Yue Longsha

Yue Longsha is an elite Hidden Dragon Institute student who becomes a deputy commander in Long Sang’s Secret Task Force. Her pursuit of the Immortal Temple begins as revenge for her father’s murder, but develops into a wider campaign against the organization’s radical network. Direct, pragmatic, and fiercely loyal, she is also one of Su Chen’s longest-standing friends and a key link among the allies formed during their student years.

Biography

Revenge and a difficult friendship

Yue Longsha first becomes known as one of the strongest students on the Hundred Refinements Pavilion registry, but Su Chen meets her while she is carrying out a private act of revenge. Her close friend Qiu Tang had been assaulted and killed by several Bloodline Nobility Clan students, who admitted the crime because they believed their status protected them. Yue Longsha responds by buying an expensive Stone Soul Medicine, luring the group into conflict with a Clay Giant, and trying to recoup the expense from the resulting spoils. Her plan is calculated rather than impulsive: punishing the killers is the primary goal, while profit makes the operation sustainable. (Chapters 160 and 224–226)

Su Chen initially mistakes her for a thief, ambushes her, and narrowly defeats her only through a delayed Thunderfire Ball after her moonlight techniques evade his direct attacks. Their interrogation becomes mutual respect once each understands the other’s methods and motives. That fragile connection almost breaks when Yue Longsha reveals that the Immortal Temple murdered her father, Yue Wuti, and Su Chen admits that he once overheard the plot but chose not to warn a commander he assumed could protect himself. She recognizes that his decision was understandable in context and cannot simply hate him, yet repressing the resulting grief causes her to cough blood and leave with deeply conflicted feelings. Their relationship changes when Su Chen engineers the confrontation that leaves Ma Renze, one of Yue Wuti’s assassins, helpless before her. Yue Longsha approaches to take revenge but heeds Shi Kaihuang’s warning against a hostage trick and Su Chen’s counsel not to turn execution into torture. She kills Ma Renze cleanly with a blade of moonlight, records the wider battle, and willingly allows Su Chen to distribute edited footage under her name. By accepting public responsibility, she obtains justice for her father while diverting the Immortal Temple, the Zhu Clan, and six other clans toward one another, creating the political cover that protects everyone involved. Yue Longsha then helps construct the false history given to the amnesiac Zhu Xianyao, presenting herself as an ally against the Immortal Temple and concealing Su Chen’s role in the earlier deception. The performance is convincing enough that Zhu Xianyao parts from her as a friend, though later investigation begins to expose inconsistencies. Su Chen subsequently formalizes his own friendship with Yue Longsha by giving her modified Blood Clones and Clear Wind Net. She accepts without ceremony, and her Dragon Transformation ranking rises from thirty-sixth to twenty-fourth, then twelfth and eighth over successive competitions, placing practical trust where mutual suspicion had begun. The Goldwater Ruins and Secret Task Force commission

During the final Institute competition, Yue Longsha deliberately surrenders to Cloud Leopard so that his true combat ability rather than his poor suitability for staged matches will determine his position. Her choice aligns her with Su Chen’s circle against students who want to exclude bloodline-less cultivators from the upper rankings. She then trains and enters the Goldwater Ruins with that circle, making the expedition an opportunity to convert an informal alliance into a battle-tested cohort rather than merely another contest for individual prestige. (Chapters 275 and 284–285)

Inside the ruins, the Temple Warrior Danba initially mistakes Gu Qingluo for the stronger nighttime target. Yue Longsha detects his ambush, evades the killing blow, and wounds him in return because her Moonlight Rabbit Bloodline becomes stronger after dark, although she is injured badly enough to require treatment and retreat. Once reunited with the larger human force, she continues fighting in coordinated ambushes and joins the group that reaches Patelocke’s research laboratory. Her survival depends on teamwork, while her warning that Su Chen must never expand his human experimentation beyond enemies shows that loyalty does not suspend her moral scrutiny of his methods. The research laboratory also deepens Yue Longsha’s personal regard for Su Chen. She initially interprets his preference for books and instruments over rare treasures as selfless devotion to humanity, then feels more at ease when he admits that knowledge, creative power, and personal advantage also motivate him. Her relief and preference for seeing him as an ordinary person carry an emotional implication that he notices but does not pursue. She nevertheless remains practical during the escape, helps treat his wounds and salvage the laboratory, and silently allows him to claim Patelocke’s tablet because his need for its knowledge is greater than hers. After graduation, Yue Longsha enters the organization her father once commanded. Because the new commander is Yue Wuti’s former subordinate, she is appointed deputy commander with control over an entire Secret Task Force branch and chooses the Crow Region as her jurisdiction. The position turns the intelligence gathering, surveillance, infiltration, and targeted violence that she had practiced privately into formal responsibilities on behalf of Long Sang. It also places Cloud Leopard under her command, preserving a direct operational connection to Su Chen even as the former students disperse across the country. (Chapter 341)

