Flying Fortress
The Flying Fortress, formally completed as the Destroyer’s Flying Fortress, is Yu IlHan’s mobile stronghold, weapon platform, workshop, and home. Built by upgrading his mansion and grounds, it becomes the operational center of Dragon’s Nest.
History
From mansion to airborne fortress
Yu IlHan first plans to combine the Bittersweet Persona with Keshna and his growing magic-engineering knowledge. He constructs levitation and directional engines, an operations room, internal and external traps, and roughly a thousand weapons able to attack land, sea, and air. After forty-eight days of work inside the Hourglass of Eternity, the completed fortress receives God rank and seven artifact options. (Chapters 172, 190, and 192–196)
Its first activation lifts the entire mansion district from the ground. The fortress attracts monsters with a powerful mana signal, destroys them through the Hundred Eyes and other weapons, and can use its own immense mass as a ramming attack. (Chapters 196–200)
Mystic and the interworld fleet
Yu IlHan soul-enchants Mystic into the fortress as its manager, allowing her to fly and fight with it while he operates independently. The Flying Fortress later carries his fleet through dimensional warps and gains a holy region sustained with Na YuNa’s power. (Chapters 206, 221, and 227–229)
Center of Dragon’s Nest
The fortress fights higher existences, coordinates with the Guardian Fortress, and becomes linked to the expanding city in Dareu. Mystic remains its control tower even after gaining a complete body, while the fortress continues to serve as Yu IlHan’s family residence after the war. (Chapters 241, 285, 314–327; Extra Chapter 4)
Abilities and properties
- Yu IlHan can treat the entire structure as his equipment, control it directly, conceal it, and carry it through dimensional travel. (Chapters 196, 200, and 221)
- Its barrier supports flight, defense, abrupt acceleration, and ramming attacks. (Chapters 196–197)
- The Hundred Eyes and other installations bombard enemies, drain and reflect mana, and attack in every direction. (Chapters 195–197, 241)
- Its interior includes living space, workshops, defenses, and later a holy region. (Chapters 206, 217, and 227–231)
