Li Zhouluo
Li Zhouluo is the son of Li Chenghuai and Madam Ding, and the grandson of Li Xizhi. A gifted metal cultivator raised close to his father, he temporarily manages the household before pursuing advancement and a new family in the Southern Sea. His ties to the Yang Family later make his safety a concern in negotiations between powers whose interests do not always coincide. (Chapters 940, 1181, 1380, and 1640)
Biography
A Cultivated Heir Learns Responsibility
Zhouluo grows up beside a father who dislikes long seclusion, receiving the daily attention Chenghuai himself had often lacked. His courteous confidence becomes useful among less assured relatives: when younger family members are hesitant to speak, he introduces them and helps the gathering proceed. He also learns to relay unusual problems affecting the household, including a hunter transformed into a deer. Cultivation confirms his promise. Without talisman seeds, he reaches Qi at eighteen and becomes the family’s first practitioner of Gold Aura Profound Inquiry, while Li Zhouwei approves his frank manner. (Chapters 940–941, 988, and 1000)
Talent and good resources do not immediately provide sound political judgment. When false accusations threaten Li Quewan, he fears that simply suppressing the complaint will make her appear guilty, but cannot easily resolve the dispute. Chenghuai’s emergence supplies the decisive intervention. Zhouluo also admires Xizhi’s bearing and generosity, without fully sharing his father’s painful experience of that relationship. The difference helps explain why family resources feel like opportunity to him while remaining emotionally complicated for Chenghuai. (Chapters 1048 and 1118)
Temporary Leadership amid Factional Demands
When stronger elders are absent and Li Jiangqian is secluded, Zhouluo becomes a suitable temporary administrator. He consults his generation and benefits from Li Xinghan’s support, but his own branch has little independent backing: he is its only descendant, with weak maternal connections and a father preparing for seclusion. Maintaining cooperation therefore requires accommodation. He manages appointments, gifts and requests for cultivation resources, rewarding useful service while also cultivating goodwill among relatives who may later influence his position. (Chapters 1181–1184 and 1205–1206)
These compromises keep daily government working without freeing him from factional expectations. He hears Chen Yang, handles disputes affecting the An household and responds to Profound Peak’s threatened position, receiving an entrusted inheritance from Kong Guxi. Such work shows that administration concerns relationships and future obligations as much as distributing resources. When Jiangqian returns, Zhouluo readily hands over the records and asks him to repair any omissions. His relief reflects the pressure of holding authority without the support enjoyed by stronger branches. (Chapters 1186, 1201, and 1235)
Southern Cultivation and a New Household
Xizhi offers Zhouluo a route away from years of household demands: travel to the Southern Sea, choose a suitable Dao companion and complete Foundation Establishment there. Zhouluo leaves after the handover, accompanied by Dili Guang, and accepts the residence his grandfather prepares. His statement that he is about to attempt the ninth Qi layer expresses a plan, rather than a completed rank. By the time he settles on Splitreed Island, he has emerged from seclusion with the Gold Feathered Beast immortal foundation and renewed vigor. (Chapters 1230, 1235, 1245, and 1380)
After meeting candidates from many families, he chooses Pang Yunqing. Their household is quiet and centered on cultivation, with affection often expressed through practical care rather than fluent romantic conversation. They share responsibility for their child Li Jiangchun, while Xizhi later arranges a move nearer Moongaze so family duties remain within reach. Some relatives nevertheless resent the opportunities he receives. When criticized around Chengqi’s death, Zhouluo remembers that the elders approved his departure and is hurt to find that even close kin can treat it as neglect. (Chapters 1380 and 1452)
Family Ties through Political Separation
Zhouluo continues attending family affairs, and good news concerning Jiangchun prompts interest in a sword inheritance for the next generation. The changing political landscape makes his southern connections more consequential. After an Azure Pond summons, he escorts Yunqing to Simin, then risks returning to Moongaze. When Li Xuanxuan questions his position, he denies divided loyalties. He explains that a senior wished to protect the branch connected by marriage to the Yang Family, but insists that he does not want to remain with the Yang household indefinitely. (Chapters 1525 and 1630–1631)
His declaration does not remove the problem stronger powers see in his lineage. Yang Ruiyi later tells Zhouwei that Zhouluo’s Yang blood makes remaining with them the safest course: it would prevent others from using him as an emissary or a means to divide the two houses. The arrangement offers real protection while also limiting how freely his branch can stand between rival interests. His loyalty remains with the Lis, but the terms of his security have become a matter others negotiate. (Chapter 1640)
Appearance and personality
Zhouluo has gray eyes, long brows and elegant features combining his parents’ appearance. He wears black pleated robes and speaks confidently. His sharp gold cultivation later gives him a stern, commanding presence, while leaving the lake for advancement restores an especially vigorous manner. (Chapters 940, 1182, and 1380)
He is open, courteous and willing to accommodate requests. In office, that temperament combines with a practical wish to accumulate goodwill rather than create enemies during a short tenure. He values family responsibilities but is sensitive to accusations that approved cultivation opportunities amount to selfish withdrawal. (Chapters 1000, 1184, and 1452)
Abilities and cultivation
Gold Aura Profound Inquiry
Zhouluo becomes the first Li practitioner of Gold Aura Profound Inquiry after the family acquires Feathered Gold Liquid. The ancient method develops sharp golden qi in the Geng Metal lineage and supports his sword practice. Its aura can give his presence authority during flight and administrative appearances, but confidence and appearance do not replace experience in political judgment. His cultivation resources are largely supplied through Xizhi and compare favorably with those of sect direct descendants. (Chapters 1033, 1118, and 1182)
Gold Feathered Beast Immortal Foundation
The Gold Feathered Beast is the named foundation Zhouluo builds after moving south under his grandfather’s arrangements. It marks his entry into Foundation Establishment and the higher standing associated with that realm. Its precise personal mechanics are unknown; the name alone does not establish an animal transformation, a particular quality grade or divine ability. His subsequent life on Splitreed Island continues the cultivation path begun with Gold Aura Profound Inquiry. (Chapter 1380)
Sword Practice and Xushi
Xizhi provides Zhouluo with the Xushi Sword, a brownish-yellow weapon made from Foundation-level materials and suited to his metal practice. He can possess such equipment while still cultivating Qi, so the weapon’s grade should be distinguished from its wielder’s realm. Ximing offers advice when inspecting it, and Zhouluo continues carrying a sword at later family meetings. His equipment and training do not establish one of the separately named high sword-mastery stages. (Chapters 1118 and 1525)
