Zhu Xianyao is the first heir of the Horizontal Mountain Zhu Clan and a specialist in the consciousness-altering powers of its Slyheart Demonic Emperor bloodline. She then escaped by turning apparent vulnerability and physical intimacy into a second deception, establishing both her resourcefulness and the adversarial attraction that would complicate their later encounters. She remained responsible for securing the technique and accepted the clan's plan to erase Su Chen's relevant memories with the Sorrow-Erasing Baptism. Suspicious that the apparent theft of Kaihuang's Heaven might be his scheme, she brought him into the pursuit rather than leaving him free at the Institute. Her direct combat is less dominant than her control arts, but her improved bloodline, Arcana Techniques, and enslaved servants allow her to influence battles far above the level suggested by her personal realm.

Cultivation and bloodline development

Zhu Xianyao is at the Qi Drawing Realm during the Hidden Dragon Institute conflict and reaches the Yang Opening Realm by the West Laina expedition.