Deputy command in the Crow Region

Yue Longsha’s early tenure is mostly outside the narrative foreground. She visits Su Chen twice on official business after graduation, but her workload limits both meetings to brief encounters. Even in her absence, her earlier experience continues to shape him: her account of Qiu Tang explains why arrogant nobles openly confess crimes they expect status to shield, and her father’s murder remains the example that corrected Su Chen’s overly benign view of the Immortal Temple. Her influence therefore persists through the investigative and ethical lessons their friendship forced him to learn. (Chapters 373 and 508)

The friendship also survives distance and differing duties. When Su Chen distributes part of his Clear River fortune among old allies, Cloud Leopard reminds him to include Yue Longsha and he immediately assigns her the same substantial gift as the others. The scene does not establish that she receives or spends the money, but it confirms that the separated group still treats her as part of its inner circle. By their next direct meeting, she is sufficiently informed through Cloud Leopard and her own intelligence network to locate Su Chen during a covert Immortal Temple expedition. (Chapters 482 and 508)

Purging the Immortal Temple’s radicals

Yue Longsha comes to Mountain Overlook City seeking a communications object carried by Kong Cheng that contains the identities and contact routes of radicals such as Scarlet Hand Ainsley. Although her father’s death remains part of her history, she explicitly frames this mission as public duty rather than personal revenge: destroying the network could prevent many innocent deaths. She asks Su Chen to find the object while he travels with the Immortal Temple, then independently infiltrates the expedition deeply enough to monitor its members and identify the assassin Feng Xihuo. When Su Chen asks her to delay intervention, she refuses his transactional argument but agrees as soon as he appeals to their friendship, making clear that personal trust—not indebtedness—is why she yields. (Chapters 508 and 528)

After Zhu Xianyao’s forces attack Kong Cheng, Yue Longsha and her subordinates ambush the exhausted survivors, kill Kong Cheng and his Light Shaking protector, and recover the contact list. The layered operation lets the Zhu Clan absorb attention while the Secret Task Force secures its actual objective. Yue Longsha sends most of her people home to report but stays behind because the list exposes only part of a larger conspiracy involving foreign clans, other races, Immortal Temple remnants, and compromised officials. This choice shows her transition from an avenger pursuing one murderer to a commander following an institutional threat beyond the nominal end of a mission. (Chapters 535–536)

She also becomes the intermediary when Zhu Xianyao discovers that Su Chen has deceived her a second time. Yue Longsha demands a share of the expedition’s gains before accepting the task, then deliberately chooses a distinctive multicolored Illusion Crystal that Su Chen had intended for Gu Qingluo. She gives Zhu Xianyao an accurate account of the earlier conspiracy, accepts the possibility that Zhu Xianyao may add her to the list of enemies, and helps her return to confront Su Chen. Her candor supplies the factual framework through which Zhu Xianyao eventually recovers her memories, even though Yue Longsha cannot provide the private emotional details that Su Chen omitted. Yue Longsha remains emotionally guarded around Su Chen. After his relationship with Zhu Xianyao becomes explicit, she questions whether he will accept responsibility and is pleased that he will not abandon Zhu Xianyao merely to restore his earlier exclusivity with Gu Qingluo. She blushes and leaves when he asks whether her interest is personal, never confirming her intentions. Together with her earlier preference for his ordinary side and her choice of a crystal used as a symbol of enduring love, the exchange strongly implies unspoken affection, but the corpus does not establish a confession or romantic relationship between them. Rallying the old expedition

Years later, Iron Cliff asks Yue Longsha to help gather the people needed for a mission connected to Su Chen and the stranded Heavenly Might Battalion. Her access to intelligence routes across human territory makes her the natural coordinator. Yue Longsha contacts virtually everyone from the Goldwater Ruins expedition who had a meaningful relationship with Su Chen, arrives first at the rendezvous, and watches uncertainly to see who will answer. The large turnout validates both her communications ability and the durable loyalties the old students built together, while her quick embrace of Qi Weiyan shows that those ties are personal as well as operational. (Chapters 629–630)

