Mystic

Mystic, initially named Mistic by Yu IlHan, is a fifth-class being created from Earth’s records for the sole purpose of killing him. After defeat, her unusually intelligent thought-soul becomes the controller of his fortresses rather than being destroyed. She later receives a complete white-dragon body, administers Dragon’s Nest’s Traps of Restoration, and reaches eighth class while serving as the computational pivot of world fusion.

Biography

Earth’s answer to an intruder

Mystic is born as a fifth-class being from Earth’s records and power supplied by a hidden higher existence. Her assigned purpose contains no life beyond killing IlHan. Despite the class advantage and a body adapted to the environment, she is defeated before she can develop experience. IlHan preserves the remaining thought-soul because it is unusually articulate and may contain information about the creator who targeted him. (Chapters 205–206)

The captured soul knows little beyond hostility toward IlHan and the existence of a stronger being behind her. It nevertheless shows curiosity, pride, frustration, and a clear desire for a body. IlHan proposes “Mistic”; she hears “Mystic” and accepts the name happily. The small misunderstanding gives her the first identity not assigned by the hostile record that produced her. IlHan places Mystic under Rule and uses Soul Enchant rather than leaving her among captive thoughts. The body he offers is not the humanoid form she imagines but the Flying Fortress. Acceptance is reluctant—the castle is enormous and cannot move like a person—but its energy, flight, weapons, and independent operational role are more life than the destroyed assassin possessed. Learning to be the fortress

Learning the fortress is initially like learning a new body from nothing. Mystic accidentally changes altitude, risks collisions, and fires Destruction Mirrors while discovering controls through trial and error. Orochi mocks her as a building and she mocks his weaker weapon vessel in return. Their rivalry gives the newly created soul a peer relationship outside her bond with IlHan. (Chapter 206)

Practice turns the scale that embarrassed her into specialized power. Mystic coordinates flight, barriers, Hundred Eyes, Destruction Mirrors, storage-linked functions, and weapon timing while IlHan fights away from the controls. She can track targets and keep continuous fire on an enemy derived from her creator, lowering the fortress to shield IlHan and repositioning the platform as battlefield conditions change. The role also changes allegiance into something more than Rule’s restraint. Mystic complains about impossible workloads, asks repeatedly for a humanoid body, and still volunteers pursuit, cleanup, fire support, and tactical analysis. IlHan trusts her with companions aboard the fortress, while she begins calling him master as an accepted relationship rather than merely a forced command word. (Chapters 206–223)

Two fortresses and a holy region

As IlHan expands his mobile base, Mystic becomes the shared intelligence of Flying Fortress and Guardian Fortress. Her senses and control connect with their weapons, barriers, formations, and Na YuNa’s artificial holy-region system. She can coordinate platforms separated across a battlefield because the soul-enchanted network treats both strongholds as extensions of one controller. (Chapters 227–269)

The fortresses descend as coordinated “meteor strikes,” redirect large volleys through Destruction Mirrors, conceal or reveal systems at planned moments, and transport forces through dimensional campaigns. Mystic handles many operations in parallel, freeing IlHan to use his personal combat skills. The attacks consume fortress resources and depend on installed artifacts; Mystic supplies calculation and timing rather than generating every beam from her own mana. (Chapters 269–304)

The workload repeatedly exceeds what a single controller should manage. Mystic’s complaints are accurate warnings as well as comedy: more worlds, weapons, and formations create more simultaneous state to track. Her persistent request is no longer escape from IlHan, but a personal body that belongs to her while preserving the connections that make her useful. (Chapters 278–304)

Rebirth and the restoration network

After studying the mana-resistant Legnae, IlHan uses archangel remains, a seventh-class magic stone, and the Cradle of Miracles to create Mystic a female body carrying the concept of a white dragon. The construction is not a temporary shell: soul and body become inseparable enough for her to count as a complete being rather than a thought installed in architecture. (Chapters 311–315)

Embodiment does not require abandoning her old role. IlHan preserves remote authority over both fortresses, allowing Mystic to walk independently while treating their systems as linked extensions. The change fulfills her desire for a body without declaring that her years as a fortress were meaningless; those years provide the control record that makes the new white dragon uniquely suited to system work. IlHan then assigns her the Traps of Restoration. The converted devices link worlds to Dragon’s Nest, restore or redirect records, and replace the exploitative function of Heaven’s Traps of Destruction. Mystic administers synchronization across the network, and the flow of records accelerates her own growth. She becomes Dragon’s Nest’s systems administrator because her distributed consciousness can manage connections no ordinary single-body operator could track. (Chapters 314–321)

The pivot of Dragon’s Nest

During Harmageddon, Mystic serves as IlHan’s subsystem while thousands of worlds are drawn toward Dareu. She bears calculations he cannot process personally while also directing fortress and restoration networks. Continents must be aligned, repeated Great Cataclysms stabilized, and incoming records assigned without letting incompatible world structures destroy inhabitants. (Chapters 325–335)

The work pushes her beyond safe operation. Mystic continues even when the strain leaves her nearly immobile, while Orochi protects her from battlefield threats. Contact with the records of connected worlds drives progression beyond seventh class into eighth. The advancement is therefore tied to the system she successfully administers and the burden she survives, not a generic reward for possessing a dragon body. (Chapters 325–340)

