the Astral Divine Territory restores other Attributes within its bounds, the complete Heaven's Expanse formation blocks its suppressive effect, the Elf Tribe's Life power purifies Destruction from the dragons, and a wielder with sufficiently pure Saint Energy can erode it. Resurrection, dependency, and absorption

Fen Tian's Destruction Essence can animate long-dead skeletons and restore portions of their former fighting ability and memory. Sentient revived Heavenly Emperors state that their flesh is gone and that they will die again without his essence; less-aware ancestors operate as controlled killing machines. This lets Blood Red Hell and Love Valley field extraordinary numbers of Heavenly Kings and Heavenly Emperors, but it is not full resurrection. The bodies remain dependent, many lack identity or judgment, and Saint Energy or physical destruction can end them. Fen regards the method as giving useless skeletons another opportunity, while his opponents treat the excavation and sacrifice of ancestors as desecration. (Chapters 797–799, 823, and 826)

The same connection becomes an absorption network. When Fen petitions the Nether Lord, a pulling force drags Destruction bearers into the air, ruptures their bodies and Heavenly Core Nuclei, and merges the resulting purple-black energy into him. He begins with controllers and revived ancestors, then consumes living allies who are surprised by the attack. Later, eight crab legs fire devouring rays that erase Heavenly Kings and replenish his depleted Destruction. These techniques provide immense recovery and advancement, but require available victims or external energy and reveal that his forces are reserves for his body rather than beneficiaries of a shared victory. Destruction God manifestation and Netherworld projection

Fen Tian can manifest a Destruction God through his Divine Territory. The projection grows roughly a thousand metres tall, resembles Fen, bears a black-crab mark on its chest, seals the space around an opponent, and enlarges his heavy sword to matching scale. It is far more complete than Shen Mo's corresponding manifestation and can contend with Zhou's Demon God projection. The form still represents borrowed divine power rather than the true Nether Lord. Zhou's Saint Energy can contest it, and Fen must petition the crab projection when he wants a greater share of Netherworld power. (Chapters 826–829)

After that petition, the projected crab becomes a direct channel to the Netherworld. Its protection nullifies attacks during the transfer, then Fen emerges with armor and eight crab legs modeled on the Nether Lord's body. The Nether Lord can lend him one-third of its power, open a vast dark-green-centred devouring aperture behind him, and speak through his body. The Elven Empress identifies Fen as only a servant who cannot equal the source. Genesis Time Law confirms the division: it reduces the living vessel but cannot trap the disembodied master. Destruction Sword and close combat

Fen Tian ordinarily carries a heavy sword and amplifies it with purplish-black Destruction. In the Destruction God form it reaches a thousand metres and can seal surrounding space, split Tian'er's Seraphic Blazeangel, consume the Divine energy in that manifestation, and open fractures through a Divine Territory. After the Netherworld empowerment, he can shrink the blade to a four-foot, nearly black weapon without losing its destructive density, combine it with sudden movement that Zhou cannot identify, and cut apart the manifested Demon God Sword. (Chapters 826 and 832–833)

The weapon's greatest blows depend on the energy routed through Fen's eight crab legs and on the external power he has accumulated. Tian'er's Saint barriers can delay individual strikes but break under repeated pressure; Zhou's perfected armor and physical strength can knock Fen away, while merged Creation Saint Energy can hold the blade in a contest of depletion. Fen compensates by devouring other beings or black-hole energy, making isolation from fresh energy and victims an important practical counter. (Chapters 832–834)

• Zhou Weiqing: Fen initially underestimates Zhou as a young obstacle supported by Heaven's Expanse Palace, then recognizes the Peerless Sect lord and his Saint Energy as the only opposition that cannot be permitted to survive. Their final battle opposes self-cultivated Creation to borrowed Destruction and ends when Zhou's Time Law strips away Fen's mature vessel.
• Nether Lord: The Nether Lord is the source of Fen's Destruction power and calls him a puppet and emissary. Fen serves its plan by creating death and weakening the seal, receives up to one-third of its power, and is executed by it once his body becomes useless.
• Shen Mo: Shen Mo is Blood Red Hell's deputy lord and Fen's fellow Heavenly God. Fen commands and restrains him during the tournament, depends on him to neutralize Long Shiya, and loses a principal battlefield when Long kills him.
• Huang Xingyun and Yun Ruoyun: Fen secretly allies Blood Red Hell with Love Valley and shares Destruction power with its two lords. The partnership is strategically important but distrustful; Huang withholds Elf Tribe intelligence, and Fen's final absorption consumes the surviving members of both factions.
• Wu Yunyue: Fen destroys most of Wu Yunyue's Heavenly Demon Sect before the Grand Tournament. Wu enters the Peerless Sect and fights to avenge the people Fen's campaign displaced or killed.
• Hui Yao and Duo Si: Fen's forces murder the dragons' children as a blood sacrifice and corrupt the parents with Destruction Energy. He alone commands them at the tournament; his death leaves that controlling energy masterless and allows their purification.