The reunion also exposes the private cost of her long attachment. When asked why she remains unmarried after ten years, Yue Longsha dismisses aging as a concern for cultivators but falls silent when Qi Weiyan points out that waiting alone may accomplish nothing; she quietly says she understands. She nevertheless continues to act through friendship rather than make a claim on Su Chen. Her last direct appearance is a later visit to him at the Boundless Sect. The scene confirms that she is alive and still within his circle, but gives no updated office, cultivation realm, relationship, or role in the subsequent Harpy, sea, and final conflicts. Appearance and personality

Yue Longsha is an exquisite, elegant woman usually dressed in pure white robes, giving her a graceful or fairy-like aura. Her first detailed scenes describe her as a young maiden in white; more than a decade later, Qi Weiyan says that she remains as beautiful as before. The corpus does not specify her height, build, eye color, or hair color, and the continued youthfulness is associated generally with cultivation rather than an explicitly named appearance-preserving technique. She is calm, direct, efficient, and unusually grounded. Even when captured and drugged, she quickly accepts the tactical situation and answers questions without theatrical defiance; after accepting Su Chen’s techniques, she stores them without thanks or ceremony. Her controlled manner can conceal intense anger and grief, but she is not blindly vindictive: she distinguishes public duty from personal revenge, abandons the impulse to torture Ma Renze, and can understand Su Chen’s culpable mistake without pretending it did not hurt her. Yue Longsha is a bloodline cultivator whose combat style is strongest in moonlight and emphasizes concealment, rapid repositioning, precise attacks, and situational awareness. She also receives two modified techniques from Su Chen and develops extensive intelligence-command skills through the Secret Task Force. The corpus never explicitly states her cultivation realm, either at the Institute or in her latest appearance, so her rank should not be inferred from her peers or office.

Cultivation and combat progression

Yue Longsha begins among the five students who clear the fourth Hundred Refinements Pavilion room and later reaches the fifteenth room, remaining near the strongest members of her year. Her general fighting style is precise, adaptive, and quick. She nearly defeats Su Chen after being ambushed, detects Danba’s nighttime approach, evades his strongest opening strike, and counterattacks hard enough to wound and repel him. Conversely, her durability is comparatively poor when she is outside Moonlight Concealment: an unseen delayed explosion defeats her after she is already wounded, and Danba’s failed ambush still leaves her combat ability reduced. Moonlight Rabbit Bloodline

The inherited Moonlight Rabbit Bloodline makes Yue Longsha more powerful at night and lets her draw on moonlight for concealment and attack. Moonlight Concealment blends her body into illuminated moonlight so completely that an Erupting Firebird and Origin Energy bullets pass through without striking her. She can activate the state repeatedly over a short span, reappear to attack, and use a common Moonlight Stone to create the necessary illumination inside a cave. Consciousness attack, Blood Clones, and Clear Wind Net

Yue Longsha can project a consciousness disturbance through her gaze, momentarily shaking Su Chen during their first fight. Its name, origin, range, target requirements, and cost are never given, and Su Chen quickly recovers, so the scene supports only a short disruption rather than control or lasting damage. The ability combines effectively with her willingness to accept incoming strikes in order to launch a counterattack, but the corpus provides no later use from which to measure progression or resistance against stronger consciousness defenses. Su Chen gives Yue Longsha a modified version of the Bloodriver Zhong Clan’s Blood Clones. The clone has little offensive power, requires less blood and causes less harm to the true body than the original, and allows the user to switch positions with it within two hundred feet. As a Secret Task Force deputy commander, Yue Longsha uses information networks, surveillance, infiltration, and coordinated ambushes rather than relying only on personal combat. She traces Su Chen through his contact with Cloud Leopard, places or cultivates sources inside Shi Mingfeng’s expedition, identifies Feng Xihuo on sight, and recites the assassin’s appearance, bloodline mechanics, habits, successes, and escape pattern in detail. Her intelligence is extensive but not infallible: despite knowing Feng Xihuo well, the Task Force repeatedly fails to capture him because his first-strike power and rapid escape techniques make advance knowledge difficult to convert into custody. Her command style combines patience with layered force. She brings enough operatives to challenge Shi Mingfeng’s group, waits when friendship gives her a reason to avoid disrupting Su Chen’s plan, and then strikes Kong Cheng only after the Zhu Clan has exhausted his protection. Years later, she uses the Task Force’s human-wide communications reach to summon the dispersed Goldwater veterans for Iron Cliff. • Su Chen: Yue Longsha moves from ambushed opponent to co-conspirator, friend, intelligence partner, and trusted intermediary. He helps her avenge her father, while her experience changes his understanding of the Immortal Temple and her public responsibility shields his role in Ma Renze’s death. Her feelings for him are strongly implied but never openly confirmed; she consistently chooses friendship and independent duty rather than asking him for a romantic commitment.