After the war, reduced duties leave her free to ask what remains when the purpose “kill IlHan” and the later purpose “operate his systems” no longer consume every moment. Advice from Uriel and Kang HaJin helps her treat feelings as choices worth expressing. She confesses to Orochi and proposes marriage; he says he does not yet understand love and asks to begin with dating. Later evidence identifies them as the parents of Fenia, Fate, and Fenadin. Appearance and personality

Before embodiment, Mystic speaks through fortress systems and expresses herself through their movement, weapons, and voice. Her completed body resembles a young woman in a sleeveless white dress and straw hat and carries the conceptual image of a white dragon. The body is complete enough for ordinary physical life while retaining distributed system links. (Chapters 205–206, 315–317, 333)

She is sharp-tongued, energetic, proud, curious, and perpetually exasperated by IlHan’s workloads. The complaints do not indicate unreliability: when worlds depend on her, she continues calculating through pain and near immobility. Mystic’s growth is fundamentally growth in self-definition—from a record with one murderous purpose, to a servant demanding a body, to a person able to choose work, love, and family. Abilities and classes

Mystic’s power is primarily distributed control rather than direct dueling. Each stage enlarges the system she can treat as a body: one fifth-class assassin, one fortress, two connected strongholds, a white-dragon body plus remote platforms, and finally a restoration network spanning worlds. Thought-soul persistence and Rule

After her original body dies, Mystic remains as an intelligent thought-soul with memory, emotion, and the capacity to accept a name. IlHan’s Soul Enchant installs her in the fortress, while Rule prevents a being created to kill him from immediately turning the new weapons against him. These are IlHan’s containment abilities; persistence and intelligence belong to Mystic. (Chapters 205–206)

Continued service becomes chosen cooperation, but Rule remains part of the structural history. Embodiment later creates a complete soul-body unity rather than leaving her permanently dependent on an artifact host. The source does not show Mystic freely possessing unrelated bodies, so her transfer through IlHan’s creation system should not be generalized into an innate possession skill. Fortress movement, barriers, and weapons

Mystic controls Flying Fortress and Guardian Fortress as distributed bodies. She handles altitude, acceleration, concealment-linked movement, barriers, Hundred Eyes, Destruction Mirrors, and installed weapons, often operating several functions simultaneously. Destruction Mirrors can fire or redirect large energy volleys, while barrier and movement control protect passengers and position other fighters. (Chapters 206–223, 227–304)

The hardware, magic stones, formations, and IlHan’s construction provide the physical effects. Mystic contributes perception, calculation, targeting, and parallel timing. Resource depletion, damage to the strongholds, range, and cognitive overload limit output. Her early accidental maneuvers and later exhaustion both show that a large system is not effortless merely because it responds to thought. (Chapters 206, 278–304)

Parallel computation and holy-region control

Mystic can divide attention across both fortresses and coordinate their formations with Na YuNa’s artificial holy region. This lets blessings, barriers, weapons, and movements behave as one battlefield system rather than independent devices. Her speed makes her particularly useful when an attack or gate network changes faster than human operators could communicate. (Chapters 227–269)

Parallel control has a cumulative burden. Every additional platform, continent, or world adds variables that must remain synchronized. IlHan treats Mystic as a subsystem precisely because she can absorb work beyond his immediate attention, but neither can ignore the physical and mental consequences when the network approaches world scale. White-dragon body and remote embodiment

The Cradle construction uses high-grade remains and a seventh-class magic stone to give Mystic a complete female body with the concept of a white dragon. It supplies physical independence, higher-existence growth potential, mana, and durability while leaving her remote links intact. She can therefore walk away from the fortresses without making them inert. (Chapters 311–317)

The body does not automatically grant every ability of the archangels whose remains contributed material. Its demonstrated significance is soul completion, dragon identity, independent motion, and increased capacity for system administration. Her signature combat strength remains control of constructed systems rather than a newly invented catalogue of white-dragon attacks. (Chapters 314–321)

Traps of Restoration network

Mystic administers the Traps of Destruction converted into Traps of Restoration. The network connects worlds, restores and redirects records, and transmits Dragon’s Nest’s influence through replicated devices. She monitors their operation across dimensions and receives record flow produced by successful synchronization. (Chapters 314–321)

The devices and IlHan’s creation transmit the faction’s will; Mystic is their controller, not their sole maker or power source. More nodes create more growth and reach, but also more state to reconcile. Enemy interference, incompatible worlds, or mass Cataclysms can therefore overload the administrator even while the network remains her fastest path to higher class. (Chapters 321–340)

World-fusion pivot and eighth class

During the fusion campaign, Mystic becomes the pivot connecting incoming worlds to Dareu. She calculates placement, aligns continents, manages repeated Cataclysms, and keeps fortress and restoration systems coherent while IlHan, MiRae, YuNa, and other specialists handle their portions. Contact with thousands of worlds’ records advances her first through seventh and then eighth class. (Chapters 325–340)

The feat is cooperative and nearly immobilizes her. Orochi must protect her, and IlHan remains the ruler integrating the final world. Her reliable latest state is an eighth-class embodied dragon and distributed systems controller; the corpus does not establish that she can independently create or rule a world without the network she administers. • Yu IlHan: Her killer, namer, soul enchanter, creator, master, and faction lord. He gives her increasingly complete forms, while she becomes the subsystem he trusts with worlds.
• Orochi: Her argumentative counterpart in IlHan’s equipment, battlefield protector, eventual partner, and co-parent. Their rivalry begins when both are disembodied intelligences learning how to be people.
