Cradle of Miracles

The Cradle of Miracles is a God-ranked vessel evolved from Yu IlHan’s Giant Bucket. It purifies and concentrates exceptional materials, catalyzes draconic transformation, and ultimately expands from a crafting artifact into the protective shell of an entire world.

History

A cursed vessel becomes a cradle

Yu IlHan upgrades the Giant Bucket with magic stones while working under Echjar’s curse. The result resonates with the fallen dragon’s blood, cleanses it, and absorbs its blood and mana. Immersion begins increasing Yu IlHan’s magic and driving his evolution. The Cradle later distills Echjar’s blood toward its pre-fall state and restores the quality of related eyes, scales, and other materials. (Chapters 246 and 250)

Yu IlHan’s companions bathe in the refined blood to strengthen themselves and prepare for higher realms. During his own ascension, the Cradle supports the fusion of his flames, dragon power, body, and techniques into a new existence. (Chapters 276 and 295)

The nest that births dragons

After Yu IlHan becomes a higher existence, the Cradle is bound to his soul and described less as ordinary matter than as the essence of a nest. It expands into a red egg and births Yumir as a true dragon. It subsequently transforms qualified beings including Liera and Uriel, allowing members of Dragon’s Nest to cross racial and class boundaries. It can also change into a furnace when Yu IlHan needs to restore or remake artifacts. (Chapters 307, 309, 311, 313, and 321)

Egg of a united world

The Cradle’s reach eventually extends beyond individual transformations. It envelops Dareu and Earth as a colossal egg, shelters Dragon’s Nest within interspace, and supports the joining of the worlds. Once the new world is born, the shell cracks and spreads through it. The Cradle becomes one with both Yu IlHan and his world, completing its purpose rather than simply being destroyed. (Chapters 326, 330, and 334–336)
